Several months later.

Regina skipped out the door. She and Devin had been meeting by the side of the school building to just hang out for months. It wasn’t like she was cheating cause they were just friends… it was so good to get away from Jimmy and his dumb friends and their dumb girlfriends, aka her friends, for awhile.

Regina grinned as she spotted Devin leaning against the brick wall. She quietly sneaked up behind him and then yelled “boo!!”

Devin jumped a mile and glared at her furiously. “Shit Regina, what the hell’s wrong with you!?”

Her smile dimmed slightly. She flicked his nose. “What the hell is wrong with YOU?”

He scowled. “Jeez Regina, would you fuck off with the bouncy cheery thing?”

“Excuse me?” why was he being such an asshole?

He laughed derisively. “Man, tell Jimmy to take Viagra, you really need to get laid.”

Her fist crashed into his jaw. His head snapped back but he recovered almost immediately and he smirked at her. “just like a woman… quick to anger, limp in the fist…”

She turned and stalked away, swing demolished.

Regina was afraid her jaw would crack from tension. “Little prick he is just l–”

She turned on her heal and walked back to where he was standing, rubbing his jaw. She grabbed his chin and studied his eyes. Then she slapped him hard.

“You stupid sonofabitch! What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

He raised an eyebrow.

“You dumb fucking idiot, you’re taking steroids?!”
