New Foes... New Feelings

At day break I was given another potion, Yondaime was as a crafty alchemist and it tasted rather good to my liking at least. It was similar to the taste of blood, but lacked the warmth. It was early, near eleven or so and the sun was crawling across the great bowl of the sky. There was an uneasy silence, much like the calm of a hurricane… even the ocean seemed to lull in its wake the waves were muffled. The words of Boris came to my mind, the sorceress queen of the foreigners. I remained below out of habit of the bright sun and the others of the council were around me, either from fear… or just uncertainty. It was then the call came out, but not what we expected…
“Wave!” the cry broke across the sea, “Tidal wave!” the scream echoed again and we all ran out to the front of the boat. We could see what looked like the crest of a great wave, but my vampire eyes could see its true nature.
It was ships, legions of ships the sails the boats… all of their presence was white and glimmering in the sunlight. Just beyond them many thousands of leagues away was a great tower shooting from the earth and striking the sky shining in silver, like an upright needle poised at stabbing all who reached for it. It was such a grand scene, when the boats drew closer did it become frightening. Such beauty no doubt hid a great danger, the hundreds of thousands of ships were all drawing very near, suddenly as a sign of great sailing the middle of the armada broke in either way revealing a dreadnought. This massive boat did come forward at least five times larger then the other boats that did seem to fall away at its glory. On the bow stood their queen.
Our sails of black were insignificant to the great armada, with their pillar of light behind them. It was all blinding as the snitch did tell Lucca, such great white lights that nearly blinded my keen eyes. Their queen stepped off the front of the ship and floated to the waves, I saw now she had no pupils even her eyes were white and glowing. She walked along the water, it did not touch her, every wave broke away from her as though they were afraid. She stopped halfway and opened her mouth she spoke in silence, and a few moments later the air boomed with her voice and made my heart skip,
“What brings you to the shores of light?” she commands and the sea wailed in her power. Lord Veeba steps forward and floats to the ocean like she did, he walks toward her without fear she merely cocks her head in some disbelief. When they are less then a stones throw from each other Veeba speaks, his voice can be heard like an eerie whisper for all to hear… he must know the technique,
“We are here to seek the continuation of our glorious kingdoms” he says and bows before her. Her face remains unchanged,
“We shall speak” she says.

Our convoy of the members of council and Contessa Alexandria come forward in a small ship, quite small and feeble in comparison to the White Queen’s ship. We board… the hall to the main deck was littered with diamonds, glorious stones hidden in the deepest mountains. Even the floor shimmered and reflected light all over our bodies, Lucca seemed the most uncomfortable like he could sense an aura. Alexandria looked at me only once and I bowed to her, and she replied in suit our respect for each other in the public eye was to remain as it was. We entered the deck, the emblem of the Queen was in the center, a green and blue formation of crystals and sapphires and a great table sat atop the mural. She was seated in a horrific white throne, sharp prongs that did spew from the mould of whatever substance rose and fell with needle tips.
She sat watching us, but with no pupils I was never certain of her gaze; yet another child of light where may powers availed me not. We sat at her table, Contessa at the head and the rest of us surrounded her, Lucca with his hand at his hilt, and Enea the same. Contessa was looking directly at the Queen fearlessly, as a leader should.
“I have never been to your shores before… hey are quite striking” Alexandria says. The Queen stares at her and Alexandria continues,
“I come to seek the continuation of peace… between us” she says and the Queen continues to stare. It is now her pupils come forward from her white eyes, they are green and cat-like squinting very thin at the sunlight.
“A vampire, a Lizaberian, a warrior, a historian, a dark lord, consorts and doctors… all of you slaves to a leader, with no power… how doth you follow this creature?” she asks and we all grow rather angry but Alexandria is unflinching.
“Do you think so highly of yourself, that rulers must follow the most powerful… I would not see why peasants would follow you who would turn them to ash at a cross word, the people are the ones who recognise power” she says and the Queen scowls in a manner that would turn someone to stone, but Contessa stares right into her eyes.
“You come for peace, yet speak the wrong words child, you sit fearless before ultimate power and might, yet you come bearing a dove, not a raven… I could crush you” she says smiling devilishly.
“And I you, but nothing is more powerful to me and my kingdom then the spoken word… and you fall before only my tongue, it does not present power” Contessa speaks and boldly. The White Queen still smiles in her terrifying manner,
“I like the speech of those without fear… but bringing fear to their eyes… I like even more… you have trespassed on our sacred land”
“In a mission of peace” Enea speaks out of turn. Alexandria moves her head in his direction but does not look at him. Enea steps back realising his mistake, the Queen smiles at the subtle turn of events.
“The bridle is easily pulled, but the mare is disgruntled” she says almost laughing at her remark, Enea looks angry.
“You laugh at my council, but any of them would make short work of you” Alexandria says standing up, “I did not come to be ridiculed and if this rift of mystery lies between us now then perhaps venturing into the sea was a mistake… you can keep your land and your jests at newcomers and stay like you are forever, it is of little consequence to me” she says staring at the Queen’s eyes she moves her head in a snake like manner.
“But it is…” a voice comes from a dark, open doorway.
We all look to the door, the White Queen smiling all the while. There is a man, he steps from out the door with boots of black and silver; he is very broad and looks beyond powerful. A sword lay on his back the wind picking up his loose areas of white silk that flap in the breeze. His step is enchanting, a clomp of his boot and we were all watching like a hunter hidden before its prey. His pants are black with small stripe of white, he dresses like a swordsman with his gloves of black that reach up his forearm which explodes with sleeves of white satin. All his black garments are made of leather, with a single belt crossing his midsection, a link to his blade. He smiles, fangs… I could see them, he was a kindred… a kindred of light, but that was only myth. I was in shock as he smiled at us, he looked at us as though we were behind glass, helpless and could only watch him walk before us.

