AN: Almost done! Just three more to go!

Akira blinked open his eyes. The cave they had found was pitch black. It was the third night since being tossed wherever he was at. Gray eyes focused on the face that was close to his. It took him a second to get his sleep deprived brain to function. Then he was up against the wall, “What the fuck!”

Zero was up and clutching his head, “Ouch…”

He looked over at Akira who was glaring at him. What did he do this time? “Don’t touch me!”

His head tipped to the side, “Huh?”

The slim male was rushing out of the cave. He watched as he disappeared from sight to climb down the small drop to the ground. They were lucky to have found this place. He stood and yawned as he stretched his arms in the air. Walking out his tired black eyes found the other brunette sitting on a stone boulder. Smoke was rising into the air.

Everything wasn’t going so well. The first morning being with Akira had him finding the male in a foul mood. His anger was so bad he took it out on the first person who tried to jump them. He left the beaten bloodied mess tied to a tree for someone else to deal with.

So far Zero had learned that he shouldn’t piss the shorter male off. Raven dropped on Zero’s shoulder, “We should tell him everything.”

He shook his head. Something told him the brunette might take it the wrong way if he said something.

“What if he found out? It would only be worse then what he might do now.”

The image of him tied to the tree with a pissed off Akira flashed across his mind. He quickly shook his head again.

“If you won’t I will.” The foot tall male shot over to Akira. “Akira!”

Zero was scrambling down the slop. “No!”

He looked up to find Raven in front of him. “I have to tell you something about Zero.” Before he could open his mouth Zero had snatched him out of the air and ran. Akira watched as the two disappeared back in the cave.

His brows drew closer, “What the hell?” Standing he watched as Raven came back out.

This time the small male shouted. “You have to tell him!” He hid behind Akira. Zero was shaking his head. “Fine I’ll tell him!”

“No!” Raven ducked as Zero tried to grab him.

“You and Zero are related!”

Tell me have you met your bother yet.

He dropped onto the rock he had been sitting on. His head dropped into his hand as he sighed. Now was not the time to over react. React later. When he looked up he stared off out at the trees. “I should have known. She asked me.” Looking at Zero he said, “After this you’re telling me everything you remember.”

He nodded his head quickly.

The messenger looked at Akira, “Your taking this to well.”

“Meh… I’ve seen a lot of shit I’m not surprised anymore. Besides someone already told me I had one.” He just didn’t expect him to be here… but then again it did make sense after he thought about it.

It grew quiet and Raven looked up, “He’s here.”

“Let get this show over with.” Akira stood. “You know what to do.”

“Yes!”

The brunette stiffened when Zero hugged him. His mind seemed to sync with Zero’s and his eyes narrowed at what he saw. When he pulled away Akira pulled the knife out. “You have five minutes to find them. Stay here.” He climbed up into the tree.

“So how long do we have to wait?” A pile of vines and kindle fell to the ground. “Never mind.” Raven sat on Zero’s shoulder as Akira fell to the ground. He lit a cigarette and stood there.

