A/N Next chapter already, amazingly =)
@ kylee: Thanks so much for the review, I'm glad you liked it =) No Paige in this chapter, but you got her appearance pretty well right on the nose.

Hunter’s palms were sweaty as he fit his key into the lock of his apartment door. He’d felt overheated for the last two blocks, but that had less to do with the leather jacket Amon had made him wear when the wind picked up and more to do with knowledge that he’d be bitten soon.

Amon had explained things a little more clearly on the bus.

Hunter was still reeling from the knowledge that this wasn’t a one time thing, that since Amon had gone all the way and Bound him to him, they’d be together for quite some time. Hunter had naturally tried to pitch a fit about it, but in retrospect he was glad Amon had… Calmed him. The bus wasn’t really a good place for it.

The fact remained, though, that Hunter was the only one Amon could feed on. Which meant nightly, but Amon had assured him that through the Bond Hunter had gained a fair amount of regenerating ability, which meant his body could withstand the blood less and a fair bit of other damage no problem.

So Amon was moving in, and had told him all about how they were going to have to sun proof the apartment. Hunter had to admit, an extra body paying rent that didn’t eat their food would be welcome from a financial standpoint. But how the hell was he going to explain this to his girlfriend? Or his best friend, Ben? And how the hell were all four of them going to cohabit in an undersized two bedroom apartment?

Amon said his Strain (there were different types! Hunter still didn’t know what to think about that) didn’t need to sleep, that most of them didn’t. His body didn’t magically fall unconscious during the day. As long as he had blood to refuel he could stay awake and busy indefinitely. And it’s not like he was going to be home constantly once the sun went down, he had places to be. Which solved the problem on where Amon would sleep because Hunter refused to invite the Vampire to sleep in the bedroom he shared with his girlfriend – Nancy – and Ben sure as hell wasn’t going to want Amon monopolizing his room during the day.

Thinking of Nancy made Hunter hesitate. Ben would be easy, Ben would understand what had gone down and make the best of it. Ben was like that, easy going and optimistic in almost any given situation. Nancy was a lot like that too, loving and honest with a perverted sense of humour and a voyeuristic streak. If Hunter believed in god he’d pray that Nancy’s only response to this situation was to ask to watch during nightly feedings.

Well, he supposed, that was that. There was no sense standing outside dwelling about it. He may as well just go in and face the music, so to speak. He blinked, realizing that he’d been standing there staring at the door for a while.

Amon was leaning easily against the wall, apparently content to wait and check the rest of the hallway out while Hunter thought things through.

“Ready?” Was all the Vampire asked when he noticed Hunter looking at him.

“Not even a little,” Hunter sighed tiredly and turned the key in the lock before opening up the door and stepping inside. “I’m home!” He called quietly. The hall light was on, but none of the other main ones were. That didn’t necessarily mean anything, since Ben might be home and watching TV in his bedroom, or Nancy could be taking a bath. All three of them were half nocturnal themselves, preferring to stay up as late as work schedules would allow. Hunter liked to stay up, but he and Ben also liked their sleep. Nancy never seemed bothered by averaging five hours a night, but Hunter was an absolute wreck after a few nights of less than 8 hours, snapping at people and grumbling for no reason. Ben did better, but a lot of that was just a front. The two of them practically swam in coffee.

Speaking of, Hunter peaked inside the slightly messy kitchen. The coffee pot was off, so Ben wasn’t up.

Hunter realized Amon was still loitering in the hallway and moved out of the doorway.

“Do you need an invite to be allowed in here? Or – something.” He asked, feeling horribly out of his element. He hadn’t known for sure that vampires were real, and now that he knew, things that he was learning seemed to be off. Hunter hadn’t even believed in them at all until Ben showed him this website made by a paranoid bunch of loonies that reported real cases of Vampiric like attacks or deaths.

“Nah, you just seemed hesitant so I didn’t wanna rush.” The Vampire replied easily and walked in, locking the door behind them, “Will you cut me a key tomorrow?”

“Um,” Hunter frowned at that. He wanted to say he would, but he wanted to wait and see what Nancy and Ben said first. He really needed some outside input on this entire fucking mess.

“Don’t worry about it. So where are we doing this?” Ah. So that was why the Vampire was being so mellow and accommodating. The faster he got Hunter to chill, the sooner they could get down to business. Hunter resisted the heat spreading through him and hung Amon’s jacket over the back of a chair.

“I’ve been missing for almost 24 hours, they’re probably worried sick.” Hunter replied, trying to act like he wasn’t over eager for the bite. Even though it was feel so good, total pleasure… Mm.

… No, it wasn’t time for that yet. Hunter wasn’t going to blow off Ben and Nancy, he didn’t care how damn good it felt. He kicked his shoes off and padded across the beige carpeting to knock on Ben’s door.

“Ben?” Hunter called, cracking the door open and peeking in. Ben wasn’t in bed. Hunter walked the rest of the way down the hallway. His bedroom door was open; Nancy never closed it, not even when she was sleeping or changing. “Nance?” He called. She wasn’t there either. The bathroom door was open and the lights were off. Apparently no one was home. Well, it was Friday and two AM. Maybe they went out or something? Hunter hoped so; he’d feel guilty if they’d just been hanging around worrying about him.

