Hi!!! Here it is Chapter seven. I didn\'t think it would end up being this long, but it did. so... Like I sai last chapter, a major crime will be committed and some of you might hate me for it. My editor does! (Sorry) Okay, well um... it took me forever to write this chapter \'cause I didn\'t know exactly how It was going to end up but now it\'s here, in black and white and it ain\'t going anywhere. So enjoy the super long, sad, dramatic chapter. (Okay we can erase all that it\'s not that bad.)

Chapter Seven

Louis sat in the main livingroom, a large book in his lap. His blond hair kept falling into his eyes as he read.

\"Louie?\"

\"Yeah.\" the younger vampire asked as he looked up from the book at Mirage.

\"Are you alright?\" He asked as he ran his hand gently up the young vampire\'s back.

\"I\'m fine.\"

The red haired vampire wrapped his arms around Louis and held him. \"you seem upset love, what is it that\'s bothering you?\"

\"I\'ve just beem thinking alot lately.\"

\"About what?\" Mirage asked, running his tongue behind the blonde\'s ear making him shiver.

\"What you told me.\"

\"About me being Khristian\'s sire?\"

\"Yeah.\"

\"Don\'t worry about it, that was along time ago, and besides...\" He held Louis hard against his chest. \"Nothing happened between us.\"

\"You swear?\"

\"Hmmm... I swear.\"

Louis wrapped his arms around the older vampire\'s arms around his waist. \"hold me just like this.\"

He whispered softly.

Mirage nudged the blonde\'s hair out of the way and started sucking on the back of his neck. The younger vampire leaned back into the red head\'s chest, his fangs sinking deep into his bottom lip. \"Aw...babe, you\'re bleeding.\" Mirage whispered as he licked the blood from the blonde\'s lip.

\"I-i\'m not used to my fangs yet.\" Louis said as he looked into Mirage\'s eyes. \"I mean, I\'m used to them being there, I just forget i have them.\"

\"I was the same way.\"

\"What if Khris tries to take me away from you?\"

\"He won\'t.\"

\"But what if he does?!\" Louis shouted as his eyes locked on Mirage\'s. \"I don\'t want to be away from you and I most certainly don\'t wanto to be with him.\"

\"You worry far too much Louie...\"

\"I-\'m just- scared.\"

\"Don\'t be.\"

\"Isn\'t there a way to make sure he can\'t touch me?\" The blond asked as he dropped down on his knees, his eyes still locked on the older vampire\'s.

\"Well -\"

What?\"

\"There is one way, but it\'s too much...\"

\"I don\'t care what I have to do.\" Louis said as he jumped to his feet.

\"A blood oath would be you best bet.\" Mirage said as he tucked his index finger gently under the younger vampire\'s chin.

\"Blood oath?\"

\"It\'s a strong bond between two vampires and one of those vampires gains power over the other.\"

\"I\'ll do it.\" The blond said replyed softly.

\"Are you sure?\"

Without hesitating Louis nodded his head. \"Positive.\"

\"Hold out your left hand.\" Mirage said as he held out his own.

The young vampire nervously placed his hand in Mirage\'s and looked up into his face.

\"Keep still, it\'ll only hurt for a second.\" The blond gasped as Mirage\'s fangs sunk into his wrist.

\"M-Mirage...\"

\"Shh...\" He brought his own wrist to Louis mouth. \"Hurry up and drink.\"

Louis held Mirage\'s wrist and slowly pierced through the older vampire\'s flesh. After a few moments, Louis pulled away and whipped the red haired vampire\'s wrist with the back on this hand.

\"You did a good job Louie, I\'m proud of you.\" Mirage said as he leaned over and kissed Louis\' lips.

\"But-\"

\"What?\"

\"I thought a vampire could die if he drank the blood of the dead?\"

Mirage laughed and pulled the blond into his arms. \"Khristian didn\'t teach you anything did he?\" He asked with a smile. \"We\'re not completly dead, now are we?\"

\"No, I guess not.\"

\"What am I going to do with you?\" The older vampire asked as he caressed the blonde\'s cheek.

\"I love you Mirage...\"

Mirage smiled and walked away from the younger vampire. \"I\'ll be in my room if you need me

okay?\"

\"Wait!\"

\"What now?\"

\"This blood oath we did... how does it work...exactly?\"

\"You offically belong to me now.\" Mirage said as he looked at Louis when he got to the stairs.

\"What do you mean by that?\"

\"I mean, I\'m the one who gains the power over you. Now you can never run away from me.\" Mirage said with a smile.

\"Oh.\"

\"does that bother you?\"

\"No.\" Louis said, returning the smile.

\"Good.\" Mirage disappeared down the stairs.

