chapter seven: escape!
I ran for my life,
With the tiny doll-child under my arm. I could not leave too many whitnesses, but now I felt something, compassion? for the females, I would not kill them now unless they confronted me. As long as the males attacked, though, I could give them little compassion. I jumped through window after window, hopeing to find a way out, raceing through the seemingly endless corrdiors in search of moonlight. I saw stars! stars out a window bout a hundred feet away. the only things between me, the humans, armed and ready, they would try to kill me now I was not under their control. I would kill them all unless they allowed me to escape with my girl.
I don't care who or what they are. with the doll, I have nothing to lose.
