Chapter 5
Soma:style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Shio’s Punishment
It had
been a week since I had returned home and I still couldn’t believe that Shio
had cut himself while I was gone. I
just couldn’t believe that he had the audacity to do something like that.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Of course I couldn’t believe what else he
had done either. I knew that Aki had
escaped while I was gone but I didn’t know how, no one did except Aki and the
one who helped him. It didn’t take me
long to figure out who helped him.
There wasn’t really any other pet who knew how to leave except Shio and
there wasn’t any other pet who knew as much about soul jewels like he did.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> It was easy for me to deduce that it was my
pet who had assisted Aki in his escape.
I found
him outside speaking with Aki. He could
get away with it now, putting up appearances because of the collar I got for
him. No one noticed any more because he
no longer had a leather collar. I
walked over to them and squatted down beside them. They looked over at me, startled by my sudden appearance.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> Usually masters just stood by the main doors
and shouted for the pets, they didn’t come out to get them.
“Soma,
how are you?” Aki asked with a smile.
< He seemed
better, the cross burn was still on his chest but it would be there for awhile,
“I’m fine, I’ve come for Shio.” I looked over at my pet.
They
scowled, “But I thought I had an hour or so left.” Shio said softly, looking up
at the sky.
“Doesn’t
matter, I need to speak with you about something that happened while I was
away.” I looked into his eyes and saw panic there. I smiled, “Let’s gio, io, it was good to see you Aki, perhaps
I’ll see you later tonight.”
He nodded
and Shio slowly stood up. Shio was
silent; he got like this when he was afraid or nervous.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He would be punished; he was going to be
punished for what he did. After he
escaped I had punished him and told him not to show anyone the route.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He had disobeyed me.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> When we walked into our room he immediately
sat down at my feet.
“You
deyedeyed me Shio.
Not only did you cut yourself, I can forgive that, but you showed Aki
the way out, that cannot be forgiven so easily.”
He
swallowed hard, “What do you mean?”
I
chuckled darkly, “You know exactly what I mean. Don’t play dumb with me pet.”
He leaned
against my leg,m som sorry, he asked me and I helped him.”
“You
should have told him there was no way out.” I stated, running my talons over
his shoulders.
He
shuddered under my touch, “Yes, of course, I just wanted to help him.”
“You know
what happens now, don’t you pet?” I asked, tipping his head up to look at
me. He swallowed hard and nodded,
“Good, layn.” n.” I ordered.
Slowly he
laid down on his back, putting his wrists together above his head, acting as
though they were tied there. I didn’t
like to tie him up, preferring him to stay in place and behave as though he
were bound. I smiled and slowly ran my
fingers down his chest.
and soft for a few moments before digging my nails in hard, drawing blood.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> It trickled down his chest, over his
flesh. I lapped it from my nails and
smiled at him sweetly.
“You know
what you did was wrong and yet you still did it.” I said before drawing my
nails down his sides.
He cried
out in pain and I stopped. That was as
far as I went with this. Easily I
flipped him onto his stomach. Without a
word I shoved three fingers into him.
He let out a scream as I scratched him.
I wouldn’t take him for a few days because of this but he had to be
punished.
“Soma!”
He screamed my name, “It hurts!
Please!”
“Hush
Shio. You’ll be fine, you know that.” I
said, scratching at his inner walls. He
whimpered and cried. When I removed my
fingers they were bloody, “I’m done with you now. I believe you’ve learned your lesson.” I said, getting to my feet
and wiping my hand off.
He
nodded, “I’ll just lay here.” He growled from his place on the floor.
“Yes, you
will. I’ll be back to see you in a
bit.” I said before walking away.
I needed
to go see if Yumi had anything for me to do.
What I found was Tadashi instead.
The young, white haired pureblood was lounging in Yumi’s room.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I looked over at him, confused as to what he
was doing there.
“Tadashi,
what are you doing here? Where’s Yumi?”
He opened
his eyes and looked at me, “Oh, Soma, Yumi went out for awhile.n
sn
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> He said he had something to do.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I don’t know where he went, he didn’t tell
me where. Is there something I can do
for you?” He asked, sitting up in bed.
“I needed
to know if there was something he needed me to do but since he’s not here I
suppose I can’t.” I shrugged, “How are you doing Tadashi?style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I heard what they did with your
brother. That was pretty…” I trailed
off, shuddering at the mere thought of it.
Uyama had
been downgraded in a most gruesome display.
He wasn’t a pureblood any longer, was a half-breed now, “It was
disgusting.” He said, “I don’t care about my brother, he hurt me.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> For all I care he’s could be rotting in hell.”
“In his
mind he most likely is. To be reduced
to a half-breed is a big jump.” I paused, “How old are you now Tadashi?”
“Twenty-eight.”
He said, “I’m really young, I know.”
I nodded,
“Whee yoe you going to get a pet? You
don’t want to wait around forever do you?”
“No, I
don’t, I just need to find the right person.”
“Well,
you never know what Yumi’s doing. I’ll
see you later Tadashi, find yourself a companion, you seem like you need one.”
“I just
might do that, if Yumi doesn’t do it for me.” He laughed as I walked away.
Tadashi
was a good kid, ok, so he wasn’t all that much younger then me but he was still
a child. A twenty-eight year old child
but a child nonetheless. I hoped that
he would find a good pet; he deserved one after what he had been through.style="mso-spacerun: yes"> I had a feeling that whoever he took as a
pet would be treated well. He seemed
the type to spoil his pet but not too much.
He would take good care of them, maybe even be a little over
protective. I knew that he would never
torture his pet; he would be kind and gentle.
It was just how he behaved that made me think he would be.
