A New Path
A New Path
Lord Vyron dismissed these warnings, deciding they were pretty much useless to him, as they contained nothing he could work with. Yes there would always be those that would want him dead, many of his kind hated him for how he was somewhat closer to human then they ever could be. There were always enemies, new and old. It was only his concern to destroy the stronger ones, the ones that had more of a grasp on him or posed a serious threat.
In a rather large town they rolled in almost at dawn. Lord Vyron led them into a small cozy inn, where the innkeeper recognizing Lord Vyron led them to his last two rooms and bowed backwards out of the rooms. “Very good, the room over there is yours. At dusk we will feast. Good Day.” and with a quick turn he shut his door and locked it. Leaving evilwillow and Akasha in the smaller room with a one large bed. The bed and the window had heavy thick drapes and Akasha pulling one back saw that the window itself had been shuttered closed from the inside.
“The innkeeper is like others in Vyron’s service. He is bound by blood to Vyron and lives a half-life among humans. This is obviously a vampires inn, now isn’t it?” evilwillow smiled to Akasha, lifting up a bottle of bloodwine and drinking straight from the bottle, before offering it to Akasha. Akasha took the bottle and almost drained it completely before remembering evilwillow. Stopping she looked over but evilwillow was already undressed and laying down in the bed. evilwillow gave Akasha a nod to finish the bottle and then closed eye eyes to sleep.
Sleep didn’t come easy to her though, her mind was flooded with the images of the vampires she had slain. She had never killed anything before, and her first kill were those of her own kind. She could still taste the ash of their bodies in her mouth and in her nose. It was like brimstone, an incredible stench and she wondered if she bathed again like they had cleaned her, would she still taste them? The voices ebbed \'time, in time you’ll forget\' with that she drifted asleep.
At dusk, she rose to find beautiful dresses draped over a chair. A note pinned to one read ‘dress quickly and join us, we celebrate with others of our kind at the Twilight Tavern.’ A wave of anxiety rushed over her as an image of Lord Vyron collapsing and shriveling till death and ash over took him. This Tavern, tonight, it will happen. She knew this and grabbed a dress and pulled it on as she raced out the door and out of the Inn. She sped to the Tav fol following the directions given in the note.
Pulling the door open, a thick set, vampire looked her over and then let her pass. He mumbled something about trashy unkempt whores, as she passed him. Had she more time, she would have turned and sliced him. She looked through the tavern, quickly spotting Lord Vyron and evilwillow. They were clinking goblets with three other vampires that she was unfamiliar with. She approached quickly and caught dirty looks from Lord Vyron. Then evilwillow was quickly in her mind and whispering thoughts. Do NOT come over here. You look hideous and this meeting holds our future\' Akasha looked down and saw that her dress was falling off her shoulder, unclasped down the back. Turning aside, she fixed her dress, pulled her hair back into a ribbon and tidied herself as best she could.
These were the other vampires that had been apart of the Tremere and wanted to take over the clan from the elders they had lost faith in. They were deep in discussion with Lord Vyron and drinking heavily to their mutual victory. They had stayed out of the battle because if they had tried to be there, it would of tipped some of the elders of their treachery. And the rest of the clan
needed to see them as the rightful leaders, without the elders’ blood on their hands.
She approached the table cautiously and as her eyes met with these vampires, they stood and lifted their goblets to her. Smiling, she took the deep carved chair next to Lord Vyron and sat with them. “M\' lady, we owe you and your masters, a great debt of gratitude. I am the vampiress Jaguaress, the new leader to the Clan Tremere. This is Moonie, our new High priest and this is Michaela, our new head of information. Michaela was the one who gathered all the pertinent details of last nights event, even insuring that all of our clan elders would be in attendance.”
“Now I wouldn’t want to take all the credit but if you insist” Michaela, a tall lanky vampire, smiled and raised his goblet, in his narrow long fingers, to Jaguaress, a raven hair beauty of style and grace. Yet lurking beneath her eyes there was something sinister, a rage beneath the calm. They all sat and spoke of a ‘new bond’ between them, a loyalty from the Tremere clan to Vyron, evilwillow, and Akasha. Several times they looked over to Akasha and seemed to glow with respect for this very young and talented vampiress.