He stopped beside his Queen who leans her head into his arm, he continues to smile.
“It is of consequence… you have come here and we cannot ignore your kingdom” he tells us as we all fixate on his eyes, the whites were black and his eyes were the color of blood, a crimson that only fresh blood could mimic.
“You are a vampire” I say to him, the first to speak of the group, he looks to me.
“That I am, created not by the elder lords of darkness but those of light”
“How can a creature of darkness be reverted to serve the light?!” I ask so very curious.
“There are always two sides, even in the deepest reaches of the night sky are there two, I do not feast on blood, but on souls” he tells me still looking at me, only fallen angels could feed on souls and only of the damned… this was all very perplexing. He remained vigilant at me and our gathering, his hair the color of the sails above flowed behind him merely shoulder length but still very staggering and shone incredulously.
I suddenly realised the air had changed, Lucca was shaking holding his sword so tight his dark gloves were tearing at the seams. The man looked at him, and when he did it sparked Lucca in a most terrifying way, Lucca leapt, to all our disbelief at the white-haired man beside his Queen. Time stopped at that moment, he already had his short-sword out and aimed for the mans heart,
“Andrastos!” he screamed in the air still flying when he stopped. Andrastos, the white haired man from across the sea was holding the tip of Lucca’s sword between his two fingers. Yet he wasn’t merely holding the sword, he was holding Lucca’s entire body above the table just from his sword. And there it was, a Lizaberian Shadow levitating above the table of the White Queen, with her white guard holding him firmly. Andrastos looks at him,
“Lucca of the Shadows… I remember you, you did not have a mask back then” he says and lefts the sword into the air making Lucca flip backwards, but he lands on his feet precisely where he leapt from.
“How do you live! I left you on the hills of Cremere!” he beckons at the vampire.
“Yes, you left me there to die… it was an angel that came to me I offered my soul for this body with nothing but eternal damnation waiting for me, but so long as I kill you and all those you care for without a threat… I shall live eternal, and you shall die, war begins this day… flee from here we arrive in two days and I shall kill you on your very shores along with your kingdom!” he shouts and we all stare in dismay. Alexandria is breathing heavily, this was her worst fear come true and I was sorry for her position.
“We had not even talked!” she tells them angrily, “Why is war ever the only answer?!”
“Had it not been for Lucca, your kingdom would be of no concern to me but now that he is with you… you and all he cares for will die…” he says, “Go and consider yourselves blessed, I could kill you all right now”
“No you couldn’t” I say he looks at me with more rage then any creature alive.
“What did you say?” he asks reaching for his blade, the White Queen looks at him.
“As vampires we are linked, we are equal in battle and I have lived far longer then you… you would fall before me”
“I look forward to killing you as well” he says
“I wouldn’t if I were you… for you shall lose” I say and motion for us to leave, Veeba sneers at the malicious pair before us and leads the Contessa from the room she catches my eye on her way, a tear was forming and I lowered my head. We all left the room where the vampire and his sorceress smiled standing before sails of brilliant white.

