Chapter 4: The Cleansing
Authors: Tsuki/Taiyo
It was a sunny day, one of those scarce sunny days that the Royal Capital of Platinum ever saw, a perfect day for a walk in the Royal Forest Grounds of the Platinum Palace. The sun shone ever so gentle making the platinum covered towers look like stars lost in the clouds that covered them. The birds sang glorifying this unnatural blessing upon the gloomy and sorrowful palace.
“Heisei-Sensei, are we going outside?” The youthful yet calm voice asked in a mix of boredom and annoyance. “Yes, Tsukiyo-kun, today we will visit a very important place.” “Really? Really? How important?! Is it pretty?!” A shrill and playful feminine voiced asked with anticipation and excitement. “It is in the forest Akatsuki, very deep in the forest.” Tsukiyo looked at Akatsuki with stern eyes. “Why are you so excited anyway? It’s not something to get excited about.” Akatsuki looked at him. “Yes it is, we are going farther than normal.” Tsukiyo closed his eyes in annoyance. “Big deal, if we were leaving this dreaded place it would be better; you’re always getting all jumpy about stupid things…that’s so stupid.” Akatsuki started crying at his cold commentary. “Oni-chan Hidoi!!” Heisei hugged her to calm her down. “Tsukiyo you shouldn’t say things like that to her; she did nothing to you.” Tsukiyo looked at his sensei and met his amber colored eyes. “I wish “He” would just die….It’s his entire fault….I hate HIM.” Heisei looked at him as Akatsuki cried.
They walked pass the brick path, leaving the Royal Gardens and the Promenade behind, and going deep in to the forest. After walking and taking brakes the arrived to a great clearing in the midst of the lush forest. Heisei turned around. “We are close to our destination children, let’s rest here.” “I’ll help you set the camping Heisei-Onisama!!” The playful girl ran towards him. The young Tsukiyo looked at them with emotionless eyes and told them with a cold voice. “I am going to walk around the clearing.” Heisei looked at him. “Don’t go too far we wont take too long.” Akatsuki smiled. “Take care, Tsukiyo-Onichan!!” He turned around and left.
The pre-teen walked around the clearing for a while and turned around to return to where his sensei and sister were; but something caught his attention. “Aaaahhhhh….” He quickly turned around. “Who’s…there?” He heard the same moan again. “Hello…?” He looked around but all he could see was grass and the forest. “He must be in the forest….” He told himself as he started walking towards the forest.
“Yatta!!” The child jumped up and down with joy after finishing their camping site. Heisei looked in to the direction where Tsukiyo had left 20 minutes ago and as soon as Akatsuki saw his eyes filled with worry she stopped and looked up to him. “Heisei-Onisama where is Tsukiyo-Onichan?” Heisei looked at her with warmth and smiled. “He must be walking and cooling down.” She looked down. “I am sorry for crying over what he said, I really feel bad about what Father did to him.” Heisei carried her and hugged her. “Don’t worry he doesn’t hate us, he is just going through a very hard time.” She looked at him with happiness. “I know let’s surprise him Heisei-Onisama!!” He laughed softly. “That is a good idea, Aka-chan. Let us go then.” “Yey!!
~
Tsukiyo went further and further in to the woods in a desperate way; he was now hearing the moan more often and louder. “Wait!! Where are you?!!” After a while he was running and hearing it closer and closer. “What is it??? I sense something but….what is it that I feel??”
Finally he arrived in to a dark place where the sun did not shine despite the fact that there were no trees around. He walked towards that dark spot and saw that he had to go down a ravine in order to reach the voice. “I’m coming, just wait!!! I have to climb down!!!” He warned the person he was hearing since 30 minutes ago.
He started making his way down the ravine but due to his Royal Garments he tripped on the garment and fell down the ravine. When he came to he was on top of a small pile of bones, but he just stood up and walked out of it with no trouble; he had hurt him self in his fall. He looked up the top and saw that is was deeper than what he had thought; his fall had been a long one but he did not worry since he started hearing the voice again. “I’m here, where are you??!!” He started walking and saw a cave. “Oh, you’re there…” He started walking in and started seeing more bones and old armor. “What is this smell…? I have smelled this before…” He looked around. “I recognize this smell….this is the smell of blood!!” He started walking back but he heard the voice again and felt a heavy feeling in his chest. “Heisei…”
After walking for a while Heisei saw that Tsukiyo had gone in to the forest and he had walked pretty far away. “That boy, I wonder where he went…” ‘Heisei…” Heisei got shocked and suddenly stopped. “Tsukiyo!!” He took Akatsuki in his arms and started running.
Tsukiyo was compelled to walk further since he kept on hearing the voice. He walked for a couple of minutes and found himself in a dead end. “Where are you??” He looked around and saw a narrow entrance; he went through it.
He passed the narrow passage and found himself in the edge of a precipice but saw that if he walked by the edge he could make it to the other side. He walked with caution and after almost falling down he made it.
After arriving to the other side of the precipice he saw an ancient looking door, he hear the moan again and walked thru it with out a second thought.
He kept on walking until he reached a huge door; he got close to it and started examining it. The door had weird writings that he could not understand. “What are these?? Are they the so called ruins Heisei told us in class?” He started touching them and realized that he had a cut on is hand when he passed his hand on one of the runes and made it sting. “Oww!!” He stepped back as he looked at his hand but his attention was taken by a very loud noise. He looked in front of him and saw the door opening. “Wow, how did it open? Did I do it? Well, who cares maybe that moaning person is inside that place.” He went thru the entrance automatically closing after he went in.
Heisei ran in an inhuman speed. He reached the ravine and jumped down the 30ft ravine landing safely of on his feet he saw a red ribbon on the floor. “Heisei-Onisama, that’s from Onichan’s garments!!!” He just ran inside at that same speed.
After a couple of minutes he reached the dead end and saw the narrow entrance; he knew he had gone in through that entrance but he also knew he could not go with Akatsuki. He placed her on the floor. “Akatsuki, I am going to get your brother so please stay here ok?” She looked at his eyes and just told him. “Promise you’ll find him and come back??” He smiled “I promise.” “Ok then, go, I’ll stay here.” He proceeded inside with out looking back as Akatsuki just sat down.
He saw the precipice and proceeded with caution but fast. After reaching the other side he ran across the passage inside and reached a door. “A door in this cave?? Oh Tsukiyo please be safe!” He opened the door. “AAAAHHHH!!!!” He stopped. “Tsukiyo!!” He ran faster forgetting everything around him, just running towards his student.
He reached another door but this one was different. “This…” He walked towards and touched it. “This door is huge….” He looked up and the door was about 50 feet tall. “How…?” He examined it longer and saw a palm print in fresh blood. “Oh gods…Tsukiyo is wounded…” He tried pushing it and doing everything in his power to open it but he couldn’t. He was tired and felt powerless. “I can’t let him die…I can’t leave him alone….How did you get in Tsu-Kun, how?”
He sat in front to the door and leaned on a rock looking at the door and then at Tsukiyo’s palm and saw something peculiar about it. He stood up and wiped the blood with his cape. “There’s a rune….” He realized the mechanism. “Blood, I need blood…” He looked in his cape and took out a knife and cut his hand placing it on the rune; the door automatically opened.
He went in and saw a hall way of something that looked like a temple; he started walking and as he walked several spirits started appearing of what seemed a hide out; fear was shown in their faces. He saw a door that was shining in purple and ran towards it and opened it; his eyes couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
Tsukiyo went through the big door and started wrapping the wounds he had gotten when he almost fell down the precipice. He reached a hallway and looked around and saw a lot of spirits with purple auras running away from him in fear. He screamed and ran towards a door in the end of the hall way. He opened the door and closed it seeking refuge but then he heard the moaning he had heard before and turned around to see a room filled with spirits in the same aura showing the causes of their death; they were horrible.