Bending over he let the flame from the lighter lick over the end of a vine. He tossed it onto the pile. “Fire always draws in the desperate ones.”
~~~
Zev looked around as he sat there in the tent. He knew Akira was going to do something soon. He said so himself. Marianela was sitting at the table with a device listening to Jett. Something bugged him. Standing he walked over to her. She looked up at him, “What is it, Zev?”
“I need to ask Jett something. I also want to talk to Ransom can you go get him.”
“Sure.” She pushed down on a button, “Jett. Zev has some things he wants to ask.” Her finger moved away and then she pressed it again. “Okay. I’ll tell him.” Standing she motioned to the chair. Once he sat down she set the headphones on his ears. “Push that button to talk. Release when you’re finished.”
“Okay.”
~“Zev?”~ His hand found the button and he pushed it.
“I want to ask you something about Akira.” It clicked when he released it.
~“What is it?”~
“I… want to know what to expect when he comes out.” He took a breath. “I want to know if he’ll still be the Akira that he was before he went in.”
It was silent as he waited. He was about to pushed the button when he heard the voice. ~“There are a lot of things that can change a person. But Akira… If left on his own he’ll come out after a while. But since Marianela was their most of the time she would force him out. I don’t know about now… it has been awhile since he did. For all we know he could go all the way back to before you came into the picture.”~
“Okay.”
~“Zev, when he does come out just be yourself. Don’t let anything change. It will help a lot.”~
“Thanks.”
~“Glad to help.”~ He pulled the head set off just as Marianela and Ransom walked in.
“What is it?”
“I’ve got some questions about when you guys were missing.”
Ransom nodded, “I’ll answer anything I can as best as I can.” Marianela sat down and placed the head phones back on her head. The two walked off over to a corner to sit down and talk. As they sat he looked at Zev. “What do you want to know?”
“Let’s start off with the beginning.”
The blunette took a breath and nodded. His face was blank as he started to talk.
~~~~

Three guards walked into the clearing only to freeze at the sight. The shorter brunette was sitting on top of two dead bodies. A thin stream of smoke rose from the cigarette. “Hello.” They saw the bar code tattoo on his collar bone. He stood as all three guys backed up. Crouching he let his wings stretch out. The cigarette was smothered out on the ground.

One of the men stepped back as they hissed, “Hybrid.”

