The high school revenge

Noah couldn’t believe she\'s sleeping peacefully in his arms, her face looked beautiful under the moon light, some strands of her hair fell across it and Noah gently put them back behind her ears. The last thing she told him before she drifted off to sleep was \"I love you\"
oh god, how can I be so blind, she was there all along , ever since we were kids and I never noticed how she felt about me. Noah thought. What they just shared was the best thing he ever experienced, it was so special.

Noah kissed her forehead and slowly she opened her eyes, they were really dark filled with love and desire, he felt exactly the same \"I can’t be falling in love with her\" Noah told himself, then Nedia kissed him lightly on his lips \"okay I am falling in love with her\"

\"Hi” she said smiling

\"Hi\" Noah smiled back at her.

She looked at him for a while then said \"I can’t believe I slept”

\"Its okay honey.\" Noah answered getting her dress from the floor \"it’s getting late and cold get dressed and I\'ll take you home.”

Noah stood up and got dressed quickly and watched her do the same.

\"Is there something wrong?” Nedia asked suspiciously.

\"no baby, I just don’t want you catching a cold or something.” Noah was really confused he never fell in love before , he had some crushs over the past few years but never felt these feelings, realizing how much he cared for her made him think about the possibilities, they r both leaving for collage in few weeks , what will happen then?

\"Let’s go\" they got into the car and Noah drove as fast as he could. He wanted to be alone for a while and think.

\"Okay we’re here\" he said as he parked in front of her house. She looked at him wondering what\'s wrong with him he could see the question in her eyes.

\"Common I\'ll walk you to the door\" he stepped out of the car and opened the door for her, he turned to walk but Nedia\'s hand stopped him she pulled him to face her

\"Wait Noah, there’s something wrong with you. I know it, you haven’t spoken a work since we left 30 minutes ago, what is it?\" she sounded as if she was about to cry.

\"Nothing, oh Nedia....\" Noah pulled her into his arms \"Nedia you have to know something, I m starting to feel things I never felt before. Y....you\'ve to realize I have never fell in love before.......until now.\" god I said it, Noah sighted.

\"Yo....you what?\" she looked surprised and there was something else he couldn’t understand.

\"oh, Nedia I m falling in love with you and if you want the truth it scares me, I m new to all of this, I need time to think, I know I\'ve had a lot of girlfriends before and went out with alot of girls but I never felt anything like this, it was just stupid crushs, you have to believe me. And when I say I need time that doesn’t mean time to be sure, no I just want to know those new feeling well but then...\" Nedia\'s eyes were full with tears \" god just thinking i m the reason these tears are there make me sure I love you and I never want to hurt you........ If I spent the next 100 years thinking I’ll end up with the same conclusion Nedia, I want you in my life.\"

Nedia wasn’t able to hold of the tears and when she heard his last words, a wonderful smile light up her face.

\"Noah I don’t know what to say.\" She talked while looking into his eyes.

\"then don’t, get in now and sleep well, I’ll call you first thing in the morning” he kissed her forehead and she silently walked away and entered the house.

Noah drove home without concentrating on the road, his mind was busy thinking about what just happened, he just told Nedia he loved her, its true but he s scared, he really is scared.

The moment Noah entered his room the phone rang.

\"Hello\" he answered, he wanted it to be Tom, Noah wanted to talk to his friend he needed someone to tell him everything will be fine with Nedia. But it wasn’t Tom, its Jessy.

\"Hey\"

\"Hi Jessy, is there something wrong??\" he asked wanting to know what she wanted quickly coz he wasn’t in a good mood for Jessy.

\"Noah is that how you say hello to your girlfriend, oh I feel bad.\"

\"Jessy, you know we are no longer together, so please say what you want to say quickly.\"

\"Well Noah I disagree with you” Jessy said laughing, oh this is not good.

\"What do you mean?\" Noah asked.

\"Oh, Noah I know about your date with this Nedia, but you see I m not angry even though I can kill her right now but I think it was useful, I mean you seeing someone else for a change. But then at the end you\'ll come back to me.\"

\"No Jessy, we r over okay even if Nedia wasn’t here, we are done.”

\"Oh, honey we are not, I promise you we r not\"

“Don’t be so sure\"

\"Well, meet me tomorrow morning and we\'ll see.\" Jessy hung up the second she said her last word.

