One Too Many Mistakes

OKAY! a new chapter! Everything is going so inconsistently right now, and I apologize for that. But in my defense some weeks I have a crap load of homework and I can’t write a word and sometimes I have way too much time and I write a bunch. SO, here’s the new chapter, PLEASE REVIEW! Thanks!!!

Mixelle: I'm so glad you like! hopefully you'll enjoy this chapter too!! keep telling me what you think, i wicked appreciate it! im glad you like the plot twists too! i'm working hard on keeping the story interesting! thanks again!

Dee: Your reviews are amazing. I ment to add more description in this chapter, build the minor characters and setting in such, but i just felt like there was so much going on in this chapter, it's already 8 pages >.< lol, i will work on it though, i still feel like everything is 2 dimenional like you pointed out before. Thanks again for your amazing reviews!! i love them!

draken: Hehe, Jason's a mystery! he's such a complicated character and im doing a horrible job of portraying that, but part of his complications is that he doesn't understand most of himself to begin with... that'll come out in the next few chapters... hopefully. lol. im so glad you like the story so far!!! please keep reading and reviewing! i appreciate it so so so much!

orbiting jupiter: thank you! I'm trying to make my characters more relatable just so readers can understand them like i do, but it's really hard to do with jason because i want him to be sort of distant. *le sigh*, but im really glad you like them! please keep reading!!!! :)

Jess: I'm trying to update as soon as i can, but my schedule is so crazy >.< lol, i haven't even started the next chapter yet though, it's hard to think of how to make the intro to the next one flow with how i've ended this one. thanks again for reviewing!!!! pleaaase keep it up! lol

Thanks billions to TUCKER AGAIN!!

Felix blinked a few times, unable to form coherent thoughts.

“M-morphine?” He asked timidly, he’d never really known much about drugs, or talked to anyone who did them before. The story of what Eddie told Felix earlier in the year came back in a flood of panic.

Jason nodded miserably. “I-It’s a long story… but… basically… um” There was a long pause “… yeah, I can’t talk about this Felix…” Jason stated remorsefully. He looked up to see what Felix would say, his silver eyes meeting the concerned amber ones of the small boy across from him.

Felix let out a small gasp when he met Jason’s eyes. The other boy had been crying! Felix immediately scooted closer to Jason, and wiped away the lone tear with the pad of his thumb.

“You don’t have to tell me anything, Jason.” The smaller assured. “Just know that I care about you no matter what, okay?”

Jason forced out a smile and nodded, “Thank you, ‘Lix. That actually means a lot to me.” He added sincerely.

When Jason smiled, Felix wanted to wince. It wasn’t like his other smile that Jason adorned every so often, it wasn’t free or careless, or strong. It was pained and it broke Felix’s heart.

The petite one backed back up against the pillow and lifted the covers of his bed to shimmy his lithe body beneath the sheets.

“Come on, Jase! Get comfy!” Felix giggled and turned town the comforter so Jason could join. The boy didn’t know if Jason actually would or not, knowing how he hated physical contact, but Felix had a feeling that Jason needed it tonight.

Jason let out a heavy sigh and swung his feet over the edge of the bed so they were on the cold wood floor. Felix felt deflated, he wanted to be there for Jason tonight, he wanted to hold Jason and console him. It was probably the most selfless thing Felix had ever felt.

Jason sat like that for a moment, seemingly to be debating something before he toed off his shoes and then removed his simple black leather belt. He stood up and turned to face the bed.

“ I warn you, I’ve been known to drool in my sleep.” Jason said with a smile in his voice.

Felix’s entire face lit up and his stomach did a flip. He giggled softly a Jason’s comment and shifted a bit to make more room for the more muscular boy.

“Um….” Jason’s features flushed slightly, barely noticeable in the dark lighting. Felix panicked assuming Jason had changed his mind. He was about ready to bring the sheets back up before Jason continued “would it bother you if I slept in my boxers?” he asked, and Felix thought he was going to die. Not only was Jason sleeping in his bed with him, but with only boxers on! This was the most amazing night of his life.

“N-no… that’s fine” the boy stuttered, his mind still filled happy thoughts which quickly transformed into dirty images of Jason on top of him, nipping his neck and rubbing their bare chests together in ecstasy. He pushed them away, reminding himself that he was supposed to be consoling Jason. Right, consoling… not caressing. Damn his mind.

“Yeah, I mean… that’s more than okay… I mean… I probably will too.” He said, his face burning up when he realized how dumb he sounded.

Jason merely nodded, eyeing Felix strangely. “Cool.” He said simply before his arms crisscrossed his stomach to grab the hem of his shirt and pull it up over his head. Slowly. Very slowly, Felix noted. If the boy weren’t so caught up in ogling the perfectly toned chest ,(not too muscular, not too thin), he would have wondered if Jason was doing it on purpose.

