Beasts
Beasts
I hear the howling in the distance.
The growling, snarling, hungry calls.
Their bodies slithering along the streets.
I am the last in this dead, blood soaked town.
The sounds are closer, coming for me.
Their putrid flesh invades my senses.
I run, but it’s no use.
The pain is horrible as my flesh is torn away.
Their feast has begun as my life ends.
