Rouge Sang

My eyes flitted up tro see a man falling from the twisted metal terrace.
I watched as like lightening he jumped to my balcony,landing with cat like grace,on his
feet before me.
I wanted to scream,my heart raced,my throat dried,but before a noise coulde come sound,
His hand clamped over my mouth.
"Sh,Please....Im sorry to scare you,demoiselle....Im sorry..."He said as he stepped back...
My mind soared.
"Bastien?"I mumbled,low in my throat,My eyes large with excitement.
"Im sorry?"He asked,stepping closer.His mouth slightly open,his fangs brushing his
bottom lip.
I backed away at the sight of those...Closer to the rail...

He stared into my eyes,something behind them I couldnt tell...
As I intently watched his eyes watching mine,I crept closer and closer to the edge.
Suddenly,like a flash of light I felt myself slipping.

The rail gave way and I was falling.

For a moment it wasnt real...It was all slow motion and I could see myself from another
point of view,falling...Falling....
Bastien's face twisted as I felt the ground coming closer...The sudden whip of wind swept
my hair about into a curtian around me,My legs light and numb...

I felt the ground...The cool stone tile cement...a mist surrounding me as I felt it coming.
But then I stopped,My limbs weighted again and I was suspended in mid air....
I suddenly realised my eyes were closed,and my mouth,open to scream was shut...The
sudden surge of fear was gone and the feeling of safety and security took over...

I felt a pain in my throat.....I was feeling lucid and my body was weighted where it was.

My conciousness regained slowly and I was lying the alley next to my building.
Bastien stood over me.His fangs red with blood.

"Are you.....going to.....kill me?"I choked,My body throbbing.
"Shh..."He whispered,petting my hair back."Its okay..."

I closed my eyes,My mind tuned off to the surroundings...