Akira smirked as he took off in the air. He had one place he was going.
~~~~
Diter watched as the door slid open. He found his father looking out at the fighting grounds. Caelan was sitting in a chair when he lifted his head up slightly. Red eyes took in the sight. Then his eyes widened.
That damn brunette appeared in front of the glass pane. His booted feet were pressed against the window. A hand slammed against it. He watched as the glass rippled and then bowed inwards. With a groan the window shattered. Glass pieces seemed to float as his booted feet touched the ground. His gray eyes flicked to Diter.
The man had only a second to draw his weapon before Akira brought the long knife out. Sounds of glass raining to floor followed after Akira. The slim male growled low, “Bastard… I’ll kill you for what you did to him!” He pulled the knife away causing Diter to lose his balance. Then he turned as the blade moved in an arch.
The long haired man sitting in the chair grinned as the sounds of blades hitting each other rang through the room.
Zero looked around a corner. He was in a guard uniform now. Just like Akira had said. Go out and sound the alarm then get the hell out of there. So far everyone was more focused on the person attack their boss. He slipped down the hall and found the room. Walking in a doctor looked up, “What is it?”
Pulling out a weapon the man paled. He motioned with the gun for the man to move. Just then he felt something cold push against his neck. There was a loud click form behind him. “Drop it.” His body tensed and he dropped to the ground.
The guard jumped as Zero kicked his leg out. He rolled as the gun fired at him. His body turned as he pointed the gun up. The two ended up with a gun in each other’s face. Just as the guard flexed his finger a scream came from one of the babies. The brunette whipped his head to the side as he panicked. “Damn it!”
The gun went off and there was a thud. He looked down to find no holes in him. That guard pulled his hat off and then his jacket. “Hurry up!” Zero climbed to his feet to find the doctor on the ground a pool of blood quickly spreading out. He walked over to look at the three in the beds. His hand reached into one. The screaming baby suddenly stopped and sniffed. The little round nose twitched. “Looks like their healing and growing rate has increased since I last saw them.” Glancing over he found the man wrapping the two smaller babies in his jacket. Caramel eyes looked at him, “Hurry up! Grab him we don’t have long!”
He quickly slid out of his coat and wrapped the last one up in it. “What are you doing in here?” Turning he swallowed, “Zero, what are you doing?” Dr. Eron was watching him. Then he walked up to him.
“A-Akira…” There was a sound from the man behind him. He raised his head as he stood straighter, “Akira asked me.”
A smile broke out on the doctor’s face, “I see. Well you’ll be needing these then.” He held out a bag. “Everything on the boys you have there. Be careful with them.”
“Yes.” Raven shot into the room. “Raven?”
“He’s here!”
“Who?”
Just then Falcon came into the room. “Found you.” Daisuke was in the room a few seconds later. “Daisuke he’s the one Hawk told me about.” When he didn’t answer Falcon looked back, “Daisuke?”
“Mitch? What…?” The onyx eyed man pushed past the doctor as he walked up to him. His eyes were on the bundle in his arms. “Are?”
“Yeah. There’s a third.” He motioned to Zero. The young man jumped when he looked at him.
The doctor hooked the bag onto Zero’s shoulder, “Get them out of here. I’ll stall as long as I can.” Then he was gone.
Raven hid behind Zero when Falcon gave him a dark look. “I don’t like the way he’s looking at me.” Then he pointed as Daisuke, “Him, he has the same aura as you and Akira.”
Mitch stepped forward, “What the hell’s going on?”
Zero turned and then quickly headed for the door. He was stopped by Raven tugging on the hat. It came off. The hair he had tucked up into the hat fell out. They watched as he tried to walk out only Daisuke barred his way. He held the child close as Daisuke asked, “How old are you?”
The dark haired courier tugged on Zero’s hair. “Zero, answer him. It’s him he looks almost like Akira. Or Akira looks like him… how does it go?”
He looked away as he muttered something, “What I didn’t hear that?”
“Daisuke we don’t have time!”
“Speak up I need to hear you.”
“Twenty-one.”
“When?”
He swallowed and went to shake his head. Raven was in front of Daisuke. “It was the beginning of summer.” Turning to Zero he shook his head, “You really need to stop second guessing yourself!”
“Sorry…”
Looking back at Daisuke he quickly said, “He’s related to you and Akira. I don’t know how but your auras are almost the same. Even the file on Zero said he was.” He glanced at the two. “We can talk about this later. Akira asked us to do one thing and we need to do it.”
Mitch spoke up, “Where is Akira?”
“He’s attacking Caelan.”
“Falcon, help them out.” Daisuke was running out the door.
Caramel eyes looked at Zero as he walked up to him, “If Akira asked then he trusts you. Not that many get his trust right off the bat. Come on let’s get these kids home.”
Zero nodded as he followed Mitch. Raven and Falcon shot ahead of the two to find a clear path. When there wasn’t Mitch took care of it quickly. They turned a corner and caught sight of the door closing. “Falcon, go get Zev!”
The older messenger disappeared from sight. Mitch shifted the two in his arm. He stopped and with quick movements wrote symbols in the air. A circle formed as his gun came up. “Zero duck!”
He didn’t even ask as he felt the hairs on his neck stand up. Dropping to his knees he covered the child with his body. A loud crack sounded and then static filled the air. He was being tugged to his feet by Mitch. “Let’s go!” They ran under the door to find a group of guards around them. “Shit…” They stood back to back as they watched the guards. “How fast can you run?”
The younger brunette made a sound.
