Chapter 6
It was just past three thirty in the morning by the time Jai returned home. Checking the doorframe for the key, he found it then quietly unlocked the door and went inside. He noticed a faint light on in his room but decided against calling out not wanting to the chance on waking Tara. But as he neared the bedroom door, he could hear her softly moaning. Once reaching it, he slowly opened it and immediately felt his world collapse around him. He hollered out when seeing her in bed with another man. "Tara! What the hell!" His sudden voice caused both her and the guy she was with to look towards the open doorway.
"Oh shit. Jai! Wait!" She said quickly moving from the bed just as he disappeared from the door. Tara managed to stop him from opening the front door then said. "Oh god. Please Jai. I am so sorry."
"What the hell was that about in there? Am I not experienced enough for you? Is that why you won't fuck me, but you will him? What did I do wrong to deserve that? Tell me!"
"I think I should go." The other guy said grabbing his keys and jacket.
"You think?" Jai spat angrily.
Tara nodded to the other, pulling Jaiden away from blocking his exit. She then said after he left. "Jai please. I was upset but it had nothing to do with you."
"Tara. I know the guy you were with. He works as a cashier at Bellows. Damn you. I'm you're freaking boyfriend, not him.”
"Jai please. I'm sorry okay? Damian drove me to this. He knows all the wrong buttons to push. I want you to stay away from him. Nothing good will come from it. Trust me, I know."
"Tara. I am not a little freaking kid. I am a grown man. Twenty-one years old. My inexperience within relationships of any kind has always been my damn downfall. Sometimes, I curse my parents for having kept me under protective watch. I hated them for it when I was younger, but now, I can understand why they did it. Do you want to know why my Auas nas never liked you? It's because she can see right through who you pretend to be and who you really are. I should have listened to her when she told me not to get involved with you."
"Jai. I'm sorry your Aunt feels that way about me. But, it is who I am. My whole life I've been part of this escort business. Call it a family business if you like. That is how my mom met my dad. This is all I know. It's what I grew up with. I can not change for you or for your family."
"I can't take this shit anymore, Tara. I'm out of here." Jai said moving to the door again.
"Jai please. Don't go. I apologize for what happened, okay? Please don't do this."
"Stop with that already! If you truly meant it, none ois wis would even be going on. You've known all this time how I've felt about your job. I hate it. At the beginning, it wasn't like that though. But, you made me grow to hate it. The thing that I hated the most was holding you and smelling another’s scent on you. Do you even realize what that alone, did to me? Or do you even care?" Tara brought her hand up to her mouth then tried to touch him but he swatted it away then added. "Don't ever touch me again."
"Jai please." She started.
"No. I want you out of my life. I can not take this anymore." He then left without saying anything more and could hear her call out his name then shouted a name that he knew as his bands new bass player. "Damian! Damn you!" Just the mention of him sent a chill straight through him to his groin. But this time, he didn't question it nor did he try to ignore it. Once climbing into his car, he started the engine and left the apartment complex.
"How could you do that to me, Tara? Knowing that I would be home at any time. Gah, you bitch!" Jai yelled turning the car sharply to the left and headed out to Damian's place. Once reaching it, he slammed the '68 firebird to a stop and got out, forcefully slamming the car door shut and feeling a little sting on his left hand. He ignored that by hollering out. "Damn you, Tara!" then sank to his knees finally allowing all the emotions that he had kept inside for the last month to rain down on him and he openly wept into his hands.
A short time later a deep voice that he instantly recognized spoke. "Jai?" causing him to look back.
He quickly looked away, wiping his eyes then replied. "Hey. Uh. Sorry for the outburst."
Damian walked closer to him then said when he stopped. "Don't apologize for that. It just proves to me that Tara finally showed her true colors." Jai sat fully on the ground by his car but didn't say anything prompting the other to do so again. "Are you okay?"
"No. I'm not. First, I lose my parents and then I find my freaking girlfriend fucking someone who I thought was a friend of mine, from work. Would you be okay?" Jai snapped at him.
"I meant your hand. It looks like it's bleeding." Damian spoke evenly, pointing to it.
