Chapter 5: Forbidden
Authors: Tsuki/Taiyo
That day was a rough one, the teacher’s were trying to arrange their new students and there was hardly any classes, plus the Magic Handling Teacher and the Martial Arts teacher resigned that day.
Tsukiyo and Nataki left to do their chores in the first floor of the Cafeteria as Yamaguchi had assigned.
After the long day cleaning and studying they returned home. It was 6:45PM and as soon as they opened the door they just collapsed on the sofa; the sofa broke. “This is just great!!” Tsukiyo complained as he got up in a very cranky way; Nataki looked in to the nothingness with the face of disbelief. “I’m really starting to get really piss off, I mean…” Tsukiyo stretched his arms signaling their surroundings. “Look at this place!! Is this even legal??!!” Nataki got up and took his book bag and pulled his wallet. He opened his wallet and took out a transparent card with silver stripes. “You have money?” He asked Tsukiyo in a very serious manner. Tsukiyo looked at him with genuine discomfort. “Yeah, I have a card with credits; why?” Nataki walked towards the hallway. “Get dressed, we are going shopping. This place is actually great, why we have a kitchen, a large living room and a lot of space in our rooms; all we need are appliances and furniture, that’s all.” Tsukiyo put his arms on his hips and smiled. “Cool, let’s do that. We can also buy some paint and some decorative things and this place will be in tip top shape.” Nataki smiled in agreement. “This is great we have an understanding for the first time in these past two days; perfect, I’m going to change and I’ll meet you in the living room.” Tsukiyo followed him. “I’m gonna take a bath.” Nataki replied. “Great idea, me too.” Tsukiyo walked towards his room. “You go first.” Nataki stopped in front of his room. “Really? Are you sure you don’t want to take a bath first?” Tsukiyo opened the door and faced Nataki. “It’s okay; when we come back I’ll take a bath first.” And went in to his room; Nataki shook his head with a smile and went in.
After they were both ready they went outside of the school grounds using their own means; Tsukiyo’s portal. “Are you all right?” Asked Nataki, who knew that the Portal making makes Tsukiyo very tired. “Don’t worry I can do it perfectly in night time and besides I have a lot of energy, so you don’t have to worry.” Answered Tsukiyo without looking at Nataki. “Let’s start walking and most importantly asking for directions, ‘cause I know nothing of this place.” Tsukiyo finished by looking at Nataki with his careless demeanor.
They arrived at the mall after asking for directions but before going inside the mall they decided to make certain things clear being the most important of all the delivery of their new furniture. “Okay, how are we gonna receive our stuff without attracting the principals attention?” Tsukiyo looked at Nataki questioningly while he folded his arms; Nataki crossed his arms too and looked up as if seeking an answer from the heavens and pondered for a minute or so. “I really have no idea.” Tsukiyo dropped his head and sighed. “We really need to find a way Nataki or else.” Nataki pondered for another minute more until the light of an idea shone in his emerald eyes. “I know, how about we use your portal thing?!” He suggested very excited. Tsukiyo looked at him not believing his ears. “This is going too far, what do you think I am an infinite transportation devise?!” Tsukiyo complained while Nataki looked at him with his innocent eyes. “But it’s the best option we have. We can’t ask anyone to keep it for us in the mean time because we know no one in this city, we can’t ask a professor to do us a favor of getting it in and we can’t tell the principal because he can suspend us for some made up reason.” Nataki tried to put some reason in to his suggestion. “We don’t know if we try.” Tsukiyo answered in a mix of scornfulness and frustration. Nataki looked at him with more convincing eyes. “You know better than I do that the principal already has a grudge against us especially with you.” Tsukiyo raises an eyebrow. “Aha…” Nataki looks at him more intensely. “Principal Yamaguchi has given you, how many? Three warnings imagine if he finds out that part of that furniture is going to your room; if he finds out it’s yours.” Tsukiyo sighs in defeated. “Okay, okay, just let’s get this over with, but I will need all the rest I can get for that massive portal, got it?” Tsukiyo just started making his way in to the mall after he finished talking while a triumphant Nataki walked behind his. “Hai, hai.”
