Ginger

Okay, this is one of the poems that can confuse people. In the poem I mention it is a dedication. It is dedicated to a woman I absolutely love. For those who need it blunt, yes I am bisexual. I will not release her name here, as I hate it when people harrass others, especially when I accidentally allowed it to happen. I do not know her as the poem may suggest. The poem is based on a dream, not real life. For those who haven't seen SOuth Park and have never heard the term, a Ginger is somebody who has pale skin, green eyes, red hair, and usually freckles, however they do have souls, and are not evil....though Ginger might be... I began calling her Ginger, simply because she is one. But this poem is short because once again, class requirements made me cut the other lines out...something about Poem-porn not being decent in a school setting...for those who automatically homed in on that word, no I will not post a full version. Poem is art for me, not a masturbation tool.

“Ginger”

Beautiful as the desert sky,
Her laughter rings of bells so high.
The redness of her hair shines bright,
Calls to me like a beacon light.

I see her and my heart beats fast,
Hoping every moment lasts.
The emerald in her eyes divine,
I’m hoping that she’ll say she’s mine.

I think of her and she of me,
How we both love differently,
I take her hand and she takes mine,
And thus it ends, dedication rhyme.
