The Dazzling Creature
As usual, lets go into comments first, I don't have much time since I'm leaving for the Saint Jean Babtist parade soon!
kylee- You can't belive how eager I am to right the part of Yuuri's childhood in Japan. It takes all my will power not to just blur everything out right now! And after I read your comment I thought back on these 7 chapters and told myself. Right, these boys are not really sex-driven for hormonal teenagers. So let's screw chapter 8 and go with:
"I was in the cafe, being my usual 'I hate the world' self, when I saw Kuro looking at me. A powerful urge whashed over me and I ran over to Kuro and ripped all his cloths off and started doing him on a table. He was all like 'Why the hell do you want to do it right now?' Still as emotionless as ever. And I was like, smirk *pounce*. So we proceded to f**k like bunnies and everyone was like WTF. Afterward, Kuro was smiling brightly and never yelled at anyone ever again. Turns out we were only very sexually frustrated.-The End."
Okay, I'm only joking but it's seems I got carried away so I decided that this I would tackle they
re relationship with a slower and softer approach. But don't you worry, they will get plenty of chances to touch each others in future chapters!- I'm glad you enjoed the chapter nonetheless.
MiriuOniaya-I've got such a funny mental image of a chibi you "squeak and flail and giggle and grin and get immensely happy and stuffs" But don't worry I think that's common fangirl reaction! I also really love Kishimoto. If I had to make a top three of my favourite characters in this story it would be: Kuro, Yuuri and Kishimoto. And I also wanted him and Yuuri to have like a love/hate/rivalry relationship. Since Kuro is so important to Kishimoto he can't help but like Yuuri too since he makes Kuro happy. And yeah, chocolate, Yuuri just can't be like everyone else. As for when you wrote "You’re super welcome for each and every word! You deserve it all!" It really touched me, thank you. xoxo
BRM-Hugs to you too, keep on being so hyper!
Lisa- Last but not least, after I answer your review I only need to click on Update and I'm done. I don't mind that you screwed up french, belive me I've seen much worse! About Yuuri being so rude to Kishimoto, well, Kishimoto does enjoy pushing Yuuri's bottons and Yuuri doesn't really trust Kishimoto or anyone really. Since he's not used to trusting people he doesn't quite know how to react to Kishimoto being so nice but he gets better. He warms up to Kishimoto too.-Thank you and please enjoy this chapter.
Yes! I managed to answer to all the reviews before my grand mother arrived to pick me up!Now on with the chapter. I wrote it with love!
I am quite proud of myself today. Why, well, I did not throw anything or shout or punch anybody all day! Even though it’s as cold as hell outside, I’m having a surprisingly good day. I have seated our regular costumers and I’m bringing them their coffees and cakes as they chat quietly among themselves. I’m really getting the hang of this, I haven’t started any ruckus in a while.
“It’s a slow day today.” I almost jumped out of my skin as Kowai Kao Kuro came up behind me and said that.
“What the hell is up with you sneaking up on me like that?” I snapped. He only tilts his head a little. “I’ll show you to cock your head to the side like that.” I said with a smirk and I quickly ducked down to grab him around the waist. I barely touched him and he gave out a little yelp and shuddered away from my grasp but he didn’t have too much space to escape since his back hits the wall. My smirk only widen.
“You think you can get away from me don’t you?” I asked and attacked his sides again this time he curled on himself in attempt to squirm away from me. As I poked at him mercilessly he tried to curl up some more so I couldn’t see his face. However, his shoulders were trembling slightly and I could here some funny muffled sounds from him.
“You’re ticklish aren’t you!” I said in realisation.
“Stop it.” He said breathlessly but that voice only encouraged me further. He tried to make a brake and a run for it but I caught him from behind and kept on tickling his sides. It seemed to be quite effective since small noise he was making became louder.
“Are you laughing or what?” I asked. I couldn’t help but laugh even though the redhead fought against my hold for a he didn’t seem in any distress other that I might tickle him to death. I was actually forcing a reaction out of him. I have to admit the way he reacts to my tickling is just adorable. The way he hunches over and shakes all over. It must be the cutest thing I’ve ever since!
“Stop it Yuuri, it’s not funny.” He pleaded shaking his head wildly.
“I finally made you react. Do you think I’ll stop now?” I asked.
“Yuuri.” He begged again however this time his voice was a pitch higher, he was truly losing control. And the tone of his voice sent pleasant shiver down my spine, he sounded more happy than I’ve ever seen him.
“Kuro chan are you laughing?” Kishimoto asked as he passed by us. We both froze and looked up at him. He stared wide eyed at the redhead, who was breathless and his cheeks were flushed bright red.
“Don’t worry, I wasn’t hurting him or anything.” I said with a scowl as I let go of Kuro’s waist. At my surprise Kishimoto’s face brightened up and a large smile appeared on his face. So he didn’t think I was fighting with Kuro, he was so quiet a moment there I thought he might be angry. I smiled back at my senior.
“The sound of your laugh is absolutely the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.” Kishimoto said patting the redhead hair tenderly. I could swear I saw Kishimoto’s eyes become glossy with tears. I looked down at the redhead, he had calmed down and his face was going back into it’s usual façade. Judging by the senior’s reaction, to see Kuro so expressive is just that rare. The boy really is that emotionless.
“You didn’t know that he was that ticklish?” I asked with a grin and Kishimoto shook his head. I reached out and poked the boy’s side lightly again and he shuddered away from me again.
“How cute.” Kishimoto said.
“You guys, I can’t serve all these clients by myself.” Ren said as he walked passed by.
“Sure, coming.” I said in an annoyed toned and we followed him toward the kitchen. Before I had the chance to go too far Kishimoto caught my arm. I turned to him and gave him a confused look.