Finally the article of clothing was removed and Felix was forced to snap out of his daze. He did the same with his own shirt, discarding it off into a corner somewhere, and proceeded to wriggle out of his jeans, soon tossing them off in to someplace as well.

Jason almost had to literally slap himself as Felix’s perfectly slender body moved around beneath the sheets. His pale white skin moving like liquid, teasing Jason to no end. He could tell already that the night was going to be torture.

Jason sat back down on the bed where the sheets were turned down, his back facing Felix. Slowly he turned and lifted his legs, moving them beneath the sheets and shifting closer to Felix.

Felix then pulled up the sheets around both of them, and kissed Jason’s cheek “Good night, Jase.” He said softly “I’ll see you in the morning.” Jason turned slightly to kiss the top of Felix’s head “ ‘Night, kid” he said endearingly, before turning on his other side, back to Felix.

Felix was a bit upset he couldn’t cuddle with Jason, but this night had been a great improvement. He was actually quite shocked that Jason had said yes to staying the night with him. With that happy thought in mind, the boy fell asleep quickly, Jason following moments after into a deep sleep.

---

Jason yawned groggily as his body slowly woke up, confused by his unusual position. He never slept on his back. He blinked open his eyes a few times, looking down at his chest to see a head of ebony hair on his chest. Jason smiled softly, noticing that his own arm was around the slender waist, holding Felix close to him. He could definitely get used to this. Not that he’d ever tell Felix that.

Felix had been awake for awhile before Jason awoke. He had been expecting Jason to freak out, and when he heard Jason yawn and stir into consciousness he was preparing himself to get scolded. Instead, he was pleasantly surprised to find Jason’s toned arm tighten around his waist, pulling their bodies closer together.

Felix smiled wide and twisted his body around and laid on Jason’s stomach, his arms crossed across the other boy’s chest so his chin could rest on them. “Morning, Sunshine!” the small one giggled.

In return he got a wide grin from Jason, whose arms came around to encircle Felix’s small back, his left hand rubbing Felix’s soft skin on the small of his back.

The two stayed like that, in complete contentment to be in each others company. Soon they were drifting back off into sleep, the warm blankets welcoming, especially to the sound of rain pounding the windows from outside, and the wind howling.

Just as the Felix curled up again, his cold nose in the crook of Jason’s neck, a blaring noise came from the end table, both boys jumping, Jason cursing loudly as the alarm clock screamed.

“Fuck, I forgot it was a Thursday.” He sighed, his heavy palm coming up to rub his eyes. “We should get going then, huh?” he asked rhetorically, nudging Felix slightly.

“Noooo… let’s skip today, Jase. We never skip.” He moved slightly so his face was just above Jason’s their noses inches apart.

Jason was about to reject the comment. He had a physics test today, and couldn’t miss it. Unfortunately, as Felix moved above him, Jason’s mind went blank. He’d never seen Felix so close, and it was startling. The small boy’s skin was white, his dark hair framing his features perfectly. But it was Felix’s eyes that caught Jason off guard the most. He’d never noticed how innocent they were. Jason had always thought of Felix as immature, but now he stood corrected. And those amber eyes were pleading him, weren’t they? Asking Jason to skip just one day, promising more peace and enjoyment than the school could ever pretend.

Slowly he nodded, unable to deny the perfect creature above him. Felix squealed in delight, kissing Jason’s cheek tenderly and giggling. His face lingered a moment above Jason’s, their faces so close they could feel each other’s breath. But Felix rolled off to the side and pulled the blankets up around him.

“Jason, come keep me warm!” he heard the brunette chuckle lightly before he moved his body so his chest was flush with Felix’s back. His toned arm encircled Felix and nuzzled his neck. Not that Jason would ever use that word.

Felix giggled and pulled the arm tighter around his midsection, moving his head slightly, hoping Jason would nuzzle his neck again, it was definitely Felix’s weak spot.

The two drifted back off into sleep, finally awaking when the crows started to caw around eleven. Jason yawned wide and pulled away to stretch his back and arms, Felix turned his head slightly to watch Jason’s muscles across his stomach.

“Do you work out, Jase?” he asked suddenly. He’d never seen Jason do any sort of physical labor, but he was clearly well-built.

Jason chuckled again and shook his head. “No, but I work at a concrete company every summer, and every winter I usually work at this tree farm not too far from my house where I chop down Christmas trees for people.”

Felix nodded. “So what are we up to for today?” he asked, following Jason’s example and stretching out.

Jason was about to answer with something regarding food, but when Felix contorted his body to stretch; all the brunette could do was watch in awe. He moved like a cat, his hands opening and closing like a kitten reaching out its soft paws, he could practically hear him purring and his mouth opened wide to yawn.

