NEW WARNING: Slight X-Ray bashing in the beginning of the
story (I don’t care for him too much.); it’ll get better for all you X-Ray fans
though.

LAST TIME:

“Hmm…maybe
it’s because it wasn’t done properly.”
[Devlen! Don’t you dare!] He could hear his brother’s laughter in his
head.

“What?”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Squid couldn’t go any further because there
was a hole behind him. Devlen stepped
closer so they were nose to nose.

CHAPTER 6:

Devlen
lifted his hand and put it behind Squid’s head. He then pressed their lips together in a kiss.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Devlen broke it and looked at Squid.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He had his eyes closed still and was
breathing slightly heavy. He leaned in
and licked Squid’s lips to get his attention.
He opened his eyes. “You ok?”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He asked amused.

Squid
blushed and nodded.

“Now,
that wasn’t so bad was it?” Devlen asked with a smile.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> [Bring him over this way Dev.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> It’s almost our turn.]

Squid
shook his head. “It was nice.”

“Just
nice?” Devlen asked as he pulled Squid
back in line. “If that was all it was
then we’ll just have to work on it some more.

Loki
giggled and pressed his face into Zigzag’s chest to muffle it.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Zigzag just smirked.

“Let’s
go Zero, you’re next.” They heard Mr.
Sir say.

After
they all got their water Mr. Sir left and they all got back to their holes.

After
another hour of digging the twins saw Zero jump out of his hole.

“Are
you done Zero?” Loki asked.

Zero
paused and sat at the edge of Loki’s hole.
“Yeah. I’m usually the first to
finish.”

“Ha!style="mso-spacerun: yes"> The usually?” That was from Zigzag.
Loki and Zero looked at him. “Zero always finishes first.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He’s like the fastest digger in the camp.”

Loki
turned back to look at Zero. “Is that
right?”

Zero
just shrugged and then he smiled. “Yeah, I guess so.”

[Looks
like we know who to follow then.]
Devlen said.

[Looks
like it. But for a few days, we should probably finish somewhere near last.]

[Good
idea.]

Loki
took a sip of water and stopped again.
He looked up at Zero to find he was staring at his hole and then he
would glance over at Devlen’s with a thoughtful look on his face.

“Something
wrong Zero?” Loki asked him.

Zero
looked back down at him and then stood back up. He grabbed his shovel. “We
can talk about it later.” He left.

[Shit.]style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Loki sent to his brother.

[No
kidding.]

It
was an hour later when the twins decided that it was time to finish their hole.
Zigzag and Squid had stayed behind after they finished their hole; X-Ray and
Caveman were the only ones left. Devlen
smiled at X-Ray and waved when he caught him looking.

The
twins dug in the dirt one last time and then jumped out.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> They smiled over at Squid and Zigzag.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> “Are you guys ready?”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Loki asked.

They
nodded and stood with their shovels.

The
twins walked in between Zigzag and Squid.

“So
what did you two think about your first day of digging?”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Zigzag asked.

Loki
looked at him and bumped his right shoulder with Zigzag’s as they walked.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> “It was ok.
Nothing we haven’t done before.”

Devlen
looked sharply at his brother. [What are you doing?]style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He hissed.

[They’re
gonna wonder why we have no blisters on our hands Dev.]

“What
do you mean?” Squid asked as he walked
beside Devlen. He decided to be brave
and threw his right arm around Devlen’s shoulders.

Devlen
smiled at him and wrapped his left arm around Squid’s waist.

“While
we were over in England we had some marshal arts training.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Part of the training involved hard labor,
which included a lot of work with our hands.
So the skin is pretty tough.
Maybe, once we get to know each other really well, we’ll tell you
everything.” Devlen answered with a
smile in Squid’s direction.

“Cool.”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He smiled back at him.

They
reached the camp then and decided to go into the Reck Room.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> They walked over to an empty pool table and
asked the twins if they wanted to play.
They said they did.

“Do
you guys want to play teams?” Zigzag
asked them.

“Yea
sure.” Loki said and then he looked up
into Zigzag’s eyes, “You can be on my team.”
He smiled up at him as he rubbed his right hand on Zigzag’s pec.

“Yea
alright.” He smiled back and grabbed
Loki’s hand in his own.

“Besides,
it’s only fair that you separate me and Loki.”
Devlen said while he picked out a stick. For the room looking as bad as it did they had surprisingly good
pool sticks.

“Me
and Devlen were brought up on this game guys.
We know all the tricks.” Loki
said as he racked the balls.

Squid
broke and the game started.

After
an hour of playing they decided to quit and go back to the tent before dinner.

“Well,
that was fun. You guys are pretty good.”style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Squid said as he walked beside Devlen.

Devlen
changed the subject. “Who was that
blonde guy that was sitting over in the corner?”

“Oh,
that was Spencer. He’s almost a big a
jerk as X-Ray. Why?”

“He
kept staring at my brother and it was getting on my nerves.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> If we hadn’t of left I woulda had a talking
to with Spencer.” He paused.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> “As it is he’s about to get his ass handed
to him if he doesn’t stop following us.”

Squid
and Zigzag looked surprised and then turned around. Sure enough Spencer was there.
When he saw them looking at him he turned back around and went somewhere
else.
