Oh So Better Be Shittin' Me

Chapter Six:

Angelique stood at the door to the warehouse, looking out at Thorn on the ground.

Holding back a scream, she wept for her love. Salty water trickled down her face, as she stood, not moving, not breathing, staring out at Selenity drift over to Jay and sit down. She was to far away to hear what they said, but she knew he was alive. And talking.

Turning around, she wondered about her brother, if he was near or if he had left Gevaudan.

Selenity stood and helped up Jay, looking over to where Thorn\'s body should be she couldn\'t see him, he was gone. Where, she didn\'t know. Carefully turning in a circle, she saw him, making his way back to the warehouse.

\"Hey Thorn, know what I\'m gonna do next?\"

She asked fastidiously. Pulling out a match, she used her other hand to punch a hole in her truck.

\"I\'m going to burn you all.\"

She answered for him, smiling, he looked at her, he knew the gas was up to her shoulders, but all she had to do was light the match and everything would burn, fall into ash on the ground.

\"Selenity.\"

Jay said at her feet. She was scared, she could practically smell it on him, mingleing with the gas, making everything hazy. Moving her hand to the truck, she posed for effect before scraping the match on the tank of the truck. Then everything was gone, she was floating on a wave of heat, red all around her, she wanted to stay like this forever, not moving, not feeling, but then it all came back o her, the numbness left. Leaving her in scorching heat, she felt jay turn to charcoal, holding her hand, screaming. Then it was gone again, but this time it was lack, and she still had the pain, but only when she moved.

She felt something light and smooth covering her, using all her strength, she rolled over to the smell of burnt flesh mingled with burnt clothes and dust. How could she smell dust when she should be dead?

\"Hey, well you can\'t just put her down, she is still the best there is, how could you even think of killing her?\"

Eve\'s voice penetrated her skull, had Eve got a dog while she was asleep?

\"I know, but we can\'t have one this strong just wandering around, getting to know its own kind.\"

Noels voice replied to Eve. They were arguing, but about what. Moaning, she turned over, to stop herself listening. She didn\'t like it when Eve yelled, she sounded to much like her mother. And her mother was really scary.

\"She awake.\"

Jay said, he was in front of her, and struggling to open her eyes, Selenity succeeded on the second try.

Jay reached out and held her hand.

\"How do you feel?\"

Eve\'s voice came from behind her.

Trying her hardest, she managed to strangle out a few words.

\"I\'m hungry.\"

Looking into Jay\'s stunning eyes, he was smiling, what was so funny, she was in pain and hungry and all he had for her was a laugh? What was going on?

\"It\'s getting used to it already.\" Noel said, \"We have to kill it.\"

\"You prick.\"

Eve said, almost screaming. Man was she hungry.

\"I\'m taking her out to hunt, we can sneak into the jail, get someone there.\"

Jay said, waving them out of the room, Noel left reluctantly.

\"What\'s going on?\"

Selenity asked, confused. Jay helped her out of bed and then into some clothes. He had a look of content, like he had won something.

\"Did Eve and Noel get a dog?\"

She asked innocently.

\"No dear, they didn\'t get a dog, they were talking about you.\"

\"Why would Noel want to kill me?\"

She asked, naturally curious, but quiet none the less, she didn\'t have the strength to yell it out.

\"Because of what you did. Come on,\" he said, looking up as he finished tying her shoes for her, \"Up you get, you are hungry, so I\'m taking you out to eat.\"

He said, taking her hand, she floated out the door into a richly furnished hall, lots of doors were on either side of her, everyone was the same.

People walking past pointed and stared and whispered about her when she walked past, but she didn\'t care, the only thing she could think about was the burning sensation running through her veins. She could see the transparency of peoples skin, see the veins through their skin, she wanted to rip and tear.

What the hell was going on? She asked herself as she watched a man walk past with large veins on his neck. Licking her lips, she went after him, to find she was being held back.

\"Let me go, Jay. He was a good one.\"

She heard herself say, but it was not her voice, it was as if she were someone watching herself, like in a play. If it was, this was a good play.

\"Where are we going?\"

\"To jail.\"

\"I don\'t want to go to jail, I didn\'t do anything.\"

\"I know, but the people there did.\"

\"Then why are we going?\"

\"For dinner dear.\"

\"What are we going to eat?\"

The conversation went on, back and forth, it was a good play, and she wanted popcorn, until she got to the jail and she was sucked back into herself, all the things she saw. Black night had become yellow day, she sew everything. It was beautiful.

She didn\'t understand, but she knew she was back into her old body, she was herself again. The feeling to tear was back again, she wanted...life?
What was this feeling?

\"Hey Jay, back so soon, you were here a few hours ago. Ooh, you\'re on a date.\"

Said a guard in the tower, he let them pass, staring at them as they passed.

\"I\'m not hungry anymore.\"

She said, and it was her, her own voice. She wasn\'t hungry, that feeling had passed, now she was thirsty, a deep thirst.

\"I\'m thirsty.\"

She continued, looking at the man at her side, he was holding her arm, to stop her from floating away, that was what it felt like, he was her anchor.

\"Yes, dear, I know, hold on a little bit more.\"

Entering another hall, they turned into a long passageway lined with cages.

\"Like picking lobsters at a restaurant.\"

Jay said into her ear. What was she going to drink, the lobsters water? She laughed at her joke. Jay looked at her, pleased that she was slowly coming back into her old self.

