I'm surprised no one made a comment about Paw's pronounciation of aspergers. That is the way I have been pronouncing it for years, not knowing the spelling, and the way several sites implied it was pronounced. I meant no offence to anyone. When I found the spelling of it I went looking for the proper pronounciation. A bit of a fluffy. Just to fill the time between this morning and tonight. They have to have a serious discussion! And then I've run out of plot... not the first time, not the last time. Could also be the focus of their discussion... just so... distracting. You'll find out in a bit. Read, Review and Enjoy. It was after Koln and Essuan left that Paw finally went up to the green room. Mik followed closely after the Sidhe and waited as Paw moved from plant to plant, pot to pot, checking to see if the soil was moist. Paw plucked a leaf here and there and ate them. Once the inspection of the whole room was made, the Sidhe turned to Mik and grinned.“Garden much better.”“Have you been watering it?” Mik asked, wondering if Paw had even noticed the change. Paw hadn’t stopped for longer than a moment at the plant by the water and the piece of wood. Paw nodded and reached out to feel a plant nearby, “not watering…” a frown, “something change.”“Mm, wonder what,” Mik murmured, turning to a specific tree he had noticed before. His mother had shown him a bit book of trees. And this one, he thought he recognised, was an apple tree. Small and spindly, it seemed almost sad, so far back away from the sun. Apples needed the sunlight to ripen… he thought. “Ah!” Mik turned toward’s Paw’s voice as he jabbed at where Mik had put the rock, “tree has blossom!”“Ehm… that changed the entire garden?”“No…” Paw turned away, cocking his head as if listening to something, “no… what changed. Mik. Mik changed something,” Paw turned towards Mik, “what did Mik do?”Mik smiled, “nothing permanent, you can remove it if you want. But you have to find it first.”“Give Paw hint…”Mik shook his head, “why not listen to what it tells you? Like you did with the MRI?”“Mik think Paw lie?”“Of course not. But I want to see if it works when it’s not a Sidhe involved.”Paw blinked at Mik, cocking his head to the other side, “smells of female in here.”Mik shrugged, “where did you think I got the items from.”“Mik’s mother? Mik’s mother have green thumb, people says. Big gardens. Paw has seen on metal box, Mik’s mother’s gardens. Prettiful.”“They are, yes.” the entire world knew about his mother’s gardens and he had been oblivious how?Paw’s green eyes flicked over the garden, counting the pots seemingly. Those eyes even flicked over the rock and the wood piece, “Paw no see.”“Paw. Listen.”“Listen to what? Plants no speak.”“Not to the plants, Paw, what do you hear?”“Why is Mik pushing Paw?” Paw snapped out.Mik shrugged, “because you’re running around the obvious. I said listen to what it tells you, you say plants don’t talk. So… what is talking to you?”Paw frowned, “Mik is.”“Well… yes.”Paw blinked and looked down at the rock, “Ahhh! Rock!”Paw could have seen it before and just had drawn it all out. But Mik still smiled as the Sidhe picked up the rock and turned it over in his hands, tracing patterns that only his eyes could find. Murmurings reached Mik’s ears. Paw set the rock down and turned, looking about.“It say there wood here too.”“Where?”“Not kind in Mik’s pants, either,” Paw jabbed a finger at Mik and turned his head, looking about.Mik blinked at Paw, “was that an insult about last night?”“Maybes. There!” Paw rushed over and snatched up the wood, cradling it in his hands as he looked it over, “wood!”“Yes.”“Mik mother send?” “Yes.”“Paw thinks Paw likes Mik’s mother.”“So does everyone else,” Mik murmured quietly..
