Sonnet
The sun shines mightily down to the earth
Its rays reflecting upon your round face
The angels rejoiced when they saw your birth
A handsome being and so full of grace
I lie awake and think only of you
Of how your love flows over me like rain
A day without will turn my heartstrings blue
Until I can glance your physique again
Could I ever love you more right now, dear?
With your eyes so bright and your smile broad
A call of life from you I always hear
Concerning love you are my lightning rod
As long as the sun shines I will love thee
And until the end of time I will be