\"Which lobster do you want?\"

He asked, Selenity looked around, she saw the veins, the blood pulsing through them, she saw one with lots of large veins, she couldn\'t so much see it as she could hear it, like sonar. It was stragely erotic thinking off all the blood, of what she could do with the blood and of what she wanted to do with the blood and most deffinately with Jay.

\"I want that one, Jay\"

She said cheerfully, pointing at the one she chose, jay walked over, pulled out a key and opened the door, the man stood, glaring at her, she wanted to play with this one, like a cat with a mouse. Slowly walking over, she strolled around him, staring at all his veins, hearing the blood, the heart, smell the fear and was aroused by it. It was almost enough to scare her into being herself again, but the blood was there and she couldn\'t get rid of the sound of it. She picked a nice big vein and pointed at it.

\"That\'s a big one. Open that one for me, I don\'t want blood on my shirt.\"

Looking down at the red jumper she wore. She smiled, she liked the color red, but it was a lie that red hid blood, once it dried it looked black and that was hard to hide.

Jay came over, putting on a metal cone to cover his thumb, poking at the vein, he scratched the skin and put the metal thumbnail under the vein, slicing it in two. Seeing the blood spill over his thumb, she pounced, she wanted it suck it slowly down into herself, to slowly suffocate him. to taste his pulse beating through her as her own. Things lower then her stomach and the bloos filling t beat along and sent sharp punches of pleasure through her body.

\"Stop before the heart stops dear, we cannot drink dead blood, it makes us very sick.\"

He said, putting a hand on her shoulder, she stopped and watched the criminal slump to the floor, a bundle of cloth and flesh.

\"Feed me, Seymour, feed me all night long...\"

She sang quietly as he led her to three more people before making her stop and taking her home to rest.

Selenity woke, but kept her eyes closed, she could hear Eve and Noel come down the hall and enter the room, she sensed rather than heard Jay next to her. Smiling, she opened her eyes to Jay\'s face, he looked white, and sad, like he lost some thing very important to him. With his eyes closed, she sat up and kissed lightly on the eyes, startled, he opened his eyes and smiled, but it was not warm, it was sad.

\"What\'s going on?\"

Selenity asked, his face lightened up, looking at her, his eyes filled with tears.

\"What, did I die or something?\"

She asked in a joking voice. Selenity was back

\"Yes.\"

Came Noels voice, his face showed he hadn\'t slept in a while, but he still was happy she was back.

\"That odd, I don\'t feel dead, I feel, well, I feel, new.\"

She replied, but didn\'t add that she wanted to jump every warm blooded person in the room and most likely the building.

\"Selenity.\"

Jay said, turning, she looked straight into his eyes and her breath caught in her throat at his beauty.

\"You did die, and you are definitely dead right now. Do you understand?\"

\"No.\"

She didn\'t understand. This was confusing, she was dead, but alive sitting here looking at her dearest friends in the whole wide world. She knew they would explain, even if she had to pry, they would explain.

\"Explain.\"

She said in a commanding tone, she was sick of this game.

\"You a vampire. You died in the explosion. But I brought you back as my childe.\"

Jay said calmly, he was being very proper, but she could tell he wanted to cry.

\"I\'m sorry.\"

He said, then the tears came. She didn\'t comfort him, she couldn\'t, he had done this to her. Suddenly, he didn\'t look quite so beatiful.

\"I couldn\'t let you die, Selenity.\"

\"But I did die! I am dead right now!\"

She screamed, she wanted to leave, to go away and die, again.

She looked at the roof, then getting out of bed, she didn\'t care if she was naked, and she walked to he bathroom, to drown her sorrows in the hot water of the shower.
Stepping in the shower, she turned on the water, she couldn\'t hear them anymore, they were silent, but she didn\'t care. She was dead. How could this happen, she was dead.

\"I\'m dead!\"

She screamed once more before sitting down, a wave of dizziness enveloping her.

Great, now I\'m going to be dizzy and maybe faint, I will not kill anyone, ever, she thought as she spat at the glass, right where Jay\'s shoes appeared. He was still crying, she didn\'t care, and didn\'t want to hear, but his quiet sobs drifted through the glass and penetrated the noise of the running water.

Opening the lass, she continued to sit, but beckoned him in, he was like a child, you could never be mad art him or to long.

\"I didn\'t want to lose you.\"

He said, turning off the water and handing her a towel. Standing up, she took it and wrapped it around her, stroking his face, he stopped crying and looked down at her, when had he gotten so tall?

\"It\'s ok.\"

Was all she could get out, holding him closer to her, she could have stayed like that forever. She loved him. And now she was the same as him.

Angelique paced, stopping every now and again to look at Thorn; he was healing very slowly because he hadn\'t eaten before he was blown from his warehouse. How could such a puny person cause such havoc? Kidnapped her brother, shot her friend and blew up all the vampires in one night. She had to get her brother back; he was the only thing keeping her from killing Selenity.

She was my friend, she thought, strangely, she thought it not in hate, but in love. Selenity was her only friend, a real friend.

Maybe she didn\'t know I was in the building? She asked herself, but then maybe she did know.

Okay, once again, I appologise if no one gets my jokes, but when I was writing that chapter I could not stop giggling like a school girl! .... I mean...It was very amusing...