“In the four years I’ve know him I never saw him smile, let alone laugh.” He said giving me a smile that looked like an approving smile before he went to the kitchen. So was I the only one to get such reactions out of him? Why does such a possibility makes my stomach flutter? I shook my head to try to get my mind off the subject. I’m already making the clients wait enough. They’ll probably be restless by the time I get there.
However as I push the door with my tray in hand only to find my two tables empty! My ears instantly pick up the horrible sound of girly squealing. This is not good at all. I quickly scan the room only to find the mass of renegade harpies crowding around a single window.
“What the hell is going on in here?” I shout setting my trays on the counter. I can believe I thought even for a single moment, that I could have a normal, eventless day? God must hate me so much.
“There seemed to be something interesting outside.” I almost jumped a second time as Kuro came up behind me again.
“Thanks for pointing that out.” I scowled.
“What did you do this time, there always seem to be a chaotic environment whenever you work?” asked the white haired man smirking.
“F**k you, I didn’t cause that!” I snapped at him, why does it always have to be my fault? I just left the floor for five minutes to get the orders and something like that as to happen. The constant high pitch squealing is about to make my ear drums bleed; I grab the side of my head in frustration.
“That’s it. I’ll go beat up whoever is causing that ruckus.” I sapped rolling up my sleeves. I had to force my way through the mass of giggling and screaming teenage girls. The brat follows me up to the front of the crowd; he would probably attempt to calm the growing mod. It’s a wonder he was able to making unscratched with his size. I was able to get to the window without too much bruising; however, I was out of breath and just about ready to throw a fit.
I wasn’t too surprised to see that the object of their excitement was none other than an handsome man standing across the street. Wow. That’s all that came to my mind. I think I can understand what the big fuss is about; even to me this man was slightly dazzling. He was leaning against a black car starring at the horizon in a pensive manner. With a long elegant finger, he pushed a silky ebony strand behind his ear. His skin was of the fairest shade, which contrasted nicely with his dark hair and cloths. He has a long face, graceful features and sharp almond shaped auburn eyes. He was wearing a thick dark brown fur coat to shelter himself from the harsh wind. This air of coolness simply hung around him.
“Oh, aniki.” The redhead said as he waved at the handsome man.
“What! You know this dazzling creature!” I exclaimed grabbing the boy’s shoulder and shaking him none too gently. The man had already noticed the scary faced boy and his faced light up instantly. Seems like these two are really familiar with each other, the brat wouldn’t have called him ‘older brother’ otherwise. The black haired man rushed to our side of the street screaming something that sounded like ‘Kurotan’. It made a loud popping sound as he glued his face to the window; please don’t tell me this is another one of Kowai Kao Kuro’s weird friends! The brat opened the window since we couldn’t hear what the dazzling creature was babbling about through the thick glass.
“Kurotan, mon amour (1), I’m so sorry I didn’t get the chance to see you for such a long time!” he exclaimed, his cheerful voice was light and incredibly nice to hear.
“You should come in aniki, you’ll freeze out there.” Said the brat, as I expected he wasn’t dazed one bit by the gorgeous man.
“Yes! Tu dois me réchauffer (2), hug me Kurotan!” he pleaded trying to climb up the window; this guy is totally out of his mind. Why do people seem to get so excited when they see Kowai Kao Kuro?
“You should use the door; you’ll hurt yourself that way.” The redhead said leaning over the window frame.
“Your concern is so honourable, mon amour, I won’t, make you wait a minute more!” he said dramatically. “I’ll be by your side in a moment.” He said before running of in direction of the door. This guy didn’t even spare a glance my way, just like Kishimoto he seems to have a strange admiration for the boy, another cocky one perhaps.
“What’s with all the commotion?” asked Ren coming out of the kitchen, a large mixing bowl in one hand and a menacing scowl on his feminine face.
“It’s the king.” Kishimoto said as he tried to coax the girls back to their chairs.
“The... the king?” Stuttered the dark haired okama nervously. “You mean Ohba senpai?” he asked but the so-called king walked through the door, a confident smile was plastered on his face. He had removed the fur coat; he was wearing a familiar uniform. He had the prince like suit the student council wore; the only difference was that his was a rich midnight black colour. Just like earlier he ignored everyone around, walked up to the petite boy, and took one of his small hands in his own.
“Tu m’a tant manqué mon amour.(3)” He said in a seductive velvet voice and kissed the top of the brat’s head. I could not understand a single word the man said, I couldn’t speak French to save my life! I glare silently at the scene unfolding in front of me.
“You’re freezing aniki.” The redhead said grabbing his elder’s hands and rubbed them in hope of warming him up a bit.
“Ta bonté n’a donc aucune limite (4), Kurotan, stop worrying about me. Toi, comment vas-tu?(5)” he asked, the weird guy speaks a strange mix of English and French. Everything he says sounds extremely romantic. This guy seems like a cocky sweet talker, I already don’t like him.
“Kurochan was serious Tyler, you know how easily you get frost bites.” Kishimoto said. “Plus, if you keep courting Kurochan too much I might get jealous.” He added smirking; the dazzling creature flashed him a toothy smile. I clench my fists, it frustrates my how Kishimoto is friendly with this gorgeous man and he’s always trying to pick a fight with me. This Tyler guy is much more threatening than I am, he’s constantly courting and touching the creepy brat.
“Ohba senpai, welcome to my cafe, please let me take care of you!” said Ren bowing, finally snapping out of his shocked state. The dark haired man immediately stood and walked over to the okama.
