College Orientation, Part Two
The Perfect
6. College Orientation, Part Two
Talan woke up to Fergie blasting loudly in the hall outside his dorm room. Jason woke up to the sound as well.
“Mornin’,” Jason smiled.
“Hey,” Talan said.
“Did you sleep well?” Jason asked.
“Yeah,” Talan said. “This bed is much more comfortable than I thought it would be.”
“Yeah it was nice,” Jason said. “Until they started blasting Fergie.”
“Well I guess that’s one way to wake us up,” Talan said.
“Well I need to go shower,” Jason said.
“So do I,” Talan said. “I’ll let you go first though.”
“I wanna get in before the two next door do,” Jason said.
“That would be nice,” Talan said.
“Well we could be bitchy and lock them out,” Jason laughed. “Or we could like shower together.”
“Random hookup in the shower?” Talan joked, “Why not?”
Talan got up. He followed his new friend to the bathroom. Jason locked the door so the guys next door couldn’t enter the bathroom. Jason opened the glass shower door and turned the water on. He and Talan both got in. The hot water soaked them both.
Jason was pretty fit. He has slim muscles in all the right places, and his penis was the nice size of 6 inches.
Talan and Jason didn’t take their shampoo or body wash in with them. Jason quickly moved towards Talan and put both of his hands on the back of Talan’s head. He pushed their lips together and darted his tongue in. Talan’s hands made their way around his neck and he pushed his tongue in harder. Vigorously their tongues battled as their lips moved together. Jason moved down and started kissing Talan’s neck.
A pounding came at the door.
“Can you hurry,” a guy from next door yelled. “I really need to pee.”
“Guess we gotta wrap this up,” Jason whispered. “We can play around tonight.”
“Okay,” Talan said.
Jason turned the water off. They left the bathroom to let the others in. They dried each other off with their towels. Then they got dressed.
“That was the hottest shower I’ve ever been apart of,” Jason teased. “Think I could get a little more action?”
“Tonight you can,” Talan said.
“You a virgin?” Jason asked.
“No,” Talan said. “Are you?”
“No way,” Jason said. “So you and your boyfriend have sex then?”
“No,” Talan said. “He thinks I’m a virgin. I told him that to make him feel better about him being a virgin.”
“Good call,” Jason said. “Poor virgins. I don’t envy them at all.”
“Neither do I,” Talan said.
“Let’s get going to breakfast,” Jason said. “We can meet up with Rachel.”
***
Talan and Jason were in the dining hall eating their food with Rachel.
“Did you guys sleep well?” Rachel asked.
“Yeah,” they both said.
“Did you?” Talan asked.
“I did,” Rachel smiled. “Probably because I had such a wonderful night.”
Jason laughed knowing that after their wonderful night he and Talan had kissed as well. He was also thinking about how they showered together this morning.
“We better get going you guys,” Talan said. “We have a team meeting in ten minutes.”
“Good call,” Rachel said.
They finished up and walked out of the dining hall.
***
Lucas was sitting in his room listening to music. Talan hadn’t returned his call. He was mildly bothered by this. He flipped his phone open. Still no call.
“I guess I’ll have to call him again,” he said to himself as he dialed Talan’s number.
***
Talan reached into his pocket. His phone was vibrating once again. He saw Lucas’ name on the screen.
“Is that your boyfriend again?” Jason asked.
“Aren’t you gunna answer?” Rachel asked, “He is your boyfriend.”
“Shh,” Talan said. “Let’s not tell the whole world.”
“We’ll catch up with you,” Jason said. “Answer the phone.”
Rachel and Jason walked out the door. Talan stopped and flipped open the phone.
“Hello,” he said.
“Hey babe,” Lucas said. “How’s it going?”
“Pretty awesome actually,” Talan said. “How are you doing?”
“I’m pretty good,” Lucas said. “Meet any hot people up there?”
“Yeah,” Talan laughed. “A couple hot girls, a couple hot guys. You know.”
“Right,” Lucas said. “Anyways, I tried to call you last night and you didn’t call back.”
“Sorry about that,” Talan said. “I was busy doing orientation stuff.”
“At twelve?” Lucas asked.
“Yeah,” Talan lied. “What was up so late?”
“I just really need to talk to you about something,” Lucas’ inflection changed. It was now a little depressed sounding.
“What’s wrong?” Talan asked, “Did I do something?”
Kissing Rachel and Jason were the first things that came to Talan’s mind. But how would he have found that out so quick?