\'So, Khristian can\'t come near me now?\' He looked down at the mark on his wrist. \'I\'ll be able to be with Mirage forever.\'

A couple weeks had past, Louis was walking home one night after Mirage had left

him in town to get a few things.

\"Where are you going Louie...\" asked a soft voice from behind him.

\"Leave me alone Khris.\" The blonde said as he continued to walk.

\"Why are you so mean with me? What have I ever done to you to make you hate me so much my love?\" The raven haired vampire asked as he walked over to Louis.

\"Just leave me alone.\"

Khristian shook his head and grabbed Louis\' left hand, revealing the fang marks in his wrist. \"Oh, is Louis under a blood oath?\" He asked with a mocking smile. \"I have ways around oaths.\"

\"Why?\"

\"why what?\" Khristian asked as he looked at the blond.

\"Why do you continue to harass me, can\'t you just let me be!?\"

Khristian held Louis against the alley wall. \"I\'ll never let you go, Louie do you understand me? You will belong to me!\"

\"I belong to Mirage, not you.\" the younger vampire said as he looked into Khristian\'s blue eyes.

\"You keep telling yourself that.\"

\"let me go!\" Louis yelled, his hands pressed against the older vampire\'s chest.

\"Stop fighting me Louis.\" Khristian said as he held the blonde\'s hands to his side and kissed

him fully on the lips. \"I don\'t want to hurt you anymore.\"

\"Then let me go.\"

\"I can\'t do that.\" Khristan answered letting go of Louis\' hands. \"And you know why.\"

\"If you love me you\'ll let me go.\" The young vampire said.

\"It doesn\'t work that way.\" Khristian answered with a smile. \"Keep in mind that I always get what I want.\"

\"Except me, you\'ll never have me.\"

\"Don\'t be so up tight.\" The black haired vampire said as he kissed the blond again, this time suprisingly, Louis\' arms wrapped around his neck and kissed him back. \"what are you doing?\"

\"Isn\'t that what you want? Me to give in to you?\"

\"you know it is, but you\'re faking it.\"

\"How could you be so sure?\" Louis asked as his eyes focused on the older vampire\'s.

\"Because it doesn\'t show in your eyes.\" Khristian said. \"I\'ll make you love me Louis, I will.\"

\"I don\'t think so.\" \'Why does he always do this? One of these days I might not be able to resist him.\'

\"In time Louie, you will love me.\" The older vampire said as he turned and walked away.

\'Did I really just kiss him?\' Louis thought as he walked into the livingroom.

\"Hey hon.\" Mirage said as he walked out of the kitchen. \"Are you okay? You seem... I don\'t know- nervous.\"

\"I\'m fine.\"

\"you sure?\" He asked as his arms wrapped around the blonde\'s waist.

\"Really, I\'m fine.\" Louis said as he turned around and kissed the red haired vampire on the lips.

\"You just worry me sometimes.\"

\"Don\'t. I can take care of myself, I don\'t need you to worry about me everytime I go out.\"

Mirage smiled and sat on the couch. \"You are so cute when you\'re serious.\"

\"Leave me alone.\" Louis said with a smile.

\"But you are.\"

\"I am not!\" the blonde said with a smile.

\"Here, i want you to keep this on you at all tmes.\" Mirage said as he reached into his pocket and pulled out a necklace with a small silver dagger on it.

\"What do I need this for?\" Louis asked as he put it around his neck.

\"Just so you\'re safe when you go into town alone.\"

\"Hello. I\'m a vampire, I think I know how to protect myself.\"

\"Stop being so stubborn, I just want to make sure you\'re safe when you\'re not with me.\" Mirage said as he walked back into the kitchen. Louis shook his head and walked into his room.

A few weeks later.

Louis was walking slowly back and forth in Mirage\'s room, the red haired vampire had been gone for a good hour and Louis was beginning to worry. \'He said thirty minutes... damn it, it\'s not like him to be late! Why is he late?\'

\"Aww...is your lover worring you?\"

\"How did you get in here Khristian?\" Louis said without even turning to look at the intruder.

\"Now if that ain\'t love , what is?\" The black haired vampire asked as he leaned up against the door frame.

\"What the hell are you talking about?\"

\"You knew it was me without even looking.\" Khristian said with a smile.

\"I know you\'re voice, it annoys the hell out of me.\"

\"Love you too Louie.\"The older vampire said as he walked over to the blond. \"So where is Mirage?\"

\"Town...\" Louis answered trying not to make eye contact.

\"Louis, look at me.\" Khristian said as he tucked his index finger under the blonde\'s chin.

\"If Mirage find you here...\"

\"What can he possibly do to me?\" The older vampire asked as he looked into Louis\' eyes.