He got so scared that he couldn’t even move he just stood there as the spirits went in frenzy; he couldn’t understand why. “Noooooooo!!!!!!” “Get away!!!!!” “Don’t hurt us!!! “Go away!!!! “Help!!!!!” That was all he heard. His tears started trailing down his face. “Why?? I came here because you were in pain... I could hear you from far away…I don’t want to hurt you…I want… to help you.” He walked towards them trying to do so but when he touched one of the spirits he vanished screaming in pain. He stood shocked. All the other spirits got more nervous and started going in to a heated frenzy.
Heisei opened the door and saw them trying to escape as Tsukiyo stood in the middle of the room crying and every spirit that got too close to him would just be obliterated in a purple light; he could not believe what he was seeing and what he was hearing. “I want to help you but…what is this…am I killing all of you?!! Am I hurting you?!!!” “Tsukiyo…” Tsukiyo turned around. “Heisei…why?? I am killing them, right?” Heisei walked towards him and carried him out as he cried. “You are ok, Tsukiyo…I will take you out of this place and everything will be alright.” “I hate this…I hate myself…Heisei I want to die…”
~~~~~~~~
Tsukiyo looked at his hands as Nataki looked at him with concern. He looked up and saw the spirits running away from him and looked at Nataki. “I hate this…I …”
“Tsukiyo…” He looked at Nataki with cold eyes. “I’ll be outside, help them if you want.” said Tsukiyo. He turned around and walked away. Nataki looked at the spirits and saw their face of relief.
Tsukiyo sat down on one of the benches in front of the building. “I can’t believe I remembered that incident… I hate that day.” He looked around and saw all the dead trees on the property. “Something really wrong happened here, but…” He looked to the sky. “…I can’t do anything about them….they run away from me because I kill them…but why?” He felt a warm energy come out of the building and his eyes were distracted with a white light that came out from all the windows of the house. “Nataki…he helped them…I can’t feel them anymore.”
Nataki walked out of the building and walked towards him. “Well, everything is ok now.” He said casually. Tsukiyo stood up. “I can feel its ok.” He stood up and walked towards the house. “Can you explain what happened to you just now?” Nataki asked in a concerned matter but Tsukiyo just kept on walking. “Tsukiyo, are you even listening to me?” Tsukiyo turned his head. “It’s none of your business.” He looked towards the door. “Don’t think because you did what ever it is that you did that everything is ok between us; I can’t forgive you for what you did.” Nataki placed his hand on his forehead in a gesture of exasperation. “Here we go again; I told you I didn’t tell the security guards anything! Why would I?” Tsukiyo started walking. “I don’t know? You tell me?” And finally reached the door and went in the building. Nataki went limp overwhelmed by Tsukiyo’s continuous unjustified accusations. “Good thing we don’t share a room because then I would have to hear him whine about me “ratting” him all day long.” He sat on the bench. “I need to calm down.” He looked to the sky. “What a starry night.”
After a while looking at the night sky he looked at his watch. “Oh my gods look at the time.” He stood up and walked towards the building. “I still have to organize my room and check out my dorm.”
He took his luggage and made his way to the last floor of the building. He checked the number on the key. “Wow, this key is old.” He cleaned it a little and looked at the number on the key chain. “310.” He looked at the doors and finally found the room. “It’s the last room of the hallway, which means it’s going to be the biggest of them all. I am so lucky…” He said in calm tone of voice. He fixed his glasses, opened the door and for some reason it didn’t open. “What? What happened?” He checked again and finally it opened. “It was open all the time. Oh well.” He went inside and found himself in a big living room with old covered furniture; it was very dirty but it had hope. He sighed and blew some steam. “I will fix this place and I will bring it back to life, I guess.” He walked pass the living room leaving his luggage and started exploring the place. “I hope it has a bed…”
He saw a door and opened it finding himself in a dark hallway. “I need to put a light bulb here, its pitch dark.” He kept on walking and saw a door to the right opening it and finally finding the bathroom closing the door behind him. He turned on the light and looked at it. “It’s big; nice.” The bathroom looked plain after all it was white and it was dirty and filled with dust. “I have so much work to do.”
He went outside once again walking through the darkness of the hall way but suddenly to his left a door opened and felt somebody stumble with him and grab him as soon as he was going to fall and as a natural reaction he held tightly to the one he stumbled to shoving his face to the person’s chest.
He suddenly saw light so he looked to the left and saw a room and then looked up. To his surprise he was being held by the reason of his problems during the whole day. “Tsukiyo!?” Tsukiyo looked at Nataki with genuine amazement but again his conscience took over and instinctively he pushed him away gently waking Nataki up and finally making him realize that Tsukiyo was in his room.
Nataki fixed his jacket and saw Tsukiyo with only his tight sleeveless black shirt marking his toned body; Nataki blushed and thanked the gods his dark skin could hide it very well. “What are you doing in my dorm, Tsukiyo?” Tsukiyo rested his right arm on his hip. “Your dorm? This is my dorm. Room 310.” He showed his key to him. He looked at the number and they were the same. “But mine says the same number…oh no.” “Great, I have to share a room with you?” Nataki’s face showed his disappointment and so did Tsukiyo’s.
They stayed silent for a while and Nataki broke the ice. “Ok, we need to talk.” “About what?” Tsukiyo answered with indifference. “We just have to talk. I can’t have you ruining my high school experience with your false accusations. I want to come to my dorm and have my peace of mind in it and be calm in order to study and do my things, ok, so let’s settle this little dispute once and for all Tsukiyo.” Tsukiyo crossed his arms and smiled cockily. “Okay, let’s settle this.” “But in a civilized way Tsukiyo, I don’t want you to destroy this place as well.” He left towards the living room. “Me? I didn’t do it alone if I remember correctly…” He followed Nataki explaining his point. “…I had a lot of help in the destruction of the Cafeteria.” Nataki sat down on the covered sofa. “Well, there you have a point, for the first time in this whole day. That is actually the first truthful thing you say.” He took his glasses of and started cleaning them. Tsukiyo scoffed and pulled a chair from the dining set in the living room and sat down. “The first truthful thing? I don’t think so? I know you had something to do with those security guards finding me and chasing me all over the fricking school for smoking a cig and supposedly cuttin’ class.”
Tsukiyo explained his point of the argument. Nataki put his glasses back on. “I will tell you this, I am sick of being accused of something I, definitely, did not do. When I tell you that I am completely innocent of these accusations of yours I say the truth, get it?” Nataki looked at Tsukiyo’s eyes with utmost sincerity; Tsukiyo looked at his eyes with the hope of finding the truth. Tsukiyo relaxed. “Ok, you’re saying the truth.” Nataki crossed his legs and relaxed as well. “You really believe me?” He asked as reassurance of Tsukiyo’s judgment. “Some how I know that you are a very honest person; you wouldn’t be able to lie even if your life depended on it.” Tsukiyo looked away. “Are you saying that you consider me an honest person?” Nataki leaned over in surprise. “No, I’m just saying that I bet my life that you are a horrible liar, that’s all.” Tsukiyo looked at him with a smirk. “I don’t take that as an insult Tsukiyo if you are trying to insult me.” Nataki rested his arm on the arm of the chair and smiled at Tsukiyo. “I am not trying to insult you Nataki, why would I, after all you and I don’t have anymore problems, right?” Tsukiyo said in a passive tone of voice. “Well that is true. But still there are things that we need to make clear.” Nataki’s tone was stern yet peaceful.
Tsukiyo leaned back raising an eyebrow finishing the sarcastic gesture with a smirk. “Really? Like what?” Nataki pondered. “You have to be calmer and no more false accusations from your part; if you have a problem we consult it but no fighting, no cursing, no mumbling or anything that revolves in violence; I am calm natured person you know I know how to solve problems through dialogue. You should learn that as well.” Tsukiyo stood up and placed the chair in its place. Nataki looked at him casually. “Where are you going I haven’t heard your answer yet?” Tsukiyo turned around looking at Nataki with his monotonous demeanor. “I have one suggestion or better yet a warning.” Nataki stood up like getting prepared for this new challenge that Tsukiyo was about to propose. “And that is?” Tsukiyo walked towards him getting awfully close to Nataki, making him nervous. “Stay out of my life and everything will be just peachy between you and me.” Nataki stepped back, the distance was too close and Nataki was already blushing; he looked away. “What do you mean?” Nataki asked. “What I mean is that since you don’t know a thing about me you shouldn’t be stating that I am a cave man or a savage; I also know how to solve things through dialogue, but since I thought you had done the thing I hate the most, aside from being betrayed, is being ratted then I assumed a violent behavior, but I am a reasonable guy as long as you don’t bother me or get in my life like an obstacle; then I am happy.”