“No,” Lucas said. “But I need to talk to you in person about it. Can you break away for a little while?”
“No,” Talan said. “I have a full schedule for today. Can it wait until tomorrow when I get home?”
“I guess it’ll have to,” Lucas said. “I’ve gotta go though.”
“Bye babe,” Talan said. He hung up.
***
“How was your boyfriend,” Rachel whispered.
Talan, Rachel and Jason were sitting next to each other in the circle at their team meeting.
“He seemed upset about something,” Talan replied. “But he wouldn’t tell me about it. I hope it’s not a big deal. I don’t wanna feel too bad about… Well never mind.”
“Can I answer any questions for you three?” Alex asked interrupting them, “This is group time. So pay attention please.”
They stopped talking and payed attention.
“We are playing against Leah’s team tonight,” Alex said. “Now we have to be ready for the game we have to play because Alex does not lose. Then you will play a gain where you team up with a member of Leah’s team to see who can come out on top. Got it? Let’s go!”
The team Talan was on went to face off against another girl’s team. They played a game involving serious paying attention. However, Talan found himself to be one of the first people out. His team won anyways.
He then paired up with a girl named Melanie from the other team. There were twenty teams between their two groups. Body parts were being called out. Each team had to connect those body parts. Slowly, team by team were getting eliminated. Talan and Melanie were the team who was on point every time. That was until the call was “elbow to elbow.” Their elbows hit and then slid onto each other’s arms. Talan and his partner were eliminated. They got third place.
“Boo,” Talan said making a thumbs down with his hand.
Talan went and joined his two new friends on the sidelines. They began talking about hanging out that night. They agreed to hang out in Talan and Jason’s room.
***
Talan, Jason, and Rachel were sitting in Talan and Jason’s room. Talan was sitting on his bed. Jason was on the chair between the beds. And, Rachel was laying on Jason’s bed.
“So did you guys have fun at orientation?” Rachel asked.
“I did,” Jason said.
“So did I,” Talan said. “Too bad we leave tomorrow morning.”
“Yeah it sucks,” Jason said. “We won’t get to see each other again until college starts.”
“Move in day is only a month and a half away though,” Rachel said. “So we can meet up after we move into our dorms.”
“Yeah,” Jason said. “We can all have lunch or something.”
“Yeah for sure,” Talan said.
“Well,” Rachel said. “I don’t know about you guys but I am so tired. I think I’m gunna turn in.”
“Alright,” Jason said.
“Want me to walk you?” Talan asked.
“Nah,” Rachel smiled. “I’m a big girl. I can get there myself. See you guys tomorrow morning.”
Rachel left the room.
“Wanna sleep together?” Jason asked.
“What!?” Talan said.
“Like sleep in the same bed,” Jason laughed. “I realize they are really small but we can spoon.”
Talan laughed. “Okay,” he said.
He jumped onto the bed nearly on top of Jason. They shared a small kiss before Talan turned his backside to Jason. Jason moved his body over and formed it with Talan’s. The two fell asleep.
***
It was morning. Jason, Talan, and Rachel had been talking for about an hour now. But, it was time for them to leave. Rachel kissed Talan and then went to find her parents. Jason and Talan gave each other a “man” hug and then Jason went to find his parents. Each of them had exchanged phone numbers to keep in touch until college.
Talan took his stuff to his car and got in. He drove home.
***
Outside Talan’s house waited Lucas. Talan parked the car and invited him inside.
“Hey,” Talan said. “How’s it going?”
“I’m okay,” Lucas said.
“Oh yeah,” Talan said. “What’s been going on? Are you okay?”
“Not really,” Lucas said. “There is something I need to tell you.”
“Okay what is it?” Talan asked.
“I found out that I am moving,” Lucas said. “To Florida.”
Talan’s face went white.
“Moving?” Talan said. He could feel the tears forming in his eyes.
“Yeah,” Lucas said.
“When?” Talan asked.
“On Friday,” Lucas said. “Two days from now.”
Talan had nothing to say. He spent the last two days cheating on his boyfriend, and now his boyfriend was moving away.
“There is something I want to tell you before I go,” Lucas said.
“There is something I have to tell you before you go,” Talan said. “But you first.”
“I know it hasn’t been long,” Lucas said. “Just a little over a month. But, I’m in love with you.”
“I wish you hadn’t have said that,” Talan said.
“Why?” Lucas said.
“I love you too,” Talan said. “Because of this. There is something you need to know.”
“What is it?” Lucas asked.
“I cheated on you,” Talan said. “At orientation.”
