Christina went home and soaked in the tub and was glad that the few bruises she had left were fading quickly. Her phone buzzed and she answered it.

“Hello?”

“Hey Christina.”

She rolled her eyes as Elmer’s voice entered her mind.

“Hello Elmer, what can I do for you?”

“I was just wondering if you’d like to go out to eat with me?”

She sighed.

“Elmer...”

“No no, just as friends, you can have straight male friends can’t you?”

She chewed on her lip she supposed she could.

“Well of course, when?”

“Saturday I have some things to do for my mom on Sunday.”

“I’m sorry Elmer, I’m busy on Saturday.”

“But it won’t take long.”

“I have plans to eat with some friends on Saturday and then we’re going out somewhere.”

“Oh I see, well I did sort of spring the idea on you, perhaps next weekend then?”

“Maybe I’ll check my calender.”

“Night.” he said quickly.

He was sitting outside in his car and glaring daggers at the house from his hiding spot across the street.

“Relax Elmer you need to give her time to think it over like she said.” he told himself.

He drove off, annoyed.

All too soon it was Friday and Christina was leaving the school she stumbled and dropped her purse. She bent down to pick up her things and didn’t notice Elmer until he was standing over her, she screamed then took a breath realizing who it was, she was a bit paranoid.

“Oh! Elmer don’t sneak up on people.”

He chuckled as she grabbed her things and stood up.

“Sorry Christina I just hurried over because I knew you were leaving and didn’t want to waste time.”

“What do you need?”

“I would like to properly invite you out to breakfast on Saturday.”

She sighed.

“Elmer I have things to do in the morning and I told you that I would be busy the rest of the day.”

“But I’ve been so nice.”

“You have been nice, but that doesn’t change my plans.”

“Christina I’m getting really tired of you turning me down.” he said.

She backed away from him.

“I’m not turning you down I’m saying ‘some other time’.”

He scoffed and turned on his heel to leave, she shook her head and walked to her car that Frank only let her have back since he would be gone. She climbed in the car and drove down the road ,she soon looked in the rear view mirror and saw that Elmer was following her. She took a few different turns than she normally did eventually his truck gave up she imagined he could have run out of gas. She continued and took herself home, not realizing that he already knew where she lived so didn’t matter. She locked herself in and went right to bed.

The next morning Christina got ready and went to the mall not because she had to but because she wanted to. The large building was sitting surrounded by a lot of houses and was rather popular and most of the stores were expensive. The mall was beautiful with several small fountains on the first layer and lots of flower pots with lovely flowers decorating the food court and most of the mall. She walked into a store to look at some nice sweaters it was starting to get colder and she really just wanted to treat herself.

“Mrs. Delmone?”

She looked up and saw Julia walking over she smiled.

“Hello Julia.”

“I didn’t know you shopped here.”

“I don’t usually.”

“Have you seen Diamond, I tried calling her but she didn’t answer.”

“Why would I have seen her?”

“You guys are friends aren’t you?”

“Well yes, but I haven’t talked to her today.”

“Oh okay, hey can I ask you something?”

Christina pulled a clingy white turtleneck off the rack.

“Sure.”

“Why don’t you like me?”

She cocked her head.

“I never said I didn’t like you.”

“You didn’t have to.”

“I like all my students.” she said softly.

“Really?”

“Of course, I wouldn’t teach you guys if I didn’t.”

“If you say so.”

“Julia come on!”

“Oh I have to go, see you at school.”

She waved as Julia darted to the door to join some friends Christina hadn’t seen before, she grabbed a few more sweaters and went to try them on; she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was being watched.

Elmer followed Christina all day, he was pissed he couldn’t believe she would rather shop by herself then spend time with him. He followed her home and hid in his normal spot and watched her dress through the window. She pulled on a pair of skin tight leather pants and a nice blood red silk top that clung to her curves. The sleeves started at her biceps and ended close to her hands, the top was heart shaped and showed an acceptable amount of cleavage. She shoved some tennis shoes in her purse and slipped on some dark red high heeled boots. It wasn’t too cold tonight and she wanted to wear the top before it got too bad, she grabbed her purse and a jacket.

She walked downstairs to let Diamond in she had knocked but was on the phone, she had on black tights and a short cream colored dress with thin straps she wore a jacket but if she took it off Christina would have seen that the dress was backless. Her heels matched the dress, she didn’t look as casual but very sexy. Christina blushed darkly and looked away as she finished her phone call.

