Chapter Five
Two weeks later…………….
If she could get the bleeding to stop then maybe she would be able to catch the last bus home. Alexis had hidden out most of the day in the girls toilets after the latest beating. Her lip was busted in three places and her nose though not broken was swollen and still bleeding. She could feel her eye swelling too her ribs and chest which had been kicked repeatedly felt like they were still being kicked. What had she done to make these girls ate her so much that they enjoyed doing this too her?
She wouldn’t cry, she had only just stopped. Why did she even continue on coming to college it was clear she wasn’t going t get anywhere if this kept happening? Who could she turn too? Her mother was little use when she was at home she was mainly drunk or had a new ma in here life. These men were not the best influence on her mother. She was easily led astray. God she shouldn’t like she should be the mother.
Finally the bleeding slowed to a gentle drop or two. She could cope with that easier to explain. She had five minutes before the bus would come. It was dark outside now because of the winter months. This also helped hid herself away from passers by. She could simply pull the hood of her old jacket up over her face and clod it in shadow.
Just as she got to the stop the bus arrived. Quickly flashing her pass she hurried tot e back and plugged her earphones in.
Even with the beating she had received she the fact that her mother would defiantly be home tonight she couldn’t wait to get home. Theo would be waiting for her. A smile tried to form on her lips but it hurt so much it soon turned into a grimace. She smiled in her head. How when everything in her physical life was full of so much pain could she be so happy with her online knight as she now called him. For quite a while after sharing her picture she had thought he was simply letting her down gently. He didn’t appear one night and she was sure he had sad he would be there. The next night he hadn’t been then either. At this point Alexis had thought that that was that and it was all over. But hopefully she had signed in again the next night and there he had been. Turned out that he had been away on business and had not been able to find a moment to log on and inform her. He had apologised for about and hour and had promised he would make I up to her.

I’m sorry my angel I tried but my father had me running errands for him for some guests we have had to the house. I had tried to get away but you know what families can be like.

I find myself becoming distracted at work when I should be concentrated on the task in hand I think of your face. It then stays with me for the rest of the day till I can speak to you again. I don’t know how it happened but I have fallen so far in love with you i don’t know what would do with out you.

Sorry you just shocked me. I feel the same. I love you too. I never thought that I would find someone like you who would really care about me. Who would look past my physical flaws and see into my heart and known the kind of person I am.
Alexis couldn’t help the smile crawling across her lips again but the same happened again as the lips protested the stretch of skin. The taste of blood filled her mouth again. Bu here at the back of a bus beaten within an inch of her life covered in bruises he thought of Theo in her head made her happier then she had thought she could be.