Jai looked down at his left hand now noticing what the stinging sensation had been earlier. A small cut streaked with blood, went from his outer palm to just beneath his little finger. He said leaning back against the left front wheel of his car then eredered. "I'm sorry, man. I shouldn't have lit into you like that. Yeah, I think it'll be okay. I'll have Steph look at it."
"Don't worry about lashing out, it's understandable. But as far as Tara goes. If it's any consolation, I do know how she really is. I've known longer than I really care to admit."
Jai looked up as Damian sat down beside him then asked. "How long have you known her?"
He sighed offering Jai a cigarette when he took one out for himself. After lighting them he answered. "Since I was about your age. Which makes it about five years now. We both worked in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo that is known mostly for it’s shopping and nightlife. But, there is also a darker side that caters to adult fantasies. I used to be her toy and her main kink had always been BDSM, but whenever she was with me personally, it was different."
"What do you mean, different?" Jai asked.
"Tara always enjoyed fucking me in the ass with a strap-on dildo. But I was never allowed to do her. I can remember her telling me one time that I had to earn that luxury, whatever the hell that meant. I worked with her for three years. Pleasing both men and women alike. But, after we broke up, I went to work with another rival service and after that had always made it a mission to drive her mad. And from what I witnessed earlier, I'd say I finally succeeded."
"Hmm." Jai simply replied then added after taking a long drag from his cigarette and letting it out slowly. "She never allowed me to do her either. In fact, she's never done me. Only sucked me off. So, at least you got the chance to go that far."
Damian smiled a little at that response then stated. "As well as I know Tara, that's just her way of saying that she doesn't really think you're worthy enough for her to take the time to you teach that. I know it sounds harsh, but that's just how she is. So, don't take it personally." Jai pondered what he had said then finally nodded without continuing the topic of her.
The both of them spent the remainder of the night talking beside Jai's car and watched the sun begin to rise. An hour after sun-up, Jai stood and stretched then said. "I guess I'm going to have ask Jess and Steph if they can put up with me until I can get my own place, because that apartment was Tara's."
Damian stood as well then replied. "If you like, you can stay with me. I mean there is plenty of room and you could come go any time you wanted."
Jai studied him a little then answered. "Thanks, Damian. I really do appreciate that. I'll need to go pick up a few things."
"Not a problem. When you do come back by, this is the code to enter the grounds as well as a securkey, key, just in case I'm not home when you get back here."
Jai asked curiously. "You trust me enough with these?"
"It's time I paid you back the favor of helping me out." Damian answered with a smile then winked at him and left. Jai felt a tiny flutter in his stomach with that gesture and grinned. He climbed back into his car and left.

Jai drove to Jessie and Steph's to have his hand looked at and told them what had happened between he and Tara then said. "Damian offered me a room at his place, so that's where I'll be. I'm going back to the apartment to get a few things, assuming that they’re still there."
Cassidy asked placing his arms around Steph. "You want me to go with you?"
"I don't think it'll be necessary, but I appreciate it." He answered walking to the door then said after opening it. "I just want to warn you guys that the innocent Jaiden you have always known is going to forever change now. Because I can’t stand not knowing stuff that I should but, please don’t ask me to explain what I mean, just accept it. So from now on, I want to only be known as Jai. Okay?"
His friends nodded to his request and waved to him as he left.
Jessie stated walking to the stairs. "I know what he meant by what he said, but that’s the least of the worries for me. He has been through too much shit already. I can not believe what she did to him. Maybe we should go out to Damian's later, because Jai needs his close friends right now anm gom going to call Leah and see if she wants to go as well."
"Sounds good to me. I have this evening off." Steph answered. Cassidy nodded as well.
Jessie nodded then added choosing to lift the mood. "By the way, I heard everything that was going on last night. So either my hearing is better than I thought. Or you both have gotten louder."
"Jessiah!" Steph yelled tossing a small pillow at him as he ran upstairs.
"Has he ys bys been like that?" Cassidy asked with smirk heading back into her bedroom.
"Yes, unfortunately." She replied with a small grin following behind.
