Stand There and Look Pretty (side story)

K I know I said I'd update last Friday but I just finished it today so here you go. i hope you enjoy it because there is a bit of a twist and so it will change a bit after this chapter. Anyhow with out any further ado here you go. Also I'm only posting this first so the real story will show as the most recent.

Chapter 5:
The Park

“Alright get ready then, we’ll meet you downstairs in like five minutes.” Walter tells Shya and Tai then Shy grabs Tai’s wrist and leads her to her room. I grin amused at watching Tai get dragged off but Walter doesn’t seem to pay attention to it. He opens the door to his room and I follow him in. Once we are inside though he surprises me. “They’re bound to be a weird couple aren’t they?” He asks as he puts on a jacket and starts to find shoes.

I find it shocking how casual he says it even though he hasn’t even mentioned Shya and Tai hitting on each other at all. “Tai’vera and Shya?” I ask him just to make sure we are talking about the same people here. He looks at me as if to say who else would he be talking about then he just nods. I grab my shoes and start to put them on. “I didn’t even think you had noticed, but yeah they’re a weird pairing.” I tell him and he just grins. He sits on his bed and starts putting on his shoes so I sit next to him.

“You don’t think much of me. I know my own sister.” He protests and I scoff at that slightly. I pull him into me and kiss him deeply.


“Of course I have high opinions of you.” I tell him easily knowing he doesn’t really think I don’t. He moves onto my lap his legs straddling mine.

“Why didn’t you stop when Shya walked in earlier?” He asks me his eyes looking almost dangerous. I stare right back at him meeting his gaze.

“Her walking in didn’t make you any less hard, and I wasn’t going to stop before you came. That wouldn’t be very nice of me.” I answer him softly knowing all of my reasoning is a bit messed up but I don’t really care. He just rolls his eyes at me but he doesn’t look angry any more. I slap his butt lightly, “Would you have preferred that I left you unsatisfied?” I ask him knowing my voice is sounding lustful again. He smiles slightly but doesn’t really look me in the eyes. Then he does look up at me.

“No, you’re right. That would have been messed up.” He answers his voice seeming unsure and it makes me smile at what he is saying and how I didn’t used to be able to get him to talk about anything near this. I kiss him softly, my hands curling into his hair.

“See so I didn’t do anything wrong.” I tell him lightly. “Now come on we’ve probably been up here longer than five minutes. We should go meet the girls if we don’t want them walking in on us again.” I say knowing that he was really embarrassed from Shya walking in but I actually find it funny. He grins and then nods.

Instead of waiting for him to get off of me I pick him up keeping his legs wrapped around my waist then I push his back into the wall and kiss him deeply. It takes him awhile to pull away breathless. “I thought we were meeting the girls now.”

“We are, I just wanted to give you something to think about us continuing later.” I tell him, letting his legs uncurl and his feet touch the ground. He blushes slightly and also glares at me at the same time. I mess up his hair, “You’re so cute.” I say knowing that will annoy him as well.

Still he just opens his door and we walk down to the waiting room. The moment I can see into the waiting room I see the fact that Shya and Tai are dating confirmed. Tai is leaned over slightly on top of Shya and they are kissing. Tai seems to notice us walking in because she tries to pull away but Shya holds her there and I hear Walter giggle slightly. Then Shya pulls back and looks right at me. “Oh hey, when did you two walk in?” She asks casually and I can tell Tai isn’t so cool about it.

“Just in time to see you two kissing.” I say wanting to draw attention to the fact that I know exactly what just happened. “When did that start?” I ask meaning when did they start kissing all together. Shya smiles even more.

“Last night.” She responds.

“So what are two dating now or something?” Walter asks and I grin at him for being so blunt. Tai blushes before she actually answers him.

“Yeah. Now can we please just go eat?” She says quickly changing the subject. I laugh a bit at her rushing slur of speech.

“Yeah, I’m hungry.” Shya agrees and I know that while she has no privacy boundaries herself she still knows other people do.

