Chapter Six
Keigo put his beaten up brother down on the couch and stood with his arms crossed in front of him. “Are you ready to tell me now Yuto?” he asked his brother with a grim look on his face. “Tell you what? There is nothing to tell Keigo,” Yuto replied as he lay down on his couch, resting his head on the soft cushion. “I happen to think that you do have something to tell me Yuto!” Keigo snapped at his brother. “Fuck you Keigo. I don't have to tell you anything." Yuto snapped right back at Keigo. He shut his eyes to avoid the angry look in his brother’s eyes. “Fine. Have it your way Yuto. Next time you need someone to bring back your beat up body, don't bother to call me, get someone else.” With that said, Keigo walked away and went out the front door, slamming it shut right behind him. He got into his car and drove away, angry at his idiot brother for not telling him a fucking damn thing. Fuck it, he needed a drink. Keigo made a right turn and drove to the closest bar. --------------
Seiya gulped down his tenth glass of whiskey and slammed it down on the table. He looked up at the bartender and demanded another glass in a drunken voice. Akari was dead and it was all his fault, Seiya thought to himself as he gulped down his eleventh glass and demanded another one. He made a promise to Sena, and fuck him for letting Sena down. Would Sena forgive him when he saw him on the other side, or would he be angry with him for letting Akari die when he could have prevented it from happening? “When did you learn how to drink Sena?” Even in his drunken state, Seiya knew right away who the voice belonged to. He turned his head to the side with drunken red eyes and smirked at Keigo. “When you cruelly dumped me, bastard,” he replied and went back to his whiskey. Before he could drink it, Keigo snatched it from him and drank it for him. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing bastard? Get your own drink jerk-face!” Seiya scowled at Keigo and ordered another one. “Oh no you don't!” said Keigo firmly and he dragged Sena out of the bar with him. “Let me go, you bastard! What the hell is your problem?” a drunken Seiya yelled as soon as they were out of the bar. “My problem is that I don't like seeing you in this condition Sena. I much prefer the Sena from five years ago,” Keigo remarked with a disappointed look on his face. “Well screw you bastard, because the Sena you knew back then is no longer here and do you know who fault it is? It’s yours! It’s all your fault,” Seiya said, and right after he said it he vomited right in front of the bar and staggered backwards. He would have fallen down if Keigo had not caught him in time. He glared at Keigo with his drunken eyes. “I hate you Keigo...” Seiya managed to say before he went out cold in Keigo’s arms.
Keigo stared down at Sena with a regretful look in his eyes. “Have you ever heard of the saying, if you love them, let them go even if it means hurting them?” He spoke softly into the cold night wind to the sleeping Sena before he carried him to his car. As Keigo drove away from the bar, Kyouya’s men who were keeping their eyes on Seiya called Kyouya up and reported everything they witnessed to their boss. Kyouya was in the middle of something when his men called him up. He listened to their report and told them to return to him after letting them know that he would take care of the boy tomorrow. He hung up and stared at the person in front of him with a sinister smile on his lips. He pulled his pistol out, aimed it at the person’s head and fired it without mercy. -------------------
Seiya’s eyes slowly opened the next morning. He shielded the bright sunlight with his right hand and slowly sat up with a pounding headache. He felt like his head was about to explode. It took him a few minutes to realize that he was in a strange bed wearing a pair of pajamas that did not belong to him. Once he realized that he was not at home, he became fully awake. His eyes immediately went to the huge picture of Sena and Keigo hanging on the wall in front of him. His memory of meeting Keigo at the bar came back to him and he knew instantly that he was at Keigo’s home. Seiya let his eyes survey the whole bedroom. The room was decorated in a nice shade of blue. It was his brother’s favorite color. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a picture of Sena by himself in his favorite blue shirt that he had bought for him on their seventeenth birthday. In the picture, Sena was holding a white and orange kitten and smiling brightly for the camera. He got out of bed and went to pick up the picture. He stared at it and tears from missing his brother escaped from his eyes. He looked up when he heard the door creak open. “Why did you bring me here?” he asked Keigo softly as he set the picture back in its place on the table. “No particular reason,” replied Keigo as he leaned against the door with his eyes on Sena. “Your wife is not going to like it when she sees me here,” Seiya said and he looked around for his clothes. “There is no need for you to worry about her. I am not that stupid to bring you to the house I share with her, Sena.” Keigo answered. “Then where am I?” Seiya asked with his eyes on Keigo. “At the house we bought together,” Keigo replied. “I don't blame you for forgetting about it Sena. After all I did cruelly dump you three weeks after we bought the place.” Now that Keigo mentioned it, Seiya seemed to remember Sena telling him something about having bought a house with Keigo with his entire savings. He recalled the happy look on his brother’s face when Sena told him, but that happy face was soon replaced with sadness three weeks after. “I hate you!” he told Keigo. “I hate you with a passion.” Seiya couldn't help but wonder why his brother fell for this cruel man in front of him. “I know,” said Keigo and he slowly came toward Sena. He stood in front of Sena and reached up to gently touch Sena’s cheek. “I”m sorry,” he uttered softly with regret. Seiya slapped Keigo’s hand away and turned to walk away, wanting to distance himself from Keigo, but Keigo wouldn't let him. He spun around with eyes burning with the fire of hate. “Let go of my hand Keigo! You have no right to touch me,” he growled out. “Let me kiss you once for old time’s sake,” Keigo said as he leaned forward. 