Haunted: DL's Story

As dawn streaked the sky glorious colors, promising a beautiful day, I awoke. Our night was over and, much as I wanted to stay, it was time for me to leave.

I softly pressed butterfly kisses down her body, from the tip of her nose to her flat sexy abdomen, as I slipped from her embrace. His arms tightened around her, "Mine!" he murmured, sleepily.

"Yours!"

Loosing his hold on her, he, too, crawled from the bed. He had to drive me back to the bar to get my car. We wrapped her snuggly in the cum-covered fur so she wouldn't get chilled while he was gone. We dressed and left.

As we drove away, I mused over something he'd said when he made his request those weeks ago. He said that I was a dream that haunted her-that she'd wanted me but couldn't have me.

I'd fulfilled the dream I'd been asked and one of my own as well, though he didn't need to know that. Everyone is haunted by something-a lost love; a missed chance; a might have been; an impossibility; etc.-I'd just resolved something that haunted me. Now she'd haunt me in a different way.

Only one chapter to go and it's as short as, if not shorter than, this one. I hate to see it end but, in a way, it isn't ending completely. "Mate's POV" is in progress as it a possible fourth story. Hard to believe this all started as a dream I had one night. That dream became the first chapter of the first story. The rest grew from there. Enjoy.
