Sabotage
The sound of Cylest’s alarm ringing woke both Suberu and Toshi. Suberu slowly stood up and stretched while Toshi yawned and threw a pillow at Cylest’s door. “We better go get ready for class now. I can’t afford to miss anything today.” Toshi nodded as the two went to their separate rooms. After about half an hour, everyone came out of their rooms and grabbed a bite to eat before heading to their classes.
Suberu and Cylest’s classes went by like normal. Cylest was yelled at three times in history and four times in math. Suberu and Cylest had to eat a quick lunch because of an orchestra rehearsal that took up the rest of the day.
Tempest met them at the door to the orchestra room. She didn’t even talk to Cylest but nearly made Suberu deaf with her squealing. “HI SUBERU!!! How are you? Are you having a good day? Are you ready for the concert tonight?” Suberu uncovered his ears and sighed. “I’m good. And yes, I’m having a good day. I’m about as ready as I can be.” The three walked into the orchestra room, chatting part of the way. They walked in and took their seats. They began a long rehearsal while the rest of the school went to the rest of their classes.
After school, Toshi and Ryker went up to their dorm. “Yo, Toshi. We still goin’ to the orchestra concert?” It was a few seconds before Toshi actually answered him. “Yeah. Wanna grab somethin’ to eat on the way down?” Ryker nodded while putting on a My Chemical Romance hoodie. As they passed the cafeteria, Toshi got two slices of pizza. By the time they reached the auditorium, both of them had finished not only their pizza but also downed three cokes. They met Miero at the door and walked in with him. They sat in the center, just far away to avoid being a distraction but close enough to see everyone clearly.
Tempest left the rest of the class to further warm up her voice. Around five minutes later, Ms. Sasha gathered up all of the students and led them to the auditorium. As the students sat down, Ms. Sasha spoke to the rest of the school and the parents. “Welcome everyone! Today orchestra will be performing two songs. Our first song is called the Devil’s Trill. The star of the song will be a new, but very talented freshman, Mr. Suberu Valentine! And Ms. Tempest Riesho will sing to our second song, Amethyst Remembrance! Now that everyone is set, let us begin with the Devil’s Trill.” Ms. Sasha turned around and began conducting the first song.
Ryker and Toshi spent most of the song staring at Suberu. Of the three, Miero was the only one truly listening to the music. The song was around five or so minutes long making listening to the whole thing semi-hard. As it finally finished, people began to stand and clap. The trio stood and clapped as well, grinning like monkeys. Suberu stood and bowed, trying his hardest to hide his blushing face. Ms. Sasha silenced the crowd then continued to start up the second song. Another five minutes passed before the orchestra was finished. Tempest bowed and walked off stage while Ms. Sasha again turned to the crows to thank them before she released the orchestra to return to the room and pack up.
As Suberu and Cylest put away their violins, Tempest walked up and promptly sat next to the blonde. “You were amazing. Everyone loved you, Suberu! “ Suberu looked up and sighed. “Yeah…thanks Tempest.” Tempest smiled and waved at Mimi, who came over to talk to Cylest. “You can call me Temmy if you want to Suru.” She winked at him and got a look of disgust in return. “I’d much rather not. And don’t call me Suru…” “But, but, but! Toshi calls you that all the time!” “That’s because he’s my boy---“ Suberu was cut off by a very random and even more unwanted kiss from Tempest. At that very moment, Toshi, Ryker, and Miero walked in. Toshi froze, his eyes went wide inn pure shock and hurt. “…Suberu…” He whispered softly before running off with Ryker chasing after him. Suberu pushed Tempest away and quickly got up. “Miero…come with me, please.” Miero nodded and followed Suberu to his dorm room. “They’re not here…” Suberu sighed and started to go over to the couch. Miero grabbed him and pinned him to the wall. “What the fuck was that?! How the hell could you do that to him?! I never would have guessed you were such a ---“ Miero paused and looked down at the freshman he had been yelling at. Suberu was in tears, his body shaking with sobs. “Sorry…I shouldn’t have yelled at you before hearing you out…” Miero let go of Suberu, who simply walked over to the couch and sat down. Miero followed and sat down next to him and gave the blonde a soothing hug before calmly questioning him. “Okay. Now what exactly happened?” Suberu sniffed and rubbed his eyes before answering. “Well…I came back to put away my violin like normal. Tempest just started talking to me. Then…she kissed me with no warning at all.” “I see. Well do you like her at all?” Suberu shook his head ‘no’ then sighed again. “So…I was wrong about you…”
