Chapter eight: Key
'There is no escape destroyer unit.' a woman said, she wore a strange gray outfit with a shirt and jacket,
'You have served your function well, and killed off the team that was working on you, just as your programming dictates. Our remaining scientists can take you to others who did this to you if you will behave.'
what? reasoning with this female? no. she would take the little one away. I was never ment to harm anyone, and I have murdered...
I looked down, my hands and arms, my chest was covered in blood spatter, bits of skin and hair and bone plastered to the hellish mix of wires and needles that still clung lamely to my skin. But Key, I remembered her name now...where had I met her? how could I have met her? Key, was a pale blue from the fluid she had been suspended in. It hung off her hair and pooled at my feet, mixing with the gore that had landed there from the unfortunate scientists.
the woman continued...
'We can take the girl to safety for you, she was damaged, she is a simple and common unit and...'
'No...she was no common 'unit' she was....'I faltered, what was she? that woman had to be lieing...I know she jsut has to be! my head started hurting all the sudden, 'I can't remember!'
the woman looked concerned, as more people came into the hallway, some were muttering things to her. 'quiet! I knwo how to handle this, it happened once before and I controled it' she was hissing to the woman from before, who was still crying and saying something about her mate. she stepped away from her and motioned to a few of the guards "take her to 'safety'" her voice had an edge to it. she was underestimateing me in a very dangerous way, and with this I scanned over my situation, and the odds at hand.