'Wha---” Seiya’s word were cut off when Keigo’s mouth made contact with his. He stood in shock and horror as his heart beat faster than he ever thought it could. He snapped himself out of it and roughly pushed Keigo away. His fist then connected hard against the side of Keigo’s face, punching Keigo with all his might. “You son of a bitch!” Seiya shouted out loud, his hand still in a tight fist. He stared furiously at Keigo as he waited for his heart to stop racing. “Try that again and this time I'll knock your teeth out bastard,” he warned Keigo. “I've apologized. What more do you want Sena?” Keigo asked. “Your apology is five years too late Keigo,” Seiya said with a sad look in his eyes that quickly vanished just as fast as it had come. He whirled around and walked out of the bedroom. He grabbed his shoes and left through the front door without bothering to close the door behind him. Only after he got himself into a taxi did he realize that he still had Keigo’s pajamas on, and not only that but the key Sena had given him was not on him where it should be. Fuck, he thought. -----------
Seiya sat in a cafe half an hour later, drinking a nice hot coffee and ignoring the other customers who were staring at him like he was some crazy lunatic just because he had pajamas on. He quietly sipped his coffee as he tried to figure out what to do. Should he go to his mother’s house or back to Akari? If he returned to Akari’s he would have to face the bastard Yuto, and he didn't think that he could prevent himself from becoming a murderer if he saw the bastard. He had no doubt in his mind that Yuto was the one who killed Akari. Now how does he goes about finding evidence to prove his suspicion he thought as he blew his hot coffee. “There you are boy!” Seiya heard from behind him. He knew right away that it was none other than Kyouya. A frown quickly came on his face and he turned his head to glare at the annoying man. “What do you want?” Seiya growled out as he set his coffee mug down. “Nice pajamas. May I ask who they belong to?” Kyouya asked his own question, completely ignoring the boy’s question to him as he sat down across from the boy. “To no one in particular,” replied Seiya, not bothering to hide his annoyance with the damn man. “Boy, do I have to remind you that you are my lover now?” Kyouya reminded the boy with half a smirk and enjoyed the reaction he got from the boy. “Do me a favor and go to hell!” retorted Seiya, getting very pissed off at Kyouya for reminding him of his stupid decision. The damn man took advantage of his situation. If he was in a clearer state of mind last night he wouldn't have signed the damn contract. “Regret it already?” remarked Kyouya as he waved the waitress over to order his own cup of coffee. “You got that right!” snapped Seiya and to his horror, he saw Keigo come walking towards him with a shopping bag in his hand. Fuck, just what he needed, two bastards to irritate him. He cast a hostile glare at Keigo and ignored him when he reached his table. “I was on my way to return your clothes back to you Sena when I happened to see you sitting in this cafe drinking coffee,” Keigo said in a grim voice. “So I figured that I might as well just bring it in. It saves me the trouble of having to drive all the way back,” he added and placed the black shopping bag on the empty chair. “Thank you,” muttered Seiya bitterly. “I trust that you also have my other belongings in there as well?” He of course was referring to the key he wore around his neck. “I believe so,” replied Keigo, and he turned to introduce himself to Kyouya. “I’m Keigo. Nice to meet you sir. Who might you be?” Keigo forced himself to ask. “I’m Kyouya,” Kyouya returned the introduction with a fake smile. “I am also Sena’s lover. May I ask why you have my lover’s clothes?” he asked even though he had already knew the reason. “You can ask your lover that,” replied Keigo. He turned and walked away with a look filled with pain and anger that Seiya didn't miss as he left. “You look like you want to run after him boy,” Kyouya commented as soon as Keigo left them alone. A surprised look came over Seiya. “Hell no. Why in the world would I want to run after him? You have no idea how much I hate that man!” he retorted angrily. “Do you know boy that love and hate go together.” Kyouya remarked. “There is a saying that says the more you hate someone, the more you love them.” “What? Are you a scholar now?” Seiya sneered and finished up his coffee. Kyouya chuckled with amusement. The boy never failed to entertain him. ----------
Keigo was in a really foul mood when he got to his office. He sat down in his chair and yanked the top drawer open. He took out the picture of Sena and stared at it really hard. “What are you trying to do to me Sena? Is this your way of getting back at me? Shit! Fuck it! Damn it Sena, it hurts like hell to learn that you are in the arms of another man. Why the fuck can’t I move on from you?” he asked the photograph in his hand. The phone on his desk rang and with a sigh he picked it up, even though he wasn't in the mood to talk. “Hello?” was all he got out. “Keigo, my father is dead!” he heard his wife announce to him in a tearful voice. “Shot right in the head Keigo,” his wife added. The funny thing was that he didn't feel the slightest bit sad for that bastard father in law of his. In fact he wanted to jump up in joy over his death. “Calm down. I will be there in a bit,” he told his wife and then he hung up. --------------