\"Just- please leave...\"

Khristian smiled and kissed Louis\' softly on the lips. \"Don\'t fight me.\" He whispered softly as he looked into the blonde\'s eyes. \"I want to ask you something.\" The younger vampire\'s blue eyes focused on his sire\'s.

\"Go ahead...\"

\"Why do you hate me so much? What have I done to make you hate me the way you do?\"

The blond thought for a second. \"You\'ve done so many things that have hurt me...\"

\"Menatlly, I have never phycially harmed you, I never will.\" The older vampire said as he looked away from the blond.

\"Maybe, but i hate you for what you\'ve done to me.\"

\"Oh Louie, sweet Louie... When will you ever learn? Sometimes you have no control over hurting the people you love, it just happens...\"

The blond broke eye contact with the black haired vampire. \"You told me before that you made me to be your companion... is that really true? Did you only make me so you\'d have someone to play with? as that all I was going to be to you?\"

\"You were more than that Louis, you were my friend, at least I thought you were.\" Khristian said, his emerald green eyes burned into the blonde\'s.

\"Oh really?\"

\"Yes really.\" he answered.

\"I don\'t believe you.\"

\"When I first saw you Louie, I wanted you... I knew I had to make you mine. But, I knew if I turned you I wasn\'t going to be like Mirage, I was going to teach you everything you needed to know .\"

\"Mirage knows that was a mistake and he\'s feels bad for it. He was young and stupid.\"

\"I wasn\'t going to make any mistakes with you. When I was younger, I made stupid mistakes too. I made you to be my consious. That\'s why I needed you and I still need you Louis.\"

The blond looked away for a second then back at his sire.

\"I love you, weither you want to believe it or not, i do.\" Khristian said as he pressed his lips against Louis.

\"Stop...\"

\"Why?\" Khristian asked. \"I know you don\'t hate me... you just don\'t love me.\"

\"Please... leave.\"

\"Not unless you come with me.\" The dark haired vampire said taking Louis\' hand in his. \"I can\'t believe you made the mistake of doing a blood-oath.\"

\"It wasn\'t a mistake, I love Mirage... bottom-line.\"

Khristian looked at Louis and smiled. \"Then why is there fear behind your eyes?\"

\"I am not afraid of him!\"

\"I beg to differ.\" The older vampire said cupping the blonde\'s chin.

\"Well sometimes fear can turn to love .\" Louis said as he looked at Khristian. \"But believe me, I fear you more than I fear Mirage.\"

The black haired vampire laughed. \"Really?\"

\"Yes, really.\"

\"Like you just said, sometimes you have to fear someone before you can love \'em.\"

\"I have no intention of ever loving you Khris...\"

\"Be careful love, you don\'t get to chose who you fall in love with.\"

\"Go... now.\"

\"No...\"

\"Why?\"

\"Because Louie , all Mirage has ever done was hurt me! he\'s not taking you away from me.\"

\"It\'s too late for that, you already lost me.\"

\"There\'s always time to fix things you\'ve ruined.\" Khristian said with a smile as he started kissing the blonde\'s lips.

Louis\' arms wrap around Khristian\'s neck and kissed him back.

\"You see Louie, you\'re giving into me.\" He said as he laid the blond slowly down on the bed.

The last thing Louis remembered was Khristian unbuttoning his shirt and a warm liquid run down his chest.

\"Louis...\"

The younger vampire looked up to find Mirage standing in the door frame.

\"What did you do?\" He walked over to the bed and pulled Khristian off of the younger vampire. The remainder of Louis\' clothing were covered in blood and the dagger Mirage had given him was burried deep into the black haired vampire\'s chest.

\"Oh my god...\" The blond said softly as he looked down at Khristian\'s lifeless body.

\"Come here babe.\" Mirage said as he held out his hand for the blond.

Louis walked over to him, dropped down to his knees and started crying. \"Oh god, what have I done?!\"

\"honey, no... don\'t cry.\" the red haired vampire said as he ran his fingers through Louis\' hair. \"It\'s going to be alright.\"

The younger vampire started shaking his head. \"No... no it\'s not I know what this means.\"

\"Nothings going to happen to yo-\"

Louis wasn\'t listening to Mirage. \"I killed Khristian! This means I\'m going to die!\"

\"No you\'re not, I won\'t let anything happen to you.\" Mirage said pulling the blod onto his feet.

\"You\'re one of the top ranking vampires Mirage, you have to kill me.\"

\"I won\'t... I refuse.\" The dark haired vampire said kissing Louie to calm him down.

\"You have to it\'s the law!\"

\"I don\'t care what the law says, I love you Louis and I\'m going to protect you.\" Mirage said as he wrapped his arms around Louis. \"I don\'t care what the consequenses are...\"
