the book of seven

i was dreaming i knew that but i didn\'t want to wake up it was a dream that embodied my deepest desires i was walking through a massive Forrest i could hear the plants listen to the whisper of the earth it was so serine peacefull i walked for what seemed like an eternity till i entered a glade with a tree stump in the very center. i walked to the tree stump and climbed on i sat there and began my meditative exercises. i was emersed in the sence of the earth the plants but something felt like it was missing there tinged of the edge of my contiousness something was flittering serching i tried to focus in on it. but the moment i did it stopped moving for a second then was moving at a impossible pace heading right for me i felt it enter the clearing i opened my eyes and there floating in front of me was a green orb i hovered there for just a moment before plunging into my chest knocking me off the stump and infusing me power like i had never known



i sat up in bed and looked around and sighing flopped back down on to my bed i was in my quarters at the mages district i lay there wondering what had interupted my moment of bliss. then i heard it somebody knocking on my door i covered my face with my pillow. maybe if i ignor them they will go away the knocking came again this time more insistant. i reached out with my mind to find out who would be bothering me. recignising the energy it was my father jasper the cheif healer of the mages district a earth mage like my self but where i had just a smidgin of power just enought to give me a instincual knolage of what plants made good medicines and be able to strenthen them to have almost intantaious effects my father was the most powerfull healer in over 200 year. i sighed. might as well get up he wasnt going to go away "yea yea im coming" i got out of bed and grabbed a robe before walking over to answer the door i opened the door and my father stood there "good your awake i was just coming to let you know there has been a meeting of the council call so i wont be back till late and your shift in the hospital begins in 3 hours. i just nodded and he walked away i shut the door and shook my head there defenitly wasnt any love lost between me and my father. he considered my lack of power to be a great dissipointment and i considered him to be a overbering ass.



i didnt give it any more thought as i went and climbed into my shower letting the water wash back over my sholder lenth blond hair i picking up my shampoo i began to wash oh how i loved a good shower and i intended to take my time i was reveling in the feeling of the water on my skin when i felt something tickle my back i spun around curling over the glass door of my shower was a vine from the ivy i kept in..... my living room strange but oh well i peeked over the door and saw the vine trailing in from the living room i shrugged and went back to enjoying my shower ignoring the tickling on my back.



i finished my shower reached out a picked up my towl wrapping it around my body i stepped out of the shower and into a veritable forest of house hold plants. looking around in shock i picked my way through them and to my room drying off i put on my unmentionables walked over to my wardrobe picked out a pair of tight black pants and a long emerald green top. i sat down at the vanity in my room and began brushing my hair once finished i reached over and picked up my cloak and put it on i closed my eyes to full enjoy the feeling of the silk against my arms. but never really got to the moment i closed my eyes i realized i could hear the plants in the rest of my house slowly creeping towards me. my eyes shot open i walked in to my jungle of a living room and closed my eyes again yep i could hear them and the earth and stone around me. i opened my eyes again. getting excited i pumped my fist in the air exclaiming"cool" only to have said one of said stones shoot from my floor into my ceiling and wouldnt you know it i just had to be one benieth my foot sending me toppling. i stood up swearing.



just then there was a knock at my door feeling out with my mind i frowned there were two people there and i didnt requinise eaither one of them i limped over to my door an opened it standing there were two people in white cloaks with a amulet shaped like a seven pointed star around there knecks but the most interesting thing was that the gem in both amulets was glowing a steady green. they looked at the amulets then at each other. then the one on the left looked at me and said "madam you need to come with us" i opened my mouth to tell them i had to be in the hospital district in 15 minuets before the one on the right said "that was not a request jade ragin would like to see you" i just stood there dum founded they just looked at each other and shook there head.