“Listen boy,” Kyouya said when they reached his house. “I will be gone for three days starting tomorrow. Make yourself at home while I’m gone,” he told the boy as he took off his jacket. “My men will be keeping their eyes on you, so don't do anything that I wouldn't do,” he warned Seiya. “Why the hell do I have to stay with you?” Seiya mumbled in annoyance. “What exactly do you think that I would be doing that you felt the need to warn me jerk face?” he added. “You are my lover now boy. It only makes sense that you stay with me,” came Kyouya’s reply. "As for the other question, I don't think I need to answer it. I think that you knew exactly what I mean boy,” Kyouya added. Then he went down the hall and into his study. “Asshole!” Seiya swore and went to the room that was given to him last night that he never got a chance to use. He opened the door and then shut it, and made sure he locked it as well. He dumped his clothes from the bag and searched for the key. He cursed loudly when he didn't find it. Fuck! Shit! That bastard didn't return it. “I am so going to kill him!” Seiya quickly changed into a new shirt and pair of pants and slammed the door shut behind him as he left. -------------------
“Seriously Taiga, you are just going to go along with Akari’s plan for those bastards?” Takashi asked his younger brother as they waited for their order. “I see nothing wrong with it, and besides Akari is the patient. If she doesn't want them to know the truth, then who am I to say no?” “In another words, it is none of your business, as long as she recovers smoothly,” remarked Takashi. Taiga shook his head. “Don't you think that her husband might try to kill her again if he was told that she is alive and on her road to recovery?” “You have a point there Taiga. I wouldn't leave anything past those two bastards. In fact I am starting to think that they had something to do with Sena’s death.” Takashi flat out said what he had been thinking for a while since his wife had mentioned the fact about the mark on around Sena’s throat. Taiga eyes widened at what he heard. “You are not seriously thinking that Sena was murdered are you Takashi?” “I am Taiga. I am starting to consider it after my wife mentioned the odd facts about Sena’s death,” Takashi told his younger brother. “If you think so, I could ask my friend at the police department to look into it,” Taiga said as their food arrived. “That would be great Taiga,” came Takashi’s reply. They started to eat their food since Taiga had to return to work in an hour. They were done eating and on their way out when Takashi’s phone rang. It was a number he didn't recognize but he decided to answer it anyway and he sure was glad he did. “Takashi,” said Seiya from the other end of the line as he got into a taxi. “Damn you Seiya! Where the hell have you been? I have been trying to get a hold of you!” Takashi yelled into the phone as Taiga told him to quiet down. “It is a long story. I'll tell you tonight,” replied Seiya from his end of the line. “Yeah, you better have a real good story because I got some bad news for you Seiya. It is about Aka—“ “Takashi, could whatever you have to tell me wait until you see me tonight? Right now I have to catch up to a certain bastard and get my key back.” Seiya cut his brother off when he spotted Keigo getting into a car. He hung up, paid the driver and made haste out of the taxi. -----
“Keigo, where the hell do you think you are going? Get right back here and comfort me!” Keigo heard his wife screaming at him as she came running to his car. From his rearview mirror he saw Sena heading his way as well. “What more do you want me to do Mio? You called and I came,” Keigo said to his wife coldly, keeping his eyes on the rearview mirror. “Keigo, how could you sound so cold to me? We are husband and wife for God’s sake. We even have a son together,” his wife Mio said with teary red eyes. “And I love my son very much. I wish I could say the same for you Mio,” Keigo told his wife just as Seiya reached them. Seiya shoved Keigo’s wife to the side and pulled open the car door. He dragged Keigo out roughly from inside the car and punched his face hard. “Give me back my key you bastard!” he yelled angrily. “That key is very important to me. Give it back now!” he demanded loudly. “You? You sick bastard! What the hell do you think you’re doing?” Keigo’s wife shouted, pointing her finger at Seiya who couldn’t have cared less about what she thought of him. “Get your faggot hands off my husband at once!” That did it .Seiya turned away from Keigo and stared at Keigo’s wife. “I might be a faggot or whatever else you want to call me woman, but at least I am not a conniving bitch who asked her father to rape her husband’s boyfriend three weeks before her wedding.” That shut Mio up good. Seiya was completely satisfied with her reaction as he turned his attention back to Keigo. “My key. You have it don't you,” he snapped at Keigo. Keigo was still trying to process what he had just heard from Sena’s mouth, so he just nodded his head as he stared at his wife. His eyes reflected his hatred for the woman. One of the reasons why he broke up with Sena so cruelly was because the bitch had promised him that she wouldn't harm him. “Expect a phone call from my lawyer tomorrow,” Keigo told his wife Mio and got into his car. “If you want the key hop in,” he said to Sena. Seiya went around and got into the car. As they drove away, Kyouya’s men who had been keeping watch on Seiya, called up their boss and reported everything they had heard and seen.