Tsukiyo started making his way to his room; Nataki was still a bit confused from Tsukiyo’s defensive attitude towards his demands. “I didn’t call you a savage and I didn’t mean it in a rude way; you have been rude all day…I just don’t want you to make my life miserable.” Nataki said in a firm yet casual way. Tsukiyo who was in front of the hall way door just spoke. “I can care less about what you want or about what you think of me Nataki. I just answered your little demand by just advising you to stay the hell away from me.” Tsukiyo turned around looking at him with his usual cold stare. “You really don’t know me and besides I didn’t come to this school to make friends; I came here to study.” Nataki got a little ticked off. “I don’t want to be friends with you either, I only want us to be in a nice peaceful environment in order to achieve our goals; I didn’t ask to be in the same room with you and you didn’t wish it either, so the least we could do is actually get along!” Tsukiyo opened the door and left the living room. “Ohh, that man!!” Nataki was left alone in the living room mad at his room mate’s reaction.
Tsukiyo reached his room and closed the door with lock. He proceeded to fix his room the best he could at least to make himself comfortable for the night. “This room is a dump! I can’t believe that son of a bitch gave me a room in this state! It’s disgusting!!” He looked at the old mattress and the old furniture around him. “If I had known this was going to be like this I would have taken my futon, but no, they said that they provide their student with the best commodities available; this is definitely no fucking commodity, this is pathetic!!”
In Nataki’s room the story was more or less the same but to Nataki’s luck his sensei had packed some blankets and his pillow. “Ah, there they are my pillow and blankets; thank the gods for Kasai-Sensei. I am sure going to miss his cooking and his lessons.” He started thinking as he smiled care freely until the silhouette of a woman came to his mind and chills came down his spine. “I hope Kasai-Sensei is alright, why with Nee-san over there he must have a handful by now.” He smiled weakly and composed himself. “I better finish here and take a bath in that awfully dirty bathroom; good thing I have my sandals.”
After Nataki finished doing what he could in his room he made his way to take his much deserved shower. As he came out of his room he found that Tsukiyo was heading towards the same place; the evidence, towel and pajamas. “I am going to take a bath.” Said Nataki. “Well, what a coincidence, so am I.” Stated Tsukiyo. “Well I really want to take a shower.” Nataki argued. “We can do this the hard way or the nice way.” Tsukiyo warned. “Oh and how is that?” Nataki challenged. “You let me take a bath first and all will be ok or we can solve the problem in a violent way.” Nataki was already angry and so was Tsukiyo. “Listen, just…take a bath and do what ever, I am not in the mood for this.” Nataki opened the door to his room and left; Tsukiyo smiled. “I love it; it always works.”
Tsukiyo got in to the bathroom and looked at it with disgust. “Oh my gawd, this bathroom is just so disgusting.” He took his clothes of and proceeded to the shower but as soon as he touched the curtain he left it go as if an electrical shock had gone through him. “Holy…what was that?!!” He looked around and then it hit him. “Blood…It smells like blood.” He looked to the floor and saw among the normal mold stains some stains that looked very unique. “Blood stains…this bathroom needs a very thorough cleansing, this place is charged with negativity.” He felt chills down his spine. “Let me take a quick bath…this is too much.”
After he took his bath he left the bathroom and knocked on Nataki’s door. “It’s all yours.” Nataki opened with a tired face. “Thank you.” Followed by a big yawn. Tsukiyo smiled warmly surprising Nataki. “You fell a sleep? I am sorry I took so long; something very nasty happened in that bathroom, man. I really suggest you do your whole exorcism thing in there too.” He said in a nice tone. “Well, I already released all the trapped souls.” Nataki explained. “That bathroom smells like blood and there is something wrong in there; there was dried blood on the shower but I washed it all off.” Nataki smiled softly. “Thank You.” Tsukiyo started making his way to his room. “Yeah, yeah, good night.” He opened the door. “Good night.” Tsukiyo retired for the day. “He looked so cute…I wonder. I think he was just tired. Maybe he is not so bad after all.” He left and took his much deserved yet delayed shower and went to sleep.
The next morning Nataki woke up in his new dorm; it was his first night in a completely different place; far away from his home. “Oh, I am so tired…” He scratched his eyes completing his waking process with a long stretch that brought him back to bed. “I want to keep on sleeping…” He stood up and made his way to the bathroom, took a quick shower and got dressed with his snow white uniform. “I wonder why I have to wear white anyway…I really would like it if it was a darker color.” He made his way to the living room to get his book bag and leave when he noticed that Tsukiyo wasn’t there. “I wonder if he over slept?” He put his book bag back on the sofa and made his way to Tsukiyo’s room; he knocked the door but there was no answer. “Maybe he already left…” He thought to himself. “I better make sure.” He checked the door knob and it was open. “Really maybe he already left.” But something told him to check.
Nataki opened the door and saw that Tsukiyo was still there in deed, but he was taken by the way he looked sleeping. Nataki moved almost automatically, approaching his bed. He noticed that he was sleeping on multiple pieces of clothes to cover the area where he was sleeping since he apparently had nothing to cover his bed with. His hair was all over the bed looking like waves of beautiful amethyst as it shone with the few rays of sun that came thru the tattered curtains. He looked peaceful and angelical. Nataki was fighting against his will to wake him up; he wanted to keep observing him. He looked down and saw his pajama shirt was opened; Nataki focused his eyes on what he could see of Tsukiyo’s exposed chest. His skin was very fair and his body was as he expected; firm and well toned. He was musing until he was interrupted by the sound of the bed as Tsukiyo moved. “I have to wake him up…” He was red and even though his dark skin usually covered this in this moment it was very noticeable. “I have to calm down!!!” Nataki took his glasses off and place his hands on his face. “Ohhhh…” He was trying to calm down until he successfully made it. He walked towards Tsukiyo’s mirror and, success, he wasn’t red anymore. On the dresser he saw a picture and when he was about to take it and look at it closely he hear a crack on the bed. He turned around and saw Tsukiyo moving too much, Nataki looked at his watch. “If I keep moping around we are never going to get breakfast.” Nataki walked towards Tsukiyo and gulped. “Okay, here goes…” He shook him softly; Tsukiyo just moved. “Tsukiyo…” He called in low tone of voice and shook him again but to no avail.
After 10 minutes shacking him over and over again and calling his name in a soft manner Nataki was already tired of trying; he decided to use a dirty tactic. He got close to him and murmured these words in his ear at a normal tone of voice. “The room is on fire.” Tsukiyo opened his eyes and jumped out of bed frantic. “What!!?? We gotta get out of here!!!” Nataki just laughed as he looked at him go around like crazy. But suddenly Tsukiyo stopped. He started smelling looking for the smell of burnt wood, but there was none. Nataki looked at him with a wide grin on his face as Tsukiyo turned his head slowly with his fist clenched veins popping all over his forehead. “NA-TA-KIIIIIII!!!!”. “We are going to be late.” Nataki told him after he screamed his name. “We won’t be able to have any breakfast if you keep sleeping around.” Tsukiyo calmed down and looked at Nataki with concern. “What time is it?” He looked for his wrist watch but he couldn’t find it. “Where is my…” Tsukiyo put his hand on his fore head in disbelief. “I threw it away in my sleep.” He started looking for it and found it; it was 7:15. “Holy!!!!!” He grabbed his clothes and towel and bolted out of the room; Nataki walked towards the bathroom door and told him. “I will wait for you out front on the bench.” “Suki ni shiro!!” Was Tsukiyo’s reply. “Very well.” He walked out of the room with his book bag and did as he said he would.
