Fortunately for Lilly, Dirk was nowhere to be seen, he had apparently not even left the barn where he had so rudely taken advantage of her person, for the giant double doors remained wide open; probably attempting to tame the stallion again. The pantry radiated with the warm, fresh smell of flour. The family baked their own bread, the wheat harvested from the neighbour’s plantations and bartered with their own goods over the years. Large loafs were stacked up in one corner, evident of the enormous appetite the many mouths that needed to be fed on the farm. Sacks of potatoes and rye rice flanked the next wall, and above them, on hand-built shelves, rested pots filled with sugar, and leftover stews, bagfuls of fruit, tangerines, apples, sweet nectarines, the pantry was a prodigal paradise for the hungry. Whilst Lilly satisfied the demanding grumble of her tummy, the oak door creaked behind her, and a familiar voice ventured towards her in the darkness. “Miss. Lilly?” the eloquence of the words was striking, and the articulate pitch could only belong to the eldest brother of the family. A candle followed his lanky frame into the parlour, the flickering flame lighting up the natural, crimson streaks in his hair. “Are you hungry?...i can prepare you a small meal if you like?” his green-flecked eyes shining in the soft light, unobtrusive, and eager to please, without ogling her with the vulgar abandon his cousin had.

Lilly had been silently munching away at her delicious cinnamon bun, occasionally uttering a murmur of content as she leaned against one of the stacks of bagged potatoes, licking her fingers occasionally of the sweet glaze which covered the treat. Having thought herself completely alone, Lilly had even begun to hum a little bit, trying to cheer herself in the ominous silence of the Pantry.

So when the sweet voice of Adam had greeted her in the darkness, She jumped, letting out a small scream and hiding behind the stack she had been leaning on, heart thumping in her chest. Realizing that it was merely one of the nicer brothers she had met, Lilly sighed with relief and moved herself out from behind the mound of potatoes.

“Oh, Adam, you nearly scared me to death!” She said, and

looking to the ground, she saw the half eaten sticky bun on the ground, now covered with dirt. She sighed, having wanted to finish it, but seeing the yellow light on Adams sweet, honest face, she thought she might like to have some gentlemanly companionship at the moment. Smiling and nodding, Lilly motioned for him to join her in the Pantry. “Don’t worry, I can fend for myself… but your height is

appreciated.” She said with a small smile, motioning to the bag of apples, hoping he would be so obliged to get one down for her.

Adam entered the chamber quietly, closing the oak door as softly as he could behind his sizeable frame, wincing at the squeal of the metal hinges, which were in bad need of oiling. The house continued to slumber around them, now encased in the homey comfort of the parlour, as if they were young children, stealing a moment or two to play in the early hours of the morning, when they could not be chaperoned by interfering adults. Adam fiddled with the candle nervously, instantly shaking his hand from the scalding burn of the wax oozing down the rod, a hideously obscene metaphor of what had marauded Lilly’s thigh in the barn not more than a half hour ago. But the kindness in Adam’s expression dispelled any inclination to believe that there would be a second pillaging that night of her sacred virginity. The lad approached cautiously, moving elegantly to perch the candle high up on one of the many shelves, allowing the dancing light to impart over as much of the pantry as possible, before plucking two apples in one piano-fingered hand, and bringing them down to the wish of the lady who had inquired it of him. “Your ladyship…” he tried uneasily. He was not habituated to addressing the cream of society, and was visibly trying his best to utilize the wording he had absorbed in literary masterpieces such as Charles Dickens or Thomas Hardy.

Lilly giggled slightly at his word choice, taking the bright green apple from his hand and taking it into her own, much smaller digits, rubbing it slightly with her palm before taking a bite out of it, crunching happily and smiling up to him in an almost childish manner. She leant against the pantry walls beside them once again, and looking up to him, examined his features in the flickering candle

light.

Adam was indeed handsome, but no where near that of Dirk, or his older brother. He was tall, but not taller, strong, but not built like the ox that was Eric. He was simply…Sweet. That was the only word she could think to describe him. Swallowing the sour sweetness of the apple, Lilly piped up to him, speaking in her normal, soft, regal tone.

“You need not address me in such a way

, Adam. I am a guest in your house, so Just Lilly would be fine.” She assured him, fiery eyes looking up to the flickering green of his orbits. She was all too curious about him… in all senses of the word.