“Come on now’s not the time to freak out.” He held his gun up as he hissed something else under his breath. Then he growled, “Where is that damn wolf?” They walked closer and Mitch held his gun steady.
A howl cut through the air. The guards all tensed and looked around.
“About damn time!” Four large wolves came tearing out of the woods. He saw the black wolf cut further ahead of them. A few of the guards forms changed and they ran at the wolves. Mitch started to take out a few of the guards busy watching the wolves. “Get to the forest now!” Zero was already heading that way.
He let out a shout as a bullet grazed his shoulder. As that happened another howl came from off to the side. His eyes went wide as a large black dog leapt over him. Its jaws attached to one of the guardsmen’s throat. As it turned to look at him it vanished in a puff of smoke. Mitch tugged at the stunned Zero’s arm. “Move.”
Zev was soon running after them. The other wolves pulled back and where soon following him. Once they cleared the trees Keir was standing up. “What’s going…?”
“We’re running. They’re going to be right behind us.”
The black wolf snagged his sleeve and pulled hard as he ran by. “Damn it Zev!” There was a growl as he let go. The vampire sighed. Once the other wolves ran into the clearing he was soon following after them.
Zero let out a shout when Zev tossed him on his back. Mitch stopped as Nathan came up to him and he climbed on. “We need to go quick.”
They all disappeared into the woods as the guards crashed into the clearing. They looked around. A few were shouting orders to find them and others were running back to the building. They were going to need more help to search the woods.
The group slipped into the tent with the babies. “Karen!”
The woman turned to find them all in the tent. “What’s going on?”
Mitch was off Nathan’s back and pulling Zero to the ground. “We got them. Akira pulled a stupid move but it worked.”
Marianela walked over as Mitch unwrapped the jacket. She looked at the two small babies. “Where’s the third?”
He turned to Zero and the young man unwrapped his to show the baby with two wolf ears. Zero flinched away when a shadow fell over him. Zev held his hands up when he jumped, the child held close to him. “Sorry didn’t mean to scare you.”
Zero shook his head then held the child out to him. “H-here.” When the child left his arms he quickly took a few steps back when an arm looped around his. He squeaked and looked at the white haired woman.
“Now don’t be so startled. Come on let’s have a little talk I want to know more about what happened with Akira.” When he didn’t move she tugged slightly. “Come now while papa wolf is distracted.”
He glanced back and the quickly followed her. Once he was outside he saw her sitting on a stump. “W-why?”
“Easy. We need to have a little talk about why you did what you did.”
He lowered his head and poked his two index fingers together. To her he looked like a little kid about to be scolded. “But…”
“No buts sit.” He sat right there and she pursed her lips together. She didn’t like the way he followed orders so blindly. “Why did you do what you did?”
His black eyes were fixed on his fingers as they fiddled with his shirt.
“Zeroun!” The young man jumped and clapped in hands over his head. He shook it as he whimpered.
“Not me.” His head kept shaking. “Not me. Not my name!”
“It is your name.”
He pushed harder against his ears. “Shut up!” The hissing in his head was growing louder, followed by louder shouts and threats. “Just shut up!”
She turned to the forest when a low growl sounded. Her eyes narrowed. “So you’d turn down a name your own parents gave you.”
He froze and looked at her, “What do…” His mouth clicked shut as eyes darted around.
“Levana?”
She looked at Mitch standing there. His eyes glanced at Zero who was looking at him over his shoulder. Then his eyes looked off to the trees, “So is he well Dai-”
Levana hissed at the man, “Shhhhhh! Get out here and keep quiet.”
Mitch knelt and looked at the young man, “He has Daisuke’s eyes.”
“His name is Zeroun.”
“Not my name!”
She sighed, “Obviously he doesn’t like his own name.”
“Or they called him another from a young age.” He looked at him. “I don’t see any visible marks.”
Her head shook. She turned to glance over her shoulder once again. Did she hear a soft rustle? “Are you talking about Akira’s barcode?”
“Yeah.” He reached out to touch Zero. The male flinched away as a soft growl filled the area. “I’m not going to hurt you.” His fingers touched his head as he brushed the fringe from his forehead. “He looks like Ellen.”
“You think so to?”
“Yeah. Even dad would agree. If he didn’t hide behind his fringe like Akira does.” He pulled his hand back and then held it out in a friendly manner. “Can I see your hand?”
“Why?” He shifted away from him. The brunette had seen what the other brunette was capable of.
“Worst I can do is use a few spells right now.” He motioned for his hand. “Come on.” A friendly smile was on his face.
“Mitch what are you planning to do?” A smile was tossed her way after she said her question.
He quickly snagged his hand only to find himself flipped over onto his back. Zero scrambled back and away. The younger male ended up sitting halfway behind Levana. Mitch gave a groan as he rolled over. “Shit……” He glared at the hiding male, “Damn he’s worse than Akira.”
“More like a skittish rabbit whereas Akira is like a cornered cat.” She reached back to gently pet him on the head. “It’s okay. He just wants to see what you can do.” The soft voice had him slowly moving back to Mitch. He looked at her and then held his hand out. Levana nodded. Then he jumped when a sharp pain went up his arm.
He tried to pull away only to let out a shout from the heat. The male dropped to his knees and gripped his arm. The flap of the tent was pulled to the side, “What’s going on…” Zev was cut off when a large black dog flew out of nowhere. He was in his wolf form within the second. He was growling and then a gun went off.
