Another Dream

Author's Note: "Real" sword play in next chapter, I promise. But first…

Chapter 5:

"I will never tire of this," Oliver said softly the next morning as he watched Eriana awake just beside him only a minute after he had awakened himself.

"Of what?" she asked sleepily.

"Watching you awake in my arms," he answered with a soft smile.

Eriana could only smile at that. She had yet to get used to waking to such a gorgeous sight or to such warm words. "I could never tire of this myself," she finally said as she looked to him.

It was only a matter of minutes more before they emerged and began their day.

But the day crew had a few other ideas as they had been awakened the night before by the captain's and his quarter mistress' moans the night before and once they had made their way into the galley had decided to rid their captain of his distraction.

They each felt his feelings for Eriana had humanized him greatly and as a pirate captain, they saw it as being nothing but trouble for all of them.

"Will, ye's his first mate, he'll listen to ye," Nash told him.

"Just remind him of what pirate lasses truly be," Blake added, "snd what they truly be after." It was true he had liked the idea in the beginning. When it was only a theory, but now that it was real, even Blake wanted it to end.

Myths of pirate lasses had spread as far and wide as those of pirates. Each knew them, but they were rarely true. Especially for Eriana. But still, the worse was often believed of her despite her efforts for them not to be.

'Strumpets without souls,' was the most common phrase. That all they wanted was the wealth and fame without giving anything back to those they took it from. In addition to using sex to get onto the pirate's ship only commandeer them, murder the crew and take all they had acquired.

Eriana simply longed to be back on the water and now with all she felt for the handsome Captain Morrison, soulless was one of the last things she felt.

"Captain, what do ye truly know of this lass?" Will asked when they were together on the deck a matter of hours later while Eriana was at the other end of the enormous ship, fixing a stuck sail. "For all ye know she could be looking to turn ye over, to turn us all over to the commodores."

"She'd do nothing of the kind," he replied.

"Ye can't know that," he told him. "Ye know what be said of pirate lasses. They're strumpets without souls. At least with strumpets ye know what ye's there for, ye pay ye's fee and ye go on. The lass will ruin ye. I can only hope ye see it before she succeeds."

"Where is this coming from?" he asked his first mate. "You've said nothing before now."

"Ye's not as quiet as ye might think, Captain," he answered. "Neither is ye's lass."

With that Oliver watched Will step away. He knew Will wasn't lying about what was said of pirate lasses, but he knew Eriana was different. Not because he wanted her to be, but he knew it wasn't possible for her to look to him the way she did if she were using him.

"Will!" he called moments later.

When the tall, muscular blonde haired man returned, Oliver handed the wheel off to him and made his way over to his quarter mistress, deciding it would be best for them currently to be seen together less.

The petite brunette was climbing back down from the mast as Ruby's captain neared her, unaware he was even there. But almost as soon as her boots met the deck, she slipped.

Both out of care and reflex, Oliver easily caught her, having to fight the urge to kiss her as he looked to her in his arms again.

"Sorry," she said with a slightly embarrassed smile. "I suppose I've yet to get my sea legs back," she added as she stood back up.

"That's alright," he told her. "But I came here to tell you something. The men, the day crew at least, heard us last night."

"I assume they're not pleased," she stated.

"Will's gone so far as to remind me of certain claims."

Eriana nodded sadly as she knew exactly what the claims were. "I understand," she told him. "Still, I'm thankful for this experience and for all you've done for me -"

"You're speaking as though this is ending," he interrupted, again pained by the thought of her walking away from him.

"Isn't it?" she asked, pained at the thought of having to walk away from him. "Your men -"

"Have no say over whom I choose to have on my crew. Or in my life," he finished. When he saw her smile softly, he added, "I only feel we should spend a little less time together in their presence. At least for today."

Knowing it would be best, Eriana agreed. But still neither could resist a quick kiss, knowing it would have to last them for the rest of the day.

They didn't truly see each other again for the remainder of the day until he decided it was time for them to rest for the night. Once again Oliver handed the wheel off to one of his crewmen and headed to his cabin.

Eriana was next as she made her way into her own. Part of her wanted to spend the night with him again. To feel him again, but both had decided earlier that with the crewmen being so close today, that it was not a smart idea if they didn't want to make things worse.

Just a few hours later Eriana's dreams were of the erotic variety again. Just as before, each was centered on the handsome Captain Morrison.

But in this dream, she could feel his fevered, silken flesh against hers and feel his strong hands moving over her every nude inch that he could reach. First over her toned thighs and gently narrowed hips, then up to her smooth back and slender shoulders before moving around and lowering to her gently swaying breasts and flat stomach.

She was seeing him so much more clearly than the last time, knowing she had truly seen his incredible nude form and felt so much of this from him just the other night.

Only this time she was above him, impaling herself on his rigid manhood again and again as he held onto her quickly bucking hips, his own slamming upwards to hers, his nearly ready to burst dick entering her completely each time, their dark curls meshing at each meeting.