It was 7:40 and Tsukiyo came out running and saw Nataki smiling at him. “Why are you waiting for me? You’re gonna be late because of me.” Tsukiyo asked as he buttoned his shirt the best he could while he grabbed his book bag and jacket; Nataki took it from him. “I’ll hold this for you.” Tsukiyo looked at him. “Thanx.” And continued fixing himself up. “We’re not going to make it.” He suddenly stopped; Nataki stopped as well. He finished fixing his shirt and looked at Nataki. “Come here, I have an idea.” Nataki walked over towards him. “We are wasting time, Tsukiyo.” Tsukiyo looked at him. “You want to eat before going to class?” Nataki replied. “Well then just listen to me and be patient.” Nataki scoffed lightly while Tsukiyo walked back to the front of the building; Nataki followed him reluctantly.
Once in front of the building Tsukiyo stood in the middle of the open space between the old benches and the entrance and closed his eyes going in to concentration. Nataki held his jacket and both their book bags looking at him tiredly.
Tsukiyo started gathering a familiar energy around him; to this Nataki opened his eyes. “That’s the same energy he used to fight against me.” Deliberated Nataki amused. Tsukiyo guided the purplish mist like energy in to his hands where it started changing in to a black energy and with a slight movement of his hands he released it making a portal appear in front of the Cafeteria; every body in the other side looked in shocked or amused. Tsukiyo looked at Nataki tired. “After you.” Nataki smiled. “Arigatou.” And went in thru the portal followed by a slow and tired Tsukiyo.
They arrived and had a very quick breakfast which was enough for Nataki but not for the exhausted Tsukiyo. As they walked to their Home Room Nataki talked. “What’s wrong with you, you look sick?” Tsukiyo looked at Nataki like he always seems to do; coldly but with the mix of exhaustion. “I used to much damn energy too early and besides I am not used to doing portals since I usually blink; the bigger the teleportation the bigger the strain.” Nataki stopped and so did Tsukiyo. “Where are you from Tsukiyo? Are you from Silver?” Tsukiyo looked away. “Well…”
In that same moment, as soon as Tsukiyo started talking, a great force sent him flying away and his figure was replaced with that of Brenda, not too soon followed by her two faithful followers; Tsukiyo ended on the last wall of the hall way completely knock out. Nataki looked towards that direction but was soon blocked by Tiffany and Jennifer. “Nataki-Sama!!” Brenda and so did her two followers bowed as if they were addressing her self to royalty; Nataki stepped back trying to get away.
Meanwhile in the end of the corridor Koji and his posse were walking towards their class room and stopped at the sight of many people gathered by the wall. “The hell?” He approached as his posse pushed everyone aside to make his access better. “Well, well aren’t ya the one that fought against Nataki?” Birds could be seen fluttering around his head; Tsukiyo was out cold. “What ever happened to ya?” He looked back to see if he could find the perpetrator and saw Nataki being depraved of his space and patience by the ever so annoying Brenda.
“Nataki-Sama, I really am happy to see you today!! I was thinking about you when you graced me with your magnificence and gracefulness!” Brenda said with the most excited tone; the other girls just nodded. “I really have to go; I have classes to attend.” Nataki tried to escape but Jennifer got in his way. “Wait!! Please, allow me to have the fortune of hearing your voice once more, Nataki-Sama!!” Brenda begged kneeling and so did the other two girls. “I wanted to humbly invite you to the Welcoming Party we are going to throw in two months in honor to the new students and those that have returned from their long voyages; please tell me you’ll go, Nataki-Sama.” Brenda begged. “I wonder if she has any shame…I guess not. To kneel in front of some one like that in front of the whole school you can’t have shame.” Nataki was very embarrassed by this situation. “Hey, hey Nataki; makin’ the girls kneel in front of you? You got some power.” Said Koji in a taunting tone; Nataki just glared at him.
Brenda got up and glared viciously at Koji. “Get out of my sight creep!! This is none of your business.” Brenda attacked Koji verbally; Koji just smirked. “Fine, fine, I’ll go, I’ll leave the shameful adore the ashamed; let’s go guys.” Koji backfired Brenda as the whole school laughed, but one glare from Brenda made them all leave to their class rooms.
Tsukiyo finally came to. “Oh my gawd, what the hell was that?” He looked up and saw Brenda and her posse and a Nataki about to pop. “That bitch, she was the one, even though it was to fast to even remember, but I really know it was her, besides she’s standing where I was standing. I really hate that bitch.” He stood up and walked towards them with fire in his eyes.
Nataki was about to tell them to scram as Brenda kept on talking and praising him with no reason; he was already late to school. He and Tsukiyo tried everything in their power, especially Tsukiyo, to have enough time to eat something and to get to class on time, but now with that bimbo delaying him and sending Tsukiyo flying, knocking him down due to his lack of energy, everything is ruined. “Listen Brenda I really have to go, I am already late.” Nataki said between his teeth trying with all his might to conceal his anger. “But, but, what do you say? Say yes Nataki-Sama, say you will be there in the party; you haven’t answered my question.” Brenda begged, thankfully on her feet. “If you let me talk I might answer but you just keep talking and talking…” “It’s driving me crazy!!!!” Nataki said and thought at the same time. “I am so sorry!!!” She apologized in an amazing display of overacting. “I deserve to be punished!!!” She kept on doing a great job at testing Nataki’s patience.
“You deserve punishment alright, you shameless- sickening-spoiled-fake-revolting-conniving whore!” Nataki looks back and sees a supremely pissed off Tsukiyo. “You are going to pay for this!!!” Tsukiyo screamed as they just gasped in shock for what he just called Brenda. Nataki took advantage of the fact that they were frozen with fear and outrage and took his and Tsukiyo’s things and grabbed Tsukiyo by the shirt and dragged him in to the classroom. “Let me go, Nataki, I am going to make her pay for pushing me!!!” Tsukiyo screamed and then started mumbling something indistinctive.
They finally arrived to the sanctuary of the class room and their teacher greeted them. They walked to their desks. “I’ll kill those girls! I can’t believe they actually did that!” Tsukiyo complained while he rubbed his head. “Calm down Tsukiyo.” Nataki told Tsukiyo with an apologetic smile; Tsukiyo looked at him and then started looking outside the window.
Brenda came in and made her way towards Nataki and Tsukiyo’s table and with out even caring that they were close to the teacher she attacked Tsukiyo. “You miserable piece of crap, I will have you punished for all the atrocities you told me in the hall way, in front of every one!!!” The teacher and the whole student body in the class room were actually looking at her stupidity display. “No one insults Brenda Simmons and gets away with it!!! Every body knows it!!! Even before you know it you will be out of this school, so know your place!!!!” She screamed with true rage and ignorance. Tsukiyo turned his head slowly as Nataki looked at both of them. “Listen, you arrogant-vicious…. “He was interrupted by her as she set eyes on her fantasy boy. “Nataki-Sama, you never answered me.” She looked at him with new found glory. He sighed. NO!!!!“ He stood up showing his anger; Tsukiyo, knowing up close how Nataki looks when he is infuriated, saw that his fingers were twitching and lightning was running thru them. “After what you’ve done you have tried my patience Brenda; at this very moment I don’t want to talk to you.”
Taiyo- “Ne Tsuki, tell me again, why Brenda?”
Tsuki- “I don’t know….I wanted someone annoying enough to make Nataki’s life a living hell…I guess.”
Nataki-“ Hey!!!” He cried out.
Taiyo-“ Don’t worry Nataki; I’ll protect you.” Hugging him in a protective way.
Tsuki-“What ever…” Rolls his eyes.
Tsukiyo-*smirk*
Taiyo- looks at Tsuki with a glare. “We’ll talk about this later.”
Tsuki-“You won’t change my mind, Taiyo, so save it.” Walks away.
Tsukiyo-“People, just review.” In a sexy pose.