Mitch was aiming the gun at where the vaporizing dog just stood. He soon turned his gun towards the woods behind Levana. Glancing at the male he growled, “Call him off!”
There was a growl as another black animal came rushing out, this one was a fox. Red paws stepped forward. While red tipped ears flicked back as a snarl sounded from the fox. The top part of the muzzle up between the eyes and along the top part of its head was red. Emerald green eyes seemed to glow brighter as the snarl grew louder.
Levana stood. She turned and set a cool gaze on the fox. A growl ripped from Zev. Her hand was held out, “Zev you stay there!”
He growled louder.
“I mean it!”
As the large fox stalked forward Mitch shouted, “Call him off!”
Zero was watching as it moved closer to Levana. He shook his head, “Not me… I… I…”
The black wolf ducked as a blue and black dog came tearing out of the tent. Even though he was way smaller than the black fox he was able to knock it on its side. The both of them went down snarling and biting.
Mitch shook his shoulder, “Tell him to stop!”
Zero heard a yelp and watched as the fox ripped into the smaller dogs shoulder. He turned when there was a loud cry. The blond was about to run over when she was snatched up by Zev. Ransom landed right where she had been standing. His form clambered to his feet and jumped at the fox. “Ransom!”
A dull throb was forming as he covered his ears. It was too loud. That heat was gone but he couldn’t get his head to stop hurting. The fight was getting louder. There was a shout and it grew quiet. Opening his eyes he found everyone looking at him. That’s when he realized he had just shouted.
Mitch sighed, “Thanks Zero.” He looked up at Mitch and then shrugged as he looked at his feet.
Ransom gave a whine as he laid there. Marianela elbowed Zev in the nose causing him to yelp and let go. She rushed over to him, “Oh god Ransom!” Her hand ran over his head as he shifted back. “Can you stand?” He tried to stand as Levana walked over to the black and red fox.
“Show yourself.”
The fox yawned and looked up at the sky. Her eyebrow twitched as a smirk appeared on the fox’s face. Then it flopped onto the ground. Eyes slid closed and everyone who knew Levana gave a nervous laugh.
Zero winced when a loud yelp came from the fox.
“Evil bitch!” Green eyes blinked and then looked down. “How that hell!?” A male who was shorter then Zev but taller than Zero sat there holding his head where Levana had slugged him. Green eyes flashed with anger and his wild chin length red and black hair was bristling. He had on a tank top and jean shorts that stopped at his knees. A black tail flicked behind him. His skin that was showing was a natural olive tan.
“Now who are you?”
“Like I’m telling ya!” He turned his head away from her to the side. A scowl was on his face. She just watched him and waved her hand.
“Be that way Kindle.” Kindle’s eyes snapped to her and he glared at the woman. Levana walked over to Ransom, “How are you feeling?”
“Like my shoulder is about to fall off.” His teeth gritted as pain shot through his shoulder again. “Looks like… I’m not going in now.”
Marianela snorted, “Of course not Akira would rip you a new one right after I do.” He gave a soft laugh only to wince in pain. “Come on let’s get you inside so you can get patched up.”
As soon as they were inside Zev was by Mitch, “Where the hell did that black dog come from?”
“Well you’re not going to like this…” Before he could say anything Mitch spoke louder so the wolf couldn’t interrupt him. “But… he doesn’t know he did it.”
Blue eyes narrowed, “Who?”
He glanced over his shoulder at the male still sitting on the ground. His hands pulled at the shirt he was wearing. Zev made to rush over only a sharp tug on his tail had the wolf yelping. He snagged his tail form Mitch and growled at him. “It’s a failsafe or something like that.” The brunette walked past him up to the younger male. His hand grabbed his shoulder causing the male to jump.
A growl came from Kindle but he didn’t move from his spot.
Levana walked over to the younger male and she grabbed his hands. “Look at me.” Black eyes looked at her. Her voice took on a soothing tone, “Relax. Listen and relax.” As she spoke her thumbs ran over the back of his hands. “Are you relaxed?”
He gave a barely there nodded.
“Good. Everything is alright. You feel any pain?”
He did but he shook his head. “No…” Loud noises gave him a headache the quiet was better. She sighed and kept an eye on his face.
“Now, tell me what has happened to you to cause this pain.” Dull black eyes watched the ground as his head nodded slightly. Her brows creased as she caught images from his mind. “Tell me what happened. You’re safe here. Tell me.”
“He said I was useless… annoying…” His hands tightened on hers. “He would corner me… please don’t…” Zero ripped his hands away and covered his head. “Shut up! Shut up… don’t talk…” Kindle moved over but Levana yanked him back away. He growled at her but she knocked him over the head. A curse and he pouted, but green eyes watched Zero.
Mitch looked at Levana, “What did you see?”
Her eyes were dark as she looked at Mitch, “Something far worse. He’ll need more time to get over it.” She looked at Kindle, “You stay here and don’t move.” Then she stood to walk into the tent. “Zev get your ass in here.” He didn’t move. “I’m not asking!” The wolf growled and walked into the tent after her, hands shoved deep into his pockets.
Zero jumped when there was movement next to him. His black eyes saw Mitch looking at him, “I’m Mitch. So I guess we’re family then.” He thumped him on the forehead. “Don’t look so surprised. Ask Akira when you see him next.” Standing, he petted the younger brunette on the head. “Got any questions just ask me.”
Black eyes glanced at Kindle as a small body flopped on top of his head. “Ze-ro! Are you okay?” The dark haired messenger was hanging upside down in his face.
He smiled, “Yeah.”
~~~

