Anyone know where that quote is from? Well if you don\'t then I\'ll tell you at the end of this chapter. (which is not finished). Oh and yes it\'s suppose to be \"Pow\". ^_^
Once again thax r in order....
V: Sure you can go with that... but it\'s not wut happens.... if u recall the vampire said the found HIM. also he apologized 4 getting Brian involved. But the whole virgin sacrafice wolf god thing is a good idea... *throws cookie and medication* ~_^
darkperfection: With all the people who hav little voices we could start a theorpy group... Which would be fun.... *throws cookie*
Also I must give a little disapointment to some of you the little voice shall be not in the first part of this chapter, my original plans was to hav him come back MUCH later but you people seem to love him so much...
And the breaker people side story shall continue.
I\'ve decided that the plot needed to pick up so I doubt there will be any Handsome charming vampire/inocent young teen action today. =(
Chapter Five
The vampire quickly moved threw the woods dodging trees and stones alike. It was only a few moments before Brian began to regain consciousness, he let out a low moan and began to shake his head. Feeling the wind in his face the teen slowly opened his eyes, and seeing he was moving he blinked in surprise.
“What’s goin-?”
The vampire let out a low hissing noise that lead the teen to believe that he was supposed to be silent.
They continued that way for a little longer before Brian’s carrier stopped on top of a rock. He listened intently his head turning in quick movements. Every so often there would be howl in the woods, getting farther and farther away. Letting out a sigh the vampire let Brian down.
“I’m very sorry about this, but you are not safe anymore.”
Brian was about to speak when another howl sounded. He turned his head around trying to see where it came from. The night soon silenced again and the worried teen realized that the taller man was holding him tightly. After a few moments the grip lessened.
“If they found you, it would not have been pretty.” He continued. “They would have smelt me on you and your release and would have torn you apart.”
“Why?”
Once again interrupted by a wolf’s cry the younger clutched onto the stronger man. In response the vampire picked Brian up.
They were getting closer.
“They must have split up.” He murmured as a leaped off the rock and continued on the unseen path. As they continued threw the woods he clutched the boy in his arms. His speed picked up every time another howl was let out.
“Oh God,” Brian murmured as he saw a gray figure moving at the same pace next to them. It turned to him and gave a loud snarl. Whimpering softly he began to shiver in the vampire’s arms. ‘Get a hold of yourself, nothing bad is going to happen.’
The vampire gave out a loud yell and in a flash the pursuers fell to the ground whimpering. But this did not slow there pace. The two continued gong until they came to some ruins of an old mansion. Brian was then put down and the vampire placed his hands on his knees trying to catch his breath.
“We… can’t… stay here… long… they’ll just… keep… coming.” His sweat covered face was red and his hair was now dampened.
Brian felt completely helpless; he didn’t want the vampire to die because he was slowing him down. “Maybe it would be better if you left me here and kept going on your own. I’d be able to slow them down a bit…”
The vampire gave him a dark look. “Cold day… in Hell.” (1)His breathing had become more even and the sweat had begun to cool. “And how would that help me? Hearing you scream as they rip you limb from limb, I may be a vampire but I still have a conscious. We are not going to die tonight, we’re almost there.” Walking over to Brian he wiped his face. “But I would go faster if you were asleep and not shaking like a leaf.”
Brian blushed and looked down. “I’m sorry.” He whispered. “I’m just scared. I’ve never been threatened like this…” Giving a disgusted look to the ground he continued. “I’m so weak it sickens me. I’m so afraid and I just can’t control it.”
The vampire placed an arm around the scared boy. Lifting Brian’s face with his finger he stared into his eyes. “Never be ashamed of yourself,” Furtively he started the ritual. “you were just thrusted into a world that you don’t have any idea about….” Brian’s eyes began to droop. “there is nothing wrong with being scared….” The spell started to work faster with the oncoming threat. “there is nothing wrong with being weak…” Finally the teen fell into a dreamless sleep. “because I am here to protect you.”
And they where off.
=_+ (Peaking Breaker Girl, She’s taping the two guys.)
(Here\'s the rest of Chapter 5, i think it\'s longer then 4...)
A few minutes after they departed from the ruins the Weres came upon the site, a good ten of them. Sniffing around the dirt and air they caught a scent and continued to move. Splitting into a formation known only to themselves they dashed into the forest continuing there pursuit in the target.
To them they did not see a confused teen in the arms of someone he trusted. To Weres it was only a vampire, the hunted, and a human. A human corrupted by the ways of the shadow. A corruption that could not be healed; only destroyed.
Now keeping a pace faster then before the pursuers had began to catch up to the vampire.
“You should give up and crawl back to the hole you came from!” The vampire yelled back.
The leader of the pack gave a loud snarl. He was old enough to think while in his transformation and knew that there was a nothing before them except a large wall of rock. He howled again, giving communication to his pack letting them know to surround the arrogant vampire.
Just as the Alpha thought a twenty foot wall of sheer rock stood before the vampire, stopping he began to search the ground. After a moment he found what he was looking for. A piece of rock stuck in the ground with a small incantation carved into it.
Once he stepped onto the strange rock wisps of blue light surrounded his form which now seemed transparent. With this new occurrence Brian woke up with a start. The wisps of light began swirling faster and faster in some ancient pattern. And as fast as the spell began the two disappeared sending the lights to hit the Weres causing them to yelp in pain.