Adam nodded readily at the offering of friendly titles unto each other, gnawing on his lower lip apprehensively as he lowered his eyes from her own inquisitive ones. A soft flush surfaced to his cheeks, and with the warm glow of candlelight showering them from above, the glow of his face was even more evident, almost pink in the quixotic colours trembling over the walls. It gave an opaque feeling to the situation, as if they were not in fact in a four-walled room, the shadows creating an atmospheric intangibility with the sense of time and space surrounding them. “Lilly.” He repeated softly, his lips caressing her name as if it was the most treasured possession in the world, those curious eyes lifting to meet her upturned gaze finally, flecks of emerald shimmering like stars in the field of hazel that filled them. He too, took a bite of his apple, a trickle of acid juicing down his chin, causing his hand to jerk up abruptly, deterring his face to the side to wipe the trail off, apologizing under his breath.

Regaining his composure, though with his rouged cheeks all the more evident, he opened conversation tentatively. “Do you…like it here your… I mean Lilly.” He corrected himself, orbs shining as they stroked her own.

Lilly had been caught in the small moment between them, nibbling little sour bites out of her apple, and looking up to him while he joined her in their midnight feast. Though he did not grace the apple with the abilities that Lilly had, and watching the little trickle of apple juice stream down his chin made Lilly suppress a giggle, and her heart fluttering lightly in her chest at the cuteness of

of his motions, hiding away from her with his embarrassment.

She paused, thinking about his question. Yes, she did like it here… It was simple, clinging to the protestant belief of hard work and a modest lifestyle. She nodded to his question then, their eyes joining once again, without the trivial battles she had with Dirk. “Yes, I do… its quite nice here… “She said simply, biting her apple

once again, and crunching on it thoughtfully.

“What about you? I remember you telling me something about your desire to travel… The world is a beautiful place, but I warn you, few hold the innocence that a place like this does.” She told him thoughtfully, a pleasant smile gracing her features. “This is such a wonderful place to raise ones kin… without the hustle and bustle of city life, gives

people… True values.” She prodded this one much like the others, but felt herself not needing to really push things with Adam… he was under her spell from the moment he saw her.

Adam was enchanted by the melodious tinkle of Lilly’s voice, a voice he likened to the harmony of the swift running stream which ran through the brook on the wheatfield plantation next door. How he loved to sit there, whiling the day away, jotting the inspiratory prose which sprung forth from his mind whenever he was at one with nature. It took the youth several seconds to realize the nightingale song had ended, and was awaiting an educated response between delicate snips at her apple.

“I…yes…true values…” he repeated hastily, her words registering only now in his mind as he had been caught up in the siren-like beauty of her voice. “If you…like it so much, you could stay here…for longer than you intended initially?” Adam queried hopefully, swallowing the lump in his throat as he tried not to appear over-enthusiastic about the thought of her remaining on the farm, to little avail. “I could show you around the town, the shops…” he stopped, suddenly aware at how quaint the old stores would be for someone of Lilly’s upbringing. “or…the meadows…the fields” he was patently trying to give her reason to stay longer, before another thought occurred to him. “or…perhaps I could render you visitation …when you return home…?” he volunteered meekly, the apple now forgotten in his hand, twirling it round and round nervously.

Lilly had finished her apple and tossed it into the rubbish bin, which had luckily been illuminated by the faint light of the Lantern, which Adam had brought with him. She turned her eyes back to him, watching, rather than really listening, as the words flowed past his lips.

Those lips.. she was impressed heavily by them. Even the ever handsome Dirk did not posess the soft, smooth pedals which

Adam had. She didnt even think her own were quite so alluring. Blushing a bit to herself, glad for the low light, Lilly nodded finally to his words, having to work a bit to remember what it was exactly that he said. Luckily though, it came to her.

"Oh, yes. Of course... I would love to stay here a little longer... but, my studies call to me after the summer break, and havent a thing to wear

suitable for the south of France..." She stopped herself, covering her mouth and clearing her throat embarassedly. He surely didnt care about her wardrobe. IF he was like any man, he only cared about getting her out of it.

"But.. IF you were to come visit me.. im sure i could show you a world that you never dreamed existed" She spoke with a touch of lust, though barely even realizing it, as it

came so naturally in the lull of her voice.