Akira let out a gasp of pain as he hit the wall. Diter had him pined to the wall with his arm pressed to his throat. “So you found out.” He could feel his arm scream in pain from where Diter almost broke it. Blood was dripping down the side of his face and his side where he had been nicked by the sword. It was pissing Akira off that he couldn’t land more than two hits on the bastard. While Diter was able to get in a few good punches and slice him up good.

“Bas…tard!”

“Must feel great knowing you weren’t there to protect your family.” That grin spread across his face as Akira gave a choked growl. “The best part was that he would always cry for someone but didn’t know who he was crying for. It was fun torment him. I’m actually happy you left him behind I would have been bored.”

Dark stormy gray eyes paled and everything just snapped. He slammed his knee into Diter’s jaw. The raven haired male stumbled back growling. Rubbing his jaw he ran at Akira. Akira stood there. He side stepped the blade as Diter stumbled and he smirked. The long dagger was shoved into his shoulder. He caught the choked pain that the man gave as he dropped to the ground. Reaching back he pulled it out just as Akira grabbed his head in his hands. He slammed his head against the wall and then onto the floor. Where he pinned Diter’s arms to his sides with his body causing the man to panic slightly.

Reaching down he yanked his head up by grabbing a fist full of hair. Leaning over, he purred out, “I should kill you.” He wrenched the dagger out of his hand. The point was pressed against his jugular as he tightened his grip. “No you’d like that right.” He pressed harder causing a drop of blood to slide down the blade. A wicked smirk crossed his face at the sight of the blood.

There was a clapping sound behind them and he glanced over his shoulder. “Well done.” The smirk turned into a frown. “Don’t be like that Akira. I let you finish your fight instead of jumping in and killing you both.”

There was a rasp, “What do you mean by both?”

There was a loud crack as Akira slammed his face into the floor. He pulled the head up. “Shut up or I’ll gut you like a fish.”