“Ren, aussi ravissant que les premières fleurs du printemps!(6)” He said kissing the feminine hand, what he said must have been a compliment because Ren blushed and grabbed his cheek shyly.
“Please senpai, you’re too charming! Your hands are freezing come warm up by our fire place.” Ren proposed leading him toward the fireplace. I really don’t like this guy, why does he get to have such nice treatment. He completely ignores me; does he think he’s too good for me? Ren even brought him a chair. He thanks him, gracefully sits down, and looks up at the redhead.
“Kurotan, come sit with me.” The dazzling man said extending his hand to the boy. Kowai Kao Kuro blushes slightly.
“But aniki...” the brat starts.
“No way!” I exclaimed without really thinking about the consequences first, several pair of eyes turned toward me. Heat rushes to my face, why did I have to go and say something like that. Kishimoto smirks at me.
“What’s the matter Inoue? It’s just sitting, nothing more. Since you don’t like Kuro it shouldn’t bother you so much.” He said cockily, I blushed even further. Really, what is the matter with me?
“I don’t mind, I hate that brat! But who is this bastard and why would everyone do whatever this guy wants? He’s not the president of f**king America!” I shout angrily, typically pointing at his face rudely.
“Yuuri kun!” gasped Ren.
“What?” I barked, the dazzling creature stood and pushed the hair out of his face in a long beautiful movement.
“Pardon me. Your name is Inoue Yuuri, am I not right?” he asked, his sharp eyes are almost intimidating; he stands at eye level with me.
“What is it to you?” I asked crossing my arms, I’m not going to let myself be pushed around by some pretty face.
“I knew it! My princes gave me a great description of you. A dynamic teen with a intimidating voice and a tendency to suddenly burst out in anger.” The dark haired man said.
“And who the f**k are you to pass some kind of judgement on me?” I shouted.
“Pardon me, I’m being awfully rude. My name is Ohba Tyler, I’m the school president, and my loyal subjects tend to call me King.” He said bowing respectfully. Seriously, why do I always pick a fight with the bad person? He’s the school president, no wonder these guys are so respectful, he’s so polite and charming too.
“Well that explains the uniform.” I said sarcastically. That’s right, I’m too prideful to apologise. I bet it was Abe Hibari and Tooru Santa who told him about me.
“Don’t be so bitter Yuuri kun, I’m not here to steal Kurorimi from you.” He said smiling gently.
“Steal!” I exclaimed. Why do people keep thinking I want this boy, I’m not gay, God damn it!
“Don’t you think Kurotan deserve to be spoiled and pampered?” he asked quite seriously as he walked over the redhead and rubbed his cheek gently. I don’t understand, why do everyone like this boy so much, he’s completely emotionless, he barely ever talks to anyone, he’s arrogant, he never looks up at anybody.
“Aniki...” he started.
“Hush, mon amour, laisse moi te caliner un peu.(7)” The king said looking down at him tenderly.
“Do whatever you want with him, like I give a damn. And don’t use the word ‘steal’, we’re not lovers, all of you get this stupid idea out of your minds!” I snapped.
“Yuuri kun, stop shouting, you’re disturbing the clients!” Ren hissed.
“My princes also told me you’d react that way, they said you were quite stubborn on that subject.” Ohba said.
“They’re wrong! I don’t react like that!” I shouted, it only served to aggravate my case, Ren and Kishimoto are holding back a laugher. “Do these two clowns of yours report every single thing back to you?” I asked angrily. With all the weird things that happened to me, why hadn’t I expected these of popping out behind me.
“It’s our duty to report everything back to our king!” Exclaimed Santa’s cheerful voice. I spun around only to say the pink haired boy and his serious counterpart dressed in the cafe’s uniform. Please don’t tell me these two have decided to start working here.
“My dear princes, I was waiting for you to arrive!” said the king cheerfully. He walked over to Ren and grabbed him by the shoulders. “Ren chéri, I am terribly sorry but I have no choice but to abduct one of your employees.” He said poetically. “Mais n’ait point de craintes! Please accept the service of my good princes.” Ohba said dramatically.
“That’s okay senpai, I can manage just fine.” The okama said completely mesmerized by the seductive auburn eyes.
“None sense! I insist you take them.” The king said.
“You’re too kind senpai.” Ren said smiling like a lovesick schoolgirl.
“Great!” Ohba said clapping once. “Now I feel much less guilty for taking Kurotan.” He said, the redhead looked up at him, he probably had no idea he was being taken away, I simply glared at the king.
“Aniki.” Kowai Kao Kuro inquired.
“Désolé chéri, I didn`t tell you first, mais je dois t`emmener avec moi.” The dark haired man said grabbing his junior’s tiny hands. The boy suddenly shot a glance at me, somehow he seemed so much more tense. If I didn’t know better I’d say he has a pleading look. My fists clenches again.
“What the hell do you think you’re doing? You can’t just randomly kidnap someone.” I said, for once not shouting, I was looking down at the brat instead of turning to the king. The mismatched eyes became somewhat hopeful.
“Care to join us Yuuri kun?” asked Ohba, I glared at him again.
“Why not I think it’s a wonderful idea! You’ll get to meet someone really awesome!” he said before I even had time to answer. “Come on, come on. We’ll leave in a few minutes!” he said cheerfully dragging me along to the entrance.
“Don’t just decide stuff like that on your own, I haven’t approved of anything yet!” I yelled as I struggled against the king’s grasp. He grabbed our coat and handed them to us, I cursed the dazzling creature as I slipped on my suede jacket. I sat in the back seat of the king`s black car crossing my arms. Why do I get the feeling black is his favourite colour?
“Can I at least know where we’re going?” I asked.
“Aren’t you curious?” He asked chuckling.
