Chapter 7
Thank you for the reviews. Means a lot. *Warning.* This chapter is a bit shorter than usual. Mainly because of classes and the fact that I’ve had to study for two tests coming this week and haven’t had much time to work on this story. My apologies.
Enjoy it anyway!

Chapter VII
Austin looped his car keys around his finger as he walked down the street. He squinted his eyes from the setting sun that was beating in front of him as he tried to find his car that was parked somewhere down the street.
Normally around that time of the day, the streets were pretty clear of other pedestrians-most of them already gone home for the day. So, it surprised Austin when he heard footsteps coming from behind him. He didn’t pay any mind to it at first, but the steps kept following him after a few blocks. Curious, Austin sped up a bit. So did the mysterious individual. A shadow of the being showed up in Austin’s peripheral vision. Whoever it was, was big. Austin’s heart started to beat faster and he began to get nervous. *God, why did I have to park my car so far away from my work? That’s right. Because I was so damn late this morning. All the good parking spaces were taken by then.*
He jumped when he felt a firm hand grab his shoulder and whirl him around. Before he could call out, Austin caught a glimpse of the all black garbed figure pull up the hem of his shirt, to reveal a .38 pistol jammed in the front of his pants. “Don’t you make a fucking sound or I’ll use this. You understand me?” The man whispered. Obviously trying to hide the identity of his real voice. Austin nodded.
The man pulled the frightened copywriter down a deserted alley, occupied by only large dumpsters and the occasional stray animal. Due to the location, that particular alley was known for being dark all day long. The sun could never seem to hit the surrounding buildings in a way well enough to send light in the alley. It always stayed the dirtiest and dampest of them all.
Now Austin was at the alley. He was thrown to the nasty ground, where he pleaded for his life. “Oh God, please. Please don’t kill me. Please.”
The man in black finally pulled out the gun and pressed the barrel of the gun to Austin’s temple. “What the fuck did I tell you about talking?”
“I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I have money. You can have it all. Just please let me go home. I won’t tell anyone I swear.”
“Let me see your wallet.” With a sudden firm grip on Austin’s hair, the mysterious man gave the younger a notice. “And don’t you dare fuck me on this. Move nice and slow.” Following the robber’s instructions, Austin moved a hand slowly into his jacket pocket and pulled out his leather wallet Max gave him for his birthday, and handed it over to the man. The robber snatched the wallet out his hands with the gun still pointed at him, and stuffed it in his own pocket. “Get up.” The man said. When he saw that Austin was too nervous to move, the man gripped his lapels and pulled him up forcefully. Slamming him against the brick wall of a building, behind a dumpster, the robber placed his gun on the top of the large trash can, chuckling. “You’re just a frail little thing. I won’t need this with you.”
“You’ve got all my money, what else do you want?!” Austin found himself yelling. The robber didn’t answer. Instead, he started to unbuckle his belt. “No. No. Please.....”
“Shut up and turn around.”
Austin started to pant, he was so scared. He was going to get raped. After going eighteen months without a single touch from Max, they had finally made love last night. It was a beautiful reunion between the two, and left them both with balanced auras, a glow to their skin, and smiles on their faces. Now, this man was going to pour shit all over it. Well, he was going to have to fight him for it. Austin wasn’t going to just ‘let’ the man have his way with him, because he was bigger than he was. Who knows, he might just get away.
Austin pushed passed the man as he was opening his fly, and started to run down the alley, in the direction of the street he had just left. But before he could burst into a full sprint and yell for help, the masked man in black grabbed him from behind and covered his mouth. “You’re pissing me off!” He yelled. Austin put up a good fight and struggled with all his strength against the man, but in the end, the robber managed to get him back down the alley and knocked him down to the ground again. And that was where the beating began.
Austin’s face, chest, stomach, ribs, and back were all victims of the masked man’s fists and boot clad feet. Though he knew he was getting savagely beaten, Austin still tried to fight back. Even landing one or two blows to the mysterious man’s face and neck. But his adrenaline-enhanced strength soon wore off and Austin grew too tired to fighting back. The blows were too hard and too strong for him to fight off. Austin was as limp to his punches and kicks as a man who’s getting trampled by a rampant elephant gone mad.