“Well, no one’s home.” Hunter jumped as Amon sidled up behind him. He hadn’t heard him coming. “Wanna get into bed?” The Vampire murmured, resting his hands on Hunter’s hips and nibbling at the back of his neck.

Hunter started to actually tremble. He couldn’t take much more of this teasing; he was so hard he hurt. “N-no.” He managed.

“No? Fuckin’ seriously, Hunter?” The Vampire tried not to sound too pissed off, but Hunter heard it anyways. He slid his arms around the human’s waist, and Hunter was surprised to find that the erection Amon was pressing against his backside wasn’t completely… Off putting.

“You don’t want… It?” Amon had to change his sentence at the last minute so he didn’t say “me” instead. He didn’t want to look that pathetic. He gave the back of Hunter’s neck a hard suck, relishing the way the human moaned and leaned against him. “Are you positive?” He asked, nibbling his way along the side of Hunter’s throat.

“N.. N - … couch..” Hunter’s knees gave out when Amon bit just softly enough that he didn’t break skin. He felt like he was on fire. Amon nibbled up to Hunter’s ear and gave that some attention instead, ignoring it went the human squirmed in protest. Amon got it, oh he got it loud and clear. Hunter didn’t want to do anything with him in the bed where he fucked his precious girlfriend. Jealousy surged through him.

He knew he had no business feeling that way, but he didn’t care. Hunter was his.

He held Hunter against him easily with one arm while the other one reached down to cup the bulge in his pants. Hunter arched and thrust into his hand, breathing hard.

“Because, if you don’t want to, we don’t have to do this…” Amon said conversationally, voice slightly muffled against Hunter’s throat. He slowly pulled his hand away from Hunter’s crotch and moved his head back up, moving as if he meant to stand Hunter back up on his own feet.

“N-No! I want-“ Hunter was panting.

You’re mine. “Oh, you want to? Are we gonna go to bed, then?” He asked pointedly, but had the sneaking suspicion Hunter might have missed his tone.

“Y-yeah,” Hunter had barely gotten the word out before Amon scooped him easily into his arms. The Vampire strode into the bedroom, kicking the door shut behind them. He didn’t think it closed all the way, but he wasn’t going back to check.

Hunter didn’t protest the way Amon neatly manipulated him into using the bed. He didn’t protest it when Amon carried him like a girl. He didn’t protest when he was laid down on the bed and Amon snaked in to rest between his legs, again as though he were a girl.

He twisted his head to the side to bare his neck, “Please?” He managed. Fuck, he hoped he developed some kind of tolerance to this. He was so pathetic.

Amon settled his crotch against Hunter’s and supported himself on his hands. Hunter’s blood wasn’t even close to everything he wanted from him, but it was a start. Still though. He wanted Hunter to get off on him, not just his strange, modified saliva that made the receiver feel euphoric when it hit the blood stream.

He ground against his Thrall, causing them both to moan out in pleasure. He humped against him, getting lost in the sensations for a moment as Hunter’s body responded and moved underneath him.

“Amon-“ Hunter managed as he reached his arms up to twine around the Vampire’s neck. He pulled Amon down so his face was pressed against his neck, “Now.” There, Hunter had given an order. Now he could feel like he was in charge again.

Yeah, right.

Amon gave Hunter’s pale neck a quick kiss before turning his head and biting him, hard. Hunter cried out as sharp pain and then mind numbing pleasure overcame him. Amon groaned as Hunter’s blood crackled over his tongue and slid down his throat. What, like it was only good for his human? Every suckle, every mouthful of Hunter’s blood got him practically drunk on pleasure.

He reached one arm tightly around Hunter’s waist and used his other hand to slide under their body and cup his thrall’s ass. Hunter didn’t complain, didn’t really understand anything outside the intense sensations coursing through him. The harder the Vampire sucked, the better it felt.

They slid together for a time, and Amon cursed the clothing between them all the while until orgasm slammed into him and clamped his teeth down harder. He held still and just basked for a moment as Hunter’s blood still dripped over his tongue. Finally. He’d drank his fill. He slid his teeth out of the now bruised and bitten flesh. Hunter was still breathing hard and his eyes were closed, mouth open in rapture. Amon lapped at the bite wound until it stopped bleed and healed. His neck was still bruised and raw, but Amon knew it would heal quickly. The benefits of a Bond.

He leaned forward and slowly licked across Hunter’s lower hip, curious if he could get any action out of the dazed human now that he’d been satisfied. Amon glanced down at their damp crotches. He’d only come once, but he was pretty sure Hunter had come right when he’d bit him, and then after that too. He nuzzled his beak-like nose against Hunter’s jaw. He could feel just a little bit of stubble starting. He’d have to get the human to shave soon, if he could. But given the way Hunter was laying entirely limp underneath him, he didn’t think the human was getting up anytime soon.

“Fuck!” Amon paused as he went to lap at Hunter’s mouth again. He sighed irritably and looked over his shoulder at the slim young man standing in the doorway. His almond shaped blue eyes were wide as dinner plates.

Oh great. One of the roomies was home.