Surprisingly enough they did not fight in when making the decorative decisions; they agreed in almost everything. They decided that the living room, since the house was made in good dark wood, different tones of blues would be perfect as they will be combined with whites to make a nice an cozy ambiance. The kitchen would be great in a soft shade of yellow and white, since the kitchen tiles and counters were white; Nataki dedicated himself to decorating the kitchen. Tsukiyo took charge of the bathroom decoration, he decided to do take all the old tiles off and put new ones; he decided on peacock blue and grey, but Nataki influenced in his decision and he ultimately chose white for the combination color. The hallway would be decorated in the same way that the living room was decorated and their rooms…well that was for them to decided.
After several days of cleaning and fixing they received their things and they decided to concentrate and work as a team in order to achieve their common goal; finish the cleaning of the cafeteria and finish cleaning their room. These enterprises took them a total of one month and a half.
One afternoon while Nataki was coming back from the library and thinking of the relief of finally finishing with the Cafeteria and almost with the apartment he saw Koji waiting in front of the building.
It had been one month and a half ever since he arrived and in that time he had learned something that he did not know when he was back home; his cousin is really not that bad. He had talked and spent more time than he ever imagined with his cousin, of course when ever Koji wasn’t with his gang. But surprisingly enough his cousin and his ever so mysterious room mate had a lot in common; they could talk of the most unusual things, but still he noticed that Tsukiyo held himself back as he did with him and that really got the best of him sometimes.
Nataki walked towards Koji. “Koji, what are you doing here?” Koji put his hands in his pockets. “I need to talk to you.” Nataki looked at him oddly. “Talk to me? I thought seeing you here was weird but you wanting to talk to me is even weirder.” Koji just looked at him patiently. “So, can I talk to you or not?” Nataki shrugged tiredly. “Sure, why not; come up to my apartment.”
They arrived and Koji looked around impressed. “And this is supposed to be punishment? I should start getting me some warnings too.” Nataki placed his book bag on the sofa. “What is it that you need from me?” Koji made his way to the love seat. “Well, I have a problem and I was hoping that you, since you are my cousin, would help me.” Nataki sat down on the sofa, facing Koji. “Yes?” Koji relaxed on the sofa. “This is one comfy chair Nataki.” “Thanks, what is this problem you have Koji?” Koji looked away in to the painting on the walls. “You know my gang?” Nataki looked at Koji expressionless. “Yes?” Koji continued. “Well, you must know there are other gangs right?” Again Nataki reacted in the same way. “Aha?” Koji shifted on the chair. “Well, my room mate moved out, I really don’t care why, but the root of the matter is that the leader of one of my rival gangs is moving in to my room in two days.” Nataki leaned forward. “So?” Koji leaned forward also. “I want to stay here. I can’t have the leader of other gang living with me in the same room, not because I am afraid but because I am capable of doing something that that guy might regret in…the after life, if you know what I mean.”
Nataki looked at him with monotonous eyes. “Of course. Fine, look for a room and pick the one you like the most, anyway this building is not mine.” Koji scoffed. “You mean I have to look for a room? Are they in this condition?” Tsukiyo came out of the hall way, clothes all full of white paint and sweaty. “Well, the bathroom is ready, except the paint in some areas is still wet…Koji?” Koji looked at Tsukiyo and then at Nataki with many questions in his eyes. Nataki smiled mischievously. “No Koji, the rooms are not in these conditions.” Koji stood up. “Then you guys…?” Nataki still smiling answered his incomplete question. “Yes, we fixed it. But it’s actually fun Koji, right Tsukiyo?” Tsukiyo wiped the sweat of his forehead. “Yeah, it is.” Nataki walked over towards Koji and put his hand on his disillusioned cousin’s shoulder. “The best part of it is the whole transformation; you should give it a try that is if you don’t want to sleep in the same room with that gang guy.” Koji looked at Nataki in a bothered way. “Sometimes I can really despise you.” Nataki walked away. “Oh well, what can I say, we had to do this on our own.”
Koji walked towards the kitchen and took some water. “I can’t believe you Nataki, I thought you would let me sleep in you apartment.” Tsukiyo did the same as Koji and drank some. “Koji, we only have two rooms, the furniture is new and you have your room, why would we let you stay in our apartment?” Tsukiyo added. Nataki looked at Tsukiyo. “He is having some problems in his dorm and has to move out.” Tsukiyo scoffed. “Poor bastard, he’ll have to fix his room.” Tsukiyo smirked and looked at Koji. “But think about it this way, you’ll have a whole room for yourself, so quit looking at us like that and go around picking your room; you have a lot of work to do.” Koji placed the cup in the sink. “Easy for you to say, you already have a cool place.” He said as he walked out of the kitchen. “Clean that cup, Koji.” Tsukiyo reminded and Koji looked at him scornfully as he did as he was told.