Lilly’s invitation did not fall on deaf ears, and had the lighting in the pantry been more prominent, Adam’s skin would have exuded with the same glow as that of a salmon fillet. The confusion on his brow illuminated his struggle to grasp the meaning of her sexual innuendo, as if questioning the interpretation of her remark. Certain that he was reading too profoundly into her words, the youth, wiggled his long fingers through his wiry auburn hair timidly, stuttering out his reply with extreme difficulty. “I…I …yes…that would be…wonderful… I have always wanted to… be shown…unimaginable… worlds… with you… where you’ve been.” He added hastily at the end, his abnormally large tongue stroking the contours of his full lips nervously, peering through the darkness intently at his companion, trying to discern whether she was flirting with him or not. Unlike Dirk, who was tested and habituated to the sexual banter men and women shared in everyday conversation, Adam was untried, and his inexperience showed.

Lilly smiled darkly at the boy, now feeling much better since her stomach was ful, and still a little humiliated by what dirk had done to her, she wished for nothing more than to play a little bit with this fledgling.

"So... Adam... " She paused, taking his hand within her own and examinging the suprising softness of it, only rough along the top of his palms, and the rough cuticules around his

short, bitten nails.

"I can read palms you know." She said with an almost juvinille grin, pulling his hand closely to the light, then glancing to the lines which ran over it. She pointed to the longest line on his hand, which ran across the joint of his thumb. "This is your lifeline....Its suprisingly long, and crosses over the prosperity line rather early in life.... maybe you might inherit

something?" She smiled up to him with a golden shine in her Hazel eyes. She continued o look up to him, not releasing his hand, and letting te tension between them grow like the stalks of barely outside, shuddering in the light winds.

Lilly’s audacity stunned the tall, elegantly built lad into a bewildered silence. He had always lacked the boldness and impudence of his cousin Dirk, and indeed that of his closer siblings, so to attain any form of contact with a member of the opposite sex was astonishing to him, despite his good looks. His heart thundered against the interior of his ribcage, resonating like a series of cannonshots from the starboard flank of a Master-of-the-line warship. Feeling weak at the knees, Adam suddenly wished a stool of some kind had been lurking in the darkness around them, his nerves unaccustomed to the sort of situation his cousin always found himself in. A fluttering surge of triumph swelled in his chest at the thought; Dirk, Eric, even the twins had always received far more attention from the women than himself, even though the first, certainly, never treated the ladies with any form of respect or dignity. His grunts of physical endeavour had carried to his keen ears whilst sketching in the golden wheatfields, their numerous cries hammered their profanity into his pure thoughts whilst updating his knowledge in literature during the rainy days from his room, even when he stole away to the barn for a few precious hours, he had often been interrupted and ejected from his prose by his cousin, storming into the barn half-clothed with another of his common whores. This lady… women as wonderful and striking and honest and unwhorish as Lilly would never be conquered by such an animal as Dirk. Adam’s heart stopped. Staring into those lovely hazel eyes, soft, and hypnotic as those of a red doe, innocent, sweet, beautiful, he willingly lost himself in her web, ensnaring himself voluntarily, as he told her in a soft tone in response to her last phrase. “Nothing I could inherit in this wilderness, could compare with what could await me in the myriad of worlds offered.” He breathed poetically, referring to her flirtatious remark.

Lilly had felt a small, egotistical boost around Adam, he was wonderfully handsome, the girls back home would have been terribly jealous had she ever brought someone like him home... He was like, a loyal puppy, always wagging his tail and estatically happy at his masters return. However, this situation was far more pleasing than merely a loyal pet. He would be an extremely giving husband, given

the chance, she was sure of it.

Lilly had a desperate urge to kiss his pure, wonderous lips in that moment, her heart merely swelled at the thought of Adam, comming home to her with all the love and happy desperation to see her. Her mind did waver however, into the realms of lust as they spoke in low voices to one another. He was so clearly a virgin that it made her feel much less awkward than

than she had been with Dirk, and even with Eric. She paused then, looking away from his breathy comment, making it look as if she were merely blushing at his words. But truly, she wondered about Eric, still. He was so quiet and intriquing, Yet at the same time, aggravatingly ignorant to her presence most of the time.

She decided to linger in this moment with Adam, which he seemed all to happy

to share with her.