I hope you enjoy this chapter and please, please Review.
Chapter 4: The Cleansing
Authors: Tsuki/Taiyo
It was a sunny day, one of those scarce sunny days that the Royal Capital of Platinum ever saw, a perfect day for a walk in the Royal Forest Grounds of the Platinum Palace. The sun shone ever so gentle making the platinum covered towers look like stars lost in the clouds that covered them. The birds sang glorifying this unnatural blessing upon the gloomy and sorrowful palace.
“Heisei-Sensei, are we going outside?” The youthful yet calm voice asked in a mix of boredom and annoyance. “Yes, Tsukiyo-kun, today we will visit a very important place.” “Really? Really? How important?! Is it pretty?!” A shrill and playful feminine voiced asked with anticipation and excitement. “It is in the forest Akatsuki, very deep in the forest.” Tsukiyo looked at Akatsuki with stern eyes. “Why are you so excited anyway? It’s not something to get excited about.” Akatsuki looked at him. “Yes it is, we are going farther than normal.” Tsukiyo closed his eyes in annoyance. “Big deal, if we were leaving this dreaded place it would be better; you’re always getting all jumpy about stupid things…that’s so stupid.” Akatsuki started crying at his cold commentary. “Oni-chan Hidoi!!” Heisei hugged her to calm her down. “Tsukiyo you shouldn’t say things like that to her; she did nothing to you.” Tsukiyo looked at his sensei and met his amber colored eyes. “I wish “He” would just die….It’s his entire fault….I hate HIM.” Heisei looked at him as Akatsuki cried.
They walked pass the brick path, leaving the Royal Gardens and the Promenade behind, and going deep in to the forest. After walking and taking brakes the arrived to a great clearing in the midst of the lush forest. Heisei turned around. “We are close to our destination children, let’s rest here.” “I’ll help you set the camping Heisei-Onisama!!” The playful girl ran towards him. The young Tsukiyo looked at them with emotionless eyes and told them with a cold voice. “I am going to walk around the clearing.” Heisei looked at him. “Don’t go too far we wont take too long.” Akatsuki smiled. “Take care, Tsukiyo-Onichan!!” He turned around and left.
The pre-teen walked around the clearing for a while and turned around to return to where his sensei and sister were; but something caught his attention. “Aaaahhhhh….” He quickly turned around. “Who’s…there?” He heard the same moan again. “Hello…?” He looked around but all he could see was grass and the forest. “He must be in the forest….” He told himself as he started walking towards the forest.
“Yatta!!” The child jumped up and down with joy after finishing their camping site. Heisei looked in to the direction where Tsukiyo had left 20 minutes ago and as soon as Akatsuki saw his eyes filled with worry she stopped and looked up to him. “Heisei-Onisama where is Tsukiyo-Onichan?” Heisei looked at her with warmth and smiled. “He must be walking and cooling down.” She looked down. “I am sorry for crying over what he said, I really feel bad about what Father did to him.” Heisei carried her and hugged her. “Don’t worry he doesn’t hate us, he is just going through a very hard time.” She looked at him with happiness. “I know let’s surprise him Heisei-Onisama!!” He laughed softly. “That is a good idea, Aka-chan. Let us go then.” “Yey!!
~
Tsukiyo went further and further in to the woods in a desperate way; he was now hearing the moan more often and louder. “Wait!! Where are you?!!” After a while he was running and hearing it closer and closer. “What is it??? I sense something but….what is it that I feel??”
Finally he arrived in to a dark place where the sun did not shine despite the fact that there were no trees around. He walked towards that dark spot and saw that he had to go down a ravine in order to reach the voice. “I’m coming, just wait!!! I have to climb down!!!” He warned the person he was hearing since 30 minutes ago.
He started making his way down the ravine but due to his Royal Garments he tripped on the garment and fell down the ravine. When he came to he was on top of a small pile of bones, but he just stood up and walked out of it with no trouble; he had hurt him self in his fall. He looked up the top and saw that is was deeper than what he had thought; his fall had been a long one but he did not worry since he started hearing the voice again. “I’m here, where are you??!!” He started walking and saw a cave. “Oh, you’re there…” He started walking in and started seeing more bones and old armor. “What is this smell…? I have smelled this before…” He looked around. “I recognize this smell….this is the smell of blood!!” He started walking back but he heard the voice again and felt a heavy feeling in his chest. “Heisei…”
After walking for a while Heisei saw that Tsukiyo had gone in to the forest and he had walked pretty far away. “That boy, I wonder where he went…” ‘Heisei…” Heisei got shocked and suddenly stopped. “Tsukiyo!!” He took Akatsuki in his arms and started running.
Tsukiyo was compelled to walk further since he kept on hearing the voice. He walked for a couple of minutes and found himself in a dead end. “Where are you??” He looked around and saw a narrow entrance; he went through it.
He passed the narrow passage and found himself in the edge of a precipice but saw that if he walked by the edge he could make it to the other side. He walked with caution and after almost falling down he made it.
After arriving to the other side of the precipice he saw an ancient looking door, he hear the moan again and walked thru it with out a second thought.
He kept on walking until he reached a huge door; he got close to it and started examining it. The door had weird writings that he could not understand. “What are these?? Are they the so called ruins Heisei told us in class?” He started touching them and realized that he had a cut on is hand when he passed his hand on one of the runes and made it sting. “Oww!!” He stepped back as he looked at his hand but his attention was taken by a very loud noise. He looked in front of him and saw the door opening. “Wow, how did it open? Did I do it? Well, who cares maybe that moaning person is inside that place.” He went thru the entrance automatically closing after he went in.
Heisei ran in an inhuman speed. He reached the ravine and jumped down the 30ft ravine landing safely of on his feet he saw a red ribbon on the floor. “Heisei-Onisama, that’s from Onichan’s garments!!!” He just ran inside at that same speed.
After a couple of minutes he reached the dead end and saw the narrow entrance; he knew he had gone in through that entrance but he also knew he could not go with Akatsuki. He placed her on the floor. “Akatsuki, I am going to get your brother so please stay here ok?” She looked at his eyes and just told him. “Promise you’ll find him and come back??” He smiled “I promise.” “Ok then, go, I’ll stay here.” He proceeded inside with out looking back as Akatsuki just sat down.
He saw the precipice and proceeded with caution but fast. After reaching the other side he ran across the passage inside and reached a door. “A door in this cave?? Oh Tsukiyo please be safe!” He opened the door. “AAAAHHHH!!!!” He stopped. “Tsukiyo!!” He ran faster forgetting everything around him, just running towards his student.
He reached another door but this one was different. “This…” He walked towards and touched it. “This door is huge….” He looked up and the door was about 50 feet tall. “How…?” He examined it longer and saw a palm print in fresh blood. “Oh gods…Tsukiyo is wounded…” He tried pushing it and doing everything in his power to open it but he couldn’t. He was tired and felt powerless. “I can’t let him die…I can’t leave him alone….How did you get in Tsu-Kun, how?”
He sat in front to the door and leaned on a rock looking at the door and then at Tsukiyo’s palm and saw something peculiar about it. He stood up and wiped the blood with his cape. “There’s a rune….” He realized the mechanism. “Blood, I need blood…” He looked in his cape and took out a knife and cut his hand placing it on the rune; the door automatically opened.
He went in and saw a hall way of something that looked like a temple; he started walking and as he walked several spirits started appearing of what seemed a hide out; fear was shown in their faces. He saw a door that was shining in purple and ran towards it and opened it; his eyes couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
Tsukiyo went through the big door and started wrapping the wounds he had gotten when he almost fell down the precipice. He reached a hallway and looked around and saw a lot of spirits with purple auras running away from him in fear. He screamed and ran towards a door in the end of the hall way. He opened the door and closed it seeking refuge but then he heard the moaning he had heard before and turned around to see a room filled with spirits in the same aura showing the causes of their death; they were horrible.