We were aboard our ship now safely out of reach of their cannons, at least I had hoped we were. The Contessa shook off her guards and went below, we all watched her leave our sight in our own disappointment. We had failed her… I had failed her and her wish to solve this without bloodshed, it was an inescapable destiny and I only hope she can realise that soon.
We began to flee, I could see Andrastos standing on the bow of his ship watching impatiently. Cannon fire was beginning to sound across the armada of light, the steel balls missing our boats by only a few feet some of the boats that moved to block the Contessa’s ship were hit. Lucca was watching fearlessly from the aft looking at his nemesis on his ship, he points to him with his sword and Andrastos bows with glee. Lucca… the Lizaberian Shadow halted in mid-air by a stranger, it was a blow to his pride and he was in a state that I could not approach.
They pursued us for most of the day but turned back when dusk was settling in, the white sails disappearing on the horizon, it was my last sunset as a light-dweller. I would retreat happily to my dark domain where my power lies and Nelchael waits, and where it was easier to seduce the Contessa… but I shall wait a day, she is no doubt angry. My dear Max who stands by his window waiting for my return along with the leaderless minions of Contessa. The people would be in panic a the thought of war, the army would be mobilized and the entire shore of the country would have to somehow be guarded.
Many thoughts plagued me this night, I would have to see the Contessa when we return and… speak with her of last night and the nights to come. I was longing for the next evening already. All of our moods were soured and talking would only make us more melancholy as to our current situation.

War had begun…

The next night we arrived, nearly the entire kingdom and neighbouring villages and cities were there to welcome us, but our faces did not tell of peace. The Contessa told them a meeting would be held in the court tomorrow of the most serious of aggregations. The people were now nervous and an air of question was apparent on their faces. They walked away as the servants and consorts welcomed the Contessa and led her into the kingdom, our eyes met briefly and I knew in her thoughts she wanted me to come see her.
On the dock was Max who was looking away rather angrily,
“You were gone longer then you said” he tells me looking at the sea in a most upset manner. I smile at him and he looks at me, but looks back at the ocean.
“My dear Max… not even a welcome for your master? When they told me it was going to take longer I knew you would be upset”
“I was not lonely…” he says still looking at sea. I am slightly perturbed at this remark,
“Do you wish to hurt me Max?” I say sternly
“I was with someone… a girl, she helped me through the nights without my master” he says avoiding my eyes.

“There it is” I say, I was now angry… this was not how I wished to be welcomed, “You are my servant… I am not pleased with your promiscuity, perhaps she can be your new master then” I say and storm past him, I know he watches me leave. He was no different, falling into another’s arms at merely two days passing, the young wench. I was rather angry, in the trees I know Nelchael was laughing within the forest. I burst into my room and tossed what I took with me to the bed, war a new foe, the Contessa’s hardship and now this! I relaxed only after a short while. I remembered I still had a meeting with Contessa this night, no boy-slave was going to interrupt this congregation.
The door creaked and I was still sour, in an instant I was embraced from behind. I knew it was Max holding me in a loving way, hoping I would forgive him. I sighed and looked out the window, the servants were bringing the supplies from the boat the sea looked more treacherous then ever before. There was too much on my mind, I needed simplicity… sanctuary I turned to Max who looked at me with small tears in his young eyes. I hugged him back and he sniffed lightly in my robe,
“You were gone too long master…”
“What did I tell you before?” I ask him and he looks at me straining to think, “I told you I cared for you, I shall not leave you alone in this castle you are precious to me, never fear of my safe return” I tell him and he hugs me again.

After some reminiscing with Max I left him sleeping, there was another to visit this night. Crystal Moon informed me that she was in the bathing area of her royal chambers, I began to salivate slightly, much to my dismay. Baths… how pure and wonderful for a creature such as she. I made my way into her main chamber, the candles were lit and I passed them looking about the room for her. Doors were open like clues… ever so tantalizing clues leaving me wanting more, and more there were. There was a beautiful green staircase that led down to a glowing jade light just beyond what my eyes could see. It was my destination, the air become warm and moist small drops of water formed on my flesh mixed with the sweat of the heat. I could hear the soft noises of disturbed water just around the bend and made me speed up considerably.
Turning the corner swiftly I saw… nothing but a pool of water that was shrouded in steam, the water of a most intriguing green faded off into the steamy mist. I looked around and could only hear the water rippling around the corners of its prison, near the two-step entrance to the water was a robe of salmon coloured silk that was crumpled but looked as soft as when it was tailored. I smiled, and she no doubt smiled from her hiding place in the warm pool before me. I untied the string on my chest that held my robe together, I let it fall but caught it when it neared the floor… I lay it down silently. I float from my boots into the air slightly lifting my head to the sky, and rest back down behind them letting my feet feel the moist ground.
My pants I leave last and for the most important reason, somehow I knew she was watching me. I use my powers and pull the loop of the belt without noise and slide it from my waist all without my hands. I hop forward letting the soft satin flow from my body and I am in the air using all my powers to float. The pants drop with a soft ruffle and I enter the water completely nude.

