Part 5: The Gift
Lindsey was a trim and limber girl who had known Ted and Tony for a while. Her room was plastered with pictures of fast things from cars to cheetahs and she was always trying to best her track record. The blond haired girl with the blue eyes was clad in a tight fitting sports bra and biker shorts and she stretched out her legs at the top of the hill. She had a cell phone to her ear that she was closing while Ted was looking down intently at his stop watch.
“Toni imp place speedy?” Ted asked curiously.
“Yup, thanks for playing starter.” She said wit ha smile.
“Knock um dead tiger, you’ve been working hard I’ll bet you shave a full 3 seconds off your time now.”
Lindsey smiled again and wrapped her arms around Ted comfortingly before she bent down and took her starting position.
“Go!” Ted shouted as he jammed on the timer of the stop watch, Lindsey bolted out like a bullet from a gun down the hill. The wind ruffled her shoulder length hair as she faded out of Ted’s sight. After a moment Ted’s vision drifted to the orb around his neck.
“I wonder how speed girl would react to real speed?” he mused idle, the orb beginning to glow.
Lindsey was in the zone now as she bolted toward the bottom of the hill. Her heart was racing as a green glow seem to envelops her, her cloths were growing tight, cutting into her skin, seized by the rush she ignored it as she picked up the pace. Her clothes beginning to rip around her to be left in her wake, her modest a cups blossoming to almost a full c as she was draw up onto her toes, her shoes tore as 4 clawed toes dug into the pavement under her. With a mighty kick she launched herself into the air her clothes exploding behind her like ribbons and spotted fur rushed up to envelope her body. A primal feeling boiled inside Lindsey as her muzzle exploded out and her hair cascaded down to her full length tail, the highway passed under her as she arched over it and her new blue slit eyes caught sight of Toni on the ground. Leaning forward on instinct she braced for impact, her new paw like hands with their 3 fingers and thumb exploded out their claws, the claws on her feet still outstretched, much like the cheetah these claws could not retract. She hit the ground with a force that threw her head out straight and force a long thunderous roar from her lips.
Lindsey panted as she came down from her high, still on her 4 paws, Toni held her close as she collapsed, returned to a very naked human girl, Lindsey continued to purr in her human form, she never felt such a rush. When Lindsey awoke she was in someone’s bed, hovering over her was Jessica in cat form and Toni, she could also smell Ted just behind them.
“Welcome to the club kitten.” Jessica purred.
“Club?”
Toni giggled “Think about having fur.”
Lindsey was confused but did so, the changes swept over her and as she saw her body change she bolted up right. “What, what happened to me?”
“I wanted to give you your dream of speed.”
Lindsey jumped from the bed and stalked toward Ted growling, “You turned me into this.”
Ted backed away and Toni and Jessica held the furious girl, back.
“Calm down.” Jessica said, “Just think about it and your human again.”
Lindsey blinked and looked to Jessica as she turned back to normal. “Wait…what?”
“Well erm…I thought you’d like it.” Ted said.
Calming down Lindsey also returned to human form and the girls released her. Taking a couple minutes Lindsey changed back and forth a few times before setting in cat form and looking to Ted. “This is kinda cool. How did you do it?”
Ted held up the orb, “Was just getting in some practice, though you might enjoy being a cheetah girl.”
Lindsey huffed “You shouldn’t change people if you need practice, and you should ask first.”
Ted lowered his head, “I’m sorry.”
Lindsey snorted, “I need some fresh air, and I’m going out for a jog.”
And with that Lindsey walked out. Toni and Jessica moved over to Ted as Lindsey left.
“Don’t worry.” Jessica said.
“She’ll come around Master Teddy.”
As Lindsey left a hawk circled over head watching her. Atop a near building the boy with the blue orb watched. “Hummm she may not be an ally now but when I make my strike she probably would. I need to even the playing fiend before I strike.”