Her slightly trembling hands were running over his firm chest and she was smiling to herself at each of his pleasurable groans that he didn't even try to fight.

As it was her dream, he didn't have to be quiet. Neither of them did. There was no fear, only excitement, raw lust and pure rapture as their passions threatened to consume them so quickly.

She could hardly make out his words through their moans, but she could feel her body growing nearer to her climax with each verbal spur, just as his was with hers.

Another minute passed and they were both so close. Closer, nearing now with each second as their pace quickened and her muscles were coiling and his sac was tightening and surging with his swollen prick. Their sexes were throbbing continuously with each others' and finally the moment was there.

But before either could truly enjoy it, Eriana was awakened by a low voice calling out. Nothing like he had been in her dream, but it was Oliver calling out nonetheless.

Eriana woke quickly and sprang from her bed, not needing to stop to dress as she had left her clothes on tonight. A fact she would slightly be regretting if she were in her right state of mind as her breeches were nearly soaked through at the crotch with her cream.

But as she was only focused on him, she wasted no time in getting to him to wake him. She didn't even have time to be surprised at the fact he had left his door unbolted as she made her way to his side.

Oliver's dreams had been taking a dark turn for a few hours now. His fears from the previous days had finally begun to settle within his tired mind and now he was being faced with each one.

But none got to him more than when he saw what would have happened to Eriana with Simms had he not gotten there in time which was what he was now seeing and of all the sights he had seen, that was the one that hit him the hardest.

"Oliver," she called as she brought her slender hands to his biceps, wanting to wake him from what she knew could only be a nightmare.

"Away!" he ordered as he awoke abruptly and quickly moved from Eriana's grip.

Eriana jumped in surprise from the sudden movement and stepped back as he began to realize his surroundings. That he was in fact in his chambers with a concerned Eriana gazing back at him. Still on his ship, looking to the fully clothed young woman whom he could tell now was only there to help him.

"I heard you screaming. Are you all right?" she asked him softly.

"Eriana," he breathed as he continued to get his breath back.

"It was only a dream, Oliver," she told him, still keeping her voice soft as she slowly moved to his side once again. "Are you all right?"

Too stunned by the sight before him, of her still alive, unharmed and worried for him, Oliver sat up and threw his long, muscular legs over the side of his bed so his body would be facing hers just before tightly threading his strong arms around the petite brunette's middle.

He was resting his head against the center of her chest as she stood before him, an overwhelming need within him to hear her heart beating. Though racing rather from the startle he had given her, but still he found it comforting.

It was now Eriana's turn to be stunned as she could only think to lace her arms around his broad shoulders and occasionally run her fingers through his thick, shoulder length, chocolate locks as he still clung to her. Though she had to admit to herself, she didn't entirely mind her current circumstances.

Long seconds later as he slowly released his hold on her, she knelt before him and asked, "What happened? Tell me, you're all right now."

"I can't," he told her. "I don't want to frighten you," he added before glancing down to her waist, still remembering having seen one of his men run her through.

"Come then," she said as she slowly stood and motioned for him to lay down once more. "I'll stay here tonight. Simply rest," she added as she walked around to the other side of his bed and laid down beside him. Soon she moved as close as she could be to him, hoping her body's heat could warm his obvious chills.

"I don't think I could sleep again tonight," he told her.

"I didn't say for you to sleep," she said. "Just to rest. I won't leave, that you can trust."

"Trust a pirate lass?" he asked with a partial smile, wanting to make a joke, but his fear and relief stopping him.

"Am I not trusting a pirate?" she asked in reply, a soft smile now upon her lips.

Oliver couldn't bring himself to reply, but managed the strength to put his left arm around his quarter mistress and hold her close.

'Must've been some dream,' Eriana thought to herself as she felt his breaths calming only as long as he knew she was near. "You're safe now," she told him softly as she lightly ran her fingers through his long, dark strands once again, her fingertips occasionally gracing the side of his attractive face, wanting him to know he would be all right.

"I know," he said with a soft smile as he kept his eyes on her for as long as he could before feeling himself begin to drift off to sleep once again.

Eriana dared not sleep herself for fear what Oliver may dream next and wanted to be ready in case she needed to wake him once more.

Though truthfully for her, watching him was not such a bad thing. She no longer even found the view of the water more beautiful than the sight of him beside her.

Hours passed, the winter sun rose and still Eriana remained close to Oliver as he bran to awake once more, this time much more calmly and with a soft smile as he looked to her across from him.

"Sweet dreams?" she asked softly with her own smile.

"For as long as you were here," he answered.

Eriana had never imagined that she could enjoy being by the side of a waking pirate.

But then, she had never imagined a pirate like Oliver.

A/N: As I said, "real" sword play and real action will make up the majority of Chapter 6. In the meantime, how was Chapter 5?
