Tonight
Tonight I will gaze into your eyes and wish for something I will never have
Smelling your sweet perfume, hearing your voice drives me deeper into your web
Tangled in the silk threads I struggle to realize loving you is hopeless
Your heart belongs to another and never me, never me
Here I am...in the dark...wishing just to feel you, just to hear you
With tears I hang my head and weep for you are always in me
What should I do because I can't forget about you
Your laughter brightens up my day
Your smile is my shine
Still I know...you may never feel for me at all
And that is the most difficult thing for me to cope with
I can be whoever you want me to be
I can be your stars, your sky, and even your air
Because you are these things to me
I can't ignore
The gentleness of your forgiveness
For in me I see
A thoudand mysteries
But only for you to solve
I want to have it all
I want to have you.