Okay, I’ll meet you tomorrow Jessy, but only to tell you face to face that it’s really over. Noah murmured.

Noah woke up the next day early, got dressed and went downstairs.

\"Hey, good morning. Your up early\" came his mom\'s voice from the kitchen.

\"Yeah...\" Noah walked to where his mom was standing preparing breakfast\"... hi mom\'\' he sat in front of her watching her.

\"So.....how was your date last night?\" asked his mom.

Well, why is she asking that never happened before.

\"It went great, why are you asking?\"

\"Ah okay, you didn’t go out with Tom and it defiantly wasn’t Jessy coz she called more than 10 times, by the way she called 10 min. ago she said she s waiting for you at her house.\"

\"Well mom you were right, I didn’t go out with Jessy or Tom I went out with Nedia Adams.\" Noah said while getting up ready to leave.

\"Wait, isn’t she Lisa Adam\'s daughter?? they are nice people, but I heard her mother say more than once that she is shy and quite , how did you talk her into going out with you??\" asked his mom curiously.

\"sorry mom you had only one question, I\'ve to go now, bye\" Noah left the room laughing, he could hear his mom saying\" wait, Noah ...\"

“oh she\'ll make me confess everything I know\" Noah laughed again.

He parked in front of Jessy \'s house , he knew what he was going to tell Jessy , he got out and rang the bell thinking\" I hope this will be over soon.\"

\"Hey Noah, come on in\'\' said Jessy\'s father MR. Johns

\"thanks, but could you just tell Jessy I m waiting for her in my car.” answered Noah and turned to go back to his car.

5 minutes later Jessy was in the car trying to kiss him.

\"hey ...\" Noah backed off immediately\"...stop it Jessy I didn’t come here today for this I came to tell you one thing , I love Nedia and she feels the same way about me, Jessy you don’t really love me . I m sure someday you\'ll fall in love with someone else.\" Noah was trying to convince her.

\"Oh Noah you’re so sweet...” she laughed harshly” ... but I don’t think so, I have something to tell you.\"

\"I m pregnant Noah!”

\" its your child off course, now you have two options; you can stay with me and be with your child ...or....you can leave ,go to this Nedia, but I promise you , you\'ll never see your child if you do\"

Noah felt as if someone has emptied a bottle of cold water over his head.

\"I beg your pardon?\" Noah’s voice was as cold as ice “pre...pregnant? H...how can that happen?? Tell me, I don’t even remember the last time we slept together.\" now he was angry .really angry.

\"I don’t know , I guess I just stopped taking my pills 2 months ago and I forgot to tell you.\" she answered talking coldly as if they were discussing the weather .\" Noah honey, I love you and I m sure you feel the same deep down. I can’t let this thing take you away from me, you don’t love her Noah, and I know that.\" Noah just shook his head; he wasn’t able to say anything.

That made Jessy angry “you know what Noah, it’s your choice now. Call me when you make up your mind.\" she slammed the door behind her real hard and ran back to her house.

She’s angry?? I m the one who is suppose to be angry, she just turned my life upside down and she’s angry?? Ohhhh, what am I going to do? She’s making me choose between my life, career, Nedia or my child! Noah felt his world fall apart.

He drove back home, called Tom on his way and asked him to meet him there.

\"What is it man I came as fast as I could?? You sounded strange on the phone.\" Tom said as he walked into the room.

\"Jessy is pregnant.\" Noah said without any introductions.

\"WHAT??\"

\"she got pregnant about a month ago,” Noah laughed harshly \"she said she stopped taking her pills and forgot to tell me.\"

\"Forgot??\" Tom shouted \"what do you mean she forgot? It’s not easy to forget something like that.\"

\"Well, its worse. She said if I want to be with my child I should go back to her and if not, she\'ll take him away and I won’t be able to see him, ever.\"

\"The evil bitch, she knows you’re leaving for collage, how can she do something like that?\"

\"I donno Tom, I donno what to do.\" Noah was frustrated.

\"Well can’t you ask her for abortion or adoption you know something like that?\"

\"Do you think she\'ll agree, off course not. It’s her only weapon; she\'ll use it even if she doesn’t want the baby.\" Noah was pacing the place thinking about a solution, and then he stopped in the middle of the room and turned to look at his friend \"Tom I want to do the right thing, but I don’t want to leave Nedia, I want to be with her not with Jessy.\"

\"Nedia?? You only went out once with her “Tom said

\"Well, I think I had feelings for her for so long I just didn’t know it.\" Noah admitted.