Finally the hits stopped. Austin was on his side, facing away from the robber. His face and hair, polluted with cigarette butts and trash, his eyes turning a deep red, the corners of his mouth left with trails of blood, his breathing now shallow, Austin could still hear his predator panting from overworking himself. “I’m still not leaving ‘til I get what I want.” The man hissed. He grabbed Austin’s limp body from behind again and slammed him onto a large abandoned crate, leaving him bent over. Austin knew what was too come, but with him being so tired, all he could do was start to shiver and grab hold of the edges of the crate.
The masked man reached under Austin’s waist and pulled down his pants and underwear. Then unleashing his own turgid cock, he forced his legs apart and buried himself into the young copywriter uninvitedly. The rape wasn’t quick and rushed like you’d normally associate with a rape; especially since he was in an alley and could- if someone actually needed something way down there- possibly be caught. The now rapist was delivering strong thrusts inside Austin. Grunting as he did so. Austin never made a sound. He gasped when he was initially penetrated, but soon became silent as the rape started to take place. Austin never cried when he was grabbed in the middle of the street, when he was thrown viciously down to the ground, when he had a gun held up to his head, or when he was brutally beaten. But tears started to form in his eyes when this monster of a man barbarously pushed his penis into his backside; shattering the very intimate essence he had declared was his lover, Max’s, and his alone.
After two hard pounds, the masked man came inside the younger man. But he didn’t linger. He pulled out just as quickly as he pushed in. Then, he was gone.
Austin was still for at least ten minutes. Too scared to chance it, he wanted to be sure his attacker was gone. He was still shaking when he slowly reached down his legs and pulled up his pants. Austin held on to his battered ribs as he finally stumbled to the street he had previously been trying to reach so desperately. With watery eyes he looked to his left and to his right and tried to find some type of help. His pain was all over his body and his head was throbbing, making his vision double. Too tired to move any further, Austin collapsed against the wall of a building. His clothes torn, dirty, and wrinkled, he looked like a drunken bum searching for a way to get his next bottle.
That’s what the police thought when they finally passed down the street an hour later. The streets were a bit darker by then. “Hey you.” The overweight policeman who was sitting shotgun in the patrol car. He watched suspiciously as Austin slowly started to crawl on all fours down the street. “Hey! Where do you think you’re going?” Austin kept crawling.
“What the hell is he doing?” The other officer asked as he was slowly creeping the car down the street adjacent to Austin.
“The man’s drunk, Davis. HE doesn’t even know what he’s doing. Stop the car.”
“York......”
“Do as I say, rookie. Stop the car, so we can take him in. The bum probably doesn’t even have a place to stay.” Davis pulled the car to a stop and Officer York stepped out. “Hey pal. Did you get wasted tonight?”
“No.” Austin replied. But it wasn’t exactly a response to York’s question. More like a plea. He kept crawling.
“Okay. Let’s get you off the street, huh?” York bent down and touched Austin’s shoulder.
Austin groaned. “No. Let me go.” He tried to inch away from him.
“You’re drunk, pal. We’re just gonna take you in. Now come on.” This time, York used both his hands and touched Austin’s shoulders. That’s when the young man went berserk.
Austin started slapping at his hands, kicking at him, and yelling, “No! Leave me alone! Don’t touch me!”
“Hey! Hey! Relax! Davis?!” The young rookie ran out the car and saw the frantic man fighting with York. Then he saw Austin’s battered face and torn clothes.
“York! This man’s been attacked!”
“I’M being attacked!”
Davis grabbed his handcuffs and secured Austin’s wrists. Austin had started to cry again. “Please, no more. Just leave me alone.” He pleaded between sobs. “Just leave me alone. Just leave me alone.”
“We’ve got to get him to a hospital.”

Regina stood in the doorframe of the kitchen, watching silently as Max sat in his chair at the table, dressed in his best clothes, staring at the table with his head down. He had persuaded Regina to take him into town soon after Austin had left, to buy matching wedding bands. They were the simplest of simple gold rings -they weren’t very expensive- but it was the best he could do until his check came in at the end of the month. He could’ve just as easily waited until then to buy more flashy bands, but he couldn’t wait. They had just rekindled their romance and it just seemed like the perfect time to present them to him. The black velvet box sat in front of him on the table next to the lit candles and lasagna and salad dishes as he waited. Max hadn’t moved since 5:30 that afternoon, and after nearly two hours, his small worries grew.