-_- (Pissed Off Breaker Dude, he just found out that the Girl was taping them)
“What the Hell was that?” Brian asked as he was let down onto his feet.
They where now standing inside a very large stone hall. Tapestries hung over the darkened torch lined stone walls. A larger staircase led to a small landing where two staircases broke off to the left and right. Small tables holding vases and other expensive objects stood next to the several doorways in the hall.
“That was your first experience with witch’s magic.” The vampire responded straitening out his coat. Brian took a good look at the man. He was wearing the same clothing as there first meeting. “I told you we would be alright.”
“I still don’t know your name.”
“If you must know, my name is Tyreal. (2)” He took a step closer to Brian. Who in turn took a step back. Tyreal took a step forward and they continued like this until Brian was trapped by the wall.
“Where am I?”
The vampire gave a devilish grin. “Full of questions tonight aren’t you?” He reached out his hand to cup his victim’s face, who flinched. He was not at all fazed at this but instead gave another grin. “I do recall you willing to sacrifice yourself for me a little while ago. What’s with the change in hart?”
“Is it going to hurt?”
This did confuse Tyreal. “What is going to hurt?”
Brian closed his eyes. “When you bite me, will it hurt?” A tear escaped from under his eyelid. “Is it going to hurt when you kill me?” His voice came to a whisper.
“You shall not die tonight.” He whispered before his teeth sank into the boy’s neck. There was a distant gasp from Brian but was soon followed by a moan. His arms grasped the black jacket and his eyes glazed over in pleasure. A strong hand found its way in between the sheets that covered his body and started stroking his now aching member. Letting out another gasp the teen realized what he was wearing but the thought soon fell out of his mind as the hand left him and the vampire stepped back.
The panting teen reached up and felt his neck, the marks had closed up. Quickly he griped the sheets around himself and looked up, giving a silent pleading.
“Not tonight little one.” Once again he scooped up Brian in a powerful embrace and started towards the stairs. Climbing the stairs Brian tried to get into a position where he could find some relief, but the vampire’s grip was to strong.
The stairs led up to an opulent second floor ballroom with two story ceilings. The stairs twisted again and they came upon a third floor which looked to be servant rooms and workstations. The stairs once again turned and they found themselves once again in a hallway.
“This is where the higher servants and I reside.” Tyreal informed. “There’s also a library and other such rooms.”
“Higher servants?”
“I don’t run a harem here; I take one lover at a time.” Looking down he gave a wink. “And I would never treat my lovers as whores, that’s why they get a good room; of course they usually sleep in mine.”
Brian could only respond with a squeak.
Tyreal carried Brian down the hall until he came to a wooden door. Turing to the left he opened another door which led to a large bedroom.
The real words to describe the room were big, red, and dark. There where of course no windows, only a few candles kept it lit at the moment. The four poster bed was soft and it would take Brian a little effort to get up onto it. The blankets were thick, the sheets were satin, and the pillows were fluffy. The only thing that was not deep red was the mahogany that held it together. There was also a large desk and a nightstand with a small lamp on it, both made from mahogany. The carpet that everything sat on was a deep red and must have been at least two inches thick. Across from the bed was a stone fireplace and to the right of them was a large coat of arms with a Swan on a blood red field under three starts, above those was the phrase “Love as thou Wilt.”
Noticing Brains eyes observe the plaque Tyreal placed him down on the bed. “That is my families coat of arms, of course I am the only one left of them.”
The teen looked up at him. “I’m sorry.” He murmured.
“It’s all right, they all lived out long lives.\" He moved to the wardrobe on the other side of the bed and began rummaging through the cloths. “I was not actually prepared to take you away form your mother for another month, but the Werewolves…”
“So this is the classic vampire hates werewolf war thing, it’s really clichéd.” Brian got up with the sheet and went to see what cloths the vampire was choosing for him.
“Not exactly, see there are twelve werewolf tribes, with there little packs. Anyway the vampires are separated into two… organizations. One of them live completely in or near cities, they don’t have anything to do with the war. The other one, which I and this whole mansion are part of, live anywhere and everywhere, is at war with six out of the twelve tribes.”
Brian blinked. “Six? Why only Six?”
“Well you see there are three really powerful tribes in the Werewolf commune. They each have puppet Alpha males in two other tribes. So our ‘side’ pissed off two of the powerful tribes, so the other four got dragged in. The other powerful tribe didn’t want anything to do with this and are actually hoping that we win, less competition. The other three non-puppet tribes together hardly have the power to face one of the three powers much less two. So here we are at war.”
Brian looked a bit confused “It would sound that you guys would get trampled. I mean how many vampires are there?”
“Actually in some mansion/castles there are up to a hundred. This on only has me.” He informed. “Also we have a few covens on our side. And there’s a small hidden shape shifter kingdom of the east coast that has pledged there allegiance.” Finally he set out the cloths
“That would explain that teleport thingy.” Brian observed the clothing picked out for him. “Am I supposed to wear this?”
“What’s the problem?”
“Well first off it looks about ten sizes to small…” He picked up the leather pants. “And I really don’t like leather… But if you want me to I’ll wear it.” He added hastily.
“Hmm… I know.” Tyreal began rummaging through the wardrobe again. “Here, there cotton, but still black.” He threw the pants at him. “And here’s a shirt.” He announced throwing a loose white T-shirt at him. (3) “Is there any boxers or anything?” He asked the now leaving vampire.
“Nope.” He stated simply. “Oh and Liz will be coming up to measure you for something formal.” And left.