He snapped out of his trance, not wanting to continue the metaphor of Felix’s beauty in his mind anymore. “Food?” He asked coherently, his mind still not recovering from the shock.

“PANCAKES!” Felix squealed. “Let’s make pancakes together this morning, Jason, wouldn’t that be awesome?!”

Jason just nodded. “Sure, but um… my cooking skills are severely lacking.” He stated a bit bashfully.

“It’s okay, don’t worry, I’m the master at cooking!” Felix declared proudly.

“Alright ‘Lix, whatever you say, but seriously don’t put me in charge of anything important.”

"Let's see... what shall I give you to do?" Felix rushed down the stairs, Jason following him and immediately started getting out the ingredients and the bowls and whatever else they were going to need. He turned to Jason and smiled.

"You can mix the dry ingredients." he placed his hands on his hips. "Just follow my words and you'll be fine."

Jason nodded, but found it much easier to follow his lips as opposed to his words. Did he have to look so damn cute with his hands on his hips? "Yeah, hopefully. You really don't know what you're getting yourself into. I can make a big mess" he reddened. not realizing the innuendo till the words had left his lips.

"Well, I'll just have to contain you then…" Felix chuckled a bit and started measuring out everything. "Just put them into the bowl once I level them off, then wait for my next instruction."

'Felix containing me... I could live with that...' he thought to himself, before he mentally smacked himself in the head. Unfortunately he forgot the 'mentally' part and his palm collided with a loud slap to his forehead, his cheeks beginning to blush instantaneously.

Felix laughed loudly as he watched the other. "Don't hurt yourself." he shook his head, leveling off the flour and then set it aside for Jason. He did the same thing with each dry ingredient.

Jason eyed the ingredients warily, as if he'd never seen sugar before, "Um..." he bit his lip "Which bowl do I put it all in?" he asked dumbly, motioning to the two bowls, one a bit larger than the other.

Felix looked at him and pointed to the smaller of the two bowls. "In that one." he said and he finished off another one. "Hurry, I need to use those again."

"Oh, right." Jason began fumbling around with the ingredients, emptying the measuring cups into the bowl, "Sorry, I’m a disaster in the kitchen" he was about to add more before he dropped the cup of flour, the white dust coming up in a cloud, the two boys' ankles now a soft white. "Fuck! I’m wicked sorry, I'll clean that..." he hurried his way to the sink, blushing terribly, muttering something about always having been a klutz.

Felix coughed a bit, trying to hide a laugh. He ran his foot through the mess and couldn't help but laugh. "Oh, don’t worry about it. If you're gonna make more messes, just leave it till we’re finished. We can’t stop every time. Get your ass over here." he pointed to the floor, still smiling from the incident.

"Well... if you're just going to laugh at me..." suddenly a huge grin appeared on Jason's features as he turned on the faucet and threw a handful of water at Felix, getting his chest wet and drippy.

"Ah! You made me wet..." Felix pouted and ran his hand down his chest making Jason practically drool. Maybe throwing water at him wasn’t the best idea. Felix giggled a bit at what he said and just grabbed a towel to wipe the water off.

"Oh, trust me, i can definitly make you more wet that that" he chuckled moving closer to Felix with a horrible glint in his eyes.

Felix rose an eyebrow at that and laughed. "Can you now? And what ways are you going to make me more wet?" he smirked.

"Well..." Jason got close, so close their chests were almost touching and Jason could feel the heat radiating off of Felix's perfectly sculpted body. "Something like this..." he whispered sexily in to Felix's ear before he suddenly pulled a wet dishrag from behind his back, and wrung it out over Felix's head, drenching him.

Felix swallowed before he could let out a moan from the tone of his voice. "You fucker!" he laughed when the water was wrung out. He hugged him briefly to get him wet a bit. The hen pushed him away and grabbed the bowl of sugar and other dry ingredients and dumped it on the other so it stuck to Jason’s body. But it only served to torture Felix as the powder clung to Jason’s toned chest, accentuating his physical perfection.

"You did not just do that to me, Felix Hegnauer!" he quickly went to a drawer and pulled out a spoon, putting some of the goopy substance that had been created on his chest on it and flung it at Felix. It landed just above Felix's belly button, and Jason froze, his mouth open. The white, thick substance looked like only one thing when it was on Felix's pristine skin.... cum. Jason's face reddened intolerably when he saw it, and hoped Felix wouldn't be mad... or better yet, hoped the boy wouldn't even make the connection.

Felix stopped laughing when he noticed Jason’s expression had changed, and he looked down to see what had been done. He immediately bit his lip. God, that was hysterical. And now the substance was dripping down in to his navel, about to reach the waistband of his boxers. “Hey, Jase, you have to come help clean up the mess you made.” He smiled, causing Jason’s face to redden more, if that was even possible.