Akasha mind was screaming, as she was searching through the tavern for who was the hidden enemy. As Lord Vyron’s goblet was filled, she would distract the others with what ever she could think of, even to ask something obvious “Who is that portrait of?” Indicating the infamous Count Dracula. As the others looked away, she would switch his with hers and poor it out into a plant behind them. After pretending to drink, she would set her goblet down and fill it from a fresh bottle obtained from the bar, ever mindful to keep a close watch on her pristine goblet.
“Well that is a pompous, arrogant, oaf! He has so often made himself known to the kine but there are those that revere that sort of flamboyance.” Lord Vyron sneered. One could of thought him jealous, if they didn’t know him so well.
As he finished another goblet, Michaela rose “Let me fill that for you, sire.” He opened another bottle and filled Lord Vyron’s goblet. Somehow though Akasha could sense this was it. Things started to slow, she could almost smell the Holy water contained in the bloodwine, as though the mixture of the two made her nose tingle. She went to knock the goblet over but something unexpected happened. Something peculiar. Jaguaress stood “Let this be our sealing cup” and took the goblet from Lord Vyron\'s hand and drank it.
Akasha mind was spinning. This isn’t what she saw; yet this vampire is falling backwards. There was no time to pause, no time to think. Akasha saw evilwillow\'s fangs were on her throat and she began to drain the blood from Jaguaress, turning and spitting the poisoned blood on the floor. As it hit the floor it burst into flames, little explosions. evilwillow, whose silence had been puzzling, was now draining the blood of Jaguaress; for she had been keenly aware of Akasha’s thoughts and her fixation with the goblets. Akasha joined her in this effort to remove the toxin from their new ally, Jaguaress.
Footsteps left the tavern and Lord Vyron gave pursuit. The betrayers foiled by Jaguaress, were now to be hunted and slain. Lord Vyron’s wrath was treacherous, quelled only by his sense of right. He may bring them back alive, for Jaguaress was the one on the brink of death and it should be her pleasure to exact revenge.
“Move” evilwillow commanded Akasha and with one single stroke of her nails, shredded Jaguaress’ garments off of her. “We must drain every last drop of her tainted blood.\" Akasha realized that it wasn’t good enough to bite and suck from one spot because a vampire’s blood doesn’t pump through the body but saturates it like a sponge. . They had to bite Jaguaress all over, so in the middle of the tavern, they resumed biting and spitting the toxic blood onto the floor. The flames began to cover the floor, so toxic and deadly the combination of vampire blood and holy water, an unnatural explosive. It was becoming dangerous even for the other vampires. They moved back from the three vampiress\'s and the blood fires all around them, and many were leaving the tavern.
Jaguaress milky white skin was nettled with little teeth marks as they bit up her arms, inch by inch. The graying of death started to subside from her limbs but was darkening through her torso. Akasha and evilwillow nearly bumped heads as they bit into her round soft breast, Akasha massages the nipple as she sucked the blood out, and returning to the sensation of her bosom again for it would be a shame to let such perfect breast turn to ash. evilwillow pushed her legs apart and began draining her pussy and thighs. Akasha almost hesitated as she was nearly overcome with lust at the sight. Quickly she regained her self and attacked the graying of her smooth belly. Turning her body over Akasha and evilwillow began on her sweet bottom, and they bit and sucked, what seemed like hours to Akasha, really only took seconds. Jaguaress had been drained, from head to toe, of all blood. There was a slight gasp, as Jaguaress seemed to die, this was what evilwillow had paused for, and with a flick of her fingernail, she held her own bleeding wrist over Jaguaress’s mouth.
“Drink, my sweet. You shall be mine. The darkness in you and your lust for power is only surpassed by my own.” Jaguaress’ body lost all of the gray, returning to the milky white of before, with a touch of something new, something that made her glisten in the moonlight. The little punctures all over her body closed and healed within an instant, leaving her stunningly naked body undaunted. Her eyes bolted open and she gasped “shhhh… You are now mine, my Dark Jag”
Akasha could feel herself being replaced by a new apprentice to her evil mistress. Stepping back she watched as evilwillow took Dark Jag and went to the bar for a cloak to cover her. Lord Vyron had his enemies slain, her task to him was complete, her promise kept. She turned and walked from the tavern, into the night. It was now time for Akasha to find her own path.
Lord Vyron dismissed these warnings, deciding they were pretty much useless to him, as they contained nothing he could work with. Yes there would always be those that would want him dead, many of his kind hated him for how he was somewhat closer to human then they ever could be. There were always enemies, new and old.
