Chapter 5:

It was Saturday night, the day after Brittany invited her “best friend” to go bowling with her. She didn’t know if she was nervous, excited, or both. Now that both of their feelings for each other were out in the open, Brittany didn’t know if there would be any awkwardness between them. How bad could it be? We ARE friends! Brittany thought to herself. It was a little after eight P.M. when Brittany arrived in front of Kaylee’s house. She got out of her car, walked up to the door, and knocked. Kaylee answered almost immediately.
“How did you get here?” asked Kaylee a little confused
“Well, during our little…” said Brittany pausing to think of what to say, “thing… I got my license and a car.”
“Cool, so are you driving then?” asked Kaylee grabbing her bag.
“Of course,” said Brittany, “To your royal carriage my princess.”
They both laughed as they walked down the path which led to Brittany’s car. Brittany opened the passengers’ door and helped Kaylee in before running rushing around to the drivers’ side and getting in herself.
“You ready?” asked Brittany starting the car.
“Let’s get rockin’!” yelled Kaylee reaching over and blaring the radio.
They drove off and the only thing knew was that they were going to have fun.

When they arrived at the bowling alley, and paid for the games they were going to play. They walked over to their designated lane and set up the score board. Brittany was first and bowled a spare right away. Kaylee grabbed her ball and got ready to roll it. She let go of the ball, but it immediately fell into the gutter. As she walked back to the ball returner to retrieve her ball again, Brittany walked up behind her. They both proceeded to the lane. Brittany stood behind Kaylee and made sure Kaylee’s feet were placed right. She had one hand on Kaylee left hip and the other one on Kaylee’s right arm.
“Now, just swing your arm back, and roll the ball. Make sure you keep your wrist straight,” Brittany said explaining it to Kaylee
Brittany helped her through the all the movements to show Kaylee how it feels. They both stood there as they watched the ball as it rolled down the alley and knocked down all of the pins.
“Oh my god, that was so easy. Thank you!” said Kaylee jumping up and down.
“See, I told you. Just remember to keep your wrist straight.”
They continued their games until they were done. By the time they finished, it was eleven and they were sore. They got in the car and discussed their next move.
“So, I don’t suppose you want to come over and go for a swim? asked Kaylee nervously.
“Why not?”
“Well ‘cause last time it kinda turned out bad!”
“Well, that was then, everything is out now, and we are good. So, I don’t have a problem with it.”
“Really?”
“Really!” said Brittany lightly touching Kaylee’s thigh.

They walked into the house, got into their bathing suits, and walked out to the pool. Kaylee jumped in almost immediately after turning the pool light on. Brittany stood off to the side on the deck for a few minutes watching her friend swim in the dimly lit water. She was swimming so gracefully back and forth. Her hair moved smoothly along with her.
“Are you coming in or what?” asked Kaylee
“Huh?” was all Brittany responded.
“Are you going to come in or are you gonna stand there all night?” repeated Kaylee
Brittany jumped in. the two swam for what seemed for hours, but in reality was only a few minutes. They dunked and splashed each other the whole time. After awhile, they both just swam next to each other. Relaxing and floating around. And then…
“Wait…hold on… DON’T MOVE!” whispered Brittany
“What? What’s wrong?” said Kaylee standing completely still.
“There is a huge beetle in your hair,” said Brittany walking closer towards Kaylee and removing the beetle from her hair.
“Thank you,” said Kaylee with a slight smile as she watched Brittany throw the beetle out of the pool.
“No problem,” said Brittany still really close to Kaylee
They stood and stared into each others eyes. Not moving, not even thinking, and if they could, they probably wouldn’t be breathing. Not saying a word, just staring deep into each others soles, trying to figure out what each other was feeling at the moment. They both moved in closer. Then it happened. The two pairs of warm lips met. They kissed right there in the middle of the pool. The light shined on them through the glistening clear water. It was one of those moments that you only see in movies. As the kiss ended and they pulled apart, Brittany slowly opened her eyes to see that Kaylee still had here eyes closed and a slight little smile sweeping across her face. Kaylee’s eyes opened and the smile grew. Brittany reached over, grabbed Kaylee’s head and kissed her like she was never going to see her again. It was the perfect moment. She had been waiting for this to happen for months and here they were. Kaylee and herself together in the pool kissing. It was her dream come true.
“Kaylee, I love you!” said Brittany still holding Kaylee’s head, their foreheads touching lightly.
“I love you too, Brittany.”
They kissed again for a few moments. They decided it was time to get out and go in the house when they heard thunder in the distance. They dried off quickly before they entered the house. No one was home. Everyone was out doing their own thing, even that late! They both went their separate ways to change into dry cloths before meeting in Kaylee’s room. They sat down next to each other on Kaylee’s bed in silence for a few moments.
“My mom and dad called and said they aren’t going to be home tonight and my sisters are hanging with their friends all night.” said Kaylee breaking the silence, “I was wondering if you’d like to spend the night?”
Brittany lightly laid her right hand on the inside of Kaylee’s left thigh. She moved it slowly in circles. She leaned in and kissed the older girl on the cheek. They both knew what Kaylee meant by “spend the night”.
“I would LOVE too!” said Brittany pushing Kaylee down on the bed.
Kaylee and Brittany were lying in Kaylee’s room. The lights were off and only one candle was lit in the middle of the room, illuminating Kaylee’s face. Brittany started to crawl off the bed as Kaylee unknowingly started staring at her luscious body, but quickly snapped out of it when she realized that Brittany was taking off her cloths.
“Don’t mind me,” Brittany said smiling
Brittany knowing fully well what she was doing started to slowly raise her shirt over her head. The shirt slowly fell to the floor as she started to walk towards Kaylee.
“Help me,” Brittany said grinning
“B-but…” Kaylee stuttered flustered
Brittany laughed and kneeled on the bed in front of her, lying her hands on her hips fingering the rim of her own shorts.
“But what?” said Brittany smiling
”I don’t know, I’m a little nervous I guess. I’m not sure what to do.” said Kaylee nervously
“Here, just follow my lead,” said Brittany bringing Kaylee’s hands up and resting them on her hips. Brittany looked up at Kaylee without moving her head, “Trust me okay?”
“I trust you Britt,” whispered Kaylee
Brittany guided Kaylee’s hand, pulling down her shorts. While Kaylee was leaning over to drop Brittany’s shorts on the floor, Brittany reached over and had her hands on the bottom of Kaylee’s tank-top, pulling it upwards.
“Raise your arms,” Brittany demanded
Kaylee obeyed and raised her arms and watched as her tank-top was lifted over her head leaving her feeling bare in just a bra. Brittany was surprised when she saw Kaylee getting up off the bed and pulling off her own shorts and panties.
“I’m ready Britt. I really want this,” said Kaylee kneeled on the bed in front of Brittany and reaching down grabbing Britt’s hands and placing them on her sides.
They situated themselves so that Kaylee was lying was on her bed, and Brittany was hovering over her. Slowly, Brittany leaned in and kissed Kaylee, slowly moved downward, nibbling here and there. Then, when she reached Kaylee’s hotspot, she spread Kaylee’s legs even wider, and stared at the glorious wet spot that was Kaylee’s relief. They soon fell asleep in each others arms and slept like that all night long!