“Of course I am, I don’t want you to drag my into something weird!” I exclaimed in frustration.
“That’s not what I meant Inoue kun. Don’t you want to learn more about Kurotan’s family?” He asked.
“Not so sure.” I said hesitantly, I was a bit scared by the overly cheerful tone the king was using.
“You’ll be thrilled!” The gorgeous man said with a jolly laugh.
“Stop deciding these things on your own! I can decide if I’m thrilled or not on my own!” I shouted.
“I’m sorry Inoue kun, I’m not trying to offend you in any way.” Ohba said, I responded with a low growl. We drove for only a few minutes before we ended up the hospital’s parking. I hope we’re not hear t visit a dying relative.
“Is anyone hurt?” I asked.
“Don’t worry Inoue kun. He only needs a ride home.” The king explained.
“How about Andrea?” The redhead questioned, I just remembered he was riding with us, he had been keeping so silent.
“Don’t worry about him cheri, he has classes this afternoon. That’s why I’m here to pick him up.” The king said grinning, Kuro nodded. Apparently, he’s more aware of the situation then I am. “Besides, if I’m not mistaking you have an appointment here today too.” Ohba questioned.
“Correct.” He said starting to play with the edge of his uniform. I’d say he looks a little nervous. It’s pretty hard to guess since his face remains the same. When we arrived we followed our senior since he seemed to know where he was going. I followed closely since it was the first time I ever went inside this hospital. It’s very nice looking, it’s either new or as just been renovated. The king stopped a nurse on the second floor.
“Is Gianni still seeing the doctor.” Ohba asked.
“Yes, but it shouldn’t be much longer.” The Chinese nurse said. She stopped for a moment but quickly turned back to us as she seemed to have just realised something. “Tyler is that you?” she asked. The king smiled gently at her.
“How are you doing Xiao Xi?” He asked.
“Tyler! It’s been so long, you’ve grown so much since I last saw you!” She exclaimed touching his shoulder as if to see if he was really there.
“I know, I’m sorry I should have come more often.” He said scratching the back of his head. “This time I brought this boy too.” He said putting a hand on the redhead’s shoulder.
“Oh yes! Namikaze kun!” She said, she sounded a bit too cheerful for my liking. It sounded as if she was forcing herself to keep that face in front of the boy. “Come this way dear.” She said leading him away from us. The brat glanced back at Ohba, then at me. I suddenly had the urge to grab his arm but I restrained myself. I had the impression he really didn’t want to go.
“Is there anything wrong with him?” I asked, I was a bit curious. Kowai Kao Kuro never mentioned anything about an appointment and I have the feeling that if Ohba had never came to get him he wouldn’t have gone.
“Nothing too serious. It’s just regular check up to make sure everything’s fine. Kurotan had a very bad pneumonia last month.” The king explained.
“He didn’t seem like he wanted to go.” I observed.
“Do you blame him? No one really likes to go to the doctor.” He said nonchalantly. Just then a man in a white coat came out of the room. The doctor was very tall and somehow he made me think of a certain student council watchdog. I read ‘Abe Ranmaru’, no wonder they look alike, I bet this guy is his father. They have the same cold eyes.
“Oh, it’s Tyler. Did you come here to pick up Gianni?” Ranmaru asked, he seemed quite familiar with our school president.
“Yes, I brought you Kurotan too.” Ohba explained.
“He’s my next patient, isn’t he?” The doctor asked, the king nodded. “I shouldn’t make him wait then.” He added heading toward the room the nurse had taken the redhead in earlier. Ohba turned an knocked on the door.
“Can I come in?” he asked.
“No, you can’t.” The dry reply came.
“Don’t be so harsh Gianni kun.” Ohba said pressing his palm against the door.
“Wait, who is that?” asked the man on the other side.
“Guess.” The king said, somehow his voice sounded even more seductive than before. The door swung open revealing a man about an inch or two shorter than Ohba. This one was clearly not Asian. He had neat ear length dark blond hair and dark olive green eyes. He looked a couple of years older since his face was much more mature and serious. He tried to glare but his eyes were as wide as saucers.
“Ohba Tyler.” He said as if he had just seen a ghost. “What are you doing here?” He asked, his thick Italian accent was hard to miss.
“Your brother called me, he had class so he wanted me to come pick you up.” Ohba said, he stood very close to the Italian, which seemed to make the elder nervous.
“Why? After so long.” Gianni stuttered.
“I finally had the courage to come.” The king said huskily leaning in closer to the Italian.
“I don’t need a ride, I’ll get home by myself!” The Italian said taking a step backward. His face was beat red.
“You don’t have a car.” The king argued.
“I’ll walk.” Gianni said crossing his arms, he looked extremely nervous around the dark haired man.
“Don’t say such mean things, didn’t you miss me?” Ohba asked grinning taking a step closer to the Italian, he grabbed his elbow in order to keep him from backing up any further.
“Not at all.” He muttered nervously. These two have an awkward relationship. Ohba suddenly became like a tiger about to pounce on a defenceless gazelle. That’s probably how the Italian felt right now. “Get away from me brat!” he exclaimed. The king leaned in even closer.
“Won’t you two get a room.” I said just before Ohba had the chance to press their lips together. The Italian turned even redder. There was clearly something going on between these two. I never thought the king would be such a player; he was courting the redhead no even an hour ago.
“Oh! I’m so sorry Inoue kun, I forgot to introduce you!” exclaimed Ohba, he pushed the Italian slightly toward me. “This is Gianni Vivarelli, Kurorimi’s cousin and my lover.” He said flashing a seductive smile at the blond.
