David's Ex (Half Chapter)

David’s Ex

David

David stood holding a mimosa in each had and the interaction between Cass and Alex finally ended. Nobody else saw it, but he did. Alex was going to try and win her back and, from the looks of it, he wasn’t going to have to work hard.

“Of course.” He said to himself looking down at the glasses. One after the other he shot the both down before stopping a waiter to dump the glasses and make his way down to the crowd. He rubbed at  his head a moment before realizing Cass had rejoined him, “Hey there, I thought you’d never save me.”

“Right, you just seemed busy with Alexander is all.”

Cass looked confused before a couple making their way through the crowd joined them. David readied for a hollow interaction when he realized the woman and her husband who had joined them was none other than his ex-girlfriend, Tatiana Doprev.

Tatiana was six-two with the body of a playboy bunny and thick blonde hair with blue eyes to match. She was a hair under forty but looked a day over twenty with her twenty-five year-old husband Randy at her side. Tatiana had been with David for one reason, a bribe from his mother, and kicked him to the curb when that purpose was fulfilled. She left David in a million pieces but made strange attempts to contact him over the years.

“David, it is so good to see you.”

“Tatiana, why are you here?” He was smiling and had a cheerful tone but his question was harsh and he was irritated by her presence. It cheered him up a bit to see that Cass had grown a bit defensive as well.

“Your mother invited me. Oh David, it is so good to see you!” She hugged him, pushing her breasts into his face.

David looked up at her husband who was surprisingly silent before Tatiana explained, “Don’t mind him. He doesn’t speak English. So who is this, David?”

“This is my date.” He pushed a smile as he handed a drink to Cassandra and she extended a hand.

Tatiana didn’t shake but instead continued to address David rudely, “Your mother tells me she’s married. Is that true? Oh the scandal!”

Cassandra looked to David for assistance. He jumped, “They are separated.”

“Ok, I can see you two need a moment.” Cassandra handed David the glass back before turning and leaving.

David felt immediately guilty as she couldn’t have known why he was upset. As he tried to turn and go with her, Tatiana spoke in Russian to her husband which sent him off before she was able to place a soft hand on his shoulder and draw his attention again.

“David, you seem so well. You really landed a pretty one, didn’t you.”

“Don’t, Tatiana. I know what you are doing and it won’t work.”

“And what am I doing?” Before he knew it, she’d reached down and grazed her hand over his cock. David jumped back and looked around as his face went red. She giggled, “You always hated that.”

“I still do!” He lowered his voice, “I guess marriage can’t even change you.”

“Would you want it to?”

“Listen, cards on the table, Cassandra’s ex came here with my sister so I’m on edge. However, that hasn’t softened my distaste for you and your ways.”

“My ways?” She laughed, “You didn’t mind them for two years.”

“The two most miserable years of my life.”

As he felt himself growing angry, a clinging of a glass drew attention to the stage. It was time for the weeks speeches to begin.

“This isn’t over, David. I know you still want me.”

He didn’t respond. Much like a serpent, he allowed her to slither off hoping it was the last time they’d have to talk again. His mission now would be to find Cassandra and apologize.
