Fallen Hero

 

Raven  glanced down at Raine ,who was asleep  on his side. The blobde studied the other male as he slept  on. Raines mouth hung partly  open as he snored softly . With the smattering of freckles  across  his face he looked  younger  than he was. The smaller  male had the most beautiful  green eyes  that gold flecks . His blue/black hair in wild disarray , making him look like a debauched  angle. He leaned  over to lick a bare shoulder. Raine shifted but remained asleep. The blonde tried again ,this time he swirled his tongue around a patch of skin before  he sucked on the skin.

"Mmm.I'm awake ."

Raven smirked as the other turned to face him .

"Good morning,little  one. Sleep wellast ?"

"Yeah."

Raine sat up with a wince .

"What's wrong?"

"I'm sore ."

"Aww,let me kiss it and make it better ."

Raine turned bright  red.

"You're such a pervert !"

Raven chuckled noticing  the others blush.

"I can't help it. You make me hot ."

Raines eyes went wide , his face getting redder .

" How did I let you convince me to do this? I must be crazy "

The blonde looked at him with a smirk.

"I don't mind . Be as crazy as you want to be  ."

Raine rolled his eyes as he slid out of bed ,he heard the other whistle  and he gasped ,trying to cover himself . He gave Raven a glare before he slid into his boxers and pants . He finished getting dressed then left for his place .

Raine sat while looking at the newspaper. It  seemed the people  were taking Rockets 'death' a little hard . No one knew what happened  or where he was ,but rumors ran rampant  that Rocket died on patrol . He vanished and hadn't been  seen since . Many suspected Kickback ,  the new guy in town. He appeared  suddenly  after Rocket  disappeared . Kickback was building up a reputation  as someone who was looking for Kevin Martel. Nobody knew anything of him of ,other what to make of him . The people  were asking for answers  ,wondering what was going on . Many expressed concern over Rockets disappearance . While to Raines surprise  others took to the streets  dressed as Rocket . The more he read , the worse  he felt .  He was getting in over his head and it needed to stop . He wasn't some cheap slut ,so he he had to stop acting like one . At the same time  he couldn't  help how he felt . This  was all new and exciting  to him and he didn't know how to react. The sooner Martels' men called them ,the better . It had almost been two weeks  since they said they would call Raven . When this was over and if they managed  to live  through  this ,Raine would part ways with the blonde and they could get on with their  lives . So with that in mind ,he decided to focus  on  the  plan to infiltrate  Martels organization  and  bring  him to justice . Two days later Raven received  a text with the directions on where to go. According  to the  message  Martel himself  would be there . Excited  by the news ,Raine  and Raven made plans to go to the appointed place . Ravens virus  had activated  and now all they had to do was get near enough  to pick up a signal . If they could do that then Raven would be able to hook up to any computer  and copy any information  he wanted . They just had to get Martel to trust them .

"I don't know . I think it's a trap ."

"I wouldn't  be  surprised  if  it  was  a  trap . We just  have  to be careful . You don't  need  to do this  if you  don't  want  to  you know . "

"I know ,but I want to. That man has ruined many lives .  He needs  to  be  stopped . "

Raven nodder as he looked at the other solemnly . 

"Okay . We just have to be careful . "

Nor long a car pulled up to the warehouse . The pair looked on as the driver's  door opened , a tall male came out  and opened  the back door. A medium  set man came out . He had brown  hair  and was very well dressed . He glanced  around as he stood by  the  car .

Raine took a deep breath  to calm his nerves .

"Ready or not . Let's go ."

Kevin Martel  looked in surprise  as he saw the dou walk up to him. He frowned  as he studied  them . 

"So you're  Gadjet ? Hmm ."

Raven looked at  Kevin without any  expression as he nodded . 

"Okay ,and who's  your friend ? "

"The names  Kickback . "

Martel  glanced  at  them  for a  moment  with that frown . 

"I hear you've  been looking  for  me . What  do  you  wanthink ?"

"Nothing  much , just wanna  look for some action ."

"Looking for some action  you say. What's  that  got to do with  me ?"

"Well you  are the man to go to aren't  you ?  Let me cut to the chase .  I did you  a favor  and  got rid of Rocket  for you . "

"Yeah you did .  He was  getting  to be  annoying .  Still like I said ,  what's  that got to do with me ?"

"No offense , but the way I see  it , you owe me. Now before you say anything  me and  my  associate  just want to be with the best in the city .  "

Martel  looked thoughtful  as he seemed  to  be  thinking  about  Ravens  offer . Raven on the other hand was doing his best to appear  casual , while on the inside  he was  scared that the plan wouldn't work . This was their only shot at getting close to  Martel. They had to make it count  .

