Paths
Paths written 9/4/09
ive walked lifes highway
alone in my path always looking
always searchin always hoping
but never finding my true path
Some paths i would travel for days,
others months and then even a
few i traveled for years, paths would
blend together after a while always
merging always changing into new.
the paths i walked started
to get rocky and full of
hardships and despair
as the older i got each year
Then oe day i stumbled
lostin despair and pain,
i fell onto a new path
not knowing what to expect
on that new path i found
a man who had traveled long
on a path very similar to mine
with hardships and pain of his own.
the paths we walked
drew us closer together
each was a light a guide
unto the others path.
True love was found
on the most rocky of paths
where natures clashed
and hidden selves revealed.
Love and hope overcame
where hardship and pain once dwelled
a new path a new start arose
from two wanderers hopes and dreams.
Where this new path will take them
neither one of them knows
but together they shall walk
into a new life of happiness.
