In Darkness Cloaked

Flair shuddered she was involuntarily pulled into a flashback, her mind drifted back to her past. She saw herself so real a young woman of nineteen walking down the darknened streets.



The year had been 1846 and she was just returning to the inn she stayed at, her young body was tired from hours of strenuous work as a maid for a very rich family.



She had no family and so she had learned to be strong, learned to take care of herself.



There was a chill in the air and a thin fog that made the night all the more creepy and she hastened her steps, eager to get home and rest.



She didn't see him, didn't hear him following her until it was too late and she was grabbed so suddenly and roughly that the wind was knocked out of her as she was slammed to an alley wall and her dress was ripped from her body.



She saw the terrifying look in his eyes--so beastly as he began to ravage her, there was no gentleness within him and though she had been such a strong person--she did not fight him. She was too shocked and simply stood there as he forced himself inside her, her eyes going wide and a scream tearing from her lips as he stole her innocence.



Flair had never really had time for a lover, though she had had a few gentlemen callers.



She felt the blood dripping down her thighs as he roughly pounded away and she fell into a daze, where her mind was somewhere else but she still made pained noises from every brutal thrust.



When he was finished and she had felt him spill his seed inside her, she saw his face shift and she couldn't even scream as his eyes seemed to glow red and fangs sprouted which soon pierced her neck and sucked away her blood.



She felt her life slipping away and she couldn't help but see her mother's face, she felt only numbness as her heart slowed and tears slid from her eyes.



Her only consolation was that she would see her mother again and her father.