“Don’t get ahead of yourself kid, you’re a few years too young to be my lover.” Gianni said sending a killer glare toward his so-called lover.
“You don’t have to be so shy cheri, this man is a good friend of Kurotan.” The king explained. Instead of reacting to the comment like earlier, the Italian shot a glare at me. His dark eyes caught mine as if he had the intent of murdering me. He honestly made me nervous.
“What are you saying, me, a good friend of Kowai Kao Kuro? You’re the one that dragged me all the way here!” I exclaimed.
“How did you just called my cousin?” Gianni asked, his voice came out as dangerous growl. I glared at him.
“Kowai-Kao-Kuro.” I repeated. That’s when the wild animal pounced. The older man punched me on the right cheek without as much as a warning. I was so stunned I took a couple of steps backward.
“I won’t have a brat like you badmouth my cousin right in front of me.” He said cracking his joints.
“What the hell is wrong with you, you psychotic bastard?” I asked rubbing my injured cheek. He tried to punch me second time but I managed to dodge and hit him with a punch of my own. The force of the impact split his bottom lip.
“That’s enough you two. We’re still in an hospital.” Ohba said coming in-between the two of us.
“Do you seriously think I’ll let this little son of a bitch get away with insulting Kuro chan?” The blond asked. He was ready to come at me again and I would be ready to take him if the dazzling creature wasn’t blocking the way. He grabbed the Italian firmly by the shoulders and pressed their lips together. The blond was so dazzled he opened his mouth to gasp but the king only took that opportunity to shove his tongue in his elder’s mouth. The Italian moaned loudly growing weak in Ohba’s warm embrace. After a long moment he was finally able to muster enough strength to push the Asian away. A scarlet blush covered his face.
“What the hell Tyler?” Gianni snapped covering his mouth with the back of his hand.
“You shouldn’t fight in the hospital cheri, it’s full of people that need to rest. And what do you think Kurotan would say.” Ohba asked. He had obviously touched a sensitive cord since he immediately backed down.
“Is Kuro chan here?” Gianni asked completely forgetting about me.
“Yes, he had an appointment right after yours. They got his test results.” The king explained. The mood suddenly became very serious.
“I pray God the results are better than last time. The Italian said.
“I hope so too.” The dazzling creature said. I wish I could ask about what was going on but last time I asked the king answered somewhat coldly.
Kowai Kao Kuro came out only a few minutes later, he had some a large portfolio in his hands. He look somewhat sadden but the feeling faded away the moment he saw us. He seemed hesitant to come our way, his movements were a bit slower than usual.
“Kuro chan, are you alright?” Gianni asked he sounded hesitant as he walked toward his cousin.
“I’m fine, it’s the same result as last time. Don’t worry over that.” Kuro said, he never even spared a glance my way. When Ohba walked over to them I felt like I was nothing but a mere spectator in this scene.
“You know, Kurotan cheri, you don’t have to be strong around us.” Ohba said rubbing circles on the boy’s back.
“It’s fine, really.” He simply answered. Somehow this situation sounded more than bad. The two elders looked as if they were about to cry. What’s going on? How I hate being left out! Kowai Kao Kuro suddenly turned to me.
“What happened to your face?” He asked pointing up at me. His hands were shaking slightly, for once he seemed affected by the situation. He clearly wanted to change the subject and since it made me uncomfortable as well, I decided to play along.
“That!” I said pointing up at my swollen cheek. “Was because of your crazy cousin!” I shouted pointing at the blond.
“There’s one thing I don’t overlook and that’s when people disrespect my family.” Gianni said crossing his arms. That statement made him sound stereotypically Italian.
“You two fought?” Kuro asked raising a hand to his cousin’s face in order to see his injuries.
“It’s nothing Kuro chan. That bastard shamelessly insulted you in my presence.”
“Him, he always insults me. Don’t mind what he says to much he doesn’t mean half of it.” Kowai Kao Kuro explained.
“Mind your own business Kowai Kao Kuro, I mean every single thing I said!” I shouted. The Italian almost jumped at me again but this time he was held back by Ohba and Kuro.
“Will you two stop fighting, they’ll have to call security on us.” Ohba warned. “Get in the car, we’ve been hanging here for long enough.” He added. The two of us glared at each other but obeyed nonetheless. I don’t know why we came to pick up Kuro’s crazy cousin. He doesn’t look very sick to me. Although, he does use a cane to walk.
“Do you need help?” The king asked as we were going down a small flight of stairs.
“I’m fine.” He said coldly. “It’s only the weather. Whenever it’s humid my legs are killing me.” He explained. I looked at him, wondering what might have happened to him. “What are you looking at, punk?” He asked in a calm, yet offensive tone.
“Nothing, you Italian prick.” I barked back. “It’s unusual to see a man your age walking around with a cane.” I inquired.
“I don’t always need it.” He said in defence.
“You’ve been using it less, right, darling?” Ohba asked. The Italian blushed.
“It’s getting better, the therapy helps a lot. It’s also much less laborious than it used to be.” Gianni explained.
“Gianni is an incredible man.” Ohba said smiling at me. “It’s a miracle he managed to even walk again. He only had 35% chances of ever being mobile again.” The king explained proudly.
“You don’t have to tell my life history to this retarded punk.” The Italian complained.
“But you’re such an amazing person, anyone would want to know.” Ohba said.
“Says you.” Gianni growled.
“He acts like that but he’s truly amazing. I was a totally different person before I met him.” Ohba said to me and Kuro.
Ohba Tyler’s POV; 9th grade.
I glare at the man in authority, the school principal, through my thick light auburn bang. My knees are up to my chest as I lean back into the seat and I cross my arms to show as much disrespect as I can. I’d say it’s a record, today will make it the 13th time I get dragged into this office since we’ve started the school year, little less than a month ago.