“Just do it Koji, pick a room and fix it.” Nataki added. “It’s as Tsukiyo says, you’ll have a room for your self.” Koji looked down. “Fine, fine, I have no other option now do I…since you guys evidently want your privacy.” They both glared at him and making Koji sweat drop. “Sorry…” Koji walked towards the door. “Anyway, I’ll come back later on and tell you what I will do.” Tsukiyo shrugged in response as he cleaned the cup he had used and Nataki just nodded as he saw his cousin off. “Later guys.”
Tsukiyo took a bath while Nataki made something to eat for both. “Nataki you gotta check the bathroom, it looks so different.” Tsukiyo sat down while Nataki placed their plates on the table. “Is it really that great?” He asked in nice manner. Tsukiyo looked at him. “I feel proud of my masterpiece.” They started eating. “Well, this is gonna be very interesting, your cousin living here in this building; I though it was enough with you but now it’s gonna be worst.” Tsukiyo said as he got up and took his plate to the kitchen. “Well, if I am really a bother…” Nataki did the same. Tsukiyo looked at him. “You tend to be too curious sometimes that ticks me off, but I am learning to live with you.” Nataki stops doing everything he was doing. “Yeah, learning alright, ignoring me and evading every possible conversation, is that part of your whole learning vision?”
Tsukiyo walked out of the kitchen after finishing his chore. “I am very reserved, you should know that. I like keeping my things to myself; what good will it do if you knew them?” He sat on the sofa. Nataki walked out of the kitchen. “I don’t know something called friendship and trust.” Tsukiyo got up in an annoyed manner. “You know what? I can’t have this conversation.” He started walking towards the hall way. “Why?” Asked a calmed Nataki. “Because I did not come to this school to make friends. I came here to study and…relax.” Nataki smirked. “Those are the things that make me curious; who would come to school to relax?” Tsukiyo turned around facing Nataki. “Me!” He looked angry. “I can’t believe you, you start by insulting me and saying I am annoying and you are eventually the one that gets angry.” Tsukiyo looked towards the window. “Because you really can’t mind your own damn business!” Once again Tsukiyo locked eyes with Nataki; Nataki confronted him. “I don’t know what happened to you; just now you were totally happy and normal.” Nataki said in a calm manner.
Tsukiyo walked towards him and stopped just in front of him making Nataki blush a little. “In this past month Nataki, all you’ve done is ask me where I come from, what is my home like and things concerning my “mysterious” background; I don’t need that.” Nataki looked to the right hiding his blush and gave two steps back. “I don’t mean it in a bad way; I just want to get to know you better; for what is worth you can be an assassin or a criminal in hiding.” He said in a defensive tone as Tsukiyo just mocked him. “Me, a criminal? What type of supposition is that?! You paranoid?!” Nataki looked frustrated and slightly tense. “I don’t want to continue arguing with you Tsukiyo; you are only babbling nonsense. I really don’t understand why a person would have such a hard time talking about themselves.” Nataki walked towards the dinning table and sat down. “It’s like you are afraid of me or maybe you think too highly of yourself to even speak to me.” “I am not afraid of you!! Why would I?! Now you are the one that has too much ego that you can even handle!!” Nataki got startled when Tsukiyo screamed those words. “I didn’t mean it that way…” Nataki tried to explain himself; Tsukiyo’s eyes showed his ire. “I am so sick of people who want to get in my life!! I came here trying to escape from that!! But as soon as I came here all you did was get your nose in to my life!!” Tsukiyo walked towards the coat hanger. “You are a naïve little boy; you don’t know what having problems is!!” Nataki got up he felt insulted; Tsukiyo grabbed his coat. “What are you saying?! What are you some kind of martyr?! Do you want to be the tragic hero here??!! I bet the only problem you have is dealing with your temper and most probably you were sent here because your family wanted you to direct your anger problems at someone else!!”