\"Ahh, this is really complicated.\"

\"I know. I have to choose between my future and my child.\"

\"look why don’t you marry her and leave for collage, you can come home for holidays and stuff to be with your child, just convince Jessy, tell her you still feel for her but you have to leave for collage and 3 or 4 years later, after your child is older, you can get divorce and fight for the child\'s custody or something like that.\" Tom suggested.

\"Oh, let’s say I agreed on this, even though I think it’s impossible, do you think Jessy will agree?\"

\"Just try; it’s your only hope.\" Tom said hopefully.


Off course Jessy didn’t agree and Noah got really depressed. He spent over a week in his room, thinking about a way out .he wanted to go to collage, he wanted to be with Nedia, he wanted alot of things but Jessy destroyed all his dreams... she swore the last time he talked to her she’ll take the child away and he wont be able to find here anywhere. Jessy knew Noah was a good guy and she knew he won’t give up on his child, she played it right.

Tom visited Noah 5 days later.

“Noah, you can’t stay like that you know.” Tom said, but Noah didn’t answer, he was too tired to argue with anyone, even his parents, they found out about Jessy and tried to talk to Noah but he refused to talk to anybody. He tried to call Nedia more than 20 times but each time he put the phone back, he didn’t know what to say and he was scared Nedia wouldn’t understand...

“Okay Noah, if you don’t want to talk, I came to tell you one thing.” Tom said.

“Nedia is leaving town today.” The second Tom said that Noah got up like a mad man.

“What? Leaving? She is suppose to leave at the end of the summer not now, how did you know?” asked Noah while getting dressed.

“My sister is Jenna’s friend, you know Jenna, Nedia’s sister. I heard them talking on the phone today.” Tom had to raise his voice at the end coz Noah was already down stairs getting out of the house.

Noah reached her house in no time; he drove as fast as he can. I don’t want to lose her. He thought.

He got out of the car running to the door, he rang the bell and waited. No one answered, he started knocking hard on the door, but it seems that no one s inside.

Noah felt a terrible ache in his heart, “she left” Noah said sitting down on the floor, Putting his head in his hands.

Noah couldn’t remember how long he sat there doing nothing until he heard a car park in front of the house.

Noah saw MR. and MRS Adams walking towards him followed by Jenna.

“MR Adams, MRS Adams” he greeted them then stopped Jenna.

“Jenna where is Nedia?”

“She left Noah.” Jenna said sadly.

“Why? She wasn’t suppose to leave now”

“She only decided to go 3 days ago, I donno what happened Noah but she was so sad she cried a lot and no one knew why. All she said was “I wanted to leave as soon as possible.” And packed only the things she needed, mom is going to send her the rest of her stuff later.” She looked at him for a second then asked “what happened between you too Noah?”

“Nothing happened Jenna, nothing. Can you atleast please give me her number?” Noah begged.

“No Noah I cant, she made me promise not to tell anyone anything about her, e…especially you Noah!”

“I see……, okay Jenna thanks.”

Two months later Noah married Jessy at the town’s church; it was one of the worst days of his life. But for Jessy, she got what she wanted.


Noah got out of bed, he has to go to Nedia’s house now and confront her, I\'m not losing her twice.

“Nedia, I don’t know what to say, honey I m so sorry.” Kate hugged her and Nedia started crying again.

“Oh Kate, I just couldn’t do it. Seeing Noah again brought back all the feelings I had for him, I still love him.”

“I know honey but you did the right thing, you are not a bad person, you wouldn’t have done it in a million years. I know it.” Kate said putting her hand on Nedia’s arm. “You wouldn’t have taken revenge, it’s not like you.”

“I just thought I c……’’ Nedia was interrupted by the door bell.

“Wait here; I’ll go see who it is.” Kate got up and left the room.

Nedia wasn’t able to hear the voice of the other person; she could only hear Kate’s answers.

“Yeah, she does who’s asking??”

There was an answer but she couldn’t hear it.

“Ah, oh wait here please.”

Nedia heard Kate’s footsteps and the door flew open, Kate just stood there looking as if she was about to pass out or something.

“What is it Kate??” Nedia asked quickly.

“N.….Nedia, Th….there’s someone outside he said, h...his name is……Noah, Noah Mathew.”
