Chapter 5
Right folks....
I haven't updated in quite a while, I know.
Probably because I'm stuck at some trivial part I really want to put in.
Since it was meant to be in the fifth chapter, you now only get the first four pages.
Just because I'm in the mood for it.
You'll get the rest later.
And I'm sorry for having you wait....
Chapter 5
'Do you think I know better than you?'
'You should. You're the gay one here.'
'So are you.'
'Yeah, but with me people don't notice. You practically scream gay.'
'Pardon me? It's not like they can actually tell....'
Saturday afternoon had come rather quickly and found Rory seated on the bedroom floor in front of his wardrobe, the two teenagers arguing about what to wear.
'Oh, they can', Ry began with a dirty little smirk. 'It's the way you move. That girlish swing of your hips.'
'I am not a girl', Ro shouted, face aflame. He had no idea how they had ended up talking about this.
Like this.
'Luckily. It's our sexy masculine chest that drives guys crazy. Without it we wouldn't get any.'
'Do I need to remind you that I don't want any', Ro huffed, throwing away the tight red shirt Ry had held up in front of their chest.
'Oh, don't tell me you're not horny sometimes. I can tell, you know.'
'Sure you can. Usually I'm horny when your wicked mind starts reeling.'
'I send you good images.'
'Don't care. Images are worth shit', Ro continued, but stopped when he realized the second meaning.
'I mean...'
His eyes lifted and fixed Ry's in the mirror across from them. They were glistening, waiting for him to continue.
'What do you mean', Ry pried in a suggestive tone, though it was only subtle for he couldn't afford to scare his brother away.
'I....I', Ro stuttered, swallowing hard. His fingers caught hold of his hair, slowly playing with it, brushing their ear in the process. The soft skin tingled under their fingertips, goosebumps slowly spreading across their forearms.
'I...'
'I think images are nice. So lovely to look at', Ry voiced, his eyes glued onto the mirror, resting on the reflection of their chest, traveling up to their lips, brushing their eyes, traveling back down.
Ro swallowed.
'So lovely to touch', Ry continued, hands roaming over their shared body.
'That's.....that's...', Ro coughed, when their hand drew slow circles across their belly. 'That's not images anymore', he yelled, jumping up and away from the mirror, starring at the floor sheepishly.
'Yeah, right', Ry laughed. 'The black one.'
'Pardon?'
'The black one. Take the black shirt', Ry explained and their gaze fell onto the only black shirt they owned. Ro nodded and picked it up.

“God, are you emo?”, Len asked when Rory reached their meeting point in front of the convention hall.
“Em, no. Why would I?”
'Yeah, how does he get the idea?', Ry hissed.
“Don't now. You look so dark and depressed. With the black stuff and everything”, Len explained, making Ry huff inside, for he did not feel his efforts appreciated.
“The hair especially”, he added and reached across, to push a strand of raven black hair out of Rory's eyes.
'And he's so gay....'
'Be quite and get out', Ro snarled at his brother. 'You promised me to stay back.'
He shot a smile at Len.
“Not emo at all”, he stated and tucked his coat tighter around himself. Just in case. “Probably a bit tired.”
'I am. It's not like I'm making you do something, is it?'
'You're distracting me.'
'Oh. Well, look in the eyes of your darling and you won't even notice me anymore.'
'He's not...'
“Uhm, are you alright, Rory?”, Len asked.
The teen pulled himself out of his inner dialog.
“Sure, I am.”
“Just, if you're too tired, we can just do it another time”, the brown haired suggested, his face blank though there might have been a little pink blush on his cheeks.
'Go for that, Ro, please.'
'Shut up.'
“No, it's alright. I'll just have a coffee later on.”
“Okay.”
Then they were coated in silence, not even Ry ranting on the inside, probably to emphasize the awkward pause in their conversation. Rory shuffled his feet.
“Do you wanna go inside now?”, he finally asked and Len gave a relieved sigh.
“Sounds good.”
They moved towards the entrance, starting to talk about their favorite movies, but not quite getting somewhere, for they were in solemn agreement that there way to many good movies to pick a favourite.
“In general you might say I like asian horror, scandinavian comedy and french romance.”
“Yeah, French romance is still the best”, Ro agreed, smiling sheepishly.
Great-now he was caught liking-
'French romance, what the fuck, Ro. Don't say you ever made me watch a chick flick.'
'It's not chick flicks, it's just romance', Ro replied with annoyance.
'Comes down to the same.'
'No. Only American romance are chick flicks. French.....french is just....beautiful.'
“Yeah it's just a whole different level”, Len went on and it took Ro a second to get his mind back into their conversation. In the end he just gave a silent nod and stepped forward in the queue they were in, facing a girl in a bright dress, waiting for their tickets.
“Welcome to movie world”, she said. “Before you'll get into the convention hall you have to go through a little movie quiz”.
“A quiz?”, asked Len, arching his eyebrows.
“Oh, it's easy”, the girl laughed. “Just name the movie when asked.”
“Alright.”
The boys took their name tags and pushed aside a heavy carpet that shilded the entrance.
Behind it it was dark.