Should I be to blame? The teachers at this school are all a bunch of no good tyrants. It makes me how these middle-aged losers even got there BA. Even I could teach better than they could. It’s either they are boring as hell or they don’t even know themselves what they are rambling about.
And don’t even let me get started on the old pre-menopause hag that teaches English. That old b***h was the one that sends me to the principal at least half of the times. Today she made that whole fuss just because I fell asleep during her class. I bet she’s just letting all her built up frustration on me. It’s not my problem she never got a man in her life!
The principal sits in the leather chair in front of me and just sighs. He is a surprisingly young man, early thirties I would say. He as a nice clean face, stormy gray eyes and light brown hair cut just above his ears. He is the only person in this whole school that I do not hate. He has always been good to me; he never suspended me once yet.
“What am I going to do with you Tyler? What did you do again?” he asked.
“Fell asleep in the old witch Potvin’s class.” I answered nonchalantly, chewing my gum loudly, occasionally popping a bubble.
“Again! It’s the tenth time already!” He exclaimed.
“I got the best grades in that class so what does it matter if I sleep or not?” I asked, even though I may spend the majority of the time playing prank and pestering the teacher I still get the best grades in most of my classes. The only one that as a chance of surpassing me would be that stuck up boy Abe Hibari. However, I don’t think that kid as any kind of social life, the only things he ever do is study. He’s nothing but a nerdy prick.
“I know, your grades are too good, I can’t just throw out of the school for something so stupid.” He grabbed is head in desperation. “You can’t keep acting like that, I will really have to suspend if this goes on.” He warned.
“I can’t help it if all the teachers at this school are boring as hell.” I muttered.
“You can’t keep disrupting class because you don’t like the teachers. Not everyone is as quick as learning as you are and they can’t learn anything if the teacher is always on your case.” He tried in vain to explain. I honestly really don’t give a damn, I just want to get out of this school as soon as possible. No one is worth my time here. “This time I have no choice but to call your parents.” He said looking at me sternly. I looked up at him with a menacing glare.
“My parent.” I correct. “I only have a father.” I growled. That person is nothing but an intruder in my house, another person that’s just bound to leave and hurt my father again. Another person I’ll have to get rid of. I can’t let anyone get close to my father, he’s had enough problem already.
“Tyler, please don’t make things even harder on your father as they already are.” The principal pleaded.
“I’m not, I’m only protecting him!” I barked.
“Your father’s new boyfriend is very good man, why don’t you just give him a chance?” He asked.
“Never! He’ll just hurt him!” I shouted, standing up in rage. The principal sigh and shakes his head.
“Go back home for the day Tyler, I simply don’t know what to say to you. Please let see you for the rest of the year.” He pleaded as he rubbed his temples; he’s getting a headache over my case. Serves him right.
“Sure.” I grumbled shoving my hands in my pocket.
“Be safe on your way home, okay?” He insisted. I think, even though I’m a trouble maker, he really likes me. He’s always concerned like a big brother should be.
“Sure, whatever.” I said waving him off with my back turned to him. I left the office as if I hadn’t been scolded. I’m used to it by now.
I took the metro to get home; I live at only a few minutes’ walk from a station. When I arrived home, I noticed my father’s car was not in the driveway, he’s still at work. However, his boyfriend’s red truck is present. I walked through the front door without saying a single word of greeting.
“Tyler, is that you?” asked the voice of a man in his mid forties. I don’t answer, hurry upstairs to my room and shut the door loud enough to let him know it’s me. I do not intend to talk to him, Isaac Welter, my father’s new lover. He’s the first one that managed to stay here for more than one month. They usually take the door the moment they start to know me. I make sure they don’t want to stay after they’ve experience d my attitude. This one hasn’t broken yet, I’m amazed at his persistence.
After my parents got divorced, I never wanted to see another woman or man in this house. Especially not after I’ve seen my father broken and betrayed by that woman. Not after what she’s done to as a child. I can’t possibly trust anyone after that, not even my own sister. My twin sister, she’s the exact copy of that awful woman.
I crashed down on my bed and began writing incompressible words on my note book, I wrote down everything that came across my mind, how much I hated school, Welter, my sister, that witch. All of this in long dark verses; I write with so much fervour that I might just write through the sheet. That’s what I do whenever I can too much frustration, it keeps from having violent breakdowns. I heard footsteps on the hallway, it’s him, he followed me all the way here! The steps stop right in front of my door.
“Tyler, are you alright?” He asked from the other side of the door. His English is very bad, he’s French after all. According to my father, he grew up in a French town. Lachute was it. I never answer him when he speaks French; I hoped it would drive him. The first time we met, I told him I didn’t speak a word in French and ever since he’s been making an effort to talk to me in English.
“Tyler?” he repeats. “Did you have trouble in school?” he asked.
“F**k off, this is none of your business!” I snap from me side of the door. The pen in my hand shakes slightly.
“We can talk about it if you want.” He proposed.
“I don’t have anything to talk about with you.” I shouted throwing the pen at the door so hard it broke into three pieces. I hear him sigh hopelessly, since I not leaving any space for argument he has no chance but to turn away. When he left, I had to spend several minutes taking deep breaths to try to control my shaking. I grabbed my spare pen and went back to writing in my book, I know this time I came close to having a breakdown. It’s all because of him. Before he came along, I was starting to be able to control them.