He got so scared that he couldn’t even move he just stood there as the spirits went in frenzy; he couldn’t understand why. “Noooooooo!!!!!!” “Get away!!!!!” “Don’t hurt us!!! “Go away!!!! “Help!!!!!” That was all he heard. His tears started trailing down his face. “Why?? I came here because you were in pain... I could hear you from far away…I don’t want to hurt you…I want… to help you.” He walked towards them trying to do so but when he touched one of the spirits he vanished screaming in pain. He stood shocked. All the other spirits got more nervous and started going in to a heated frenzy.
Heisei opened the door and saw them trying to escape as Tsukiyo stood in the middle of the room crying and every spirit that got too close to him would just be obliterated in a purple light; he could not believe what he was seeing and what he was hearing. “I want to help you but…what is this…am I killing all of you?!! Am I hurting you?!!!” “Tsukiyo…” Tsukiyo turned around. “Heisei…why?? I am killing them, right?” Heisei walked towards him and carried him out as he cried. “You are ok, Tsukiyo…I will take you out of this place and everything will be alright.” “I hate this…I hate myself…Heisei I want to die…”
~~~~~~~~
Tsukiyo looked at his hands as Nataki looked at him with concern. He looked up and saw the spirits running away from him and looked at Nataki. “I hate this…I …”
“Tsukiyo…” He looked at Nataki with cold eyes. “I’ll be outside, help them if you want.” said Tsukiyo. He turned around and walked away. Nataki looked at the spirits and saw their face of relief.
Tsukiyo sat down on one of the benches in front of the building. “I can’t believe I remembered that incident… I hate that day.” He looked around and saw all the dead trees on the property. “Something really wrong happened here, but…” He looked to the sky. “…I can’t do anything about them….they run away from me because I kill them…but why?” He felt a warm energy come out of the building and his eyes were distracted with a white light that came out from all the windows of the house. “Nataki…he helped them…I can’t feel them anymore.”
Nataki walked out of the building and walked towards him. “Well, everything is ok now.” He said casually. Tsukiyo stood up. “I can feel its ok.” He stood up and walked towards the house. “Can you explain what happened to you just now?” Nataki asked in a concerned matter but Tsukiyo just kept on walking. “Tsukiyo, are you even listening to me?” Tsukiyo turned his head. “It’s none of your business.” He looked towards the door. “Don’t think because you did what ever it is that you did that everything is ok between us; I can’t forgive you for what you did.” Nataki placed his hand on his forehead in a gesture of exasperation. “Here we go again; I told you I didn’t tell the security guards anything! Why would I?” Tsukiyo started walking. “I don’t know? You tell me?” And finally reached the door and went in the building. Nataki went limp overwhelmed by Tsukiyo’s continuous unjustified accusations. “Good thing we don’t share a room because then I would have to hear him whine about me “ratting” him all day long.” He sat on the bench. “I need to calm down.” He looked to the sky. “What a starry night.”
After a while looking at the night sky he looked at his watch. “Oh my gods look at the time.” He stood up and walked towards the building. “I still have to organize my room and check out my dorm.”
He took his luggage and made his way to the last floor of the building. He checked the number on the key. “Wow, this key is old.” He cleaned it a little and looked at the number on the key chain. “310.” He looked at the doors and finally found the room. “It’s the last room of the hallway, which means it’s going to be the biggest of them all. I am so lucky…” He said in calm tone of voice. He fixed his glasses, opened the door and for some reason it didn’t open. “What? What happened?” He checked again and finally it opened. “It was open all the time. Oh well.” He went inside and found himself in a big living room with old covered furniture; it was very dirty but it had hope. He sighed and blew some steam. “I will fix this place and I will bring it back to life, I guess.” He walked pass the living room leaving his luggage and started exploring the place. “I hope it has a bed…”
He saw a door and opened it finding himself in a dark hallway. “I need to put a light bulb here, its pitch dark.” He kept on walking and saw a door to the right opening it and finally finding the bathroom closing the door behind him. He turned on the light and looked at it. “It’s big; nice.” The bathroom looked plain after all it was white and it was dirty and filled with dust. “I have so much work to do.”
He went outside once again walking through the darkness of the hall way but suddenly to his left a door opened and felt somebody stumble with him and grab him as soon as he was going to fall and as a natural reaction he held tightly to the one he stumbled to shoving his face to the person’s chest.
He suddenly saw light so he looked to the left and saw a room and then looked up. To his surprise he was being held by the reason of his problems during the whole day. “Tsukiyo!?” Tsukiyo looked at Nataki with genuine amazement but again his conscience took over and instinctively he pushed him away gently waking Nataki up and finally making him realize that Tsukiyo was in his room.
Nataki fixed his jacket and saw Tsukiyo with only his tight sleeveless black shirt marking his toned body; Nataki blushed and thanked the gods his dark skin could hide it very well. “What are you doing in my dorm, Tsukiyo?” Tsukiyo rested his right arm on his hip. “Your dorm? This is my dorm. Room 310.” He showed his key to him. He looked at the number and they were the same. “But mine says the same number…oh no.” “Great, I have to share a room with you?” Nataki’s face showed his disappointment and so did Tsukiyo’s.
They stayed silent for a while and Nataki broke the ice. “Ok, we need to talk.” “About what?” Tsukiyo answered with indifference. “We just have to talk. I can’t have you ruining my high school experience with your false accusations. I want to come to my dorm and have my peace of mind in it and be calm in order to study and do my things, ok, so let’s settle this little dispute once and for all Tsukiyo.” Tsukiyo crossed his arms and smiled cockily. “Okay, let’s settle this.” “But in a civilized way Tsukiyo, I don’t want you to destroy this place as well.” He left towards the living room. “Me? I didn’t do it alone if I remember correctly…” He followed Nataki explaining his point. “…I had a lot of help in the destruction of the Cafeteria.” Nataki sat down on the covered sofa. “Well, there you have a point, for the first time in this whole day. That is actually the first truthful thing you say.” He took his glasses of and started cleaning them. Tsukiyo scoffed and pulled a chair from the dining set in the living room and sat down. “The first truthful thing? I don’t think so? I know you had something to do with those security guards finding me and chasing me all over the fricking school for smoking a cig and supposedly cuttin’ class.”
Tsukiyo explained his point of the argument. Nataki put his glasses back on. “I will tell you this, I am sick of being accused of something I, definitely, did not do. When I tell you that I am completely innocent of these accusations of yours I say the truth, get it?” Nataki looked at Tsukiyo’s eyes with utmost sincerity; Tsukiyo looked at his eyes with the hope of finding the truth. Tsukiyo relaxed. “Ok, you’re saying the truth.” Nataki crossed his legs and relaxed as well. “You really believe me?” He asked as reassurance of Tsukiyo’s judgment. “Some how I know that you are a very honest person; you wouldn’t be able to lie even if your life depended on it.” Tsukiyo looked away. “Are you saying that you consider me an honest person?” Nataki leaned over in surprise. “No, I’m just saying that I bet my life that you are a horrible liar, that’s all.” Tsukiyo looked at him with a smirk. “I don’t take that as an insult Tsukiyo if you are trying to insult me.” Nataki rested his arm on the arm of the chair and smiled at Tsukiyo. “I am not trying to insult you Nataki, why would I, after all you and I don’t have anymore problems, right?” Tsukiyo said in a passive tone of voice. “Well that is true. But still there are things that we need to make clear.” Nataki’s tone was stern yet peaceful.
Tsukiyo leaned back raising an eyebrow finishing the sarcastic gesture with a smirk. “Really? Like what?” Nataki pondered. “You have to be calmer and no more false accusations from your part; if you have a problem we consult it but no fighting, no cursing, no mumbling or anything that revolves in violence; I am calm natured person you know I know how to solve problems through dialogue. You should learn that as well.” Tsukiyo stood up and placed the chair in its place. Nataki looked at him casually. “Where are you going I haven’t heard your answer yet?” Tsukiyo turned around looking at Nataki with his monotonous demeanor. “I have one suggestion or better yet a warning.” Nataki stood up like getting prepared for this new challenge that Tsukiyo was about to propose. “And that is?” Tsukiyo walked towards him getting awfully close to Nataki, making him nervous. “Stay out of my life and everything will be just peachy between you and me.” Nataki stepped back, the distance was too close and Nataki was already blushing; he looked away. “What do you mean?” Nataki asked. “What I mean is that since you don’t know a thing about me you shouldn’t be stating that I am a cave man or a savage; I also know how to solve things through dialogue, but since I thought you had done the thing I hate the most, aside from being betrayed, is being ratted then I assumed a violent behavior, but I am a reasonable guy as long as you don’t bother me or get in my life like an obstacle; then I am happy.”
