She smiled at me, fangs, I swear I saw fangs but I wouldn’t show any sign of
what I saw.

kissed the back of it, “The pleasure is mine Lady Avarice.” I replied, looking
into her bright green eyes.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> Her skin was like ice against mine
and I pulled away as soon as I could without making it look like I was avoiding
her. Her smile was malicious, ulterior
motives sat behind her gaze, but I didn’t know what it was, I didn’t know what
she wanted.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Come, walk with me.” She said,
motioning for me to come with her.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I didn’t want to but protocol left
me with no choice. I offered her my arm
and together we began to walk. Empty
conversation followed until she led me into an alleyway.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I didn’t understand, I didn’t want to be
with her, how was it that she had managed to get me here?style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Something inside me panicked and I tried to
pull my arm away, her grip was like iron.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Where do you think you’re going
Cain?” She asked, her voice a low purr.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “I’m sorry my lady but I should be
getting back.” I said, trying to make an excuse.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> She seemed to see through me and
pulled me to her. I tried to get away
but she wound her fingers through my hair, “You know Cain?style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I’ve been watching you for a long time and I
have decided that I’m going to make you my pet.” She purred into my ear.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I tried to jerk back but she held me fast,
“You’ll enjoy this.” With that she sank her teeth deep into my throat.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I shuddered as my first taste of the
pleasure she could bestow shot through my body. A low moan escaped my lips, my eyes fluttering closed.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I could feel my body begin to weaken and I
didn’t care. I wanted more of the sweet
pleasure she could give. I went limp in
her arms and she kept going, I could feel my heart begin to slow and I didn’t
care. When she pulled away I whimpered,
I didn’t want it to stop.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Hush Cain, I’ll give you something
sweet, something that will fill you up with warmth.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> My eyes were half closed so I
couldn’t see her but when I felt the hot press against my lips I found myself
reaching up and clutching at her wrist, holding the gaping wound to my
lips. I drank; I pulled her tight to me
and drank. It felt like fire through my
veins, my body ached but I couldn’t stop.
Suddenly she jerked her wrist away.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “No more pet.” She sneered, no
longer calling me by my name. I was
nothing to her now, “You’re mine now and soon you will feel pain.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> She dropped me to the ground and I
curled in on myself, my body was on fire, pain shot through me.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> It hurt, I felt like I was caving in on
myself. I was dying, I had to be.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I shook uncontrollably, spasms shooting
through my prone form. Suddenly I went
limp, my body shuddering.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Good boy.” She whispered, stroking
my hair before easily picking me up, “Sleep.”

I shook my
head, I didn’t want to, but there was something about the way she said it,
something in the way her voice flowed that made me want to obey.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I closed my eyes and fell against her
shoulder, sinking into the dark abyss of immortal sleep for the first time in
my long life.