“Christina you look great who knew you had something like that in your closet it shows off your curves nicely.”

She brushed her hair out of her face.

“Thanks...you too.....but I think I should change.”

“Oh no, come on.”

“You look so dressed up though.”

“But he said sexy casual, I thought this was fine should we stop at my house so I can change first?”

“No no let’s go.”

They got in the car and Christina gave her the directions Elmer decided to go help his mother.

Matthew lived in a nice house near one of the under developed neighborhoods, it had six rooms, six bathrooms and one half bathroom, his kitchen was wood and marble and he had a larger pool. There was a small green house so he could garden whenever he felt like it, each room had a different theme. The living room was beige and blue it was beautiful and calming only the best leather furniture decorated the room. The fire place was going and he had thrown some cinnamon in the whole house had a nice good smell to it. His boyfriend, Keith let them in, Matthew was wearing a nice silk suit and Keith was dressed the same thing in a different color but he had taken off his jacket. Keith was a little shorter than Matthew, he was tan, has short sandy blond hair, light hazel eyes and his left ear is pierced. He squealed and hugged Christina.

“Oh Chrissy we haven’t seen you in ages dollface how ya been honey?”

“Just fine Keith how about you?”

“Can’t complain, you look fantastic.” he said as he helped her out of her coat.

She smiled.

“Thanks so do you.”

He waved it off and did a twirl.

“Honey please I know I look fabulous, I have to.”

She laughed, Diamond came in and slipped out of her coat before Keith spotted her he gasped.

“And who is this little cupcake you’ve brought with you?”

“Uh Keith this is Diamond, Diamond this is Matthew’s boyfriend, Matthew invited her.”

He hugged her too.

“Well welcome it’s so nice to meet you and girl you are working that dress.”

She laughed and flipped her hair.

“Oh thanks boo but I already know.”

Christina laughed as Keith got her to vogue and strike some poses with him.

“Oh, sassy, I like that, come on in to the kitchen ladies Matt just pulled the quiche out of the oven.”

Lizzie also showed up and they met Gregory, a brunette with gray eyes, and Luke, another cute blond with blue eyes. Then Jessica, a pretty little thing with platinum blond hair and green eyes, and Francine, a tall woman with short black hair who had also showed up in a suit. Apparently Keith wanted to do a little fashion show and the “casual” part was just an extra unneeded adjective. After dinner they decided to go to a movie, why? Because there were two couples who hadn’t yet had a chance to fool around in a crowded theatre and they needed look outs.

They picked a horror movie, Christina’s face was hidden behind her hands she didn’t want to give herself nightmares knowing she was sleeping alone. Diamond nudged her.

“It’s not that scary.” she whispered.

“Liar.”

She laughed at her.

“Scaredy-cat.”

“And proud of it.” she said quickly.

Diamond put an arm around her Christina dropped her hands and looked at her, Diamond smiled.

“Don’t worry you have nothing to be afraid of, it’s not like you’re by yourself.”

Christina stared at her lap.

“Yeah I guess.”

She jumped as the woman on the screen screamed just before her body was torn to pieces.

Diamond dropped her off after they had ice cream, apparently Keith needed something sweet after sex and the ice cream shop was the closest. Francine promised to pay for his share if he didn’t give anymore details aside from what he had already shared, he was quiet the rest of the night.

Christina walked inside and locked up, she went upstairs and threw her tennis shoes off, they went to the ten o’ clock showing she was tired and ready for bed. She took off her top and went in the bathroom to shower she was glad Matthew had changed the day she would love to just sleep in tomorrow morning. She stripped off the rest of her clothes and threw them in the laundry basket, the top would have to be dry cleaned. As she showered she was lost in her own little world, she normally didn’t get to have long showers, Frank hated cold showers and she always lost track of the time.

She couldn’t help but think of how nice Diamond looked tonight, she had even tried on a few of Keith’s clothes that he had designed and they showed off a lot more. She shook her head, Diamond wasn’t someone she should be fantasizing about. At least that was what she told herself, for whatever reason herself wasn’t listening. She ran her soapy hands over her breasts, she and Frank didn’t have sex he said he didn’t want to because she was too fat for him. She moved over her flat stomach, his comment is what made her eat less, but she hadn’t felt fat dancing with Diamond at Matthew and Keith’s house.

Diamond had no problem holding her close, she blushed she was just frustrated and needed a little release and Diamond just so happen to look really good in tight clothes. “Hello love, did you have fun tonight? I was made as you but that little show was so good I let it go.”