They all stopped when a large black hole appeared. A few seconds past before it closed and Daisuke slammed his shoulder into Caelan. The raven haired man stumbled and quickly regained his balance to pull out a black hilted broadsword. The two clashed as Akira watched.

A sharp pain erupted in the back of his head. This gave Diter enough time to flip the brunette and pin him. Dazed, Akira shook his head to clear it. That’s when his arms were forced to an odd angle and he let out a shouted curse as it gave a crack. The weapon clattered to the ground which was slammed against the side of his head. His head lolled forward and everything went dark.

Daisuke faltered at the shout and Caelan smirked. He swung his sword at Daisuke and the man ducked. Twisting his body Daisuke would have landed a hit if the site he saw didn’t stop him. Akira had a knife pressed to his throat his eyes closed and breathing labored. “I think you know what to do.”

He tossed his weapons down and hung his head with his arms out. “You win this time.”

Caelan watched as the two were taken away then he looked at his sword. A frown was in place. Turning when he heard the curse from beside him he said swiftly, “I’ll be leaving.” He was aware of the feet following him and then he turned quickly.

Diter’s shocked face had him smirking. “W…hy?” His hands gripped the blade that was now sticking out of his back. He coughed up blood. “Fa…” With a sharp yank the word was cut off as Diter’s body dropped to the floor. His fingers reached out as he watched Caelan turn.

“You were never my child.”

Everything blurred and he gave a shudder as the cold started to consume him. A hand covered his eyes and it grew dark. ‘Why?’

“Shhhh, sleep child don’t fight it.” He gave a soft sigh as the whisper was heard again. “Sleep…”
~~~
Levana glanced at Zero who was sitting on a chair with Mitch a few feet away. “He’s far more broken than Akira. It will take time for him to heal.” She looked at Zev. “You may be pissed at him but Akira trusted him.”
The black wolf growled, “He’s the reason Akira is in there!”
“According to his thoughts he was only trying to find a way to get out. He didn’t know Akira was his brother only that he need to find him in order to find his brother. Everything happens for a reason Zev. Akira trusts him and that all that matters.”
“But…”
Her eyes challenged him to finish that sentence and his jaw clicked shut. She could tell he was tense from the way he clenched his teeth. He gave an aggravated sigh. The two of them turned when Marianela pushed a curtain to the side and walked over to them. “Levana there are two people here who keep asking for Daisuke.”
“Let them back here.”
She nodded and soon Rainer and Tito walked out. “Leavan? What are you doing…” Tito saw the young man sitting in the chair. “Is that?”
“Yes the youngest. Zeroun but he’ll say it isn’t his name. So I guess its Zero for now.”
“Is he alright?”
“He’s fine.” She looked at Rainer who was watching Zev. “Oh yeah Zev this is Rainer.” The two were staring at each other.
“Sooo… you’re the wolf who snatched up Akira?”
Zev crossed his arms as he growled out. “What’s it to you?”
“You better do everything in your power to bring him back in one piece or I’ll skin your hide.”
The black wolf growled at the threat only to be stopped when Levana’s sharp tone cut through the air. “Now is not the time to argue we need to be ready to save both of them when the moon is full. That’s in two days.” She watched as Zev turned from Rainer a growl came from him as he pushed the curtain aside only to yank it closed behind him. Turning to Rainer she narrowed her eyes. “And you stop trying to challenge an Alpha wolf are you trying to break that damn truce!?”
He folded his arms and gave a grunt. Tito sighed as he watched Zero. “Poor kid he’ll need to be somewhere where he can get some relaxing done.”
“I’ll talk to Akira about it.”
“Akira? Why not Daisuke?” His eyes widened at the look in Levana’s eyes. “Is… Daisuke he can’t…”
“I only see what is to come. Not everything is set in stone.”
Even Rainer looked away when Tito glanced at him. They both knew something would happen but they all assumed… Levana looked back at Zero. “Let’s just hope a good ending is chosen. For the sake of both of these children let’s hope they can out do even the Fates.”
