Unknown territory: Chapter 6 Part: 2
By midnight I was ready to go home. But someone in the unseelie court called a duel against someone in unseelie courts. Their reasoning behind it was to settle a problem due to a fae who was using magic to a tempt a human to like her. The fae\'s cousin thought it unruly, and according to the council it was forbidden anyways. The duel was a battle to the death, and there was to be no way to surrender.
We all walked to the back of the ball room down some stairs that led outside to an arena. There was benches lined up all around it. They looked fairly old, but elegant and they looked like they had been here forever.
The arena was huge probably the size of a base ball field. Probably because no one wanted to get in the crossfire of the duel.
I followed my mom as we sat on a bench with Yeiri, Anraiya, and Clairissa. The councilmen for the unseelie court stood in the middle of the arena as the two fae stood on either side. "The rules are as followed: no guns, no foul play, anything else is allowed. Any help from a person not in the duel is imprisonment for foul play. The duel is to the death, and for Firah, the fae who tempted the human if you shall win the punishment for your actions is imprisonment. Trying to tempt a human by magic is foul play and it is forbidden... And to jude, the fae who rightfully knows what she is doing, may the goddess be with you..."
The councilmen\'s flash step wasn\'t like someone in seelie courts where he just disappeared. His flash step was more like he faded out, and he reappeared on the grass.
As he took his seat a blue light appeared at the edge of the arena. I had a feeling that it was more to keep them in the arena than to keep people out. Below the blue light near the edge of the arena where the grass and the cement met there was blue lightening that was crackling.
And as I looked up Jude manifested a shuriken and threw it slitting Firahs arm. As it kept going right towards me I thought it was going to hit me, but as it hit the blue light it disintegrated. Firahs arm started bleeding as she paid no mind to it. She produced a electric plasma ball of energy throwing it at Jude. She put up a barrier manifesting a sword as she dodged the electric plasma ball of energy. She ran forward throwing a dagger as Firah rolled out of the way. She manifested an axe as their weapons clashed she pushed her backwards making Jude almost trip over her own feet. Firah swung her axe horizontally across Jude\'s stomach slicing her open. Blood poured out of the wound as Jude tried to heal it with magic. Firah threw her axe at Jude as she put up a barrier to block it at the last possible second. The axe was deflected as it struck a patch of grass inside the arena. A mist spread from Jude throughout the arena and it looked toxic and full of noxious particles. The whole arena got foggy and there seemed to be swords clashing throughout the arena from the two woman. The mist dissipated moments later and by this time Firah was kneeling coughing up blood. Jude knocked a mace out of her hand; and as she was about to stab her Firah pressed two fingers to her chest and a lightening bolt fired out of Jude\'s back. This threw her halfway across the field and as Jude laid there unconscious Firah fell to her knees coughing up blood all over herself. Jude struggled to stand on her feet so she manifested a sword to help her. She stuck the sword in the ground as she leaned over it a huge gaping hole between her breast. Her shirt was torn to shreds black from the shot of lightening that singed it as blood ran down her as the hole slowly healed itself. Red tattoos appeared all over Firah\'s body as she could barely move.
"What did do to me bitch?" Firah screamed in agonizing pain.
"Don\'t worry you won\'t suffer..." She coughed interupting herself, "much." She raised her hand and brought it down in front of her. She hit the ground with her fist as the tattoos flashed from red to black and Firah just disintegrated into black particles that looked like burnt paper after it burned way past the point of return...