Jason diligently grabbed a sponge from the sink and ran it under warm water before he brought it to Felix and handed him the sponge.

“Noooooooooo, Jason! You made the mess! Not me!” Jason looked confused, but never the less he brought the sponge to Felix’s small tummy and caught the bottom of the drip just before it hit the cloth of Felix’s boxers, and then slowly moved the sponge up to above the boy’s navel.

Felix bit his bottom lip, instantly regretting the suggestion. The sponge was warm on his skin and left a cold trail. Jason’s body was close and he could feel the heat of him, it was pure anguish. It wasn’t fair for Jason to have this kind of control over him. Felix had never experienced anything like his attraction to Jason before. Felix was always the one making boys drool, not that he paid attention to that, but he never had to work to get people to notice him, and here he was, practically drooling as Jason sponged him down.

Jason finally stepped back. “Sorry about that…” he stated, clearly embarrassed.

“It’s okay, I just won’t talk to you for like two years and I’ll start ordering the really expensive stuff when we go out to ice cream.” He smiled, trying to shift the subject a bit.

“You wouldn’t do that to me!” Jason quickly realized that the situation had made Felix uncomfortable too, and was happy for a mood change.

“Oh wouldn’t I? I mean… you’ve hardly repaid your debt!” his devious smile only grew.

“Debt?! I wasn’t in debt! I made a mistake!” he stepped towards Felix again and then put on the best puppy dog eyes Felix had ever seen. He would have never thought it in Jason’s nature to make them, but his silver eyes became wide and pleading, and there was no way he could deny them.

“Okay, fine, I’ll make your retribution easy then.” He said begrudgingly and put his hands back on his hips in a matter of fact way. “You just have to give me a big hug!” he said triumphantly.

Jason hesitated, shifting his weight slightly. Felix immediately panicked, he might be pushing Jason too much. But once again, the boy surprised him.

“Alright, I think I can do that.” He stated after a moments pause and came close to Felix and then another step so their chests were touching. Jason hesitantly wrapped his arms around Felix’s tiny midsection, and held him tightly.

Felix’s arms immediately came to wrap around Jason’s broad shoulders, his nose once again nuzzling into Jason’s warm neck, feeling his pulse. He didn’t even care about how dirty they both were from their cooking disaster, it just felt so right to be in Jason’s arms. And he knew that Jason had to be feeling the same thing, because he was sure as hell holding on tight to the kid and wasn’t letting go anytime soon.

For Jason, it was a rare moment when all of a sudden he was struck with the feeling that he was miraculously at the exact place and doing the exact thing he should be. That feeling scared him so much; he couldn’t handle emotions like that. He slowly pulled away and kissed Felix’s temple. If he’d thought about it before he did it, he would have never done that small act of caring, but it just… came out of him.

Felix smiled and his body was practically beaming and he soon began giggling which turned into laughter, the moment was just too perfect.

“What are you laughing at, anyways?” Jason asked with a smile.

“I can just see us being one of those couples who gets into pretend fights just so we can kiss after.” He laughed for a few more seconds before he froze. Had he seriously just said that to Jason? He opened his from laughing and looked at Jason.

His body was still, his mouth slightly open and his grey eyes filled with a little bit of shock and a lot of fear.

“J-Jase? I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to say that out loud… I’m sorry, Jason, please listen to me…” he pleaded, already facing Jason’s back as he scurried upstairs.

“Jason, please!” he called after him from the base of the stairs. The only response he got was a slamming of Jason’s door.

Tears began to fall down Felix’s face, he was standing there, one hand on the banister of the stairs, in his dumb purple boxers with stupid powder all over his freaking body. He hadn’t even showered and he smelled like sleep and he didn’t even want to imagine what his hair looked like. Needless to say he felt like an idiot. The morning had gone so well and perfect, and Felix had fucked it up. Jason had even laughed! That was a first. And it was a perfect laugh too; full and hearty, relaxed. He imagined that that was Jason’s real personality.

He decided he would make the pancakes anyways, after he cleaned up the mess, and offer them to Jason as a sort of apology.

--

Fourty five minutes later, the kitchen was immaculate and the pancakes were done, even having a whipped cream smiley face on the top of the stack, just to show Jason that he was extra sorry.

He carefully made his way up the stairs and knocked at Jason’s door. No response. He knocked again. Still no answer. “Jason, are you ignoring me?” Silence. Maybe he was sleeping? Felix turned the knob to the door with his free hand, pushing the door open.

His mouth dropped open, the plate shattered to the floor and Felix's breath was caught in his throat, falling to the floor and shaking.