“Alright come on then, let’s all get in the car.” Walter says and so we follow him out to his car with Shya and me sitting in the back. Walter goes through a McDonald’s drive-thru and I find it a little funny that Shya orders the most even though she is the skinniest. Walter pays for all of it with his credit card. Then he drives to a park near his house that I have been at a few times with him. It’s a rather small park that not a lot of wealthier people visit so usually no one even recognizes him.

We all sit down and eat with there being hardly any conversation between us. But then as Walter finishes eating and seeing as he is the last one he looks to his sister. “You think any of them recognize us?” He asks so I know he is thinking about risking kissing me in public.

“They don’t seem to. Why do you ask?” Tai answers and I know Walter doesn’t need to explain why he asked. He lies back propped up by his elbows. Then he pulls his hood on and pulls me on top of him so I kiss him deeply. I hear Tai and Shya getting up but I don’t bother to stop kissing Walter long enough to look at them. “Wanna go for a walk?” I hear Tai’s voice asking so I smile knowing they are going to leave us alone again.

I pull my lips back from Walter’s and just smile at him for a little while, neither of us saying anything. “Johnny?” He says very softly and I smile then kiss his cheek.
“What?” I ask him noticing that he seems to be a bit nervous.

He grins uneasily, “You think maybe tonight you’ll sleep with me?” He says very softly but still I know exactly what he means. I grin very widely at him for even bringing it up, especially after he found the condoms in my bag yesterday.

“If you want to.” I tell him and personally I think he might be rushing a little but he is the one asking so I don’t see why I shouldn’t trust him to say how quickly this moves. He smiles very widely and then kisses me deeply, his tongue sliding over my teeth and exploring the whole of my mouth. I pull back from him not wanting to do too much while we are in such a public place. “Right now though we shouldn’t go too overboard. Just save it for tonight k.” I tell him then with out waiting for him to answer I move to sit next to him. He sits up taking my hand as he does and just continues to smile at me.

But then Tai comes walking back towards us, her head staring at the ground and Shya is nowhere to be seen. “What happened? Where’s Shya?” I ask her wondering how they could’ve gotten into a fight already. Tai sits down still not looking at Walter or me.

“She got mad at me for asking about her past. Then she started yelling and ran off.” Tai says her voice sounding utterly sad. I clench my eyes shut for a second knowing myself some of the horrors of Shya’s lifestyle and how much she hates to talk about it. I stand up letting go of Walter’s hand.

“I’ll go see if I can find her.” I say then without waiting I go off the direction Tai came from. I hear Walter call after me but I ignore him and run off as well. It takes me a few minutes but then I see Shya sitting under a tree right by the water’s edge smoking a cig. I walk to her now that I found her and she glares at me the moment she sees me.

“Shya, you okay?” I ask her wanting for her to make up with Tai because I know it would be good for her.

“Why do you care if I’m okay? You didn’t seem to give a shit when you were bragging to your friends about you slept with a prostitute. Until you noticed it was me a few days later but that still didn’t make you apologize. You don’t get to ask me if I’m ok when you’re part of the problem. It took you a year to talk to me again just to convince me to quit drugs and hooking. I wish you would have just left me alone at least then I would have been too drugged up to care. I wouldn’t have been raped by Ryan because I stopped whoring. You know what go away I hate you.” She says picking up a rock in the hand that her smoke isn’t in and throwing it at me, missing badly. Still I stay away from her but without actually leaving.

“Shya calm down you can get past all of this you don’t have it that bad now. You can move in with me if you want. I know you need somewhere to stay and anywhere is better then with Ryan.”

“Ever thought maybe I to be around Ryan? He’s nice to me; he feeds me and gives me somewhere to sleep at night. He’s much better then my own dad. Go away I don’t need you.” She says again throwing rocks at me and this time one actually hits me. It’s a decent size rock and it hits my left eye no doubt giving me a black eye.

“Fine, but you know where I live. So feel free to come see me ok.” I tell her before walking away back to where Walter and Tai are. When I get back apparently neither of them notice my new bruise that or it isn’t visible yet. From how much it hurt I know it will bruise.

“Did you find her?” Tai asks me as she know sits in Walter’s lap.

“No.” I say finding that easier.