Tsukiyo looked at him in a mix of shock and rage. “You are a spoiled brat Tsukiyo!!! That is how you act!!” Nataki attacked Tsukiyo; Tsukiyo put his coat on. “I hate you Nataki…I am going to live with you because I have no other option. I wanted to live here in peace, but with your stupid goody two shoes behavior I can’t. I can’t have a hypocritical aristocrat like you telling me what’s a right and wrong and making supposition of what problems I might and might not have; you only know how to be pampered nothing more and nothing less.” Nataki looked at Tsukiyo astounded by his harsh words.
“I am not a pampered person, I am nothing like that; you should learn how to treat people, you antisocial Sakura Boy.” Nataki spew out those words with serenity and poison. Tsukiyo closed his eyes trying to contain the anger. “Nataki…!!!” He opened his eyes for a split second and Nataki saw it again, the hatred that had consumed him that time in the cafeteria but there was something more ominous this time; both his eyes were the color of blood. Nataki stepped back, not because of fear but confusion. “What is that? I have never seen a person’s eyes change like that…This feeling is far stronger than that time…It-it’s overwhelming…”
Tsukiyo motioned to walk towards Nataki but instead walked towards the door and the only thong that Nataki heard was the loud noise of the door. “He left…” Nataki looked to the floor. “Well…Good, I don’t want to see him anyway!”
Nataki went to the kitchen and made himself a cup of tea waiting for his cousin. “That man, I don’t know what is it, but I just feel this great curiosity sometimes. I just…can’t understand him. He is too different…too… mysterious…”
Tsukiyo walked though the forest of red Sakura trees, walked up one of the trees, punched it sending a shock wave and obliterating the surrounding trees. Tsukiyo slowly kneeled down and placed his hands on his face breathing heavily. “That nosey prick!! Who does he think he is?!!” He growled placing his hands on his thighs. He looked at the Sakura trees and finished sitting on the floor.
The wind blew lightly; he closed his eyes and just sat there enjoying the night breeze. “I wish I could be like everyone else…not…like this…” He looked at his hands. “I will never be able to be his friend and I don’t want to keep pretending.” He stood up and put his hands on his pockets. “I can never tell him anything about myself after all…” He looked at the starry sky. “…he might even hate me.”
Tsukiyo walked until the outer wall of the Red Sakura Wing and opened a portal getting out of the school grounds. He walked and remembered the argument he just had with Nataki. “I don’t even know why he treats me so nice when I treat him like shit or just ignore him…I don’t deserve it.” He walked with his hands in his pockets thinking of the awful things they said to each other and how he had started the argument being him the one to offend Nataki first.
As he walked by the semi lonely side walks of the city he felt someone bump in to him. “Yo, watch out were you goin’!!” Tsukiyo heard the aggression in the voice and being in a bad mood he decided to answer with aggressiveness too. “Are you fuckin’…Koji??” He focused on the aggressive person who just bumped in to him to find Nataki’s cousin. “What are you doing outside?” Koji looked at him tiredly. “I have been thinking what to do, man. I want to move out but man, I can’t fix a room on my own.” He complained while Tsukiyo placed his hands in his pockets once again. “Well, I can help you; but it won’t be for free.” He smiled slyly; Koji looked at him. “Okay, you want to negotiate? What’s the price?” Koji smiled in the same fashion also. “Well_” Tsukiyo was interrupted by a group of thugs. “Well, well if it isn’t some students of Sakura no Ten?? What you lost?” A horribly dressed man asked. “We can guide you around the city for 5,000 credits. We accept jewelry too.” Said another man with a squeaky, raspy voice while the rest just laughed in menacing ways. Tsukiyo and Koji looked at each other. “Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” Koji asked Tsukiyo. “Beat the shit out of these A-holes?” Tsukiyo asked while he got on guard. “Well it seems we were.” Koji said as he did the same. “You wanna give us a tour ass hole? How about we return the favor fore hand with a free trip to the hospital!!!?” Taunted Tsukiyo. ”Aren’t we cocky little boy? It seems in school they don’t teach you manners, I guess we should do your teachers a favor; guys!!!!!”
The group of 8 thugs dashed towards the pair as they began defending against them and attacking. Tsukiyo and Koji began fighting together but eventually got separated each handling four on their own and savoring the moment.
