Darkness
DARKNESS (Part One)
Poem From: Book of Doom

(A/N: This is part one of a two part rhyming poem)
Lost in the pleasure of my sin
Wonder if I'll see you again?
If I go blind, even if I can't see
This image is burned inside of me
Within my darkness, I see your light
A flicker and then it's out of sight
Inside this darkness, I've learned to sit
I cringe before I feel the hit
Turn around and there it is
It's really going to get me pissed
Look at the world, at all the pain
This nirvana of desire would drive one insane
It only looks real, love's actually fake
At every advantage point it'll take
In all the things I've learned to do
I was taught in a life I never knew
Deep within the bowels of Hell
This is the story only Lucifer tells
Try as hard as you need, you can not win
This is as far as I've ever been
Tell my family that I'm gone
If only this didn't all go wrong
Fighting for my judgement to forgive
I'll also fight for my right to live
My time has come; to battle I go
On the ground, my crimson may flow
Even though I'm scared, I will not cry
No matter the challenge, I was born to try
Fuck this world, I care only for me
I have the weapon, now it's time to bleed
Will you forgive my random acts of madness?
I only do it out of deep sadness
And now it's time for me to go
Is this really the end, or do you know?