Tsukiyo started making his way to his room; Nataki was still a bit confused from Tsukiyo’s defensive attitude towards his demands. “I didn’t call you a savage and I didn’t mean it in a rude way; you have been rude all day…I just don’t want you to make my life miserable.” Nataki said in a firm yet casual way. Tsukiyo who was in front of the hall way door just spoke. “I can care less about what you want or about what you think of me Nataki. I just answered your little demand by just advising you to stay the hell away from me.” Tsukiyo turned around looking at him with his usual cold stare. “You really don’t know me and besides I didn’t come to this school to make friends; I came here to study.” Nataki got a little ticked off. “I don’t want to be friends with you either, I only want us to be in a nice peaceful environment in order to achieve our goals; I didn’t ask to be in the same room with you and you didn’t wish it either, so the least we could do is actually get along!” Tsukiyo opened the door and left the living room. “Ohh, that man!!” Nataki was left alone in the living room mad at his room mate’s reaction.
Tsukiyo reached his room and closed the door with lock. He proceeded to fix his room the best he could at least to make himself comfortable for the night. “This room is a dump! I can’t believe that son of a bitch gave me a room in this state! It’s disgusting!!” He looked at the old mattress and the old furniture around him. “If I had known this was going to be like this I would have taken my futon, but no, they said that they provide their student with the best commodities available; this is definitely no fucking commodity, this is pathetic!!”
In Nataki’s room the story was more or less the same but to Nataki’s luck his sensei had packed some blankets and his pillow. “Ah, there they are my pillow and blankets; thank the gods for Kasai-Sensei. I am sure going to miss his cooking and his lessons.” He started thinking as he smiled care freely until the silhouette of a woman came to his mind and chills came down his spine. “I hope Kasai-Sensei is alright, why with Nee-san over there he must have a handful by now.” He smiled weakly and composed himself. “I better finish here and take a bath in that awfully dirty bathroom; good thing I have my sandals.”
After Nataki finished doing what he could in his room he made his way to take his much deserved shower. As he came out of his room he found that Tsukiyo was heading towards the same place; the evidence, towel and pajamas. “I am going to take a bath.” Said Nataki. “Well, what a coincidence, so am I.” Stated Tsukiyo. “Well I really want to take a shower.” Nataki argued. “We can do this the hard way or the nice way.” Tsukiyo warned. “Oh and how is that?” Nataki challenged. “You let me take a bath first and all will be ok or we can solve the problem in a violent way.” Nataki was already angry and so was Tsukiyo. “Listen, just…take a bath and do what ever, I am not in the mood for this.” Nataki opened the door to his room and left; Tsukiyo smiled. “I love it; it always works.”
Tsukiyo got in to the bathroom and looked at it with disgust. “Oh my gawd, this bathroom is just so disgusting.” He took his clothes of and proceeded to the shower but as soon as he touched the curtain he left it go as if an electrical shock had gone through him. “Holy…what was that?!!” He looked around and then it hit him. “Blood…It smells like blood.” He looked to the floor and saw among the normal mold stains some stains that looked very unique. “Blood stains…this bathroom needs a very thorough cleansing, this place is charged with negativity.” He felt chills down his spine. “Let me take a quick bath…this is too much.”
After he took his bath he left the bathroom and knocked on Nataki’s door. “It’s all yours.” Nataki opened with a tired face. “Thank you.” Followed by a big yawn. Tsukiyo smiled warmly surprising Nataki. “You fell a sleep? I am sorry I took so long; something very nasty happened in that bathroom, man. I really suggest you do your whole exorcism thing in there too.” He said in a nice tone. “Well, I already released all the trapped souls.” Nataki explained. “That bathroom smells like blood and there is something wrong in there; there was dried blood on the shower but I washed it all off.” Nataki smiled softly. “Thank You.” Tsukiyo started making his way to his room. “Yeah, yeah, good night.” He opened the door. “Good night.” Tsukiyo retired for the day. “He looked so cute…I wonder. I think he was just tired. Maybe he is not so bad after all.” He left and took his much deserved yet delayed shower and went to sleep.
The next morning Nataki woke up in his new dorm; it was his first night in a completely different place; far away from his home. “Oh, I am so tired…” He scratched his eyes completing his waking process with a long stretch that brought him back to bed. “I want to keep on sleeping…” He stood up and made his way to the bathroom, took a quick shower and got dressed with his snow white uniform. “I wonder why I have to wear white anyway…I really would like it if it was a darker color.” He made his way to the living room to get his book bag and leave when he noticed that Tsukiyo wasn’t there. “I wonder if he over slept?” He put his book bag back on the sofa and made his way to Tsukiyo’s room; he knocked the door but there was no answer. “Maybe he already left…” He thought to himself. “I better make sure.” He checked the door knob and it was open. “Really maybe he already left.” But something told him to check.
Nataki opened the door and saw that Tsukiyo was still there in deed, but he was taken by the way he looked sleeping. Nataki moved almost automatically, approaching his bed. He noticed that he was sleeping on multiple pieces of clothes to cover the area where he was sleeping since he apparently had nothing to cover his bed with. His hair was all over the bed looking like waves of beautiful amethyst as it shone with the few rays of sun that came thru the tattered curtains. He looked peaceful and angelical. Nataki was fighting against his will to wake him up; he wanted to keep observing him. He looked down and saw his pajama shirt was opened; Nataki focused his eyes on what he could see of Tsukiyo’s exposed chest. His skin was very fair and his body was as he expected; firm and well toned. He was musing until he was interrupted by the sound of the bed as Tsukiyo moved. “I have to wake him up…” He was red and even though his dark skin usually covered this in this moment it was very noticeable. “I have to calm down!!!” Nataki took his glasses off and place his hands on his face. “Ohhhh…” He was trying to calm down until he successfully made it. He walked towards Tsukiyo’s mirror and, success, he wasn’t red anymore. On the dresser he saw a picture and when he was about to take it and look at it closely he hear a crack on the bed. He turned around and saw Tsukiyo moving too much, Nataki looked at his watch. “If I keep moping around we are never going to get breakfast.” Nataki walked towards Tsukiyo and gulped. “Okay, here goes…” He shook him softly; Tsukiyo just moved. “Tsukiyo…” He called in low tone of voice and shook him again but to no avail.
After 10 minutes shacking him over and over again and calling his name in a soft manner Nataki was already tired of trying; he decided to use a dirty tactic. He got close to him and murmured these words in his ear at a normal tone of voice. “The room is on fire.” Tsukiyo opened his eyes and jumped out of bed frantic. “What!!?? We gotta get out of here!!!” Nataki just laughed as he looked at him go around like crazy. But suddenly Tsukiyo stopped. He started smelling looking for the smell of burnt wood, but there was none. Nataki looked at him with a wide grin on his face as Tsukiyo turned his head slowly with his fist clenched veins popping all over his forehead. “NA-TA-KIIIIIII!!!!”. “We are going to be late.” Nataki told him after he screamed his name. “We won’t be able to have any breakfast if you keep sleeping around.” Tsukiyo calmed down and looked at Nataki with concern. “What time is it?” He looked for his wrist watch but he couldn’t find it. “Where is my…” Tsukiyo put his hand on his fore head in disbelief. “I threw it away in my sleep.” He started looking for it and found it; it was 7:15. “Holy!!!!!” He grabbed his clothes and towel and bolted out of the room; Nataki walked towards the bathroom door and told him. “I will wait for you out front on the bench.” “Suki ni shiro!!” Was Tsukiyo’s reply. “Very well.” He walked out of the room with his book bag and did as he said he would.