Koji while fighting saw in the distance four men with black cloaks approaching them and chanting unknown words and as soon as they stopped they released a strange red energy; it was directed to Tsukiyo. “Tsukiyo!!!!” Koji warned but it was too late, the spell was to fast and Tsukiyo’s reaction was slow due to the fight; he fell unconscious. Koji knocked the resting thugs and started running towards the cloaked men but with the motion of his hand the cloaked man in the middle send a grey orb of energy on the charging Koji; Koji was blown away and rendered unconscious by the attack.
The man who just attacked took off his cloak, revealing an old man, in about his 50 or 60’s with a mark on his forehead. “Master?” One of the cloaked men approached humbly. “Do you need us to kill these worms?” The man looked at his apprentice. “It won’t be necessary; after all they are nothing but ruffians. Take him in to the car. We must do this before the third moon reaches the midnight sky.” The other three men took Tsukiyo and put him in the back of a van and left the scene. Koji opened his eyes with the last bit of his strength and decided to do what he never imagined that he would ever do.
Nataki walked out of the bathroom and looked at the clock; it had been 45 minutes since Tsukiyo had left and an hour since his cousin had left their house. “Koji said he would be back later on and…” He walked towards the window. “…Tsukiyo said nothing. Only my name.” He sadly looked outside. “What am I doing worrying about him; he is after all, the one who started it.” He said this bewildered at his attitude. “Anyway he is more than capable of taking care of himself.” He sat on the sofa and grabbed a book from the night stand. “I’ll just keep on reading…even though I should go to sleep…Oh forget it.” He placed the book on the couch and looked at the clock once again. “Only a minute since I looked at it….why am I so anxious.” He closed his eyes and lay back on the sofa. “Nataki!!!! Help!!!!” Nataki sat down immediately. “Koji!!!”
Nataki dashed through the door and ran as far as he could, reaching the outer wall. “Oh if just that Sakura Boy was here!!!” He jumped on the trees and used them to reach the top of the wall jumping down in to the side walk. “Matte Koji!!!”
He reached the site where Koji was focusing his Chi and using it to track Koji’s Chi. He saw his cousin on the floor trying to sit down and around him some thugs. Nataki went towards to where Koji was and helped him to sit down. “Koji, what did you get yourself in to now?” Nataki looked at him with a scolding glare. “Man, I ache all over.” Koji complained. “Oh come on, it’s just an Energy Canceling Spell…” Nataki stopped very suddenly. “Koji, did these guys do this to you, whom I doubt?” Nataki asked as he looked around him. “No Nataki, I was walking you know and I bumped in to Tsukiyo…” Nataki interrupted Koji. “Tsukiyo did this to you?” Koji looked at Nataki. “No, Man! Will you listen to me? We were talking and these bastards came out of no where and we started fighting you know, having fun, but suddenly these four guys came out of no where making a weird ass spell and they hit Tsukiyo. Tsukiyo fell unconscious and I tried to stop them but I was hit with another spell, so I made them think I was unconscious since I couldn’t move and then some guys asked the leader if he needed to kill us and the leader just said no; the leader said that they needed to take Tsukiyo in to a van they had because they needed to do something before the third moon reached the midnight sky.”
Nataki was speechless. “Nataki, those guys were very shady and they took Tsukiyo, this attack was directed towards Tsukiyo…why didn’t I see it before. It was just a decoy; these bastards must known something Nataki.” Nataki stood up and woke one of them the hard way; the man woke up whinnying. “Wha-What the hell?!! Let me go, bitch!!” The man screamed confusing Nataki for a girl; Nataki popped a vein and turned one of his fingers in a white energy pressing it on his stomach. “Aaaahhhhh!!!! What are you doing you crazy whore??!!!” Nataki took him and pinned him down. “Where did the van go to? Where are those cloaked men?!!” Nataki talked in a very intimidating way, making his voice sound very deep; the man was frightened since Nataki kept on threatening him with the energy that he had gathered on his finger. “I-I-I don’t know!!” Nataki pressed his finger once more. “Talk!” The man started crying due to the pain; Koji looked at his cousin. “I’ve never seen him like this…What has gotten in to him? He’s even torturing to get info. Sugoi!!” Koji smirked at the sight of his cousin showing no mercy. After the man screamed in utter pain. “Median Southern Towers!!! The abandoned Median Southern Towers!!! That’s were they went!! They just paid us to do this…we don’t know anything else man, I swear!!!” He pleaded. “Thanks.” Nataki used the energy once more making the man fall unconscious due to the pain.