"Adam.... Kiss me." She said simply, standing before him with more innocent desperation than she had ever thought she posessed... She merely wanted to know what it felt like to be kissed by a man who wanted to poesess her, Body, and Soul

Under the amorous flickering of the candlelight, Adam could have sworn that Lilly radiated the quintessence of an angel, sent down from the heavens above to grace him with her immortality. When he returned to his room after their encounter, he made a mental note to pinch himself to make certain that the occurrence had not simply been one of his typically vivid dreams. Those pools of swimming hazel drew him in further, as if magnetizing the very soul from the depths of his heart; he had never managed to feel such affinity with a lady before… all the girls in these parts had never been able to satisfy his romantic illusions of true love. Well…there had been one… but Dirk had put a swift, and vicious halt on that particular affair. As if possessed by a guiding spirit, Adam obeyed, albeit slowly, his large hands pawing awkwardly around her waist until they cupped the slender curve of her lower back, and inviting her lovely body nearer to his. She wore nothing underneath her nightgown, and he let loose a small gasp of surprise at the sudden rush of warmth that greeted his fingers and stomach as she leant into him. The embrace was so dissimilar to the one Dirk had clawed her skillfully into; nervous, uncertain of his ability, but eager to try his best, rather than assuming he was the best. Swallowing to dislodge the lump in his throat, Adam descended upon her, pressing his lips tentatively onto Lilly’s waiting pink petals. Blood pumped through his every vein at breakneck speed, an entire broadside bellowing off into thick clouds of smoke, obscuring his awareness, yet heightening his senses. His lips were full, soft, gentle as they squashed sensitively against her own, obeying her command with all the compliance of a loyal puppy.

Lilly seemed so egar, so tentative as he seemed to work himself around the situation she had put before him. She was curious to just how he would kiss her, heart thumping in her chest like a young school girl again as he pressed himself against the warmth of her body, his own, cut so finely around his toned muscles, he felt much more rippled than he had looked at the dinner table, seeming so much

more like the man that she knew was hiding beneath his clothing. She shivered when his hard muscles pressed against her breasts in his decent, her eyes glancing up to him gently, he was looking deeply into her orbits, his own foiliage flecked eyes seemed eagar, but worrisome in the same moment, and before she could anaylize the situation anymore... the moment had struck, and those soft lips she

had been contempating so much finally pressed against hers, she was shocked by the warmth he exumed, maybe it was her own lack of clothing, but his lips felt like they had brushed with a flame before pressing scorchingly down on her own.

She let out a little meep of pleasure, her arms slowly snaking thier way over his pectoral area, before lacing her slim fingers through the softness of the

the wiry auburn tresses which dappled the nape of his neck. For his inexperince, he was far from inept, so much more passon and desperation in his kiss than anything she had felt before.

The kiss seemed to last for ages, as if she, and her willing captor had been locked in a bubble where time did not exist... and she wanted it to last forever.

The embrace endured timelessly, they could have been interlocked for seconds, it may have been minutes, so lost were the two in the innocence of their grasps. Adam was shocked by the fervour caused by their intimate contact; for all his unbridled affection for this lady, the two of them were relative strangers. They had shared two conversations with one another, the first at the dinner table chaperoned and surrounded by his entire family; the second was now, in the heart of night, a meeting as spontaneous as it had been accidental, and here they were, sharing in intimacies of the mouth that would have been scowled upon in that modern, civilized age. Lilly’s mouth was like the rain to the desert flower of his own, drinking hungrily from her essence, but respecting her unlike his predecessor, effeminately masculine in a becoming way. He was timid, and was seeking to gift her with the best kiss he could muster, for her benefit rather than his own, and his intentions shone clearly through. He could not deny the pounding of his heart, the giddy whirl in his mind… and then he felt sin seep into their tender moment, rising like Lucifer, sword in hand, uncurling and unfurling its full armoury against the soft warmth of her belly. Instantly, he pulled back, their embrace broken, his cheeks flushed, embarrassed and flustered by the awakening of his groinal area, hoping that she had not felt his evil in their pure moment together.

Lilly had been so absorbed into thier affectionate kiss that she did not notice the snaking intrusion of his erection into thier embrace, but once she did, she could not hide the blush from her cheeks, the amazement in her eyes as she looked up to him, completely unsure of what to think. He had... pressed himself so clearly against her. She had only felt a mans mass press against her through thick

folds of her skirts, which seemed almost non existant most of the time, only really feeling the extent which was the python hidden within Dirk's Trousers.

