Falling in love with you
I look into your eyes
And wonder where you’ve been
The lies you keep on telling me
Never seem to end
You told me that you loved me
You told me you’d be true
And foolishly I believed in them
Foolishly I believed in you
All I’ve got to show for it
Is this broken heart,
As I watch you walk away,
I start to fall apart,
I start to wonder why,
Why I fell in love with you,
For now it all seems so silly
As I sit here feeling blue,
The tears they start to fall
Down my rosy cheeks,
I know they won’t stop falling
Least not for a couple of weeks
Now my heart is breaking
For I had always been true,
But I guess that’s what I get
For falling in love with you.