Regina didn’t know what to say. It looked excruciatingly romantic what Max was doing. She wished Laura would be that spontaneous. On the other hand, it looked tremendously sad. Austin had always walked through that front door at 5:30 on the dot. If he had other plans, he surely would’ve called. It wouldn’t have been in his nature if he didn’t. Regina couldn’t help but look at Max and that buried, blank face, and wonder if he was thinking the worst right now.
The phone rang and Regina answered. “Hello?..........Yes, it is............No, I’m Max’s nurse, but he’s indisposed at the moment. May I ask who’s call.............What?” She gasped. That sound caught Max’s attention. “When?..............Well, how is he?..............Okay.............Okay. We’ll be there.” She hung up the phone and looked back at Max. He was staring straight in her brown eyes; his breathing becoming heavier.
“Where’s Austin?”
“.......Max. Oh God, I’m so sorry........” Tears came to her eyes.
“Where’s my Austin, Regina?” He demanded.
“Austin.......Austin was attacked today, while walking down the street. The nurses say he was beaten up pretty badly. They also say he may..........he may have been raped.........” Max ducked his head and balled his hands up into fists. “But he’s so frantic down there at the hospital, he won’t let anyone get near him for an exam. He’s been calling for you.”
“Take me to him.” Max whispered.
************
One advantage to having a wheelchair is that you can fly down hallways if you wanted to and beat everybody. Max rolled down the hallway like he expected to get a medal for it. Regina ran close behind him. “Can I help you, sir?” The receptionist asked cheerfully.
“I need to find................” That’s when he heard it.
“No! No! Leave me alone! Don’t touch me!”
“Mr. Evans, we must give you a complete exam.”
“No! Don’t come near me! I want Max!” Austin cried. Max honed in on where the talking was coming from and raced down the hall to the right room.
“Austin?!” Max called as he came in.
Austin, who was balled up at the top of the bed, looked up. “Max?” He whispered. The tears came again. “Max?”
Max wheeled as close to the bed as he could and grabbed Austin into his arms. “I’m here, baby. I’m right here.” He kept saying to his love’s ear as the younger man cried hard and held on to him with all the strength he had in him.
“Don’t let go of me. Please?” Austin sobbed into Max’s shirt.
“I won’t. I promise.”
A male doctor in his fifties walked in the room, followed by two nurses. “Excuse me. Mr. Evans, we must give you an exam.”
Max looked up at the silver haired man from the other side of the bed. “And how do you expect to do that? He won’t even let you touch him. Just give us a minute, so I can calm him down.”
The doctor was silent for a while. “All right.” He and his nurses walked back out.
“Baby, try to calm down.” Max cooed in Austin’s ear, still rubbing his back. “You’ve got to let the doctor look at you.”
“I just wanna go home.” He sobbed in Max’s shoulder.
“I know you do- and we will. But you have to be given a rape exam first. WERE you raped, Austin?”
“.....Yes.” He whispered. Suddenly, Max’s grip around his lover tightened.
“Let this doctor look at you, okay?”
“Are you going to leave me alone?” Austin whimpered.
“No. I’m not leaving.”
Austin took a deep breath. “Okay.”
There was a knock at the door and Max’s turned to look and saw that the doctor was standing there, waiting. *Impatient bastard.* Max thought. “Is he ready yet?” The doctor grumbled.
Max frowned at him. “Check your tone, doc. YOU’LL be stretched out on one of those beds. Yes, he’s ready.” With a little gently prying, Max managed to pull away from Austin and just hold his hand, so he could give the doctor and his nurses room to examine his hurt lover.
***********
The doctor returned back to the room after a few minutes of being gone. By then, Regina had come in and stood on the other side of Austin’s bed, rubbing his shoulder and arm. “The exam revealed that Mr. Evans had been raped. There was forced entry and slight bruising around the anal area. But luckily, no further damage was made. TIME is about all I can prescribe to make it heal.”
“Time may help heal the visible wounds, but it can do shit for the inner ones. Thanks, doc. Can we take him home now?”
“I don’t see why not. The nurses have already bandaged up his ribs and treated the minor cuts and scratches around his face. I’ll ready his signing-out papers.” The doctor left again.
More to come......
Again, I’m sorry that this chapter is shorter than the others. I’ll make it up to you all with the next chapter, promise. R & R.