The water sound was close, I entered, disturbing the liquids slumber of warmth… for who could not sleep in its arms. I floated forward a ways and glided like a snake into the pool, she was everywhere and no where , my body was in her eyes of eagle sharpness and I the serpent. The water was somewhat shallow, were I to stand it would come to just above my waist. Then she was before me leaning against the back of the pool with her eyes on me. She was smiling like the night we kissed and the warmth of the water was increasing from the heat of my blood. I approached and she stayed motionless, the water was irritatingly stopping my eyes from fixating on her more sensual areas… the breasts were just laying atop the water and it licked the underside of them from beneath. Her body then lay under the water where it was playing with my eyes like a shattered mirror.
“Do you come here everyday?” I say smiling and drawing closer.
“Only on the days that are most troublesome… but I am more then content now..” she says looking at the water and her body beneath it, then at me and I swallow hard.
“I want to think of nothing else, but you… and me… and right now” I say drawing within a touch’s distance from her face where our eyes met with ferocious intensity.
We both stand the water falling off us like a small waterfall in the depths of a forest. The water hugging my hips and her stomach, we stare a moment longer I gaze down without even knowing and I see her grin from the corner of my eye.
“Do you want me… vampire?” she says, dear God I think… to hear the words! I looked back at her eyes she moves slightly closer her breasts just tickling my chest from the proximity. Her seductive smile, the hair that lay in strings of dampness but still shining gold, the water dripping from her that would no doubt cling to her skin forever if it could… like I would.
“I do…” I say and she smiles. I take her hips into my hands and push her into me, our bodies colliding we kiss again… oh even to merely kiss again was a dream within a dream that I hoped would never end. I was tamed by a human and I cared not for whomever knew! She was against me now my hands trailed to her rear and her breathing became swift, I pulled her from the water from where my hands fell and she wrapped her legs around my waist fiercely. I put my back against the wall where I first saw her in the pool, and we kissed with the passion of all who came before us, and all who were to come.
She holds my face in her hands and we kiss again… and again. We separate for a moment, we look into each other, my hands grabbing her breasts lightly it was then I entered her. Her eyes became wide with a stunned yet wondrous look, her mouth fell open slowly and she clenched her teeth in pleasure. She had never been with a vampire before… I smiled inside. Her legs still wrapped about my waist, and the muscles tightened, the warm water adding to the intensity of every moment.
“Ah…” she moaned quietly, I looked into her and we kissed as I entered and re-entered ever so slowly. Every nerve in her body would feel me within her, and she would never make me stop pleasuring her. I began to walk through the water, our lips separated and she put her head on my shoulder, her wet hair tickling my chest. She began to softly moan in the steamy air as I continued into her even as I walked carrying her.
I stepped from the water and she was trapped in utter ecstasy, she was breathing in passion and my breath was as equally taken. Up the stairs across the main room, and into her bedroom I carried her making love to her with each stride.

The red silk blanket that covered her bed lay resting, and I lowered her down onto the soft fabric. Once on the bed I kissed here again, all the kisses between our last kiss and this night were to be reconciled along with our unwavering longing for each other. I moved down her kissing her and she gripped my hair with her hands as I touched her breast she was breathing so loudly and her voice cracked. I went lower… and lower… and lower… and stopped… she seized the blankets, clawing at them like a caged animal as I kiss her. After quite a time I kissed her in an upward fashion, back to her lips that were hot as embers. I entered her again while kissing her, her mouth opened in mine from the sudden move but she kissed me again. We were one being, equal in desire and I loved her more then anyone my long life had to offer.
All at once she grabbed my shoulders and flung me to my back, I was surprised in a very good way. She clambered on top of me and bent low to kiss me again while once again we became one. She made love like the devil, the fire in her eyes from the passion of our bodies would ignite the very air. All water from our bodies was gone from the intensity, all that remained was the sweat from the movements. She would bend low to kiss me then sit up again forever, she came back down and I kissed her hungrily grabbing at her breasts loosely rubbing against my chest.
We continued this way until our breath quickened at the sudden rush of feeling, she moaned as loud as I did as we climaxed together, something that only happens at destiny. After the moment of eternity she fell on me kissing my cheek as the sweat rolled off her glowing body. I held her like Hell was coming to take her away… I could see Nelchael’s smiling face in the candles and I grinned back, this was truly a night of memory. We kissed lightly as we held each other we were still connected and I did not want the warmth to end. My fatigue withered and I was hungry again… I kissed her with all my power, and she smiled in a very surprised way. I took her again and again even as the heavens above were screaming for it to end but I would not stop…

The night was young for a vampire…