"Tell you what . I'll give you a try. If you prove yourselves , then okay .I have to admit  you did get rid  of  my Rocket  problem . Bastard was a  thorn in my side . Glad I don't have to worry about the prick anymore . "

Raine  had to restrain himself  from showing  any emotion , but it still irked  him to hear the pompous  fool talk that way about him. Raven glanced  over at him and felt relief  when the other male didn't react to Martels  words , the only sign  Raine showed was the subtle  clenching  of his hands and a slight stiffness  of posture .  

"No problem. Now that that's  behind you mind telling the guys on  the  roof to put their  guns down ?"

Martel  looked surprised  before he chuckled  as he shook his head .

"Nice. So tell me what kind of skills  do you have to bring to my organization    ?"

Raven smirked as he glanced at Raine . 

"You mean besides taking  care of your  Rocket  problem ?  Well let's  see , I am  a  techno  wiz . I can make you rich . Very rich.I'm handy with a computer . I can make it   so that you will  be  able  to  run  this  city . That do it for you   ?"

Martel  seemed  impressed . He grinned  at them  as he looked at his driver .

"I like this kid . He's got balls . Okay  and what can your  associate  do ?"

"He can hold his own .  "

"I don't know . He's  kinda  small."

Raine  bristled at the man .

" Come here and I'll show you what  this small  person  can do."

Raven shook his head as he looked at Raine . 

"Kickback , here may be small , but what he lacks in size , he makes up for in skills. He can handle himself ."

Martel  looked skeptical .  He smirked  as he glanced  at the smaller  male.

"I guess I'll have to take  your  word for  it . "

Suddenly Raine  launched  himself at the man as he ducked the driver and twirled  toward  Martel  and grabbed his  arm as he  twisted  it behind his back.

"Test me , you'll  see what I can do."

Raven stood in  shock as he stared at Raine . The whole thing  happened  so fast ,  he couldn't  react in time. He watched  as the smaller  male  let go and stepped  back with a grin . Thinking that Raine had had put them in danger , he was shocked  to hear Martel  chuckle . 

"Well, well, looks like  this small fry has a bite to him. Yeah , you've  convinced  me . See me here tomorrow  at the same time . "

Martel turned  and climbed  into  the  car  and moments later . Raven glared at Raine , who crossed his arms  across  his chest .

"WHAT ?"

"You know what ! Damn it you could've  had us killed . What were you  thinking  pulling  that stunt ! "

"I had to ! He didn't respect  me ,so I had to show  him that I could handle  myself."

"That's not the way to do it ."

"We're  in aren't  we? That's all that matters . So drop it okay . "

Raine  walked stiffly away ,but didn't  get  far as the blonde  caught  up  with  him . He grabbed  his arm and held him stil.

"Don't take  what  that man said so seriously . He was just blowing  smoke  out of  his  ass."

"I know , but think , if I let him disrespect  me then he would start to wonder if he should bother with me . The two of us need to be in this or the plan won't work . You need to work on getting Intel  on this  fool and you need back up . Like it or not  I'm all you have , I know it was risky ,  but hey, it worked . If the two of us do this right  we can discuss this  fast and with little  risk  to our lives . "

The blonde  hated to admit  it   ,but Raine was right  . They both needed  each other  for this  crazy  plan to work .

Raine shifted  as he lay in his bed . He felt bad about  refusing  the blondes  offer  to stay the night   , but he wanted to have a clear  head  and a night with Raven  wasn't  going to help . This  thing  between  them  had  to  stop  or something  was going to  happen .  The quicker  he distanced  himself  the better off he would be . He just didn't  want  to  get  hurt  thinking  that  there  could be something  between  them. He sighed as he turned . When this was all over and if they succeeded  then he could get back to his life  and  concentrate  on  his studies  and maybe  even  have  a  good  job . Yes he would  do that. He just  couldn't  help  keep  thinking  about  Raven .  What were  his plans  for  himself ? Did  he intend  on  being  Gadjet  or was he going to  quit   ? Not  that  it  was  any of his business   , but he was  curious . 

Meanwhile  Raven  was having  a   similar  problem . He couldn't  sleep  and hus mind kept  going  back  to  Raine . The other  male  flatly  refused  to stay the night . In fact  he was  acting  strange  . Smiling  to himself  he though  of  the small male with the attitude  of  a  firecracker .  Something  was on his mind and the blonde  wanted  to  know  what  it was . It was  weird ,  but Raven  found himself  wanting more  than  just sexual from  the  little  one .

All rights  guys just another  Chappie added  to  my story .  

To those who were waiting   ,sorry  it took so long . 

Family  matters  came  up  and I kinda  got sidetracked .