Nataki put Koji on his sofa. “Wait here Koji.” Koji looked at him. “Where am I gonna go, I can’t even move.” Nataki walked towards the door. “Nataki.” Koji called; Nataki stopped and turned around. Koji looked at him concerned. “Are you really going to that place by yourself?” Nataki looked away. “I can’t let them do anything to him; he may be rude sometimes but he…I will be back Koji, just rest.” Nataki walked out in great haste. “Be careful man, be careful.” Koji closed his eyes.
Four dark silhouettes gathered in front of the man with the symbol on his fore head. “Tell them everything is ready; we will be done in no time.” The silhouette in the middle talked in a dark manner. “I will; I hope you do your job, Kratz or else.” Kratz smiled and bowed and spoke in humility. “I will Master, I will help you achieve your desires.” The silhouettes in the back disappeared being the one who spoke the only one left behind. “I expect you to do so that is the only reason why I gave you the forbidden spell.”
The man disappeared. “Just remember what the master said; if you fail or even die in the process you will be tormented for eternity.” Kratz stayed bowed. “I won’t let you down.” After a while Kratz got up. “I will keep my promise…” He smirked. “Until a certain part of course.” Took a sealed scroll in his hands and started laughing.
Nataki reached his destination after several minutes and after asking several times for the address he reached a construction site with two huge towers in construction; one of them was almost complete and the other one was complete.
He closed his eyes and concentrated for about 5 seconds. “Tsukiyo, where are you?” he opened his eyes and ran towards the one that was complete. The building had around 200 floors and had plazas between every 50 floors so it was pretty high. “I am not going to go up those stairs; that would be suicide.” He spread his arms and air seemed to gather around him as he chanted the words for a spell. “Levitate!” He uttered the word and started levitating.
He levitated floor to floor until he felt a strong magical presence. “This…this is forbidden magic!!” He was shocked but that did not stop him. He approached one of the windows and started uttering the words of another spell disintegrating the huge glass window with it.
Once inside, he started climbing the stairs until he reached the 99th floor where he could feel the energy really strongly. “I wonder what they are doing in there. But most importantly, why would they take Tsukiyo?” He said in a poignant way. “I will find out and take him out of here.” Once his resolve was back he decided to make his way in to the corridor.
He walked the hall way of the building and found what he was not hoping to find. “A magic wall? Oh great!” he walked towards it and studied it. “It’s of divine magic, only clerics and priests can do this, but this isn’t just any divine magic.” He touched it revealing a circle with arcane writings and symbols. “This mix of symbols and runes are only made by Dark Priests. Let me see.” He started pondering and thinking or better yet trying to remember how to destroy a Magic Wall of this kind. “Oh no, Kasai-Sensei would kill me if I told him that I don’t remember this one. Most importantly, Tsukiyo…” He felt a stronger energy for a split second. “What was that?!” he had never felt something so awesomely powerful.
After that power surge he felt nothing. “Well, I suppose I can carry on. “Kasai-Sensei….how do you break this?” He closed his eyes and started remembering. He could hear Kasai-Sensei’s voice “When a dark priest makes a magic wall they make it with the procedure of two spells; protective and cursing. They use a combination like this in this form; they use the material component of the protection spell, like you know protective spells always need materials depending on the protection you want, for a wall you use diamond for the strongest and glass for the weakest. Dark Priest use these things but for the strongest they make an oath of blood, just like in curses where you must use part of your self to make the cursed soul bind itself to your Magik. To destroy it only a pure life source can do this, in other words a virgin or a person who is fighting for a pure cause.”
Nataki walked towards the wall and punched it breaking it. He took one of the pieces of plastic and cut his hand. He walked towards the magic wall and placed the hand on the circle and the wall started fading until it eventually disappeared. He smiled and took a napkin from his pocket and cleaned the blood. “Arigatou Kasai-Sensei.”
He ran down the door but suddenly a tingle went up his spine and impulse made him make a barrier. In the distance he could hear all the windows breaking. “What is this?!” He saw a strange wave of dark transparent energy heading his way; he reinforced his barrier. He looked at the energy with a mix of fear and anticipation. “This is too strong!!” He looked at the wave approaching more and more but he never closed his eyes.