It was 7:40 and Tsukiyo came out running and saw Nataki smiling at him. “Why are you waiting for me? You’re gonna be late because of me.” Tsukiyo asked as he buttoned his shirt the best he could while he grabbed his book bag and jacket; Nataki took it from him. “I’ll hold this for you.” Tsukiyo looked at him. “Thanx.” And continued fixing himself up. “We’re not going to make it.” He suddenly stopped; Nataki stopped as well. He finished fixing his shirt and looked at Nataki. “Come here, I have an idea.” Nataki walked over towards him. “We are wasting time, Tsukiyo.” Tsukiyo looked at him. “You want to eat before going to class?” Nataki replied. “Well then just listen to me and be patient.” Nataki scoffed lightly while Tsukiyo walked back to the front of the building; Nataki followed him reluctantly.
Once in front of the building Tsukiyo stood in the middle of the open space between the old benches and the entrance and closed his eyes going in to concentration. Nataki held his jacket and both their book bags looking at him tiredly.
Tsukiyo started gathering a familiar energy around him; to this Nataki opened his eyes. “That’s the same energy he used to fight against me.” Deliberated Nataki amused. Tsukiyo guided the purplish mist like energy in to his hands where it started changing in to a black energy and with a slight movement of his hands he released it making a portal appear in front of the Cafeteria; every body in the other side looked in shocked or amused. Tsukiyo looked at Nataki tired. “After you.” Nataki smiled. “Arigatou.” And went in thru the portal followed by a slow and tired Tsukiyo.
They arrived and had a very quick breakfast which was enough for Nataki but not for the exhausted Tsukiyo. As they walked to their Home Room Nataki talked. “What’s wrong with you, you look sick?” Tsukiyo looked at Nataki like he always seems to do; coldly but with the mix of exhaustion. “I used to much damn energy too early and besides I am not used to doing portals since I usually blink; the bigger the teleportation the bigger the strain.” Nataki stopped and so did Tsukiyo. “Where are you from Tsukiyo? Are you from Silver?” Tsukiyo looked away. “Well…”
In that same moment, as soon as Tsukiyo started talking, a great force sent him flying away and his figure was replaced with that of Brenda, not too soon followed by her two faithful followers; Tsukiyo ended on the last wall of the hall way completely knock out. Nataki looked towards that direction but was soon blocked by Tiffany and Jennifer. “Nataki-Sama!!” Brenda and so did her two followers bowed as if they were addressing her self to royalty; Nataki stepped back trying to get away.
Meanwhile in the end of the corridor Koji and his posse were walking towards their class room and stopped at the sight of many people gathered by the wall. “The hell?” He approached as his posse pushed everyone aside to make his access better. “Well, well aren’t ya the one that fought against Nataki?” Birds could be seen fluttering around his head; Tsukiyo was out cold. “What ever happened to ya?” He looked back to see if he could find the perpetrator and saw Nataki being depraved of his space and patience by the ever so annoying Brenda.
“Nataki-Sama, I really am happy to see you today!! I was thinking about you when you graced me with your magnificence and gracefulness!” Brenda said with the most excited tone; the other girls just nodded. “I really have to go; I have classes to attend.” Nataki tried to escape but Jennifer got in his way. “Wait!! Please, allow me to have the fortune of hearing your voice once more, Nataki-Sama!!” Brenda begged kneeling and so did the other two girls. “I wanted to humbly invite you to the Welcoming Party we are going to throw in two months in honor to the new students and those that have returned from their long voyages; please tell me you’ll go, Nataki-Sama.” Brenda begged. “I wonder if she has any shame…I guess not. To kneel in front of some one like that in front of the whole school you can’t have shame.” Nataki was very embarrassed by this situation. “Hey, hey Nataki; makin’ the girls kneel in front of you? You got some power.” Said Koji in a taunting tone; Nataki just glared at him.
Brenda got up and glared viciously at Koji. “Get out of my sight creep!! This is none of your business.” Brenda attacked Koji verbally; Koji just smirked. “Fine, fine, I’ll go, I’ll leave the shameful adore the ashamed; let’s go guys.” Koji backfired Brenda as the whole school laughed, but one glare from Brenda made them all leave to their class rooms.
Tsukiyo finally came to. “Oh my gawd, what the hell was that?” He looked up and saw Brenda and her posse and a Nataki about to pop. “That bitch, she was the one, even though it was to fast to even remember, but I really know it was her, besides she’s standing where I was standing. I really hate that bitch.” He stood up and walked towards them with fire in his eyes.
Nataki was about to tell them to scram as Brenda kept on talking and praising him with no reason; he was already late to school. He and Tsukiyo tried everything in their power, especially Tsukiyo, to have enough time to eat something and to get to class on time, but now with that bimbo delaying him and sending Tsukiyo flying, knocking him down due to his lack of energy, everything is ruined. “Listen Brenda I really have to go, I am already late.” Nataki said between his teeth trying with all his might to conceal his anger. “But, but, what do you say? Say yes Nataki-Sama, say you will be there in the party; you haven’t answered my question.” Brenda begged, thankfully on her feet. “If you let me talk I might answer but you just keep talking and talking…” “It’s driving me crazy!!!!” Nataki said and thought at the same time. “I am so sorry!!!” She apologized in an amazing display of overacting. “I deserve to be punished!!!” She kept on doing a great job at testing Nataki’s patience.
“You deserve punishment alright, you shameless- sickening-spoiled-fake-revolting-conniving whore!” Nataki looks back and sees a supremely pissed off Tsukiyo. “You are going to pay for this!!!” Tsukiyo screamed as they just gasped in shock for what he just called Brenda. Nataki took advantage of the fact that they were frozen with fear and outrage and took his and Tsukiyo’s things and grabbed Tsukiyo by the shirt and dragged him in to the classroom. “Let me go, Nataki, I am going to make her pay for pushing me!!!” Tsukiyo screamed and then started mumbling something indistinctive.
They finally arrived to the sanctuary of the class room and their teacher greeted them. They walked to their desks. “I’ll kill those girls! I can’t believe they actually did that!” Tsukiyo complained while he rubbed his head. “Calm down Tsukiyo.” Nataki told Tsukiyo with an apologetic smile; Tsukiyo looked at him and then started looking outside the window.
Brenda came in and made her way towards Nataki and Tsukiyo’s table and with out even caring that they were close to the teacher she attacked Tsukiyo. “You miserable piece of crap, I will have you punished for all the atrocities you told me in the hall way, in front of every one!!!” The teacher and the whole student body in the class room were actually looking at her stupidity display. “No one insults Brenda Simmons and gets away with it!!! Every body knows it!!! Even before you know it you will be out of this school, so know your place!!!!” She screamed with true rage and ignorance. Tsukiyo turned his head slowly as Nataki looked at both of them. “Listen, you arrogant-vicious…. “He was interrupted by her as she set eyes on her fantasy boy. “Nataki-Sama, you never answered me.” She looked at him with new found glory. He sighed. NO!!!!“ He stood up showing his anger; Tsukiyo, knowing up close how Nataki looks when he is infuriated, saw that his fingers were twitching and lightning was running thru them. “After what you’ve done you have tried my patience Brenda; at this very moment I don’t want to talk to you.”
Taiyo- “Ne Tsuki, tell me again, why Brenda?”
Tsuki- “I don’t know….I wanted someone annoying enough to make Nataki’s life a living hell…I guess.”
Nataki-“ Hey!!!” He cried out.
Taiyo-“ Don’t worry Nataki; I’ll protect you.” Hugging him in a protective way.
Tsuki-“What ever…” Rolls his eyes.
Tsukiyo-*smirk*
Taiyo- looks at Tsuki with a glare. “We’ll talk about this later.”
Tsuki-“You won’t change my mind, Taiyo, so save it.” Walks away.
Tsukiyo-“People, just review.” In a sexy pose.
