EPISODE 8

Jordan held Amanda’s hand as they walked down 42ND Street. Jordan was very fond of Amanda. He hadn’t felt that way for a girl in so long and when he did they always hurt him. So as he got to know Amanda he tried to hold back his feelings a little. He didn’t want to come off as a stalker or someone desperate.
“I’m glad you came to see me on my lunch break.” Jordan told her.
“It’s no problem. I’m so happy I have the day off today I wish you didn’t have to work so we could have been together but oh well I progress.” She smiled at him and he felt his hear skip a beat. He wondered if he was in love with her but then he knew that it was too soon to even feel that way.
“Yeah you progress how can you do that without me there?” Jordan laughed and she laughed to.
“Oh please you ain’t that important to me.” She smiled and he smiled back. They had that connection where they could say things like that and they both knew it was a joke.
“So what are you going to do today since you have the day off?”
“I don’t know I was thinking bout chilling with Theresa but I don’t know if she works today.”
“So call her and find out what she has planned.”
“I will later. This is me and you time right now.” She kissed him and he kissed back. They held each other and they stood there in the cold kissing. But as cold as it was all Jordan could feel was warmth in his heart.

David washed the dishes as his mom talked on the phone. David still hadn’t heard anything from his father and he tried to push it out his head but his just couldn’t.
“Thank you very much I will keep in contact with you.” His mother hung up the phone. She made her way over to the sink. She stood there next to David and she grabbed a plate and began to help. “The mane said that he had lived in your fathers house for 3 months already. It was sold to him by a man that wouldn’t give him his name.” David stopped and looked at her.
“Could the man have been dad?” David hadn’t gone over to the house since his dad left.
“It could have been but I’m not sure. I’m sure there is an explanation for all of this we just have to wait for your dad to come. He’s okay honey I know it.” She dried the plate and placed it on the rack.

Theresa walked through Central Park. She walked the same path that she did when she saw David’s dad. She was hoping to catch up with him again. She sat on the bench and she waited hoping that he would pop up. But it was a long shot considering that she didn’t know if that was his regular spot. She took the chance anyway freezing her ass off hoping for a miracle. Just then she felt a hand grip her shoulder. She turned around and there stood Brian.
“What are you doing out here in this cold alone?” Theresa looked around hoping that David’s dad wouldn’t pop up at that moment.
“Oh nothing important just wanted some fresh air.”
This is more then fresh air. This is death waiting to happen.” Brian sat next to her. “So how is David doing I haven’t heard from him since New Years?” Theresa looked around again.
“He’s okay. We suppose to go to the movies later on a date.”
“Sounds like a lot of fun. I can’t remember the last time that Kimberly and I went out on a date. With my suicide attempt and stuff I have been busy with my meetings.”
“She understands Brian. She loves you.” Theresa began to get frantic. She began to rub her legs and stomp her foot.
“Are you okay Theresa?” She nodded her head yes and she looked around again. Brian got up from the bench. “Well I have to go meet up with Liam right now so you be careful.”
You know I will. Take care and tell Liam I said hello.” She got up and hugged Brian goodbye. Brian walked away and Theresa stood there looking around. He wasn’t there and she began to think that he wasn’t going to go back to that spot. She should have known that he would get a new spot since she found him there. She looked around once more and made her way out the park.

Carl sat next to his mother in her room.
“So mom how was your New Years eve?” She looked at him like he was dumb.
“How do you think it was my loving son?” Carl put his hand on hers and he smiled at her.
“I’m going to take you out of here today mom. I don’t think this is helping you at all. I want you back home so I can look after you. What do you think?” She smiled at him.
“That sounds like a plan honey.”
“Great let me go talk to the man about getting you out. I’ll be right back.” Carl walked out the room leaving his mom sitting there. She picked up the phone in her room and she dialed someone’s number. She stood there watching the door to make sure her son didn’t come in.
“Hey there….yes he is here and he is taking me home….I know it’s great….our plan is still in full force….so I will call you later when I get home cause it is about time that we step up our plan to phase two….yes we are ready for that…talk to you later…Bye.” She hung up the phone and she stood there watching the door waiting for Carl to show up.
