Storm Passing
The storm it hears my prayers
and answers with its might,
the clouds they clap a thunderous roar
and the sky fills with light.
Out of the rain she does appear
arms outstretched and wide,
to share this moment of being one
within this torrential tide.
She stands alone and beckons for me
and the thunder applauds our meeting,
our passionate kisses like never before
our pleasures never fleeting.
The embrace it lingers through the pouring rain
never noticing the sun,
the time will soon be over again
our longing never done.
This storm will pass, retreat its rain
only to find me in sorrow,
I'll wait for the rain to bring her again
begging it for tomorrow.