These violent breakdowns are another thing that came from my parent’s divorce. The doctors all said the divorced must have caused a trauma, if they’d only known what that woman did to me. Even since I’ve been taking medication for this, or I should take medication. I hate the pills; I should take it whenever I feel an episode coming but the drug is so strong it leaves me vegetable for almost approximately twelve hour. I’m not a nut case, damn it! I don’t want to be controlled by a goddamned drug! Curse that woman for making me like this! I can’t even look at my sister without slipping into one of these spasms.
I jumped when I hear a knock on my door. The knock surprised me so much I dropped my pen. What could it be this time? I roll on my bed to see the clock on my desk. It’s already 6:12pm, that means I must have been writing for a really long time.
“Can I come in?” Asked the voice that I immediately recognized as my father’s.
“Sure.” I said as I sat up on my bed. There is not that much furniture in my room, it’s pretty boring. I only have two dressers, a bed and a desk, nothing but the necessary and especially no mirrors. I have a strong dislike for those, since me and my sister look so much like my sister I can barely stand to look at myself, it’s also the main reason for which I dyed my hair. They were originally ebony black.
“How was your day?” he asked setting a tray with food on my desk. “Isaac told me you came home early.” He said as he sat on the bed beside me. His name is Ohba Kyoshi, he’s is only 31. He was very young when my mother became pregnant. He looks even younger than his age tells. He as chin length dirty blond hair, always a bit dishevelled, it’s from him that I take my auburn almond shaped eyes. Furthermore, he still as clear flawless skin and a small built. He looks somewhat feminine.
“I fell asleep in a class and the teacher sent me to the principal. That old woman throws a fit at every little thing I do.” I explained pulling my legs up to my chest.
“The principal called me today, he says you have a lot of trouble behaving in that class.” My father said scratching the back of his head nervously.
“I hate that class, that teacher is always on my back no matter what I do.” I said frowning.
“Tyler, I know you’re not taking your medication every day like you should.” He said looking at me. I avoid his gaze. A few years ago, the doctors started prescribing me Methylphenidate, or Ritalin, to try to control my restlessness, my nervousness, my violent outburst as well as my growing attention problem.
“I don’t need any kind of medication. I don’t have a mental problem!” I said clenching my fists.
“That’s not at all what I’m saying; this medicine is only trying to help you concentrate in school.” He tried to explain.
“I don’t need any drugs!” I shouted. My father flinched as I raised my tone. He’s such a fragile person, he doesn’t how to deal with me when I get like that. Deep down I know he really wishes he could help me and hurts him a lot to be so powerless. My gaze immediately softened.
“I’m sorry dad.” I said lowering my head in shame. My poor father had to go through so much with my sister and me; he doesn’t deserve to yelled at. He’s only trying to help.
“No, I’m sorry dear, I shouldn’t force you to take something you don’t want.” He said bowing his head. I bit my lower lip.
“Dad, want me to come down stairs to eat desert with you?” I asked, his face instantly illuminated, his lips curved into a warm smile.
“A lady form work gave me an apple pie since it’s the time of the year for those. You like that, right?” he asked. I nodded. I knew that proposition would make him happy. How long as it been since I’ve had meal downstairs with him? I became some kind of recluse in my own house; I barely ever go out of my room. I’m afraid I may see her, since we live in the same house it’s pretty hard to avoid her. I only ever go out when I’m sure she’s left the house. She’s not here all that much, she often goes out to her friend’s house.
Ohba Hikari, she’s the perfect copy of what my mother used to look like. She has the same long black silky hair, dark eyes, the same deadly white skin, long lashes, full luscious lips, but most of all the same exact voice. That horrible voice still keeps me up at night. Just thinking about it sends shivers down my spine.
I know that this fear of my sister is completely irrational but even if I tell myself that, I can’t stop having violent panic attacks every time I see her. I can’t push my memories of my mother away, it’s as if she carved herself into me. Her beautiful face, her cold stare, her voice and her touch, I can still feel them as if it was burn into my body.
I gave up a long time ago, I’m not fighting anymore. Even though she might be gone, she’ll hunt me for the rest of my life. I’ll never be able to face my sister again; I will never be able to make my father happy either. His biggest wish is for us to be a family again. Maybe I should just leave this house as soon as I can, I’m sure this must be very hard on Hikari too.
“I’ll come down right after I’ve had supper.” I said finally smiling at him. He nods and leaves the room. I hope one day I can change and make my father happy. Nothing else matters really, he’s the only one that loves me on this entire planet. I can’t let him get disappointed!
However, fate doesn’t like me that much and things didn’t go as great as I planned. My father would have to go through so much more pain because of me. Even after I talked with my father, I wasn’t swayed one bit to take that medication. I won’t led some tiny pill control my action or my way of thinking. I was too stubborn to see that I might really need some kind of additional help.
Every morning I make sure to be the first one to wake up. I always shower and make my lunch as fast as I can. I want to leave the house before Hikari gets out of her room. Consequently, I get to school very early. Most of the time only the old French teacher is there before me but I suspect this man likes school so much he even sleeps there. I usually use this extra time to do my home works.
Yet that morning as I walk from home to the metro station I found something much more interesting. I spotted something moving in the grass. I crept closer to investigate and found a tiny white mouse trying to dig for some food. A smirk made its way to my face. I might have overheard one day that Miss Potvin had a deadly fear of mice.
I captured the little rotten with my pencil case. I place the pencil case in a place I was sure she would surely find on her own. However, even though this prank might have sound very funny, it didn’t end quite like imagined it would. It was definitely no laughing matter.
When she opened the pencil case and the mouse jumped at her she broke in a hysteric panic fit. When she climbed on top of desk screaming the whole class burst out laughing. Let me tell you we calmed down when she slipped. She fell to quickly to catch herself and knocked her head on the corner of one of the shelves. We all fell deadly silent as we heard the sickening crack it made when her skull crashed into the shelf. Everyone rushed to the front of the class to her aid. I just stayed in my seat dumfound. What have I done? Maybe she was dead.