The wave divided itself as soon as it reached him and continued doing it’s destruction down the hall. He was shocked and scared but that made him only get more worried. He ran directly to where that wave had come from and stopped in front of a hole that used to be the door and part of the wall of one of the biggest offices. “What are you doing?!!! I command you!!!! You are supposed to heed my every word!!!!!” Nataki’s attention was taken by those words and thus he ran in to the room.
When Nataki went in to the room he saw a wall of dark purplish mist; he entered through it without hesitation or fear. He walked straight. “The spell is supposed to have worked…I-I have infinite magical power!! I am supposed to control you!! You are supposed to be mine, my very own weapon!!!” Nataki’s eyes opened wide in disbelief. “Tsukiyo…!!!” He hurried pace but suddenly he heard a noise followed by a gasp. “Who are you to think you can control me.” He heard a voice so cold that it sent chills down his spine. “I…called you! I am…your master!! I…called upon…it!” The man spoke the best he could.
Finally Nataki came out of the mist and in front of him there was a huge pentagram almost covered by body parts scattered all over the floor; blood covered the visible part of the room. He had never seen something like this before, but he was taken by something else; there was a being in the middle of the pentagram.
Nataki walked in to the pentagram and saw closely. “Tsukiyo..??” His eyes were wide open. In the middle of the pentagram, Tsukiyo stood holding a man by the neck. Covering him was a dark transparent aura, very much alike the energy wave that he had seen in the hall way; coming from his back two huge pearly black wings spanned and his hair seemed to be really alive just floating around the room not touching the floor; it was longer than what it really was.
He couldn’t see Tsukiyo’s face but he saw the man’s face distorted with fear. “I…I…called you…”He kept on repeating like a protective chant. “You called me with blood and I shall send you away with blood; no one controls me.” Saying these words a lock of hair stabbed the man in the head. As his body twitched, Kratz’s blood flowed down his body and as soon as it touched Tsukiyo’s hand it started getting absorbed; Kratz was drained in matter of minutes.
Tsukiyo discarded the body and looked around. “Where am I?” Nataki walked towards him, holding the fear he felt deep inside the best he could. “Tsu-Tsukiyo…” Nataki called; Tsukiyo looked at Nataki instantly. His face was different yet the same, his skin was pale and on his forehead there was a strange mark that Nataki had never seen in his life. Tsukiyo floated towards Nataki and immediately hugged him as if his life depended on it. Nataki just welcomed his embrace dazed. Tsukiyo cupped Nataki’s face and looked at him with a beautiful smile. “You are here.” Tsukiyo’s voice didn’t sound like before on the contrary it sounded so warm that made Nataki feel reassured. “Tsukiyo…are you alright?” Tsukiyo looked confused. “Tsukiyo?” Nataki got more confused now. ‘What did they do to you?” Nataki looked at him sadly. Tsukiyo caressed Nataki’s face. “I am alright…now that you are here…my…” Tsukiyo collapsed but Nataki caught him.
Nataki was kneeling holding on to Tsukiyo. He saw Tsukiyo’s wings disappear in to him and his hair get shorter to the way it was. “What happened here, Tsukiyo? What was that man talking about? Why did he call you his “weapon”?”
“It seems Kratz failed.” A sensuous feminine voice said. “Well he got too cocky with that scroll he was given.” A very monotonous male voice spoke in a slow and calm manner. “Serves him right!! He deserves it for thinking of betraying Him.” A rough and youthful voice angrily spoke. “We will have to proceed in a different manner…in order to get what we came for.” Finalized a male voice filled with coolness with a very colloquial manner of speech. “So what’s the next step?” The girl asked. “Patience is a virtue they say. Those who await patiently will get things right. All we have to do is wait.” The smooth deep voice said in a ruthless yet subtle manner.
Tsukiyo-“My life is soooo hard.” *tear*
Nataki-“Well if you had talk to me more about your life maybe none of this would’ve happened.”
Tsukiyo-glares at Nataki. “Here we go again…”
Taiyo-“Behave you two, we’re amongst friends and thus enhance we must love each other.” Light shone upon him….from a flash light.
Tsuki- “Why am I holding this stupid flash light? This is ridiculous…” Throws the flash light and hit Taiyo on the head knocking him out.
Nataki & Tsukiyo- Sweat Drop.
Tsuki-“You better review…” Kicks Taiyo and walks away.
