All right,
finally a new part of Touch. I’m just
on a roll, aren’t I? I should update
and write more but I get torn between projects lol So here’s the next part of
Jace’s little stint. I don’t know who
to focus on for the next one but I’ll think of something.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I’ll continue with Jace for awhile longer,
get past his current feelings, then go to another character.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Tell me who you want to know more about, it’ll
help me a lot. Thanks!

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I awoke with a start, sure that what
had transpired was all a dream. A
wondl drl dream granted but a dream nonetheless. Slowly I looked around, perhaps it wasn’t a dream.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I wasn’t on the street; I was tucked in a
warm bed of crimson and midnight.
Slowly I sat up, my hand traveled to my neck, wondering if the bite was
true as well. There was no mark upon my
soft flesh.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “It felt so real.” I whispered,
“Where am I?” I asked softly, looking at the lavishly decorated room.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “You don’t remember Jace?” A soft
voice asked for my left.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> My head whipped around to see and
the man, Cain, sat on the edge of the bed.
I hadn’t heard him come in, “I-I, well, umm…” I didn’t quite know what
to say.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> He chuckled softly, “You’re safe now
Jace and you’re not going anywhere.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I nodded slowly, “Thank you Cain.” I
whispered.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> He smiled and tipped my chin up so
that our eyes met, “You’re sweet Jace. pan>pan>All you have to do is behave.” With a swift motion he cleared the
distance between us and pressed our lips together lightly before pulling away,
“Behave and food will be brought for you in a little while.” His lips were like
ice, his touch was cold, I shuddered.
Slowly he brought his lips to my throat. I froze, remembering the previous night, “Are you afraid?” He
asked, his voice vibrating along my throat.
I nodded slowly, “Hmmm, don’t be little one. You know that it won’t hurt.” Suddenly he sank his teeth in.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I let out a cry of pleasure as he
drank. When he pulled away his tongue
traversed the wound before he kissed me softly. I could taste my own blood on his lips and a low groan escaped
from my own. Gently he stroked my hair,
tenderly moving me into his lap, cradling me against his solid form, petting
me. I sank against him willingly,
content with the feeling of his body against mine. It was soothing, his very presence was calming.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Cain.” I whispered.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Hmm?”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I swallowed hard, “What are you
going to do with me?”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> Softly he kissed my temple, his lips
now warm, “Keep you of course.” He replied with a gentle laugh.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I sighed and closed my eyes, “Keep
me for what?”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> He sighed, “As my source.” I
scowled, “You are my life now and you belong to me. I feed from you and in return you gain shelter, food, clothing,
everything you could ever want or need.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I looked up at him, “Why?”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Because I saw you, I desired you,
and I wanted to save you. I didn’t want
to see you die like the countless others on the street.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> You are different from them; it wasn’t your
lot in life to die like that and now you’re here and you are not going to die,
I won’t let you.” He paused, “You will do as I say in return, that is all you
have to do for my protection.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I sighed and leaned my head against
his chest, “What if, what if I don’t want this?”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “You don’t have a choice Jace.” His
voice was calm and collected, “Now behave, I need to go check on something.” He
said, moving me out of his lap and getting to his feet.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I watched him leave the room before
getting to my feet, a little unsteadily due to feeding him.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Bracing myself against the bed I looked
around briefly, trying to get a feel for my new prison albeit a beautiful one
it was still a cell. Curtains of
midnight were thrown back from the large window. Slowly I walked over to it, trying to get my feet back under
me. I looked out at the night sky then
down. Trying to see how far up I
was. I swallowed hard and took a step
back. I was three-stories up at
least. I didn’t care for heights much,
at least if I wanted to commit suicide I could always jump out the window, of
course that wasn’t a sure fire way to end it.
I could survive the fall and then where would I be?style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Lying at the foot of this mansion with
broken bones, unable to move. Cain
would be sure to find me and I wouldn’t just be a prisoner but a broken one.

an
style='mso-tab-count:1'> “It’s not a good idea to think about
jumping, master would not be pleased if you were harmed.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> I whirled around to face the
man. The first thing I noticed was his
pitch black eyes and the darkness of his skin.
I blinked, “What do you want?” I snapped.

style='mso-tab-count:1'> He looked me over briefly before
speaking calmly, “Food.” He said simply, setting the tray he was carrying on
the end of the bed, “Eat up, master wants you in good health.”

style='mso-tab-count:1'> “Master this, master that, what if I
don’t give a fuck? I don’t care what he
wants, I think I’d rather be back on the streets then locked up here.” I
yelled, my voice betraying my anger, “Leave me alone!” I shouted.

Without a
word he turned and walked out, the door clicking and locking behind him.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Slowly I looked at the food.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> There was quite a bit of it but no
silverware. Slowly I picked up a piece
of bread with strawberry jam on it and took a bite. It tasted so good; any food was good right now.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I hadn’t really eaten in a long time.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I shook my head and put it down.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I wasn’t going to eat what he offered me; I
wasn’t going to make him happy.
Something inside me had snapped.
I didn’t want to be kept in this prison, I didn’t want to belong to
anyone but it didn’t look like I had much of a choice.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> There had to be a way out though, there just
had to be. I slumped to the floor,
burying my face in my hands. I couldn’t
jump out that window, I just couldn’t end it.
I had fought to live for so long I just couldn’t give up now.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Softly I began to cry in frustration and
anger. It wasn’t long before I fell
asleep, exhaustion over coming my senses.