As the thought crossed my mind, I began to shake violently. I might have killed another human. I rushed to the front of the class and knelt beside her. Her body was completely stiff and unmoving. Furthermore, there was blood pooling around her head.
“No way!” I exclaimed. My tears began pouring down my face; she was dead! I killed her. “Miss Potvin! Miss Potvin!” I began to yell hysterically shaking her limp body with all my might. I wanted her to wake up. I wanted her to yell at me for my stupid prank and send me to the principal’s office.
“Ohba stop that! You’ll hurt her even more if you move her.” Said one of my classmate, I think it was Abe but I was to overwhelmed with my emotions to notice.
“No! She’s dead! Can’t you see she’s dead! I killed her!” I shouted sobbing ungracefully.
“Stop that Ohba!” Abe shouted grabbing my shoulder.
“I killed her!” I shouted repeatedly.
“She’s not dead!” Abe tried to argue but I just couldn’t hear a word he was saying. Being much taller and bigger than I was he was eventually able to pry me of her forcefully. I trashed violently against his hold but he never loosened his grip. He dragged me out of the class and slammed me against the wall.
“Calm down Ohba!” shouted the dark haired teen.
“Let me go you bastard! I want to see her!” I cried.
“You didn’t kill her!” he tried to make me understand. He forcefully held me down until the fit passed and I was nothing but a sobering mess on the floor. Next I saw countless person go in and out of the class; students, teachers, medics, police officers. Another one of my classmates knelt beside me to take Abe’s place. A white haired kid named Kishimoto Seshiru.
“Come on Ohba kun, you’ll be in the way if you stay there.” Kishimoto said gently grabbing my arm. Out of energy to fight, I let him help me stand. He led me to the principal’s office. I sat on one of the leather couch there for the longest time. No one paid me any attention, I don’t even know how much time passed until my father and the principal came into the office to meet me. Isaac was with them too.
“I’m sorry Tyler but this time I really had to call your parent.” The principal said. I frowned.
“Then what is he doing here?” I asked pointing rudely at Isaac.
“Tyler, Isaac is my lover and he cares about you too.” My father argued, for once he was glaring at me.
“How can you say that? He’ll just hurt you like Helena did!” I shouted.
“Tyler don’t bring that up here, there are some things much more grave going on here!” My father said, for the first time in my life I heard him raise his voice.
“Kyoshi, it’s okay I’ll leave, it will make things easier.” Isaac said caressing my dad’s cheek. I growled menacingly and Isaac left without a word.
“What this boy did was very grave.” The police chef told the principle.
“I know but I sure Tyler didn’t mean for something like this to happen.” The principal tried to argue. I bit my lip in shame. To save me from too much trouble the principal had make sure no one but my parents and the police was aware that I was responsible for the accident.
“He should be expelled from this school.” The chief said.
“Please officer, wouldn’t expulsion be a bit too much? What other school would take him in then? Tyler is not a bad kid. He as excellent grades and I know he didn’t want anybody to get hurt.” The principal pleaded. From the corner of my eye, I could see my father trying to hold back tears.
“What about Abe Hibari? He’s covered in scratches and bruises from Ohba kun.” The chief argued. What? I’ve hurt Abe too?
“He didn’t willingly do it! The boy had a panic attack, that wasn’t his fault. Hibari kun was only trying to help him.” The principal said desperately.
“If this kid is such a mental case then why isn’t he on medication?” the chief asked, his tone was raising, he was getting very irritated.
“My son is not a mental case!” my father said standing. Both he and the principal are trying so hard to protect a troublesome kid like me. What good have I ever done for done for them?
“How can you call a kid a mental case, in front of him and his father too? You truly are shameless officer!” The principal said.
“You’re not in a position to call me shameless sir. This kid is in a lot of trouble and you’re very lucky I didn’t decide to call the news.” The chief threatened. The principal sat back in his chair in defeat, my father was muffled a sob by covering his mouth. “Since he’s just a kid and he’s too young for prison I’ll let him off with community service.” The officer decided.
“Thank you so much officer!” the principal sighed.
“Ohba Tyler, is that okay with you?” The chief asked. Again, I frowned but seriously this time. I looked at the principal then at me father.
“Yes, I accept this punishment.” I told the officer; for once, I had some kind of determination in my voice. “I’m sorry dad, I’ll change, I promise I won’t make you cry again.” I said honestly, tears were forming at my eyes again.
“I believe you Tyler.” My father said taking me in is arms. This time I was resolved to do something right for once in my life. I’m not going to let my father down, nor the principal. They worked too hard to give me a second chance I just can’t them down. I will change for them!

(1)My love.
(2)You need to warm me up.
(3)I missed you so much my love.
(4)You're kindness as no limits.
(5)You, how are you?
(6)Ren, as beautiful as the first flowers of spring.
(7)Let me embrace you a little while.
Okay, so this chapter as a slightly different tone, or Characters. I'm sorry I've sailed away from our original story but sometimes while writing a story I get a completely different idea. This is the result, instead of making these characters they're own story I decided to merge it with my main stories. Plus, I really like this couple. I really like this chapter and the next part I'll send probably next Friday.
At least, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter, tell me what you think!
And I got to say I just love the first part where Yuuri makes Kuro laugh. I always thought Kuro would have a weird laugh. He barely makes any sounds but he hunches over and shakes all over. Moreover, the king is awesome!
kylee- You can't belive how eager I am to right the part of Yuuri's childhood in Japan.