Adam, however, did not embrace his sexuality in the way that his cousin did, and pushed her away lightly, though she had still felt the intensity of it, and through such thin attire...her mind was boggled by the strong, rocklike appendage

which he had brushed her with. Never before had she felt such a thing in such a way. but she kept her composure, dispite the dark tinge of color on both thier cheeks.

Lilly was embarassingly speechless, struggling to find the words to speak to him, but could not even muster up a single utterance, still feeling the tingle of where his mass had pressed against her flat tummy.

Silence reigned in the cocoon of warmth both had lost themselves within, their awkwardness palpable on the earthy, floury air around them. Adam started to apologize, but then realized that would only make the discomfiture worse currently, biting down on his tongue to prevent himself from making an undue mistake. Instead, he sought to alleviate the tension that had surfaced, by avoiding confrontation; he was still young, still naïve and unpracticed in the way of women, and he was incapable of reading into Lilly’s expression as Dirk had so easily. Had he faced more encounters with the opposite sex, perhaps he might have realized that Lilly’s reaction was not one of revulsion, or horror at the perversity of his sin, but that she may have even been curious about it, welcomed it. As it was, Adam took her innocently by the hand, forcing a nervous smile onto his flushed cheeks, and leading her towards the doorway, taking the candle with him. “Let me…escort you to your room Lilly… the twilight is upon us, and you will require your beauty sleep to retain the magnificence that you emanate so freely.” He complimented, leading her from the pantry, and into the dimmed corridor.

She was glad that he had been smart enough not to try and apologize, and she smiled up to him when he took her hand and complimented her so freely. Her little digits wove into his, loving the strong, calloused warmth which they emanated, and let her other hand clasp over the top of the gentle holding he gifted her with. She walked behind him as eager as a child would to a candy shop owner, and smiled softly to herself. He was so unlike his brothers... and she truly liked that about him, liked that he was nervous and unexperienced, enjoyed the worry in his soft eyes and th gentle, undomineering way he kissed her.

Still however, she wondered how his eldest brother may have kissed her... or even if he would be so willing to be affectionate with her on her short visit... all she knew was that she had to find out what that last eligible patron of the farm had to offer her... after these two deliciously enticing escapades, she could only imagine what was in store for her tomorrow, and eagerly anticipated the morn.

Adam lead the small, city girl from the pantry in which they had shared their romantic escapade, up the creaking stairway, archaic stairwell, and back across the pitch black corridor to her room. Guided only by the flickering heat of the candle, he took his time in conducting Lilly back to her quarters, such happiness billowing in his heart, he sought to prolong their limited time together.

Eventually though, he was forced to bid her farewell, choosing his words carefully, to make the departure as sweet and as indicative of his interest in her as possible. Her pale skin was almost ghostly in the poor lumination the candlelight offered, and caused fresh colour to flood through his jugular into his cheeks at the memory of her soft, yielding flesh beneath her flimsy nightgown. “Goodnight, dryad of midnight’s endless ocean.” He breathed quietly, hovering in her doorway, but making no attempt to breach the security of her room, respecting her privacy. The jewels of his heritage shimmered like emeralds in his eyes, smiling awkwardly, his emotion worn on his sleeve, evident for her to see. He awaited for the girl to close the door, staring at the silence that greeted him,

not quite certain whether this was, as he had feared at the very start of the night, merely a figment of his imagination, and that he would wake in the early morning, to discover it had been naught but a dream. Banishing the negative thoughts from his gloriously resurgent heart, he made his way proudly back to his room, happy to have conducted himself as a true man.

Lilly giggled gently to herself as he whisped poetic words about her like a comforting shawl, and she clung to the frame of the door, almost unwilling to shut it and send him back to his room. "You are.... Interesting, dear Adam." She said softly, leaning up on th very tips of the toes to kiss him gently on the cheek, before pushing him silently but playfully out of her doorway, blowing him a kiss as she shut it behind her, leaning on the door for a moment before pushing off, and sending herself back into bed, though she almost wished to call him in to join her, she bet he was a wonderful one to coddle and hold in the warmth of the bedsheets all night, discussing everythinng and nothing.

She sighed heavily though contentedly, putting up her hair and laying in bed, pulling the heavy sheets over her body and snuggling down, her mind seemed restless in imagining the things that might happen the next morning, those three wonderful men.... And especially Eric, whom she had yet to tame, would greet her with thier handsome faces... No, it was most definately hard to sleep in this seemingly boring, homey Abode.
