Roses sesoR

Pedalling slowly down the road, Elita made her way to the forest. Her stomach was tingling, her ears were buzzing, and her heart was thumping with anticipation. Pressing down on the wilted rose in her hand she blushed remembering his touches and stares.

He saw me dancing...he likes the way my skirt makes funny patterns…

Sighing wistfully she dreamily edged her way closer to the boundaries of the forest, quickly hopping off her bicycle and rushing in.

Now, where could he be?

She sat down underneath a tree and waited, and waited. Sitting cross legged she pretended to be
Sidartha on his quest for eternal peace, sitting indian-style she placed her hands on her knees and closed her eyes, letting the warm smell of wild flowers, roses, and decaying trees envelop her.

Wait a moment she thought, her eyes flying open.
Roses.
Evan.

All of a sudden a soft, and strangely cold hand closed around her mouth, and she was face to face with…
Marietta Potts?

Her eyes were still blank and her limbs were tinged a gray shade of blue. Her blonde curls hung limp around her sunken face and her lips were thin. Elita bit her lip, looking down at her arms she saw the sharp, fading criss crossed scars that still gave off the odor of roses. Marietta looked straight through Elita, and opened her mouth, only the voice that came out wasn’t like a girls at all, it wasn’t high pitched and laced with honey acid like Marietta’s, it was warm and smooth like velvet, and very masculine.

Elita giggled, and Marietta’s eyes zoned in on her, and the blankness lifted for a moment, and she looked scared and frightened, she glanced to the right of Elita and swallowed nervously, her eyes suddenly becoming blank and lifeless once more. Elita craned her neck to see if there was anybody there, but it was hard to do as Marietta’s hand still covered her mouth and a fog was starting to come in.

“The dark red rose, danced hauntingly on the dark green water.”

Elita smiled softly, the odor of roses growing more concentrate as she felt the strong presence of another person.

Marietta’s lips still moved, “It was beautiful.”

Elita blushed, and cried out in shock as Marietta ran off into the forest, her shock was doubled when Evan swooped down in front of her and cupped her face, leaning in he breathed, “They both kissed the petals, that lay in the white sand.” He leaned in closer, his nose touching her own, it didn’t cut through as she suspected, stifling a slight giggle she looked into his grey eyes and blushed even more.

His soft, maroon lips brushed against her own, “It was beautiful to behold.”

Keeping her eyes wide open she parted her lips in surprise as he descended upon her own forcefully, she sighed and reached out to thread her fingers through his hair.

The smell of roses was sickening, but Elita didn’t mind.
She liked roses.
